There are two sides to this Circle. Take a few moments to evaluate your behavior. You have activated your spiritual will and are now moving toward a higher purpose for you and your world. You may want to revisit lost hopes and see if you desire to incorporate them back into your life.

The way to do this is to bring all levels of yourself into alignment with the truth by addressing the following forms of extravagance and ignorance:

  1. Complete unfinished business.
  2. Clear up debts that you owe or are owed.
  3. Speak up regarding issues that have been bothering you.
  4. Be done with petty dramas and ego games.
  5. Come back into your power.

If you do these things, you will set yourself right with the natural flow of the Universe. The ego may object, often very loudly, however you now recognize that the ego is not to be trusted when it comes to matters of integrity and/or personal power. These are significant blocks that have hindered inner transformation up until this point. If you ignore them, your energy will be drawn back into feeding negativity and fear.

Once you have re-channeled your energy to love, truth, and freedom, you will have new energy to accomplish your dreams.

You are dealing with your shadow side and healing disloyalty within yourself. Shed any lies that you may have been telling yourself. These lies come in the forms of denial, jealousy, judgment or vengeance, which have created imbalance and illness within you.

Shamans often refer to this kind of healing as “uncrossing your path”, and the truth is, we always do it to ourselves, usually by following someone else’s path, rather than our own. During this pandemic, we’re all learning what we need to do to take good care of ourselves. The path of MODERATION is often the key.

There is no shortage of information and advice out there about what we should and should not do to take care of ourselves. Early on in my experience as a medical intuitive, I discovered that there is no “one way” to protect ourselves or heal that works for everyone. We are all unique individuals with our own strengths, weaknesses and preferences – our own karma, if you will.

I also learned that what works today may not work tomorrow. That has to do with circumstances; something may have suddenly changed that has to be dealt with. A shock may cause you to loose your footing and get off balance. Or, there may be some other spiritual or emotional blockage that needs to be released before a clear solution can appear. There could be underlying toxins in the system, the timing may not be right or the body could be so challenged by something like the coronavirus that it’s unable to communicate properly.

So, given all the variables present in this extremely difficult time, how can you take good care of yourself?

“In difficult times, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where ‘The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.’ ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

The ancient Chinese text describes MODERATION as the best way to make progress by disengaging from harmful extremes and following the truth and guidance that comes from within. In almost any situation, if you’re able to walk a moderate and middle road, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

Finding Moderation and Following that Path ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is a sensible flow to follow whenever there’s so much chaos and confusion that it’s hard for you to tell what’s going on. In the midst of chaos, unpreferred karma (cause and effect) can be easily triggered. For many people, soul contracts have been completed and need to be released to prevent unnecessary health problems. Generally, people are probably either:

  1. Feeling threatened, at risk or censured,
  2. Stuck in the desire to return to the way things were,
  3. Caught in the chaos of things splitting apart, or
  4. Seeking harmony and balance by letting go of extremes.

As you softly gaze at this Circle that accesses karmic seeds, see if you’re currently experiencing one of these situations. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing situation #1, 2, 3 or 4?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Whatever it is, you can take good care of yourself by letting go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that’s causing you harm in any way. This game will help you do that. 


Let Go So You Can Bring In New Ways to Take Good Care of Yourself.

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. It can be helpful to imagine that each agreement is like a lock attached to every vertebrae of your spine. To let go, start at the bottom of the line and move up your spine – unlocking any harmful agreements as you go all the way to the top of your neck. Here are some examples:

“I unlock any agreement to sacrifice my health or place myself in harms way.”

“I let go of any lies, poor guidance or assumptions that block my ability to heal.”

“I discontinue activities or beliefs that put me at risk.”

“I release pathways, false concepts and patterns of behavior that lead to conflict, confusion, hardship, over-indulgence or ________, etc.”

 

Reclaim Your Power:

“I decide to gently integrate healthier patterns that upgrade my happiness and well-being – in accordance with my highest good.”

“I exist and am empowered to take good care of myself.”

Take all the time you need to really relax with this one.

 

Clear Out the Clutter:

This is a good opportunity to clear your inner garden of any outdated intentions or energies that interfere with your health or happiness.

