Come From a Grounded Place

How to ADAPT and Come From a Grounded Place in the New Paradigm ~

Many of us are aware that our environment has a lot to do with how well we’re feeling and how easy or difficult it is to come from a grounded place. That’s especially so when we need to communicate or move forward in a genuinely productive way! The energy of the Cosmos is changing radically and we are being called to ADAPT to a new paradigm based on common ground.

Come From a Grounded Place

Feng Shui Deva, Kuan Yin is helping us to find the resources we need to make the transition and come from a grounded place.

If you have noticed any of the following situations when you’re in a certain environment, try this exercise from Navigating Compassion Fatigue, an online resource from our Soul Oriented Solutions series –

SOS - Soul Oriented Solutions
SOS – Soul Oriented Solutions

If you feel like you or your environment are:

  • Ungrounded
  • Overwhelmed by too much stuff
  • Disorganized and confused
  • Unstable, unsafe or explosive
  • Juggling too many things
  • Unproductive – going around in circles
  • A magnet attracting negative energies.

Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.

Find a quiet place to sit in the center of your space, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Make sure both of your feet are firmly planted on the floor and that the soles of your shoes wouldn’t prevent you from grounding well.

Begin by reading the first message and then gaze gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for approximately two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working to help you and your environment to come into balance with each other and ground.

Some emotions may come up and when that happens always visualize the heaviness moving up, out and towards the Sun. You may intuitively feel that an object in the space should be moved or removed completely. Trust your instincts. Give yourself permission to let go of anything that could keep you stuck in the old paradigm.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body Integration - Self-care for lossFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of your body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Feel free to cross or uncross your arms whenever you intuitively feel you need to!

It helps to know that you can close down many harmful energies that may be running rampant through your body, mind and space.

Divine Protection

Keep this symbol handy to help you identify and close down life-destructive energy channels from the old paradigm. Keep in mind that those energy channels could be found within you or in your space.

Once they are closed, you’ll find that it’s much easier to clear your mind and be open to the generative life force (chi) that we look for in Feng Shui.

In Chinese, Feng Shui means wind water. These are the two elements that move energy for creating life when they are in balance. When they’re out of balance, they can create all kinds of destructive energy patterns – poltergeists, sudden reversals, collapse of protection and stagnancy – just to name a few. Needless to say, the energy channels from the old paradigm are very much out of balance and are creating quite a bit of instability for everyone.

The bottom line is – the sooner we can come from a grounded place in the New Paradigm – based on common ground, the better!

If you need help getting your space grounded, you’re welcome to connect with Rheanni for Feng Shui consulting. You can share some of the experiences you’re having and what you’re noticing about your space. Getting a Feng Shui perspective on your situation could be very useful and help you to make the best decisions about your space and what will help you now.

Once you’ve finished going through the entire exercise, take yourself for a gentle walk in nature or have a soak in a hot bath with Epsom salts or Sea Salt. It’s important to make sure that you’ve cleansed yourself.

Connection
  1. Begin by relaxing while you softly gaze at this Key. Use the following affirmation:

“I choose to relax and open up to my true potential.”

Presence

2. Take some more time to breathe deeply.
Pay special attention to those places in your body where you are feeling pain or discomfort.
Consciously send your breath to those places and let them relax.
Stretch if you need to. Open and close your hands. Notice the time and the space around you.

“I am fully present in the New Paradigm.”

Mind Body IntegrationScroll back up to Divine Protection and take a few moments to consciously close down any harmful energy channels in your body or your space.

Do it both crossed and uncrossed over the center line of your body.

Receptivity

3. Ask for peace and harmony to come into your heart and awareness.

Consciously move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your heart and solar plexus area.

Old Soul

Once you feel the shift, close down harmful energy channels again. The more relaxed you are, the better this works.

Balance

4. You don’t need to be perfect or be everything to everyone.

Could you be holding onto something that doesn’t belong to you or open to something that’s not yours to fix? If so, resolve to let any baggage go and send it to the Light.

You are responsible for yourself and only your part of the situation. What is your part? Shut down any energy channels that are irrelevant or distracting you.

Coherence

5. What you do matters and it’s important that you take good care of yourself.  Focus your energy on getting grounded. When you get grounded, you have a positive effect on those around you.

“I pull myself together and get grounded.”

What makes sense to do? What would be genuinely helpful in this situation? Is there something you can do to be genuinely helpful to others?

Nourishment

6. To do this effectively, you need a strong connection to a generative life force. You need to take care of yourself and able to ask for help. Go back to your heart and listen to it beating – nice and steady. Affirm to yourself:

“I call on my Spirit to help me get in balance.”

“I am connected and aligned with my highest good.”

Take all the time you need with this.

Self-care

7. What else do you need to help you take good care of yourself?

Make a list so you can remember.

Change

8. Do you have old intentions or agendas you need to change? You can find them by examining your life and asking yourself, “what’s been working and what hasn’t been working?”

Are you willing to let go of things that are not working?

Release any agreements to hold on.

“I’m willing and able to let go and make the changes necessary for me now.”

