Retrograde energy has a strong potential to cause energy reversals. This could affect the feng shui flow of chi in your home. For example, the flow of chi in my home reversed during the recent transition into the new Lunar year. A sudden reversal of Feng Shui flow is a precurser to stagnation. Financial and relationship troubles are likely to develop if stagnation is left untreated. Luckily, there are some Feng Shui remedies for STAGNATION that can be applied to help the energy of your home and property.
For deeper understanding about the general nature of stagnant energy, you can visit this Transformation Game and go through it if you like. However, this particular article is more about the actual remedies you can employ in your environment to help prevent STAGNATION from taking over on a physical level.
Remedies for Stagnation
How do you know if your home is under the influence of stagnant energy?
To help you out, I’ve put together a list of things to look out for and then some suggestions for things to do when the energy of your home or office is stuck or stagnant.
When you’re experiencing a lot of disharmony or arguments in your personal relationships.
When you’re feeling heavy, apathetic, lethargic or drained.
When the energy in your home feels dark and gloomy.
When it’s tough to get things done and it doesn’t feel like there’s a way out.
When you’re feeling stuck in chaotic or negative emotional energy.
You feel like you’re being followed around by a black cloud.
Business isn’t doing well.
Here are some physical space clearing ideas you can employ to improve the energy for productivity, happiness and sustainable prosperity.
Outside Remedies for STAGNATION:
Clear out dead or obviously failing plants and things like rotting or infested areas such as vegetable gardens. That includes dead animals or animal waste.
Check vegetable and flower gardens for rotting or infested plants and clear them out.
Keep crab grass shoots from spreading.
Clean up loose twigs and branches.
Trim back overgrown areas.
Cut down or remove sickly or dead trees.
If you have stumps, cover them or place a large container with flowers over them.
Remove broken pots, pottery shards or sharp objects.
Make sure the entrance of the house is not obstructed by hoses, plants or yard clutter.
Keep all entrances and hallways clear to walk through.
Place a metal chime or decoration in the area of your yard near the front door.
Make sure there are no potholes near the front door.
Darker colors on a front entrance door attracts life energy. If you can’t change your front door color, try a dark welcome mat to place in front of it.
A water element in the front yard will enhance the chi. Try a water bowl or pond, a fountain or a hummingbird feeder in summer months. Be sure to keep the water fresh. Stagnant water will create the opposite of what you want.
Inside Remedies for Stagnation:
Remove any mirrors that are placed to face the front door.
Remove mirrors from corners that block the flow of chi through the bagua areas.
Adjust the position of any mirrors that are facing eachother or that create chaotic energy throughout your home or office.
Clear out old papers from office desks, cabinets or storage units.
Clean out the refrigerator, kitchen and pantry cabinets of old, outdated foods.
Let go of broken or unused appliances, furniture, etc.
Remove any source of mold or mildew (often found under old linoleum or in showers, corners, etc).
Repair any water leaks or standing water.
Place a Feng Shui frog or cricket in the wealth area of the front entrance room to welcome abundant resources.
Consider a water fountain or aquarium in the front area of a living room, family room or office (never place a water fountain directly to the left of the front entrance inside).
There’s also personal work that can be done for healing emotional and mental roots that lead to STAGNATION. For that, you can contact Rheanni for online training and when you visit Santa Fe ~

Ever since 2009, Kuan Yin has offered her assistance through specially chosen Transformation Games, Mind Exercises and Self-care Formulas to help us navigate whatever changes were required. As a time-honored and respected guide in the Healing Arts, her aim has always been to help us stay calm and navigate the chaotic transition from the old paradigm into the New Paradigm with clear minds and hearts.
Now, she is helping us to adjust to the reality of living in the new energy. Unfortunately, random energy reversals during retrograde are likely to recur frequently throughout most of this first year.
Recommended Transformation Games to Help you adjust and Keep You Moving with the Flow In the New Paradigm, Rather than Against it.
Recent changes in the flow of the Universe have affected us in so many ways that we do not understand yet. Because the chakras react to and reflect environmental factors, it’s important that we pay attention to how well they are functioning and proactively rebalance them when needed.
The biggest issue during this period is the tendency for chakras (and other energy systems) to suddenly start running in reverse or shut down completely. This backward movement can cause serious physical problems that come on suddenly.
Add to that the increase in violence, chronic health imbalances caused by Covid 19 and the overwhelmed state of our collective mental/emotional health and you’ve got a serious situation that should not be ignored.
For that reason, Kuan Yin has asked me to bring back a format I used to utilize so that I can post Mind Exercises and Transformation Games that are likely to address conflicts in each of the Primary Chakras. It is my hope that they will help you keep your chakras moving in the right direction, free of conflict and reversals. Here are her suggested intentions:
“I am centered and balanced.”
“I release toxic energy and allow my energy to adapt and flow with the new energy of the New Paradigm.”
Lets begin with the Root Chakra and move up:
“Our root chakra is red and governs the physical body, our instincts and the assumptions we have about life. It’s located at the very base of the trunk of your body.
In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the Root needs are physiological – air, food, water, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep and having adequate methods of communication.
Gaze softly at the Root Chakra Key above and then ask yourself:
“Are my physiological needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”
Do I need chakra balancing here? if so, what would help me to bring my Root Chakra in balance?
Next up is the Second Chakra (also known as the Spleen Chakra):
“The second energy center is referred to here as the spleen chakra because it is deeply connected to our emotions, digestion and immunity. Its color is orange and is located 2-3 inches down from the navel.
In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the second level needs are safety oriented – protection from the elements, security, order, law, stability and freedom from fear.
Gaze softly at the Second Chakra Key above for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:
“Are my safety and security needs being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”
Do I need chakra balancing here? if so, what would help me to bring my 2nd Chakra in balance?