As you look at this Reiki Key, allow your heart center to clear out any hurtful entanglements or conflicts. Include old energies or grievances with family, friends or business relationships. Clear out harmful agendas from social institutions, religious practices, cults or partisanships. Release attachments to completed projects, places you’ve lived, outmoded forms of transportation, communication, consumerism or business, etc.

By letting go of all that clutter, you free up a lot of energy that’s better spent on your health and vitality.

 

Make Commitments to Your Good Health and Well-being:

Because of the chaos involved, there aren’t many guarantees out there. Making any kind of reliable prediction is next to impossible. You’re going to need all the presence and energy you have to help you during times such as these. Gently look at the next Circle while you affirm these positive affirmations:

“My new agreement is to stay present in my body and follow my inner guidance – calmly and honestly.”

“I am flexible and able to adapt to what’s needed.”

“I notice disturbances in my health. I ask for and receive reliable help when I need it.”

“I make wise choices about my health and well-being.”

“I let go of ______.   I prepare for ______.

I take care of ______.   I am open to ______.”

 

Strengthen Your Energy Field:

“I decide to build an attraction field for _________, _________, _______.” Suggestions: excellent health, healthy boundaries, nourishment, equality, good company, cooperation, sustainable prosperity, etc.

 

Focus On Your Priorities:

Use this Circle to help you shift your focus to what really matters.

“I make a choice to focus my attention on hope, health, sustainable prosperity and ______________.”

 

Develop Healthy Reciprocity:

Take time to organize your energy properly so that you can manifest your intentions.

“I nurture my body, mind and spirit healthfully, in alignment with my highest good and my highest good is returned to me.”

 Once you feel in the flow, ask yourself: “Are there any habits or behaviors that would be helpful for me to change?”

 

Nourishment:

Consider how well you’re nourishing yourself and make notes so that you’ll remember.

“Are there any foods, especially herbs, teas, vegetables or fruits that would benefit me? Am I getting enough fresh water? Is there anything to stay away from?

Is there anything I’m consuming that’s causing a problem?”

“Am I approaching my circumstances correctly? If not, can I tell what’s needed?”

 

Oxygen:

Relax for a few minutes to consciously breathe and relax. Imagine what kind of exercise you could do that would be most helpful today.

“Am I getting enough oxygen through breathing, fresh air and exercise?”

Emotional Calm

“Do I need more relaxation? If so, what might help me?”

 

Sunlight:

Your body needs sunlight to stimulate good health and keep your immune system strong.

“Am I getting enough sunlight to make Vitamin D-3?”

“If not, what would help me with this?”

 

Evaluate Your Current Actions or Intentions.

“Are there any activities I’m planning that would be dangerous?”

If so, can I tell what they are? How can I follow a more MODERATE and beneficial path?”

 

Let Go of Destructive Patterns:

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of self-sabotage or any societal or familial pattern that still affects your health in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve destructive energy and any connection I have ever had to it.”

“I dissolve ___________________.”

Close the Pathways to Suffering:

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to  extremes, unnecessary suffering or danger.

“I decide to close the door on harmful pathways. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Ground:

In order to actualize the benefits of what you’ve done with this game, it’s important to get grounded. Put both feet on the ground and let this Circle help you get grounded in a new paradigm of equality, cooperation and sustainable prosperity.

 

Finish with Gratitude:

At this point, you’re probably feeling much calmer and more in balance. Finish with this affirmation:

“I am grounded in gratitude and appreciation for the help I receive.”

Feng Shui Tips for Handling Recent Changes in Your Environment:

When going through a radical change, it’s a great help to clean out certain areas of our homes and keep an eye on how well the energy is moving. While we’re rearranging things, we can reorganize our intentions to adapt to the changes in our environment and circumstances. When we take the time to do that, we’re allowing a physical and psychological space to open up for new things to come in and help us adjust both inwardly and outwardly.

Changes in Your Environment - Crystal CleansingFor example, I have a lot of crystals and objects that I consider sacred. I got a strong message that I need to regularly cleanse those crystals and rearrange other significant objects to accommodate the changes in the I Ching flow. Why is that so important? Because crystals and significant personal objects can hold onto a great deal of energy and old intentions.