Realization

9. Keep looking at the Circle while you relax and think of something that you love very much.

Have you been jeopardizing things that matter to you? If you have, what can you do to set it right?

Make note of the ideas that come to you.

Clean Up

9. Use this Circle to sweep any confusion or clutter out of your mind and send the debris up to the Sun. In your mind’s eye, sweep it all away!

Notice how much better your body feels when your mind gets clear.

REDIRECT

10. Imagine that your Spirit can gently take you by your heart and head. Let it turn you around – toward the direction of your highest good.

Allow a generative flow of life affirming energy to circulate through your body.

DECISION

11. Use this Circle to help you close the door on all that clutter and confusion.

Choose to close the doors and seal the leaks as if they were never there.

You probably feel much clearer now.

Inner Guidance

12. Take some deep breaths and move your body around again. Let your shoulders drop. Listen to that calm, gentle voice that comes from your heart. What is it telling you?

Old Soul

New BeginningS

Allow a generative energy to begin in your solar plexus. Feel it moving up into your heart and let it fill up your entire body – all the way to your fingertips. You are creating a new template for a new beginning.

Closure

13. Gaze at this symbol and close harmful energy channels that may still be open from all ten directions of the Feng Shui Grid: north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, northwest – above and below.

“I close down all harmful energy channels.”

Repeat all directions with this intention: “My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”

Remember that the need to unify in common ground is real! The changes are taking place over time and you will likely need to do this exercise repeatedly. Take yourself for a gentle walk in nature or have a soak in a hot bath with Epsom/Sea Salts to cleanse yourself.

Navigating Danger

September -October, 2020 Intuitive Reading from the I Ching or Book of Change – Navigating Danger.

In this intuitive reading for September 20th – October 11, 2020, Soul Resources offers a variety of SOS formulas and Transformation Games using the Intuitive Learning Circles and the I Ching for navigating DANGER as we seek to build a better world based on the Common Good.

Creating Synergy for a New Paradigm

Gaining a Larger Perspective on the Current Flow

2020 is the Year of the Yang White or Golden Rat in the Chinese Zodiac. The Rat is generally described as active, fertile, filled with energy and industrious. However, Rats also attract clutter, spread disease and tend to meddle in situations where they can do serious damage. As I’ve mentioned before, another year of the White Metal Rat was 1720 when the French city of Marseille was devastated by the Black Plague. Unfortunately, the themes of collective karma around responsibility and illness is difficult to miss.

The I Ching (or Book of Change) Energy was in the flow of Hexagram #6 CONFLICT for the whole month of July. Then, at the beginning of August, the energy changed to #30 SYNERGY. Unfortunately, the collective mindset of the USA remained stuck in the CONFLICT and was unwilling to detach from the gridlock and take advantage of the more positive energy.
As a result, we have entered into Hexagram #29 DANGER for the next 2 – 4 weeks.

I Ching Intuitive Reading for September 20th – October 11th, 2020.

I Ching Workbook - R. L. WingThe original intent of the I Ching was based on an Eastern philosophy of observation and marking changes in natural and human events. Through many centuries and contributions from shamans and master teachers, including Lau Tzu and Confucius, the Book of Change was developed into a full philosophy for applying beneficial human conduct to varying circumstances. The Art of Feng Shui is part of that philosophy.

The Transformation Games, Mind Exercises and Self-care Formulas listed at the bottom of this Reading follow I Ching advice for Navigating DANGER, as translated by R.L. Wing.

“The situation is one of real DANGER, caused by and manifested in the affairs of man. This DANGER is not inspired by overwhelming tendencies within the cosmos, or by conflicts in your innermost attitudes. The real DANGER that confronts you is brought about by your immediate environment. It will take skill to overcome the difficulties, but managed properly, this time of challenge can bring out the very best in you. The Chinese text points out that if you can act with confidence and virtue whatever you do results in success.”

Do not avoid confrontations in any difficult or threatening situations; you must now meet and overcome them through correct behavior. Maintain a continued resolve. Hold to your ethics and principles and do not for a moment consider compromising what you believe to be right. Acting with integrity and confidence is the key to surmounting the DANGER.

In business or political affairs, stick to approved policy. When making judgements regarding matters of leadership, neither bargain with your principles nor attempt to avoid the issue, for such actions would render meaningless all that has been achieved thus far. In social interactions, remain true to your nature. If possible, convince others of the soundness of your ideas by demonstrating the good effects of your actions. If they will not support you, you do not need them. Keep moving. Do not dally in the DANGER. In personal relationships, do not allow passions to to lead you into peril. If the difficulties cannot be resolved without sacrificing your principles, the relationship may be irresolute.

The time of DANGER can be especially good for inner development. By holding to fixed and virtuous ethics, by maintaining your inner vision and ideals, all things fall into a steady, tangible perspective. You will know your relationships to your environment, and in this way you can accomplish your aims. Although subjective, this perspective is now in accord with the problems facing you now.

Additionally, by persevering in high minded conduct, you become a living example to your family and your fellow man. Through the consistency of your actions you guide and inspire others in the handling of their own affairs. This in turn will create order and dispel DANGER within your milieu. Thus you are protected.