The Sixth Chakra and the Power of Your Perception:
“The third eye chakra contains the energy of insight and wisdom. Located in the center of the forehead just above the eyebrow, this chakra is associated with the color purple.
In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the sixth level needs include aesthetic needs – the appreciation of and search for beauty, balance and form, etc. Kuan Yin would add the need for spiritual insight and understanding.
Gaze softly at the Sixth Chakra Key above for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:
“Are my needs for creativity and spiritual understanding being met? Am I giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”
Do I need chakra balancing here? if so, what would help me to bring my Sixth Chakra in balance?
“The crown chakra is our connection to spirit. This is the energy center that connects us with divine inspiration. Its color is white as it contains all things and it can cast a golden ring when in states of ecstasy.
In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs the seventh level needs include self actualization needs – realizing personal potential, self-fulfillment, seeking personal growth and peak experiences.
Gaze softly at the Seventh Chakra Key above for a minute or so. Then ask yourself:
“Are my self-actualization needs being met? Are my fulfillment needs blocked in any way? Am I taking action and giving them the proper priority, position and attention for my life to be in balance?”
Do I need chakra balancing here? if so, what would help me to bring my Seventh Chakra in balance?
In conclusion, Kuan Yin recommends that you take the time to understand and adapt to all the changes going on.
Whether you want to prepare for improved health, career, finances or relationships, your mind and the whole experience will be much happier if you have an ongoing practice that will help you adapt and nurture yourself.

Welcome to a space clearing that uses Feng Shui and the Intuitive Learning Circles for saying goodbye with respect and without attachment.
If you are in the process of moving, you may be surprised how hard saying goodbye to the place you called “home” is.
Home is so much more than a building. It includes the people, the community, the memories and intentions that have helped you generate your life up until this point. They are all important, whether you liked them or not!
You may say, “I don’t have time for this right now. I’ve got to get moved out. I’ll do it later.” Or, you might be involved in a longer transition and say, “My old house is going to become a rental or sold later. I don’t have to deal with that now.”
It’s also possible that you simply need to leave behind some old memories or ways of being so you can gather yourself more fully into the present.
Whatever your situation, going through a renegotiation and space clearing like this now, rather than later, will make your whole transition so much easier. Not only that, if you can be fully present and without attachments, whatever your future holds will have much less baggage and confusion.
A wise person once said, “when one door closes, another one opens.” The principles and customs of Feng Shui absolutely concur with that sentiment. The intention of this exercise is to facilitate that movement by saying goodbye with respect. That way, your mind is clear and you are truly free – open to embrace your future, whatever that involves!
Saying Goodbye ~
In this mind exercise, we are going to create a ceremony for saying goodbye and preparing for a prosperous new beginning by using our imaginations to paint the picture! All you need to do is relax and gaze softly at the Circles while you follow the directions that go along with each one. Bring along a piece of paper and something to write on or draw with.
Mind Body Integration
For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of your body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.
Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!
Begin by bringing in your Soul and Higher Self to oversee the process of saying goodbye.
Breathe deeply and open up communication with your heart and Soul. Doing this will help you to know what’s truly important to you about making about this transition.
The Importance of Agreements
The mind works through agreements. Saying goodbye and setting up a new life goes so much easier when you release all agreements with the parts of your life that are over and done with.
Mentally release your Soul contracts or agreements around this building and any past significant buildings in your life. Visualize actual contracts with the property, the land, the city and the community and burn all that is over and done with. Include the people and organizations that you’re saying goodbye to. These relationships may not be over, but surely they are going to change! Use this Circle to let go of those agreements.
“I let go of all Soul Agreements that are complete – over and done with.”
See old debts, vows and resentments burn up like old contracts in a beautiful violet flame.
If you have completed a project in this home, acknowledge it by letting that contract be released into the fire. This would include raising children, building a career, being in relationship of any kind.
If you have experienced trauma here, that is also a significant part of your life.
Saying goodbye is a conscious acknowledgment of what has been important to you.
Pull up any energetic stakes or ties that you may have planted on your turf.
Note: This process may happen incrementally, depending on your timeline for moving…
Begin with your current home and the land it’s on. What was your original intention when you moved into this place? It’s very helpful to uproot any completed or outdated intentions and send them to the Light, so that something different can happen more easily.
Once you do that, you may notice that you still have ties to other places you’ve lived, especially childhood homes. Now is a excellent time to pull up those stakes as well. If you can engage your imagination and see those stakes going to the Light, your move forward will be much easier and more joyful!
Next, expand your awareness to other places that have been special to you in your environment – favorite or significant places like restaurants, parks, schools, even doctors offices. You will be able to tell when you’re ready to address a particular attachment because you will feel that pull – that painful tug on your heart.
You can uproot your attachment and feel even better about all these places. That’s because you can now connect with them through Love rather than suffering and pain.
Clear Your Baggage and Set Things Right.
With this new awareness, you can consciously let go of anything that would be better to not take with you. Of course that means physical objects like furniture, clothes and accessories, however, a lot of baggage is energetic in nature. Luckily, you can surrender them to Spirit.
It can be difficult to let go. Sometimes the heart just closes down. Allow this Circle to help you relax and open your heart again.
“I surrender what needs to be surrendered.”
“I let go of what needs to be released.”
As you’re finding out, preparing to move is an excellent time to set things right emotionally and spiritually. You’d be surprised how moving can bring up other issues or problems that aren’t really yours and need to be returned. When that happens, it’s best to imagine those things going to the Light. If you think of something that you actually physically need to return to someone, make a note of it and plan to return it.
“I return anything that belongs to someone else. All debts and confusions are set right.”