In order to keep my mind and energy flexible, I don’t want to be held back by the gravity of those old energies. Also, I don’t want to be blocked by old intentions and outdated agreements that aren’t relevant anymore. They only perpetuate inner conflict or confusion!

A few months ago, when the pandemic started, I got the strong guidance to “change with the changes and still stay grounded.” In the early summer, my inner guidance was to “bring light and balanced prosperity into my mindset and environment.” Now the focus seems to be “I am firmly grounded in the new paradigm and have plenty of emotional support.” This are pretty big changes, and I’m sure there will be many more to come!

Big changes in your environment can be supported with the help of Reiki, strong intention and clear crystals.

To cleanse crystals, I gather them up from around my house and property and then place them in a bowl of water mixed with sea salt. Around the full moon, I’m guided to set them outside for a day or two to cleanse. That way, they will get really clear through an infusion of both Sun and Moon light. Then, I set new intentions with those crystals, based on what is needed now.

Notice that I didn’t say, “please keep the coronavirus away,” or “please be sure that civil war doesn’t break out.” If I were to set intentions based on things I don’t want to happen, my whole mindset would start to unconsciously fixate on all the uncertainty and fear that these things attract. To make things even worse, the energy in my environment should start to organize around the fixation. That’s exactly opposite of what I want!

So, when I set intentions in turbulent times, I calm myself down first. Once the shock is abated and my mind is clear of anxiety, I ask for a life affirming experience that’s general enough to allow positive change to occur and that makes sense under my current circumstances. That part is especially important since we know the changes we’re going through are liable to continue for some time. Then, I set up the energy in my living space to organize around the new intention by mindfully placing the crystals and/or sacred objects as I’m guided.

Transformation Game - Balance Your Crown ChakraThe crown chakra is located on the crown or top of the head. When clear, this energetic wheel of light vibrates with the colors white and/or gold and influences the entire endocrine system via the pineal gland. If you can open and balance your Crown Chakra, you’re keeping an important link with your spiritual essence clear.

Not only that, when your Crown Chakra is open and integrating well with the rest of your body, you can tap into how you manage your natural cycles, hormones and rhythms that govern self-care and improve sleep.

These are all ingredients for a life affirming, peaceful state of mind.

Unfortunately, the proliferation of harmful toxins and electro-magnetic frequencies in our environment can clog up important energy centers. If you’ve been having trouble with your sleep or connecting with your inner guidance, you can go through this chakra meditation to help you let go of those toxins.

This sequence of Intuitive Learning Circles can help you balance your crown chakra and recalibrate your energy to function better in the New Paradigm!

Begin with this Reiki Chakra Key for the five senses, which will help bring your perception of things into greater balance. Use these positive affirmations:

Next, open and balance your Third Chakra located in your solar plexus, the area in front where your ribs go up.

Reiki Chakra Key - Solar PlexusYour Psyche or Essential Self resides most effectively in your Third Chakra. This is the place where it can most effectively connect with the rest of your body. The existence of the Essential Self is discussed in many cultures and disciplines. Other names would be your Inner Child, the Authentic Self, the Golden Child or the Basic Self. Regardless of what it’s called, you can think of it as your gut instincts or “I am” essence. 

Keeping this “home space” clear and open is important, so take all the time you need!

 

Now that your Essence is present, let’s see if you can gently open and balance your Fourth or Heart Chakra. Begin by gazing softly at the Reiki Chakra Key below for a minute or so.

When your heart center is open and balanced, you can naturally feel the energy radiating out into the world. You are a light in this world!

 

Next, open and align your Master Chakras with your Heart Chakra. This will help to clarify and empower your intentions.

 

Now it’s time to open and balance your Crown Chakra. Gaze softly at the Reiki Chakra Key below for a minute or two. When it feels like the energy is moving, actively imagine a channel opening up at the very top of your head – like a fountain, letting go of any blockage and interference that may be there.

“I decide to open my Crown Chakra and bring it into balance.”

Balance your crown chakra

Once the initial rush of energy is released at the Crown, the fountain will naturally subside. Once you sense that happening, imagine fresh energy flowing down into the Chakras below.