Frequent encounters with DANGER are a part of life. Beyond making you inwardly strong, familiarity with DANGER, like the near brush of death, can instill in you a profound awareness of the life force and the mysterious nature of the cosmos. Such heightened awareness can bring new meaning, determination, and richness into your life.”

The Fourth Changing Line Holds the Key to Navigating Danger:

“Take the simple and direct approach to solving your problems and over coming difficulties. Strive for clarity of mind. Do not clutter your actions with useless pretense, since it will only confuse the situation.” ~ Hexagram #29 DANGER, The I Ching Workbook by R. L. Wing

6. SOS – Self-care for Grief. We have lost so much over the past few months. The extent of what’s happened on a personal, economic and collective level is aggravated by the loss of iconic leaders and injustice in our own neighborhoods. Everyone has lost something or someone of major significance. We must hold the faith and keep our spiritual connection alive. Take time out to gently grieve your losses and ask for help.

7. SOS – Resolving Emotional Shock. In this pandemic, experiencing shock is more common than not. Unfortunately, if you don’t get grounded in your body after a shock – or if you’re not able to – you’re making it easier for illness to develop. This exercise will help keep you from covid burn-out.

8.  SOS – Dispelling Self-doubt and ProjectionsPeople are becoming sensitive to each others thoughts and emotions more than ever, and it’s especially easy to tap into negative thoughts that you grew up with as a child because they’re so familiar. Free yourself from the grip of projections, paranoia and self-doubt. This self-care formula is from Rheanni Lightwater’s PTSD Workbook.

Transforming Your Life: What’s Next?

Transformation Games can help you to identify problems, navigate change and clarify what’s really a priority for transforming your life.  Simply relax and gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles while you contemplate the questions, positive affirmations and ideas. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek…

Welcome to the I Ching Reading and Transformation Game for:

Transforming Your Life in The Year of the Rat

This year, the Chinese Horoscope animal is the White Metal Rat, which began on January 25th, 2020, ending on to February 11th, 2021. Recent Years ruled by the Rat are 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996 and 2008.

The Rat is generally described as active, fertile, filled with energy and industrious. However, Rats also have a nasty tendency to attract clutter, spread disease and generally insert themselves into situations where they’re not wanted.

The major considerations of Rat energy in 2020 includes keeping your environment and thinking clear to help you transform illness and unhealthy patterns of neglect.

By the way, all this fits in perfectly with 2020 being the Year of the Emperor within the Tarot system. The Emperor is about male authority and the effective (or ineffective) management of physical reality, particularly the land. It’s easy to see how dangerous the Rat’s out of control enthusiasm mixes with the management style of a self-absorbed authoritarian figure.

To help you, this Transformation Game has been put together to increase your awareness, clarify your priorities and make healthy choices to help you stay clear and on track!

Managing the Hazards and Flow of Opportunities in the Year of the Rat ~

As you gaze at this Circle that accesses your personal energy flow, see if you currently need some increased self-awareness around an important aspect of your life. Ask yourself:

“Would it benefit me to get inner guidance about my environment (feng shui ) for creating career, money, health, home or dwelling, business opportunity or a love relationship?”

Make sure that you’re aware of the current flow of the Tao – or “gateway through which all things move.” Use some positive affirmations to help you get there:

“I choose to notice the flow of the Tao.”

“I have correct awareness of the prevailing energy in my environment.”

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, be sure you look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that you gather up all the unconscious information about your situation.

Open Your 4th Chakra So You Can Be Inspired By Your Inner Guidance ~

Use this Reiki Chakra Key to balance and open your Heart Center.

“My heart is open to the flow of joy and balanced prosperity in this situation.”

“I am centered and radiating ___________.”

“My heart is empowered and aligned with my highest good.”

When things are a mess, it’s very easy to get off track. You’re going to need true loyalty to your Self and your highest good to make wise choices. Gently look at the next Circle to affirm your best intentions:

“My agreement is to remain loyal to myself and my best interests.”

“I make choices that keep me on a positive path towards life affirming goals.”

“I let go of _________. I prepare for __________. I take care of __________.”

“I use beneficial channels of communication to further my highest good.”

“I clear and empower my Throat Chakra to speak truthfully for the highest good.”

Focus in on the open, blank space in the middle of this Circle. Send your energy to it using these positive affirmations:

“I use my energy wisely.”

“I make a conscious choice to focus my energy on genuinely helpful people, projects and activities.”

Make a list of things or experiences you would like to create that would be genuinely productive for you at this time.

“I decide to let go of unproductive activities and negativity. I send them to the Light to be transformed.”

Make a list of things you need to let go of…

“I am fully present and ready to transform my life.”

The Essential Human*Note: If you have a copy of The Essential Human, now would be a good time to use it to untangle yourself from any harmful energies or messy situations.

Energy Medicine for the New Paradigm

Once you’ve done that, you’ll probably feel quite a bit better.

If you’re willing, there are several other decisions you could make that could really improve how you handle opportunities.

Let’s continue with several principles that are bound to be helpful as you transform your life.

Priority #1: Stay focused and calm.