You can do the same with people. Maybe there are a few people that still cling to you for reasons of their own. It could be neediness, anger, jealousy, co-dependence or even guilt! It’s time to send them back to wherever they came from, kindly but firmly, so that the both of you are free to move on.
Gather Up Your Power
As part of setting things right, you need to reciprocate. For example, you could be clinging to some people as well! You will want to reclaim your authority by recalling all parts and functions that belong with you. You don’t want to leave things behind that other people will have to deal with. Use this affirmation to help you:
“I call back all energetic parts of myself so that I can move forward in wholeness.”
Include your personal power, special abilities, talents and gifts. If you can take back any harmful intentions, grudges or resentments, you’ll be doing everyone a favor – especially you!
Now It’s Time to Call Back Your Essence.
This is like a Soul Retrieval. Use this chart to call back all parts of your Essence that may have gotten lost or fragmented during your life in this home (or anywhere else, for that matter).
“I reclaim my Essence with appreciation and gratitude.”
Note: It’s worth it to recall those people or special places you released your agreements with. A fragmented part of yourself could very likely be wandering around, feeling a bit lost. Call them back so that you can live in wholeness!
Get Grounded and Centered in your Solar Plexus Chakra.
Your Essential Self functions best when it’s unified and positioned in your Solar Plexus Chakra. Envision your Self standing upright and facing forward to enhance your gut instinct.
Clear Destructive Emotional or Mental Patterns.
Dissolve any harmful mental or emotional patterns with this symbol. See those attachments like a large cloud bank that you can consciously send to the Light or see them dissolve into pure sunlight – the darkness all gone.
Let the Sun safely transmute, transform and complete this stage of your journey.
Please note: Never send destructive energies into the Earth, she already has too much to handle now. Use the Earth for planting seeds of happiness and life – not death!
It’s also very helpful to use both of the symbol above and below to clear the entire space while you’re smudging with your favorite cleansing plants, woods or resins.
If there’s been any illness, loss or disease involved with your environment, use this symbol to send that energy to the Light as well.
When One Door Closes, Another One Opens.
Before moving on, bring completion to the process of saying goodbye. Let this Circle help you close those old doors and pathways so that your new path can become clear.
“All old doors, holes or pathways are sealed and healed.
I follow the direction of healthy protection.”
Express Gratitude By Relaxing and Getting Grounded.
Finally! Thank all the people, places and experiences that have been a part of your life. They have helped you create who you are today.
This is a good time to find and follow through on a simple action that will mark the end of Saying Goodbye.

How to ADAPT and Come From a Grounded Place in the New Paradigm ~
Many of us are aware that how we experience our environment has a lot to do with how well we’re feeling and how easy or difficult it is to come from a grounded place. That’s especially so when we need to communicate or move forward in a genuinely productive way! The energy of the Cosmos has changed radically and we are being called to ADAPT to a new paradigm based on common ground.
This Mind Exercise will help you make the transition you need and come from a grounded place.
If you have noticed any of the following situations when you’re in a certain environment, try this exercise fromNavigating Compassion Fatigue, an online resource from our Soul Oriented Solutions series –
If you feel like you or your environment are:
Overwhelmed by too much stuff
Disorganized and confused
Unstable, unsafe or explosive
Juggling too many things
Unproductive – going around in circles
A magnet attracting negative energies.
Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.
Find a quiet place to sit in the center of your space, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Make sure both of your feet are firmly planted on the floor and that the soles of your shoes wouldn’t prevent you from grounding well.
Begin by meditating on this symbol that will help you organize your mind around the structure for Creating Common Ground.
Then, go through the exercise by reading each message and then gazing gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for a minute or so. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working to help you and your environment to come into balance with each other and ground.
Some emotions may come up and when that happens always visualize the heaviness moving up, out and towards the Sun. You may intuitively feel that an object in the space should be moved or removed completely. Trust your instincts. Give yourself permission to let go of anything that could keep you stuck in the old paradigm.
Mind Body Integration
For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of your body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.
Feel free to cross or uncross your arms whenever you intuitively feel you need to!
It helps to know that you can close down many harmful energies that may be running rampant through your body, mind and space.
Keep this symbol handy to help you identify and close down life-destructive energy channels from the old paradigm. Those unhealthy energy channels could be found within you or in your space.
Once they are closed, you’ll find that it’s much easier to clear your mind and be open to the generative life force (chi) that we look for in Feng Shui.
In Chinese, Feng Shui means wind water. These are the two elements that move energy for creating life when they are in balance. When they’re out of balance, they can create all kinds of destructive energy patterns – poltergeists, sudden reversals, collapse of protection and stagnancy – just to name a few. Needless to say, the transition from the old energy channels of the Piscean Age (water) to the new energy channels (air) are causing quite a bit of instability for everyone.
The bottom line is – the sooner we can come from a grounded place in the New Paradigm – based on common ground, the better!
If you need help getting your space grounded, you’re welcome to connect with Rheanni for Feng Shui consulting. You can share some of the experiences you’re having and what you’re noticing about your space. Getting a Feng Shui perspective on your situation could be very useful and help you to make the best decisions about your space and what will help you now.
Once you’ve finished going through the entire exercise, take yourself for a gentle walk in nature or have a soak in a hot bath with Epsom salts or Sea Salt. It’s important to make sure that you’ve cleansed yourself.
Begin by relaxing while you softly gaze at this Key. Use the following affirmation:
“I choose to relax and open up to my true potential.”
2. Take some more time to breathe deeply. Pay special attention to those places in your body where you are feeling pain or discomfort. Consciously send your breath to those places and let them relax.
Stretch if you need to. Open and close your hands. Notice the time and the space around you.
“I bring myself into the present in the New Paradigm.”