 

Let’s not forget to open and balance the chakras for your pineal gland itself (every gland, organ and joint has at least one chakra). The pineal gland produces melatonin, which helps maintain the sleep-wake cycle known as the circadian rhythm and regulate reproductive hormones. Be patient with this one because pineal glands often get clogged up with toxic residue.

“I relax and let my pineal gland relax and clear itself out.

 

Now let’s strengthen and reweave the subtle hara lines that connect all these chakras like a beautiful web of light!

 

To finish this section, clear harmful thoughts and clutter out of the landscape of your mind. Imagine they’re like leftover garbage and you can simply sweep them all away!

Decide that you will no longer allow others to dump their garbage into your mind.

 

Congratulations! You’ve cleared and balanced your Crown Chakra and associated energy fields. Now you’ve set yourself up to function more effectively in the New Paradigm and shift your consciousness to accommodate your new intentions.

 

 

The following extra-intuitive activities aren’t required, but they can really help you excel in creating the very best of your talents, interests and passions…

The energy is changing! We’re moving from the Piscean Age (water) into the Aquarian (air), which works quite differently from what we’re used to.

You may need to release some agreements that are preventing you from ADAPTING to the changes. Use this Soul Contract Circle to identify and release conditioning that contributes to struggling, being fearful or out of balance. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you use the affirmations. Actively imagine those old contracts burning up as you go through this process.

Take several minutes to gaze softly at #32 Condor from Gifts from the Rainforest. This Circle can help you de-magnetize static that contributes to over-thinking, fixations, conflicts or irritation.

“I relax and allow the stress to melt away with every breath I take.”

Transformation Game - Staying Empowered

Staying Empowered (even when things are falling apart) ~

“If you’re experiencing a situation where there’s a great deal of societal upheaval and discord, the situation may well be in the flow of the I Ching Hexagram #23 – DETERIORATION. Other signs or symptoms would include:

  • incompetence,
  • arguments,
  • blow ups and break ups,
  • power grabs or
  • illness due to being in a toxic environment.

If this fits what you’re going through, be extra cautious about how you spend your energy, time or money. Reckless expenditures, whether they be financial, emotional or spiritual, are much more likely to result in loss at this time. 

The best thing to do when dealing with deteriorating situations is to step back and get perspective from your Soul. Take care of yourself very sensibly and examine your reactions carefully. Be generous and kind to those you care about.

Remember that confusion is the ideal atmosphere for tricksters, abusers and despots. The ego runs rampant and doesn’t want to let go. Meditate, gather  and remind yourself that all things must end. There will eventually come a change for the better. 

If you deal with DETERIORATION with an attitude of revenge or resentment, you will deplete yourself by giving the situation more fuel, which is probably exactly the reaction your ego wants. Your good intentions are better served by keeping yourself centered and grounded.

Gently gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles™ one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This self-care process helps you to become aware of what’s bothering you, so that you can make a different choice about how to use your energy more productively and in tune with your Inner Guidance.

 Step 1:

What is a situation around you now that is in the flow of DETERIORATION? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

 

Step 2:

What truth are you having trouble communicating in this situation?

Step 3:

What is the feeling that tends to pull you into that situation?

G 39 Emotional Healing

Once you’ve identified what you’re feeling, take a moment and relax into it.

“I accept that this feeling is present and that eventually it will change. All things change eventually.”

The more you relax and accept, the faster and easier it will be for you to make corrections on the deeper levels you’re looking for.

Step 4:

Epigenetic Healing - Divine Nature ActivatedThe next few symbols are from Divine Nature Activated and will help you release negative conditioning and stimulate some epigenetic healing. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is relaxing, healing and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe as you use each affirmation:

“I let go of seeing myself as weak or powerless. I reclaim and maintain my connection to the Divine.”

 

 “I let go of rigid ideas that have changed or proven to be false. I don’t have to be right.” 

“I let go of needing to control the situation so that I can focus on solutions that are truthful and serve my highest good.”

 

“I let go of societal patterns of fear, violence and corruption. I hold the victory of love in mind.”