The year will have many challenges – sometimes too many! Keeping a calm and peaceful mindset will help you stay aware of possible difficulties. Ask yourself:

“Am I calm?  Focused? Is there something I need to pay attention to for my own good?

Priority #2: Keep Your Choices Down to Earth and Do-able.

Keeping your perception realistic sets you up for success and keeps you on track.

“I let go of fantasies and unrealistic ideas.”

“I focus on what’s really possible for me to create in my current situation.”

“I perceive my situation as it really is.”

“Clarity of thought and good boundaries create the best conditions for success.”

“I decide that being calm and stable are healthy qualities to nurture.”

Priority #3: Stay Grounded In Your Own Garden.

It can be pretty easy to wander off into other people’s gardens looking for tempting morsels or opportunities that aren’t really meant for us. This is what is known as ‘the other man’s grass is always greener.” Don’t buy into it!

“I remain in my own garden and harvest my own blessings.”

Priority #4: Keep Your Space Clear of Garbage and Clutter.

We may have a tendency to accumulate too much or stuff that doesn’t really work for us. Use this Circle to help you clear any clutter or garbage out of your mind or personal space. You can imagine a broom just sweeping it all away to the Sun!

Once your mind feels clear, ask yourself, “Is there anything I should clear out or clean up in my physical environment?”

Priority #5: Know What’s Best for You.

Slow down and remember what’s most important for you at this time. Having priorities out of order contributes to neglect, failure and self-pity. Stop and make a choice about what’s most important for you right now.

“What is most important right now?’

“Do I have some intentions that conflict with each other? If so, can I tell what they are? What can I do to clear the conflicts?

Am I in a suitable position to be successful? If not, what would help?”

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of any societal or familial patterns that interfere with transforming your life. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve the destructive energies or old patterns of ____________, etc. ”

I decide to get grounded and follow the path that’s most beneficial to me.”

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to trouble.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Transforming your life is an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of neglect that prevent us from creating more sustainable systems for health, relationships and prosperity.

You can use this opportunity to plant beneficial karmic seeds for these new systems and any other useful resources that you may need in the near or distant future.

Congratulations!

Once you begin to take responsibility for how you’re using your energy, you can bring sustainable choices into your world and benefit everyone!

Changes in Your Environment

Feng Shui Tips for Handling Recent Changes in Your Environment:

Rheanni Lightwater
Rheanni Lightwater

When going through a radical change, it’s a great help to clean out certain areas of our homes and keep an eye on how well the energy is moving. While we’re rearranging things, we can reorganize our intentions to adapt to the changes in our environment and circumstances. When we take the time to do that, we’re allowing a physical and psychological space to open up for new things to come in and help us adjust both inwardly and outwardly.

Changes in Your Environment - Crystal CleansingFor example, I have a lot of crystals and objects that I consider sacred. I got a strong message that I need to regularly cleanse those crystals and rearrange other significant objects to accommodate the changes in the I Ching flow. Why is that so important? Because crystals and significant personal objects can hold onto a great deal of energy and old intentions.

In order to keep my mind and energy flexible, I don’t want to be held back by the gravity of those old energies. Also, I don’t want to be blocked by old intentions and outdated agreements that aren’t relevant anymore. They only perpetuate inner conflict or confusion!

A few months ago, when the pandemic started, I got the strong guidance to “change with the changes and still stay grounded.” In the early summer, my inner guidance was to “bring light and balanced prosperity into my mindset and environment.” Now the focus seems to be “I am firmly grounded in the new paradigm and have plenty of emotional support.” This are pretty big changes, and I’m sure there will be many more to come!

Big changes in your environment can be supported with the help of Reiki, strong intention and clear crystals.

To cleanse crystals, I gather them up from around my house and property and then place them in a bowl of water mixed with sea salt. Around the full moon, I’m guided to set them outside for a day or two to cleanse. That way, they will get really clear through an infusion of both Sun and Moon light. Then, I set new intentions with those crystals, based on what is needed now.

Notice that I didn’t say, “please keep the coronavirus away,” or “please be sure that civil war doesn’t break out.” If I were to set intentions based on things I don’t want to happen, my whole mindset would start to unconsciously fixate on all the uncertainty and fear that these things attract. To make things even worse, the energy in my environment should start to organize around the fixation. That’s exactly opposite of what I want!

So, when I set intentions in turbulent times, I calm myself down first. Once the shock is abated and my mind is clear of anxiety, I ask for a life affirming experience that’s general enough to allow positive change to occur and that makes sense under my current circumstances. That part is especially important since we know the changes we’re going through are liable to continue for some time. Then, I set up the energy in my living space to organize around the new intention by mindfully placing the crystals and/or sacred objects as I’m guided.

If you are interested in this process of reorganizing your intention, here are a few Intuitive Learning Circles that will help you focus and re-organize your awareness. Simply gaze softly at each Circle while you contemplate the question or positive affirmations that go with it.

  1. What, if anything, has recently changed in your environment?

How have your circumstances changed?

Is there a general improvement or decline?

2. Are there any agreements or decisions you need to reorganize?

3. What is the best way to nurture and care for yourself now?

4. What changes in your environment do you need to make to support your new intention? The changes could be inside or outside.

