- Internalizing the stress and pain of those around you.
You are not alone and you can easily get some relief by going through the Overwhelm Help Exercise #4 out of Navigating Loss and Compassion Fatigue from our Soul Oriented Solutions series.
Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.
Find a quiet place if possible, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty – thirty minutes. Begin by reading the first message and then gaze gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for approximately two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images seem to move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working with the positive affirmations to bring your mind and body back into balance.
Some emotions might come up as well. That also means the Circles are working. If you’re being hard on yourself or afraid you aren’t “doing it right,” give yourself permission to continue relaxing and let go of anything that’s causing you pain or discomfort. You could be releasing a mindset that’s caused you quite a bit of suffering for some time now. Resolve to patiently keep breathing and let it go.
Mind Body Integration
For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of your body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.
Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!
If someone is with you, talk to them about some of the feelings that you’re having. It could help you to gain perspective on your situation. Having perspective allows you to make the best decisions about what will help you now.
After you’ve finished going through the entire formula, let yourself rest for a little while. You’re doing very well with such a difficult circumstance. Be sure to take things one at a time.

Because communication lines have become obscured or broken down completely, take a few moments to connect with the beneficial life force that’s available to you through the Soul Prayer Chart for Divine Protection.

Imagine all the lines coming together and connecting into the center spoke of this circle until you feel strong, positive energy flowing through you.

Clearing an Overwhelmed Mind ~
Slow Down
1. When you’re feeling overwhelmed, it really helps to slow down.
If you take a few moments to gaze softly at this Circle, you can consciously slow down the thoughts that are running around in your head.
You can also use it to imagine that the energy around you is slowing down -moving in slow motion.

Presence
2. Gaze softly at the next Circle and take a few moments to breathe deeply.
Pay special attention to those places in your body where you’re feeling pain or discomfort.
Just let them relax.
Move around or stretch if you need to.

Receiving
3. Ask for peace and healing to come into your body.
See if you can move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your center in the heart and solar plexus area.
Relax and receive the benefits of slowing down. Take some time for yourself.
Once you’re feeling calmer, you can gently bring to mind what you were wanting to do.
Contemplate with the help of Divine Protection to get improved insights.

Centering
4. You may need some more time to get your bearings.
Being centered in the present is a big part of being okay.
Let your energy get connected in your center solar plexus area.
When you’re ready, notice what’s to the right of you and to the left of you.
What is your relationship to the Earth below and the sky above?

Balance
5. You don’t need to be perfect or be everything to everyone.
Are you expecting too much of yourself? If so, give yourself a break and let it go.
You can stop sending your energy in so many directions.
Focus your energy on yourself and what you need right now.
What really matters in this situation? What’s most important to you?
It really helps to integrate your new priorities with Divine Protection.

Release
6. You may feel like you’re stuck on something or being pulled in too many directions.
Relax and meditate on this Correction Key for as long as you like.
Imagine that a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over you – gently releasing you from all that dark, chaotic energy.
You can gently heal the wounds of the past.

CHANGE
7. You feel ready, you’ll be able to let go and make the changes necessary for you now. Are you willing to let go of false ideas and release obligations that are causing you harm?
Release any agreements to hold on or keep doing things that aren’t working.
See them like old contracts burning up in a Violet Flame.
What a relief that is.

Nourishment
8. Once you’ve let go, you can pull your energy back to your center and listen to your heart beating – nice and steady.
It’s okay to ask for help. You are alive and need to take good care of yourself.
What would help you do that?
Utilize Divine Protection to make a list a list so you can remember.

Hope
9. Let your body and mind connect with Hope.
True Hope is an expression of Universal Love that reunites you with your Soul.
Feel the Hope and connection with your Soul returning to you.

Reunion
10. Gaze gently at the Circle while you think about something or someone that you love very much. Relax and let go of any pressures you put on yourself.
Maybe you just needed to take some time so you can get back in touch with what really matters.
Take all the time you like. It’s okay to let go of tension and feel the love returning to you.

Compassion
11. It’s much easier to focus your energy on taking good care of yourself now.
Your resources and natural instincts are returning.
Your sense of direction, protection and motivation is reorganizing around what you need in the present.
You’re learning that your choices matter.
You are important and your spirit cares about you.

Clearing
12. Now it’s time to clear the clutter and darkness out of your mind.
Imagine it vacuuming up and being sent to the Sun. It’s time to forgive and let whatever’s bugging you go to where ever it needs to go to be healed.
Pull the messes out of every nook and cranny.
Take all the time that you need…
Once it’s clear, notice how much better you feel.

Closure
12. Close the pathways that lead back to all those places that exhaust you – like too many open tabs on a computer.
Then, close the doors on scary places that overwhelm you, wherever they are.
Sealing and healing pathways of suffering between you and others will help everyone feel much better.

Protection
13. Relax again with Divine Protection and ask for continued protection as you move upward and onward towards whatever’s next. You are protected and positive life force is flowing through your body and mind.
Life affirming communication lines are coming together into the center spoke of the wheel to help and strengthen you.

14. Take some deep breaths and listen to that calm, gentle voice that comes from your heart.
What is it telling you?
New Beginnings
15. Let a calm feeling come from your heart and fill up your entire body – all the way to your fingertips.