Scroll back up to Divine Protection and take a few moments to consciously close down any harmful energy channels in your body or your space.
Do it both crossed and uncrossed over the center line of your body.
3. Ask for peace and harmony to come into your heart and awareness.
Consciously move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your heart and solar plexus area.
Once you feel the shift, close down harmful energy channels again. The more relaxed you are, the better this works.
4. Connect with your instinctual nature.
Use the Circle to help you bring it into your awareness so that you can improve your relationship with your environment.
Do you get instinctual messages or intuitive hits about certain areas?
Could there be an object that’s holding old energy or keeping you grounded in past unhappiness?
If there is, take a moment to move it now and clear the area with Divine Protection.
5. You don’t need to be perfect or be everything to everyone.
Could you be holding onto something that doesn’t belong to you or leaving yourself open to a problem that’s not yours to fix?
You are responsible for yourself and only your part of the situation. What is your part?
What makes sense to do? What would be genuinely helpful in this situation?
Resolve to let any misguided intentions go, like old smoke disappearing into the Light.
6. Make sure that you’re accessing the most beneficial energies to support you and your environment.
You may notice that some directions hold more auspicious energies for you than others.
Shut down any energy channels that are irrelevant or distracting you with Divine Protection.
7. To do this effectively, you need a strong connection to a generative life force. You need to take care of yourself and able to ask for help. Go back to your heart and listen to it beating – nice and steady. Affirm to yourself:
“I call on my Spirit to help me get in balance.”
“I am connected and aligned with my highest good.”
Take all the time you need with this.
8. There are other directions that are far less advantageous for you.
Use this Circle to help you stop tapping into harmful or destructive energies that don’t support you and that bring chaos into your environment.
Shut down any remaining energy channels that are irrelevant or distracting you with Divine Protection.
9. What you do matters and it’s important that you take good care of yourself. Focus your energy on getting grounded. When you get grounded, you have a positive effect on those around you.
“I pull myself together and get grounded.”
10. Is there anything else you need to do to take good care of yourself?
Does anything else need to happen in your environment to help you come from a grounded place?
Make a list so you can remember.
11. Do you have old intentions or assumptions you need to change? You can find them by examining your life and asking yourself:
“What’s been working and what hasn’t been working?”
Release any agreements to hold on. “I’m willing and able to let go and make the changes necessary for me now.”
12. Keep looking at the Circle while you relax and think of something that you love very much.
Have you been unknowingly jeopardizing things that matter to you?
If you have, what can you do to set it right?
Make note of the ideas that come to you.
13. Use this Circle to sweep any confusion or clutter out of your mind and send the debris up to the Sun. In your mind’s eye, sweep it all away!
Notice how much better your body feels when your mind gets clear.
Make note of ideas that come to you about how you might remove the clutter out of your environment.
14. Imagine that your Spirit can gently take you by your heart and head. Let it turn you around – toward the direction of your highest good.
Allow a generative flow of life affirming energy to circulate through your body.
15. Use this Circle to help you close the door on all that clutter and confusion.
Choose to close the doors and seal the leaks as if they were never there.
You probably feel much clearer now.
16. Take some deep breaths and move your body around again. Let your shoulders drop. Listen to that calm, gentle voice that comes from your heart. What is it telling you?
17. Allow a generative energy to begin in your solar plexus. Feel it moving up into your heart and let it fill up your entire body – all the way to your fingertips. You are creating a new template for a new beginning.
18. Gaze at this symbol and close harmful energy channels that may still be open from all ten directions of the Feng Shui Grid: north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west, northwest – above and below.
“I close down all harmful energy channels.”
Repeat all directions with this intention: “My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”
Remember that the need to unify in common ground is real! The changes are taking place over time and you will likely need to do this exercise repeatedly. Take yourself for a gentle walk in nature or have a soak in a hot bath with Epsom/Sea Salts to cleanse yourself.

Feng Shui Tips for Handling Recent Changes in Your Environment:
When going through a radical change, it’s a great help to clean out certain areas of our homes and keep an eye on how well the energy is moving. While we’re rearranging things, we can reorganize our intentions to adapt to the changes in our environment and circumstances. When we take the time to do that, we’re allowing a physical and psychological space to open up for new things to come in and help us adjust both inwardly and outwardly.
For example, I have a lot of crystals and a prayer pipe that I consider sacred. Early on in my Feng Shui practice, I got a strong message that I need to regularly clear out my pipe, cleanse those crystals and rearrange other significant objects to accommodate the changes in the I Ching flow. Why is that so important?
— Because crystals, prayer containers and other significant personal objects can hold onto a great deal of energy and old intentions.
In order to keep my mind and energy flexible, I don’t want to be held back by the gravity of those old energies. Also, I don’t want to be blocked by old intentions and outdated agreements that aren’t relevant anymore. They only perpetuate inner conflict or confusion, especially now that we’re obviously in a very different space!
For example, when the pandemic started, I got the strong guidance to “change with the changes and still stay grounded.” In the early summer of 2020, my inner guidance was to “bring light and balanced prosperity into my mindset and environment.” at the Winter Solstice I was guided to pray for “safe transition into the New Paradigm”. Now my intention is “I am firmly grounded in the New Paradigm and have Divine Protection.” These are pretty big changes, and I’m sure there will be many more to come!
Big changes in your environment can be supported with the help of Reiki, strong intention and clear crystals.
To cleanse crystals, I gather them up from around my house and property and then place them in a bowl of water mixed with sea salt. Around the full moon, I’m guided to set them outside for a day or two to cleanse. That way, they will get really clear through an infusion of both Sun and Moon light. Then, I set a new strong and focused intention with those crystals, based on what is needed now.