Prosperity

How might you bring light and balanced prosperity into your environment?”

Congratulations! Make a list of the inspiration that comes and you’re off to a good start!

Feng Shui Assessment

Invest in a Feng Shui Assessment For Your Home to Enhance Your Health, Happiness and Prosperity ~

Feng Shui (pronunced “fung shway”) is a Chinese term that means “wind and water” symbolizing the natural flow of “chi” or life energy that flows through our environment and supports life. Predating Taoism and Confucianism, this ancient art of flow and placement in one’s environment has been used to facilitate balance and well being in every important aspect of life. It has also been used to ensure that we are in the “right place at the right time.”

Certain changes in your life may cause an imbalance that would benefit from a Feng Shui Assessment or Re-assessment including:

  • Health – illness, accidents, sudden sensitivity to environment, death.
  • Relationship Changes – engagements, marriage, births, divorce, children or other family members moving out or in.
  • Safety – serious or frequent injury, robbery, assault or other forms of violence.
  • Financial – sudden downturn in business, loss of job, difficulty holding a job or changing careers, bankruptcy.
  • Moving or remodeling.
  • General changes of direction – in lifestyle, livelihood, personal health and goals.

As you can see, a feng shui assessment can be very useful anytime you’re going through a significant change. Even a change of seasons. The process we use at Soul Resources helps you to change the energy and optimize your chances for success in all areas of your life.

Let Go of The Cynic

A Transformation Game to Let Go of The Cynic ~

Transformation Game - Let Go of the Cynic RCK X
* Illustration by Norbert Losche’ – Cosmic Tarot

Transformation Games can help you to identify problems, navigate change and clarify what’s really important to you. Simply relax and gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles™ while contemplating the accompanying positive affirmations to help you transform aspects of THE DEVIL from the Tarot.*

Relax and follow the directions… your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek!

Welcome to our Transformation Game about Tarot Card # 15 – The Devil and his little brother – The Cynic.

According to Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary, a cynic is “A faultfinding captious critic; especially one who believes that human conduct is motivated wholly by self-interest.”

Comedian Stephen Colbert describes it even better when he says, “Cynicism masquerades as wisdom, but it is the furthest thing from it. Because cynics don’t learn anything. Because cynicism is a self-imposed blindness, a rejection of the world because we are afraid it will hurt us or disappoint us. Cynics always say no. But saying “yes” begins things. Saying ‘yes’ is how things grow. Saying ‘yes’ leads to knowledge.”

Indeed, the role of the cynic in American culture has been considered a wise and time honored tradition. Yet, there is very little that’s wise or honorable about feeding beliefs that keep people small with one’s energy or attention.

How Can We Let Go of the Cynic?

Sadly, the Cynic tries to block help even if it would really do him or her some good.

Gaze softly at the Circle below and imagine you can detach yourself from any collective, societal beliefs that being cynical is a desirable way to connect with anyone… with yourself, a mate, a family member, a business associate or anyone you know… even people in general.

Release your agreement to block or reject things that are helpful.

In your mind, you can see those old agreements like piles of legal contracts burning up into nothing.

“I release agreements to buy into the malaise of cynicism.”

“I burn up negative self-talk about my worth, my humanity, my appearance or my abilities.”

“I release agreements that negate _________.”

The chakras around a person’s ankles can get tangled when they encounter cynical energy. Release the energetic ties that hold you back:

“I stop tripping over confusion and negativity. I clear away the chains that bind me.”

Ankles

Empower your ability to transform the Cynic.

It may take a while to expel all that cynical conditioning! Allow this Chart to help you access your divine connection and empower your choice:

“I connect with my spirit to fulfill my true potential.”

“I choose to be open to my highest good.”

I reclaim an authentic source of power and self-worth.”

“I have the ability to face the cynic and dispel its effect on me.”

Take time to REPAIR your blind spot.

Everyone has a “blind spot”somewhere in their consciousness. For some reason, we’ve all been conditioned to turn a blind eye to something. However, The Cynic actually functions out of a blind spot. You may want to see if you can remedy some of that by gazing softly at this Reiki Chakra Key, together with these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance all of my senses.”

“I REPAIR my blind spot(s) and access true wisdom instead.”

“I use my senses to become aware of my highest good and the very best my situation has to offer.”

“I can clearly sense what will help me to _______________.”

What kinds of help have you been saying “no” to?

Is there anyone who has recently offered you something that you immediately blocked or said “no” to without seriously considering it?

Have you recently poo-pooed one of your own ideas?

In each of those cases, did the “no” come from your Authentic Self? A cynical place…? or somewhere else?

Are messages from your Spirit being blocked by the Cynic?

The Cynic is not our friend!

In this case, delusions are the cause of our suffering – not other people or things. I’ve heard it said that cynicism is the father of disappointment and despair, so let’s detach from the beliefs that create disappointment or despair in ourselves or anyone else.

Gaze softly at the Circle and imagine you can close the door on any collective, societal malaise that feeds these common cynical beliefs:

“I release the belief that people…
are stupid,
selfish,
want to be lied to,
don’t want to work  together,
don’t care,
are not to be trusted,
or that people are ____________.”