DNA - Guidance from Angelic Realms

 

“I see myself outside of the pattern of intolerance. I acknowledge and respect my fellow brothers and sisters.”

 

“I ask the Divine to lead me to common ground.”

 

Step 5:

Now that you’ve cleared that energy, ask your inner guidance:

“Are there any aspects of me that have become scattered or disempowered?”

If there are, call them back now.

 

Step 6:

It’s time to get more present and heart centered: 

“I am fully present inside my body. I organize my awareness around ________.”

 

“The light in my heart center is strong and radiating out into the world.”

If you’re having trouble, it can help to take several deep breaths. Inhale on the count of 4. Exhale on the count of six. Open and close your fingers. If you feel a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #4 and repeat the process of relaxing and dissipating the negative DNA patterns.

 

Step 7:

Now that you’re fully present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me with staying empowered?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

 

 Step 8:

Staying empowered is much easier when you don’t let things stick to you. Consciously let go of any issues that aren’t yours and peel off any sticky energy that comes from your deteriorating situation.

“I let go of whatever doesn’t belong to me. I send it back to where it needs to go to resolve itself.”

 

Step 9:

Dissolve destructive blueprints using these affirmations:

“I allow my mind to let go of any attachments to the past or the future that I’m still holding onto. I see those patterns like dark clouds dissolving into a clear, blue sky.”

“I dissolve negative templates, attitudes and behaviors that cause me harm.”

 

Step 10. AurasThis is the final step to your game, but it’s very important!

You will want to keep your auras close to your body whenever you want to stay empowered. That’s because your auras provide protection. When they’re strong and focused, they can repel toxicity and keep your energy from mixing up with other people.

So, to finish this game, gaze softly at this Circle for as long as you need to repair and refocus them. Use this affirmation if you like:

“My auras are very strong and focused. I naturally keep them close to my body.”

Staying empowered is essential in times of DETERIORATION. Remember the transformation isn’t complete until you’ve taken the action you were guided to take in Step #7. You could say that heartfelt communication is something many people would like to achieve. In the best of times it happens naturally by opening your heart and listening to its promptings. Unfortunately, when life takes a difficult turn or tragedy happens, the heart and throat centers can shut down, leading you to feel cut off and at a loss for words. Repeated trauma and other violations of the spirit take their toll. Perhaps it’s the shock of disappointment or the panic one feels when the world gets turned upside down. The message of Electric Eel is always about grounding. Being grounded in the truth about who we are and what we’re doing. Use this medicine to scan your body and pay attention to any areas that feel blank or void when it comes to communicating with this person or group. Once you feel the blank area, Electric Eel will help you fill in the void with positive energy and purpose. It can also help you change the polarity of your throat and heart chakras so that they can open up again.

Once you feel more open and grounded, look at what you wrote down. Is this really what you want to communicate?

Do you think that this message, as it is, will evoke the response you’re really looking for?

Step Three:

Are you coming from a place of open, constructive communication? if not, relax and breathe for a couple of minutes. Utilize the medicine of Plant Spirits to help you come from a more natural, nourishing frame of mind. After all, what you put out comes back to you! It’s worth it to take a few extra moments to clear the air.

Once you’re more balanced, think again about what you want to communicate and how you might do that more effectively.

Visualize any harmful seeds moving up, out and away from you… send them to the Sun to be transformed!

Once you’ve released the negative epigenetic conditioning, be sure to refocus and strengthen your auras using this Circle. Your auras protect you and are an important part of your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Take all the time you need using these affirmations:

“I decide to take good care of myself and ___________.”

“My auras are completely repaired and refocused. I strengthen my mental capacity for heartfelt communication.”

Step Five:

Dissolve any destructive mental, emotional or spiritual blueprints that you may have for harmful or ineffective communication with this symbol.

“I dissolve destructive patterns for harmful communication and any connection I have ever had to them.”

You can see them dissolving like dark clouds, dissipating into the pure light of the Sun.


“I close the doors to any harmful or manipulative communications.”