Notice that I didn’t say, “please keep the coronavirus away,” or “please be sure that civil war doesn’t break out.” If I were to set intentions based on things I don’t want to happen, my whole mindset would start to unconsciously fixate on all the uncertainty and fear that these things attract. To make things even worse, the energy in my environment should start to organize around the fixation. That’s exactly opposite of what I want!
I also don’t want to make intentions frivolously or ask for so many new things that I unwittingly create chaos, conflict and confusion.
So, when I set intentions in turbulent times, I calm myself down first. Once the shock is abated and my mind is clear of anxiety, I ask for a life affirming experience that’s general enough to allow positive change to occur and that makes sense under my current circumstances. That part is especially important since we know the changes we’re going through are liable to continue for some time. Then, I set up the energy in my living space to organize around the new intention by mindfully placing the crystals and/or sacred objects as I’m guided.
Once I’ve set my intention in the space, I pay attention to what I start to attract. If I start attracting chaos, conflict or confusion, I know that I need to reassess my intention and reorganize it.
I don’t waste my time beating myself up for having made a mistake or not doing it “perfectly”. After all, this is a whole new energy we’re in. We’re at the very beginning of one Age, while the other has departed entirely! It’s going to take a while for our minds to adjust. Mistakes are going to happen. Just get back up, clear your mind and be willing to let go of your assumptions about how you thought things were going to be.
If you’re interested in this process of reassessing and reorganizing your intention, You might be interested in an extra intuitive exercise I’ve put together.

Invest in a Feng Shui Assessment For Your Home to Enhance Your Health, Happiness and Prosperity ~
Feng Shui (pronunced “fung shway”) is a Chinese term that means “wind and water” symbolizing the natural flow of “chi” or life energy that flows through our environment and supports life. Predating Taoism and Confucianism, this ancient art of flow and placement in one’s environment has been used to facilitate balance and well being in every important aspect of life. It has also been used to ensure that we are in the “right place at the right time.”
Certain changes in your life may cause an imbalance that would benefit from a Feng Shui Assessment or Re-assessment including:
Health – illness, accidents, sudden sensitivity to environment, death.
Relationship Changes – engagements, marriage, births, divorce, children or other family members moving out or in.
Safety – serious or frequent injury, robbery, assault or other forms of violence.
Financial – sudden downturn in business, loss of job, difficulty holding a job or changing careers, bankruptcy.
Moving or remodeling.

How to ADAPT the Feng Shui For Your Home to Go With the Natural Flow of the New Season ~
Feng Shui for your home is very useful at any time there’s a change of season. It’s also good to check in any time significant changes have taken place and make some assessments.
For example, just a few months ago, we were still able to access some of the Water based flow of the Piscean Age. Now, as we’re approaching the Autumn Equinox, we find ourselves needing to make changes to adapt to the Air based flow of chi which is much lighter, faster and quick to change. Luckily, there are some Feng Shui principles we can use to help us manage this transition.
Let’s start by changing our agreements with how the flow of Water and Air are supposed to work for us!
“I release my agreements with old ways that are no longer working and adapt to fundamental changes in how the natural flow of chi (life force) is moving.”
This transformation is admittedly a challenge, yet it’s one we definitely need to meet!
On one hand, we want to find ways to calm down and properly direct the flow of Air, which for many is manifesting as wildfires, floods, social unrest and emotional volatility. On the other hand, there are many areas in our environment that are still stagnating in the old water based pattern, which manifests as illness, apathy, resentment and depression. This is a recipe for disaster and it needs to be reversed!
To help you adapt to any energy reversals you may be experiencing, take a minute or two with this Correction Key.
“I repair the glitches, holes and blockages in my energy system.” “All shut downs and reversals are gently corrected.”
If your energy feels jagged or disjointed, stay with the Key until the energy smooths out. Do this both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.
What else can we do to pull ourselves up out of the muck and mire?
The I Ching or Book of Change is also an invaluable resources as we investigate this change. Like Feng Shui, it follows the movements and tendencies in the cosmos using a series of sixty-four hexagrams or energy flows. When the Feng Shui for your home goes with the flow of life, it’s easier to create more beneficial circumstances for ourselves. Whenever the I Ching energy is ADAPTING, it’s a beneficial time to simplify your environment and remove discordant objects or furnishings that don’t work anymore. The text says:
“When autumn approaches, all of life that continues to survive begins an adaptation to the season. The pelts of animals begin to thicken in anticipation of the winter, while the seeds of plants scatter themselves in autumn winds to await the spring. The bark of the tree increases to protect itself from the cold, while insects may burrow deep inside to hibernate. By ADAPTING to the forces, life is protected as it rests and restores itself for new activity….
Rid yourself of old prejudices and opinions (objects and furnishings) that may be controlling your behavior and holding you back…”
~ Hexagram #17 ADAPTING, The I Ching Workbook, R. L Wing
If you’re ready to begin assessing the Feng Shui for Your Home, it helps to focus your awareness:
I use the Intuitive Learning Circles as mindfulness tools for tuning into my intuition and focusing my “feng shui eyes.” You can easily learn to use them too! All you have to do is relax and gaze softly at the Circles while you gently contemplate the affirmations or questions that go with them.
For example, This Reiki Chakra Key accesses the Life Path Chakras, positioned on either side of the top of the head, about one inch out from the Crown Chakra. They carry our potential for this lifetime.
When the polarity between these energy centers are negative, we expend a lot of effort to achieve our aims. When their polarity is positive and balanced, things get a lot easier.
Breathe deeply and engage your potential to help you understand the flow of Feng Shui and the changes that are occurring. You can use these positive affirmations to help you:
“These chakras are open and have a positive charge.”
“I am opening up to my potential and following my own life path.”