It is true that some people are behaving in these ways, yet to declare that it comes from the essence of their being feeds the Cynic, not our Souls! Plus, it does nothing to move us forward as a culture.

Correct the emotional ingredients you’re using to create with.

The Essential HumanYou may need to detach from the collective malaise of the Cynic. If you have a copy of The Essential Human, now may be a good time to use Emotional Corrections A – E between pages 97 and 101 to access and balance energies you’re pulling from the ‘collective malaise”. Choose archetypal  energies between #1 and 42.

Going through this process will help you let go of harmful attachments and connect with a more positive outlook.

Now you’re ready to clear the habitual mental and emotional blueprints ~

We all have family patterns and social conditioning that contribute to the malaise of cynicism. You can use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify them in your unconscious mind and clear them out. Just imagine the harmful thoughts, emotions and attitudes are like dark clouds, dissolving away or disappearing into the Sun.

Keep dissolving them until you can see yourself standing in a beautiful field with a blue sky overhead!

The Cynic often goes underground to spread his or her lies and distortions. Use this symbol to imagine you can collapse any energetic sewage system that’s spreading contaminates to or from you!

Empower healthier choices.

Now that you’ve cleared all that, it’s essential to turn your attention to what you would prefer to create and feed that instead. Here are some suggested affirmations:

“I empower my ability to have faith in humanity.”

“I am filled with courage and determination.”

“I redirection my attention and energy to ________.”

“I empower my choice to _______.”

Complete your Transformation Game ~

Now that you’ve learned some of what’s involved with The Cynic, be certain to close the door on any leaks or pathways that might lead you back to that pattern. Use this affirmation with the Circle to help you:

“I close the doors and seal the leaks that lead back to the malaise.”

“I head in the direction of healthy protection.”

Closure for Mind Body Healing

Congratulations! You have just let go of the cynic and dealt with one of the biggest bullies in our culture. Go out and celebrate by doing something really nice for yourself!

Feng Shui Mandala

Suggested Feng Shui input to counter-act the energy of The Cynic in your space:
By input, I’m talking about the information (data, art, movies, music, objects, color, elements) that you expose yourself to or surround yourself with.
When you surround yourself with genuinely uplifting input, it will produce a sensory response within you that can make all the difference in your motivation.

  • If you happen to have any objects – perhaps coffee cups or clever posters, badges or refrigerator art that displays the cynical mind at work, take them down and replace them with images that inspire and uplift your true nature.
  • If you have had a feng shui or space clearing session done on your home, your environment is already set up to give you support and positive input. If you’ve never tried feng shui, try re-arranging twelve items (objects, knick-knacks, furniture, artwork, etc) in your home or office that increase your sense of self-worth (you can also go through this Feng Shui Game if you like).

Feng Shui for Your Home in the New Year

How to Use Feng Shui For Your Home with the I Ching to ADAPT to Change ~

Feng Shui for your home is very useful at any time there’s a change of season. It’s especially important during this transition into the new year where there are so many new energies coming in that we need to ADAPT to.

Luckily, we can use Feng Shui to help us bring greater harmony into our homes and offices during this key time!

*As you go through this Transformation Game, it’s good to keep the Feng Shui principle in mind about finding twelve objects you can move or rearrange in some way at the change of every season or during other times of significant change.

Feng Shui for Your Home

The I Ching or Book of Change is also invaluable as we all navigate the change. Like Feng Shui,  it follows the movements and tendencies in the cosmos using a series of sixty-four hexagrams or energy flows. When the Feng Shui for your home can go with the flow of life, we can create a more generative flow. Fortunately, ADAPTING is the I Ching energy over the next few weeks, so the flow will be working with us! The text says:

“Rid yourself of old prejudices and opinions (objects and furnishings) that may be controlling your behavior and holding you back… You will find yourself parting ways with former inferior elements in your life as you make contact with worthwhile persons or ideals. By firmly following the superior path you will find what you are looking for, while your strength of character will greatly benefit.”
~ Hexagram #17 ADAPTING, The I Ching Workbook, R. L Wing

To begin assessing the Feng Shui for Your Home, it helps to focus your awareness:

Rheanni Lightwater - Feng Shui for Your Home
Rheanni Lightwater, Feng Shui Consultant

I use the Intuitive Learning Circles™ as mindfulness tools for tuning into my intuition and focusing my “feng shui eyes.” You can easily learn to use them too! All you have to do is relax and gaze softly at the Circles while you gently contemplate the affirmations or questions that go with them.

For example, this Circle will help you gather up your senses and focus them on assessing the energy of your home:

“I connect with my five senses.”

“I fine tune them to be present and aware of my Souls purpose.”

“I use them to become aware of my environment.”

“I gain clear awareness of helpful or harmful influences in my surroundings.”

Mind Body IntegrationThey say that intuition is easier when all of the senses are balanced. Some may be turned up too high and some may be too low. Relax and allow your eyes to rest gently on the Circle below.

Take some deep breaths and let your shoulders drop. Adjust the volume to your senses. Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to achieve greater mind body integration and tune into your “feng shui eyes.”