Step Six:

Now you’re ready to reform and clarify your message! Starlight aligns our individual consciousness with Universal Truth to achieve clarity and order. This medicine supports compassionate action, clarity of direction and alignment with your spirit. I Ching Transformation Game - Nourishing

Did you know that your body knows a lot about what it needs and how well you’re nourishing yourself?

Section One: Physical and Emotional Nourishment

For example, your second chakra is deeply connected to your emotions, your digestion and immunity. It has a lot of information about how you’re NOURISHING yourself on these levels and what you might do to improve. However, during times of high stress or illness, communication can get blocked from your conscious awareness, making it hard to hear what your body is trying to tell you. Take a moment and relax with this Reiki Chakra Key for your Second Chakra to help you tune in and listen. Use the affirmations if they help or come up with one of your own.

“I allow free flowing energy in my Second Chakra.”

“I get clear information about my health and how well I’m nourishing myself.”

 

There are several ways that the Second Chakra can get blocked. One is inappropriate nourishment. Perhaps you’re eating the wrong foods for you at this time or you could have gotten exposed to toxins in your environment, including chemicals, electro-magnetics, illness or other destructive energies!

 

There might also be some kind of karmic entanglement, an emotional conflict or outright danger in your environment. Could any of those issues be present for you right now?

 

You could also be over indulging in something that is generally good for you when taken in moderate amounts.

To better determine if something like that is happening with you, experiment with one of our Intuitive Learning Circles™ for slowing down and focusing on what’s really important.

“I slow down and focus on my basic needs.”

 

So, how are you seeing your needs? You can use Maslov’s Hierarchy of Needs as a model to help you assess your priorities. Are they in balance?

The triangle may be upside down or out of focus. The levels could be out of order or missing entirely. It might not even seem that it fits at all! Use the symbol to the right of the pyramid to help you set things right.

“I set things right so that how I nourish myself physically and emotionally actually fits my current needs.”

 

 

You may need to change some agreements about how you prioritize your needs. For example, do you have an unconscious agreement to sacrifice your health or wellbeing for others. It’s fine, of course, to choose to do that. However, it’s a different matter if you’re sacrificing yourself against your will! See any agreements that contradict your free will burning up in a beautiful violet flame.

“I let go of unconsciously sacrificing any part of my health or wellbeing.” 

“I am willing to find other ways to be helpful.”

Make other new agreements that would be helpful to you now…

 

Evaluate How You Are Nourishing Yourself.

Now that your priorities are clearer, you can get more accurate information about how to nourish yourself. If you follow the directions, you can get all kinds of answers that could really help out. All you have to do is relax and gaze softly at the center open space of this Circle while you ask yourself a few questions. Use a scale of one to ten to evaluate what’s going on (one being lousy and ten being great!). Be sure to listen to your body and be receptive to the answers that come.

Use a scale of “One “to “Ten”:

“How am I nourishing myself nutritionally? Am I taking in too much of something? Is there something I’m not getting enough of? Is there something I need to put some LIMITATIONS on?

How about emotionally?

What about nourishing my spiritual Self?

Am I giving myself helpful mental nourishment?

How well am I taking care of my body’s needs for exercise, rest, fresh air?

 

“Am I missing anything? What could I really use?”

“What do I need to do to put this all together?”

Congratulations! In this first section we wanted to clear things up enough for you to get a general picture of how you’re nourishing yourself. In the next section we’re going to take a look at how some of your projects are nourishing you!


 Section Two: Nourishing Yourself with Healthy, Supportive Projects.

There’s another chakra that taps into the wisdom of your Soul called the Third Eye Chakra. Through it, your mind can communicate meaningful insights to you. Use these affirmations to help you open up:

“My mind is connected and balanced.”

“I receive meaningful information about ____________.”

“My mind helps me to find appropriate nourishment from joyful, supportive projects.”

 

Think about a project you’re currently involved in that concerns you. Perhaps there’s a great deal of emotional drama involved with it or the environment may be troubling for you in some way. See if this next Circle can help you gather up your impressions about the situation and bring your concerns into a clearer awareness.

What emotions do you pick up? What do you notice about the environment around your project? 

 

Is this project genuinely beneficial to you now? Could it be?

What do you need to change about how you’re nourishing yourself?