“I bring ease and flow into how I perceive and use energy.”
Next, the Rational Thought Chakra Key and it’s affirmations will help you gather up your senses and focus them on assessing the energy of your environment:
“I connect with my five senses.”
“I fine tune them to be present and aware of my long term goals.”
“I use them to become aware of my environment.”
“I gain clear awareness of helpful or harmful influences in the environment.”
They say that intuition is easier when all of the senses are balanced. Some may be turned up too high and some may be too low. Relax and allow your eyes to rest gently on the center of the Circle below to balance them.
Take some deep breaths and let your shoulders drop. Adjust the volume to your senses. Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to achieve greater mind body integration and tune into your “feng shui eyes.”
Next, gaze gently at this Circle to get present and relax. Breathe deeply. Imagine that you’re slowing down, so you can get a more objective “read” on the situation. Use an affirmation like:
“I slow down and bring my attention in, towards what’s truly important about my environment right now.”
Imagine that you can slow the energy around you down, like a slow motion replay you would see on TV. We often miss intuitive information because things are just moving too fast!
[You] “can now benefit from internal stillness. By avoiding thoughts that project too far into the future, and dispelling illusions of what can or will be, you can overcome ego-generated difficulties.” ~ Hexagram #52 MEDITATION, The I Ching Workbook, R. L Wing
So often we miss things that are right in front of us because we’re thinking about how things were in the past or worrying about how things could be in the future. Truth is, we need to be very present with what’s going on right now. There’s a lot of very important things shifting and changing!
Use this Circle for the Four Seasons to get present. Notice where you are right now. Ask yourself:
“Am I fully in the present? If not, is part of me lingering in the past? Am I projecting out too much about the future?”
Feel your hands open and close. Check for the date and time. Move around. Use this affirmation: “I pull myself inward, so I can be fully present.”
ADAPT to the changes by recalibrating your energy to function in accordance with your highest good.
“I am empowered to make whatever changes are needed now.”
Finally, in order to get an accurate read, you need to connect with your “gut instincts.” Take a few moments with this Circle to help you gather them up and utilize them.
“I gather up my natural instincts and use them to help me be more aware.”
You also need to trust them. In this situation, do you trust your gut feeling?
If the answer you get is “no,” you’d be missing a really important aspect of doing an effective Feng Shui assessment. Go here, to get help if you need it.
If the answer you get is “yes,” get something to take notes with and you are ready to get an accurate “read” on your home!
So let’s get started with a simple Feng Shui assessment for your home!
Here are five baseline questions, beginning with what needs to be removed. When you remove disturbing influences first, your environment can support you better as it suggests in I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR:
“The situation will develop new energy and inspiration once the problems are removed.”
Baseline Check #1: Ask yourself this question while gazing softly at the Intuitive Learning Circle below:
“Under these new conditions, do I need to remove clutter or disturbing influences from my home, yard or office?”
“If so, can I tell what they are and what I need to do?”
Interesting isn’t? You intuitively know somethings up, but need a little help to focus in on the details of what’s actually happening.
Baseline Check #2: Get a sense if anything needs to be rearranged so you can optimize your chances for success in all areas of your life. Ask yourself:
“Do I need to rearrange something in this environment to let go of stagnant energy from the past? Could I rearrange something that would lighten up the energy? If so, can I tell what it is or what area needs rearranging?”
“You can see the problems clearly. The timing is excellent for making amends.” ~I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR
Baseline Check #3: The third question is about whether or not something needs to be redirected. For example, the Feng Shui in your home may need additional help when the chi goes retrograde and starts to run in reverse. This is more subtle, yet especially important during this transition because the I Ching energy is running in the flow of CONTRADICTION.
To help you, release any agreement to inadvertently maintain unhealthy drains of energy.
Agree to replace them with the Generative Flow and Protection that available in the New Paradigm.
Next, take note of the answers you get when you ask these questions:
“Is something out of order or contradictory? That means running in opposition. Are there any holes or disturbances in the flow? If so, where is it located?
Is there an area where people get upset easily, feel depressed or are prone to arguments?
Is there a place where water accumulates and causes damage?”
Baseline Check #4: The fourth question is about whether or not something needs to be added. This isn’t a question about what’s fashionable, it’s about flow. Many beautiful houses are picture perfect, yet they don’t feel comfortable or welcoming. What’s missing in those cases is a harmonious flow. So, while you gaze softly at this next Circle, think about your environment again, as it is currently. Ask:
“Is anything missing? What might bring more harmony into the space?”
Can you get an idea of what you might add to make the correction? Make sure you keep in mind the needs of the other people who live or work with you.
“Only through intelligent deliberation can you be certain that the action you take is correct… The correct actions now are constructive rather than combative and lay the foundation for continued growth toward the good.” ~ I Ching Hexagram #18 REPAIR
Baseline Check #5: Finish your assessment by considering these questions about what kind of energy is flowing through your home. You may need to re-source where the chi’ is coming from:
“How well am I taking care of myself? What changes in my environment would most help me during this transformation? How can I best stabilize the energy so that I can properly nourish myself?”
Hopefully, you’ve been writing all of this down… don’t worry if it doesn’t make sense. Intuitive information often doesn’t at first. However, you may very well have dreams and get deeper insights and understanding later.
Congratulations! You now have a lot more information about how Feng Shui for your home or office can help you ADAPT to change and create greater prosperity.
~ Contact Rheanni to help you go through an online exercise which will go into more depth about issues in your environment that may be affecting you without your conscious awareness ~
Some people don’t know that feng shui can also help you to correct instability and “take apart” destructive patterns that are causing you and your family harm. Those patterns may have been a part of the family dynamic for a very long time.