River

Next, gaze gently at this Circle to get present and relax. Breathe deeply. Slow everything down, so that you can get a more objective “read” on the situation. Use an affirmation like:

“I slow down and bring my attention in, towards what’s truly important about my environment right now.”

Feng Shui for Your Home
Sloth

Imagine that you can slow the energy around you down, like a slow motion replay you would see on TV. We often miss intuitive information because things are just moving too fast!

[You] “can now benefit from internal stillness. By avoiding thoughts that project too far into the future, and dispelling illusions of what can or will be, you can overcome ego-generated difficulties.” ~ Hexagram #52 MEDITATION, The I Ching Workbook, R. L Wing

So often we miss things because we’re thinking about how things were in the past or worry about how things could be in the future. Truth is, we need to be very present with what’s going on right now. There’s a lot of very important things shifting and changing!

Use this Circle for the Four Seasons to get present. Notice where you are right now.  Ask yourself:

Am I fully in the present? If not, is part of me stuck in the past? Am I anxious about the future?”

Four Seasons

Feel your hands open and close. Check for the date and time. Move around. Use this affirmation: “I bring myself fully into the present.”

ADAPT to the changes by recalibrating your energy in accordance with your highest good.

“I am empowered and in alignment with my highest good.”

Finally, in order to get an accurate read, you need to trust your “gut instincts.” In this situation, do you trust your gut feeling?

Divine Perspective

If the answer you get is “no,” you’d be missing a really important aspect of doing an effective Feng Shui assessment. Go here, to get help if you need it.

If the answer you get is “yes,” you are ready to get an accurate “read” on your home!

So let’s get started!

I always start with a few quick check questions, starting with what needs to be removed. When you remove disturbing influences first, your environment can support you better as it suggests in I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR:

“The situation will develop new energy and inspiration once the problems are removed.”

Quick Check #1: Ask yourself this question while gazing softly at the Intuitive Learning Circle™ below:

“In general, do I need to remove clutter or disturbing influences from my home, yard or office?”

Old Soul
Old Sol

“If so, can I tell what they are and what I need to do?”

Interesting isn’t? You intuitively know somethings up, but need a little help to focus in on the details of what’s actually happening.

Quick Check #2: Get a sense if anything needs to be rearranged so you can optimize your chances for success in all areas of your life. Ask yourself:

“Do I need to rearrange something in my home to let go of the past and optimize my potential for success? If so, can I tell what it is or what area needs rearranging?”

Praying Mantis

“You can see the problems clearly. The timing is excellent for making amends.” ~I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR

Quick Check # 3: The third question is about whether or not something needs to be added. This isn’t a question about what’s fashionable, it’s about flow. Many beautiful houses are picture perfect, yet they don’t feel comfortable or welcoming. What’s missing in those cases is a harmonious flow. So, while you gaze softly at this next Circle, think about your home again, as it is currently. Ask:

“Is anything missing? Are there any holes or disturbances in the flow? If so, can I tell where they are?”

Divine Protection

Can you get an idea of what you might add to make the correction? Make sure you keep in mind the needs of the other people who live or work with you.

“Only through intelligent deliberation can you be certain that the action you take is correct… The correct actions now are constructive rather than combative and lay the foundation for continued growth toward the good.” ~ I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR

Additional Questions for Preventing STAGNATION:

“The opportunity to change a situation from STAGNATION to progress is at hand. It will not happen of its own accord. A strong and continuing sense of purpose is necessary to achieve and maintain the greatest possible heights of success.”  ~ Hexagram #17 ADAPTING

As you play the rest of the game, see if you can find at least twelve objects that you can move, rearrange or remove. Pay special attention to objects that you have retained from childhood or previous relationships.

“Could I benefit from being more grounded and present in my own home?”

Grounding the Essential Self

“If so, can I identify the source of what the problem is?”

“Does something need to be moved, reorganized or completely removed to help me be more grounded?”

Question #5

“Is there any interference with productivity?”

I Focus on Productive Activities

“If so, can I identify something that needs to be moved, reorganized or completely removed in order to help me be more productive?”

Question #6

“Is my health or prosperity struggling because of disharmony in my  environment?”

Hummingbird

Does something need to be moved, reorganized or completely removed to restore harmony? Does something need to be added?”

Question #7

Is there anything you still need to know about your environment that could be creating STAGNATION? For example, sometimes a building really needs to get aired out, especially in the wintertime. Would opening up the windows for an hour or so be helpful? What about burning some Palo Santo or a clearing resin?

“Do I need to clear the energy?”

Emotional Calm
Vibration

“If so, is there a specific intention I could use while doing the clearing?”

Now you can use this Circle to review your list for Feng Shui for your home. See if you have come up with at least twelve items that can be moved, removed, or added to accommodate the changes that you are currently experiencing.

Animal Spirits

Some people don’t know that feng shui can also help you to correct instability and “take apart” destructive patterns that are causing you and your family harm. Those patterns may have been a part of the family dynamic for a very long time.

Once the imbalances are corrected in your environment, personal growth happens more easily and effectively. Good health is supported. Your sense of timing improves, chaos is reduced and changes in life direction are more easily achieved.

Going through this process can help you evaluate whether or not your home is providing a stable and healthy environment for you. Plus, you could get some inspiration or possible remedies to support your happiness.

Office Feng Shui

Achieve Your Business Goals in 2020 Using Office Feng Shui ~

Office Feng Shui in the New ParadigmAs your business changes and grows, it’s important to keep some fundamental principles about office Feng Shui in mind so that your goals for success are properly supported.

In this article I’m going to share several basic issues and remedies I often use when working with clients who want to know how to set up their office or studio space for success. Then, just for some added fun and insight, we’ll also use some Intuitive Learning Circles™ to help you zero in on what your intuition says about the space you work in! Rheanni Lightwater, Feng Shui Consultant

Principle #1: Productivity

A smart business owner or professional pays close attention to their office or workplace environment and uses proper input to increase productivity.

What are some of the things to think about? What would a Feng Shui expert ask you about your office space? Certainly, a reliable practitioner would want to find out if something about your office is keeping you from doing your best. It’s easy to get distracted by non-essential details. You can clarify that for yourself a bit by using the Mind Exercise below.

Take a break from your busy day, slow down and see your business environment as it is right now.

This Intuitive Learning Circle™ from Gifts from the Rainforest will help you slow down, tune into your intuitive senses and clarify what’s going on. Simply gaze softly at the Circle for a few moments with a soft gaze. Relax and allow your mind to to get still.

Use these positive affirmations while you take a few breaths:

“I slow down. I choose to be calm and centered.”

Sloth Medicine – Slow down!

“I know what my primary business goals are.”

It often helps to imagine that everything is moving in slow motion. Once your mind has stopped chattering, you’ll be able to focus on your business priorities with greater accuracy. You might want to make some notes about what’s important.

Now, turn your attention to your actual, physical working environment as it is right now. Look around:

What is your overall impression?

Do you feel productive there? Do you feel comfortable?

Do you feel competent and empowered? If not, can you tell why not?

Does anything distract you?

If so, make a note of whatever distracts you and we’ll come back to it later.

Principle #2 Grounding

A smart business owner makes sure that they feel grounded in their working environment.

If your intentions aren’t grounded in your space, your success is being severely compromised. It’s wise to rectify this situation as soon as possible.

This is another Intuitive Learning Circle™ that’s about being grounded. Use it in the same way you used the previous Circle, except this time, make sure both feet are on the ground. Relax and gaze at the Circle with a soft focus while you review the intentions you just wrote down.

“I am well grounded in the intentions I have for my business.”

Grounding.

Ungrounded Office Feng ShuiNow, ask yourself another set of questions:

“Is this building/room grounded?

Am I able to think clearly in my environment?

Do I easily get tossed around or overwhelmed?”

If you’re having a problem here, it’s a really good idea to get the room grounded. You can either get a professional help or you could try standing or sitting in the middle of the space and use this affirmation while you gaze quietly at the Reiki Chakra Key below:

“I am grounded in this space.”

Connect with Mother Earth.

Additional tips if you’re having trouble grounding:

Obsidian for office feng shui
Image ~ Geology.com

I often use obsidian to keep spaces grounded here in the Southwest area of the United States. Find a good size rock and place it somewhere unobtrusive as close to the center of the room as is practical.

You may have your own favorite techniques for getting grounded. Go ahead and try them. You can confirm whether they’ve worked or not by looking at this Circle for Soul connection and asking:

“Is the space grounded now? If not, what would help?”

Old Soul

“Is there anything else my Soul would like me to know?”

Follow the suggestions you get until the answer comes back positive. If you feel that there’s a lot of interference, you can try one of my favorite Mind Exercises: Grounding in the Truth.

Principle #3: Support

A smart business owner makes sure that the decor in their working environment supports their intention.

If you own a restaurant, you’ll want it to have an atmosphere that suits the style of eating establishment you have in mind. The needs of a fast food deli, for instance, would be quite different from a place intended for fine dining. The same goes for every kind of business – if the atmosphere doesn’t “feel” right, its success will be compromised. Another suggestionThat’s one reason why it’s usually a very good idea to keep your home office out of your bedroom. Usually sleeping well and business productivity aren’t a good mix!

Sometimes it’s hard to know whether you’re on track, so here’s another Intuitive Learning Circle to help you tune into the overall “feel” of your working environment.

As you look at this Circle, imagine your space again in your mind’s eye, then ask yourself these questions:

“Does the decor support my true intentions for this business?”

“Am I feeling nurtured here? Do I feel stressed here? If so, why?”

“What might help me tap into the energy I need to attract business success?”

Remember if there’s anything about your office feng shui that’s creating disharmony, it will effect you negatively. Use Kuan Yin’s symbol for Restoring Peace in Your Environment to help you meditate on the changes that would help you. Ask yourself: “What needs to change?”

Consider moving, clearing or re-organizing whatever is distracting you.

If you’re still not feeling supported in your workplace, there could be many other possible reasons. Again, calling in a professional is probably a good idea, however, if you enjoyed playing Office Feng Shui, you could find some remedies at our online store, Feng Shui Healing Arts.