Once the imbalances are corrected in your environment, personal growth happens more easily and effectively. Good health is supported. Your sense of timing improves, chaos is reduced and changes in life direction are more easily achieved.
Going through this process can help you evaluate whether or not your home is providing a stable and healthy environment for you. Plus, you could get some inspiration or possible remedies to support your happiness.

Achieve Your Business Goals in 2020 Using Office Feng Shui ~
As your business changes and grows, it’s important to keep some fundamental principles about office Feng Shui in mind so that your goals for success are properly supported.
In this article I’m going to share several basic issues and remedies I often use when working with clients who want to know how to set up their office or studio space for success. Then, just for some added fun and insight, we’ll also use some Intuitive Learning Circles™to help you zero in on what your intuition says about the space you work in! – Rheanni Lightwater, Feng Shui Consultant
Principle #1: Productivity
A smart business owner or professional pays close attention to their office or workplace environment and uses proper input to increase productivity.
What are some of the things to think about? What would a Feng Shui expert ask you about your office space? Certainly, a reliable practitioner would want to find out if something about your office is keeping you from doing your best. It’s easy to get distracted by non-essential details. You can clarify that for yourself a bit by using the Mind Exercise below.
Take a break from your busy day, slow down and see your business environment as it is right now.
This Intuitive Learning Circle™ from Gifts from the Rainforest will help you slow down, tune into your intuitive senses and clarify what’s going on. Simply gaze softly at the Circle for a few moments with a soft gaze. Relax and allow your mind to to get still.
Use these positive affirmations while you take a few breaths:
“I slow down. I choose to be calm and centered.”
“I know what my primary business goals are.”
It often helps to imagine that everything is moving in slow motion. Once your mind has stopped chattering, you’ll be able to focus on your business priorities with greater accuracy. You might want to make some notes about what’s important.
Now, turn your attention to your actual, physical working environment as it is right now. Look around:
What is your overall impression?
Do you feel productive there? Do you feel comfortable?
Do you feel competent and empowered? If not, can you tell why not?
Does anything distract you?
If so, make a note of whatever distracts you and we’ll come back to it later.
Principle #2 Grounding
A smart business owner makes sure that they feel grounded in their working environment.
If your intentions aren’t grounded in your space, your success is being severely compromised. It’s wise to rectify this situation as soon as possible.
This is another Intuitive Learning Circle™ that’s about being grounded. Use it in the same way you used the previous Circle, except this time, make sure both feet are on the ground. Relax and gaze at the Circle with a soft focus while you review the intentions you just wrote down.
“I am well grounded in the intentions I have for my business.”
Now, ask yourself another set of questions:
“Is this building/room grounded?
Am I able to think clearly in my environment?
Do I easily get tossed around or overwhelmed?”
If you’re having a problem here, it’s a really good idea to get the room grounded. You can either get a professional help or you could try standing or sitting in the middle of the space and use this affirmation while you gaze quietly at the Reiki Chakra Key below:
“I am grounded in this space.”
Additional tips if you’re having trouble grounding:
I often use obsidian to keep spaces grounded here in the Southwest area of the United States. Find a good size rock and place it somewhere unobtrusive as close to the center of the room as is practical.
You may have your own favorite techniques for getting grounded. Go ahead and try them. You can confirm whether they’ve worked or not by looking at this Circle for Soul connection and asking:
“Is the space grounded now? If not, what would help?”
“Is there anything else my Soul would like me to know?”
A smart business owner makes sure that the decor in their working environment supports their intention.
If you own a restaurant, you’ll want it to have an atmosphere that suits the style of eating establishment you have in mind. The needs of a fast food deli, for instance, would be quite different from a place intended for fine dining. The same goes for every kind of business – if the atmosphere doesn’t “feel” right, its success will be compromised. Another suggestionThat’s one reason why it’s usually a very good idea to keep your home office out of your bedroom. Usually sleeping well and business productivity aren’t a good mix!
Sometimes it’s hard to know whether you’re on track, so here’s another Intuitive Learning Circle to help you tune into the overall “feel” of your working environment.
As you look at this Circle, imagine your space again in your mind’s eye, then ask yourself these questions:
“Does the decor support my true intentions for this business?”
“Am I feeling nurtured here? Do I feel stressed here? If so, why?”
“What might help me tap into the energy I need to attract business success?”
Remember if there’s anything about your office feng shui that’s creating disharmony, it will effect you negatively. Use Kuan Yin’s symbol for Restoring Peace in Your Environment to help you meditate on the changes that would help you. Ask yourself: “What needs to change?”
Consider moving, clearing or re-organizing whatever is distracting you.
If you’re still not feeling supported in your workplace, there could be many other possible reasons. Again, calling in a professional is probably a good idea, however, if you enjoyed playing Office Feng Shui, you could find some remedies at our online store, Feng Shui Healing Arts.

Learn How You Can Tap Into Your Second Chakra for Creating Internal Safety in Your Environment ~
The 2nd Chakra Is Deeply Connected with how well we Nurture and protect ourselves.
Your 2nd chakra is located approximately 2-3 inches directly down from your navel.
It’s the energy plexus where emotions, digestion and immunity all come together. When it gets out of balance or entangled with toxic pollutants, your physical, emotional and spiritual health can be impacted in a negative way.
Gaze softly at the Reiki Chakra Key below to help you balance and gather up physiological information that will help you organize your space in a way that helps you feel safe and healthy.
The environment in your second chakra is very important to your self-care and emotional healing. When it’s balanced and healthy, it transmits a vibrant orange energy that is hopeful and attracts belonging and support. It’s also your creative center, the place where you generate your personal mana or creative energy. If it becomes stagnant, goes into shock or gets caught up in emotional entanglements, your physical, emotional and spiritual health suffers. In today’s environment, that’s something many of us are experiencing. This simple feng shui exercise is designed to help you go within and come up with important resources for staying healthy.
When you’re ready, pull out a piece of paper and something to write with so you can make notes as we go along…
In Creating Internal Safety, you’ll be utilizing your intuitive insight to implement very simple changes that can make a world of difference in how you’re creating stability and safety in your personal space. You’ll discover that your intuition and unconscious mind are much more aware of whats going on than your conscious mind is!
Go through this mind exercise by reading each step and then gazing softly at the Circle that goes with it to gain insight about what creative changes you can make in your internal and/or external environment that will help you.
Step 1. The goal of Creating Internal Safety is for you to get clarity about how well your personal space is supporting you and what you can do to make improvements. You might get insights about your body or your external environment. After all, they are connected and this is an important time to become aware of them.
First, take some time to slow down while you gaze softly at the Circle. Breathe in and out several times. Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw.
Move around and stretch if you need to.
Once you’re feeling relaxed, bring to mind the space that you’re inquiring about.Imagine that it’s moving in slow motion.
Step 2. Next, shift your attention to your own body, imagine you can see the space within your Second Chakra (remember, that’s located about 2″ below your navel).
Zoom in, like a camera. See or sense it moving in slow motion.
What do you notice? Go ahead and make notes about what you sense.
Step 3. In response to sudden challenges we’ve experienced in our environment, let’s use one of our Chakra Healing Keys to repair any damage due to pollutants, smoke, viral or destructive energies, which could cause reversals, allergic reactions, addictions, deformations, reversals and misdirections.
Let this symbol help you make corrections. Relax and sense your overall energy. If it feels jagged or disjointed, stay with the Key until your energy smooths out.
“I repair the glitches, holes and blockagesin my chakra system.”
Do this both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.
Step 4. Now that you’ve cleared your internal energy up a bit first, you can get a better awareness of your external environment.
Feeling safe is a major priority. Innocent happenings such as loud noises, flashing lights, repetitive motion or high frequencies can cause unpleasant reactions in you without your being consciously aware of them. Gaze at this Circle and ask for help so you can get more aware.
Gaze at this Circle for Divine Protection and ask for help and advice.
Let’s start with very simple questions that we take one at a time…
Is there anything in your personal space or immediate environment that could be triggering an unsettling reaction in you? Is anything irritating?
Is there a flashing light? Sudden movements?
A sound? Are there disturbing frequencies?
Are toxic influences present? Anything else?
Step 5. You could be preoccupied by other things that are causing you to be anxious. You may be reorganizing your work/living arrangements or in the middle of a move or repairs. Let this Circle help you relax and answer questions about how you need to nurture yourself now, under your current circumstances.
Is there any clutter or something to let go of that would help ease the situation? If so, what is it and where is it located? Does something need to be added?
Are you tapping into nurturing, beneficial energies? If not, take a few moments with this Circle to help you do that.
Is there anything else?
Step 6. Physical objects in your environment carry a lot of energy through them, especially if they have been gifted to you or are second hand pieces. These could be books, equipment, furniture, pictures and other objects of art. Are there any objects in your home or office that are having a sharp or negative effect on you? If so, can you identify them?
What would remedy the situation?
Does something need to be moved, rearranged, cleaned or removed completely? Can something be brought in that would remedy the situation?
When dealing with emotional challenges, it’s often a great help to rearrange or clean out certain areas of the home – and that includes cleaning crystals. Read more about that here…
Step Seven: Since our recent transition out of the Piscean Age of Water into the Aquarian Age of Air, a new, generative form of life energy (chi’) has become available for us to use. Take several moments now to meditate on this symbol for you and your environment. Do that as often as you need to.
These positive affirmations will help:
“I access Divine Protection and close down all harmful energy channels left over from the old paradigm.”
My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force in the New Paradigm.”
Step Eight: Now is a good time to check back in with your body. Take a minute and use this next Circle to tune into yourself: What emotion(s) are running through you? Does that throw you off balance?
Is that dynamic helpful or harmful to you?
Step Nine: If it’s harmful, you might be internalizing an emotional complex – a compulsion, attitude, obsession or phobia from the collective unconscious.
If that’s happening, go through this short sequence to let it go. First, release your agreement to carry it any longer.
Let the energetic structure for it collapse and then visualize expelling the negative thoughts and emotions up to the Light.
By the way, there could be more than one. Check both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to get them all.
This symbol can help you clear any remaining toxins out of your second chakra. Focus in again on that area about 2″ down from your navel and repeat your visualization of sending the debris to the Light.
Continue until you feel quite clear.
Seal up any drains, leaks or holes in your energy field before you move on.
Step Ten: Now you can turn your attention back to your external environment. Is there anything else about it that’s irritating you?
Identify it if you can. What will remedy the situation?
Do you need to pull your energy back from external situations and events?
Are you inadvertently tapping into harmful or distracting energies?
If so, use the Circle to pull your energy back and close off destructive energies.
Is there anything else about that?
Step Eleven. Is there anything that you could bring into your space that would help you be happier, more hopeful or more creative?
Would anything increase your good health, emotional stability or physical security?
Could anything be done to increase your experience of prosperity?
What might you add that would bring more beauty into your space?
What vision or experience would you like to project out into the world?
Is there anything else you need to know?
Step 10. You can finish the game today by closing the doors that might keep you open to the suffering of the past and the old paradigm.
Remind yourself that your personal space belongs to you and how you take care of it has a profound effect on the rest of your life!
Congratulations! Thank yourself for taking the time to go through Creating Internal Safety – a gift that will make your life a whole lot better! Now is a good time to take a walk or go out into Nature to help this all integrate.