 

Is there anything you’re making up about yourself or the situation that needs to change?

Objective Observation – Is Seeing Really Believing

This Mind Exercise* is about how to develop objective observation. Let’s start with an explanation of observation that I like to use:

“Observation is what is actually seen and experienced in person. Not what is felt or heard second hand. It has the power to transform when kept objective. However, things are not always as they appear. What is seen can be taken out of context, muddled, manipulated or rigged, especially in today’s high tech world. Misuse of observation causes people to jump to conclusions and is the source of propaganda, hoaxes, false advertising and bad TV sit-coms. The concept of “seeing is believing” creates assumptions. 

The mind identifies things by comparing them to accepted data from the past. If you have no frame of reference to understand what you observe, your mind will try to fit it into a familiar scenario where the logic will then attempt to formulate an explanation. That process frequently lacks objectivity, which can lead us to incorrect conclusions.

Possibly, that’s the source of the old saying, “to err is to be human.” It’s also uniquely human to self-correct by developing new skills.”

All you have to do is read the instructions and then follow through on the directions while you gaze softly at the Circle.


Step One: Pick a significant experience you have witnessed that concerns you. Place what you saw in the center open space of this Circle. What do you know about this? Gather up the facts that you have from this experience.

It will help to imagine you can bring all the energy into focus on the center, open space of each Intuitive Learning Circle™.

 

Step Two: Bring your Rational Thought Chakras into balance and proper connection with your Soul. These chakras correspond with your five senses.

 

Step Three: Go back to the experience and gather up more objective observation about it. What was happening? What was being done? Or what were others trying to do? Do your best to stick with what you actually saw, not what you make up about what might have been happening.

You can check your facts if need be. Can you observe additional factors?

 

Step Four: Use this symbol to help you clear away some of the emotional or mental clutter. You can visualize it as busy thoughts or numbers, actual objects or smoke clearing out of your mind. Take all the time you need and remember the experience from different angles until you feel the clutter has lifted.

 

Step Five: Now that some of the smoke is cleared and you can think more clearly about the experience, were you personally holding any particular intention or wish? If so, what was it?

When it comes to others that you observed first hand, were there opposing goals? If so, what were they?

 

Step Six: From what you saw, what did you observe in their behavior?

 

Step Seven: It’s important to keep to the facts. You cannot know for sure what their motivations were, you only know what you saw and what has been stated, either verbally or in written form. Clear away your personal opinions, agendas and prejudices.

Imagine you can use this Circle to help you sift through your impressions and sweep away the extra garbage and distractions from your mind.

 

Step Eight: Let the energy of your Third Eye focus in on the experience. In this quiet place, what insights can you open up to? What is your inner guidance?

Can you get insights about the overall situation? What do you notice about:

  • The environment and the energy in it?
  • Who was holding the power and did it shift?
  • The outcome; for example, is the outcome complete or still ongoing?
  • Is there still an opening for change to occur?
  • What else catches your attention?

 

Step Nine: Connect understanding by visualizing “balance” in the center open space of this Circle. Imagine the energy of wisdom and justice flowing along the lines towards “balance”.

Might you have jumped to any conclusions in this experience? If so, what would be a better course of action?

What was happening to you during the experience? Notice what your energy was like. What can you do now to benefit yourself and/or your position?

 

Step Ten: What is your conclusion, i.e. what do you understand now about this experience? What do you observe in yourself? Is there something you would like to improve?

Once you get a heartfelt answer, Congratulations! You might want to make a note of what you’ve observed.

Future Pacing

In our hypnotherapy and energy medicine classes, we talk about the importance of future pacing. What is that?

Future pacing is a way to deepen the effects of any mind body healing by projecting a preferred outcome into the future. Let’s use that idea to solidify what you’ve just learned about how to be more intuitive.

Observation out of balance

Observation out of balance is about preventing mistakes rather than going for balance or joy.

Let’s see what we can do to learn from what we’ve observed and use it to create a more balanced, joyful future!

Imagine that you can access your beneficial karma for this situation and being a better observer. Gather all your good deeds in the center, blank area of this Circle.

“I gather up my beneficial karma like seeds and nourish them in my personal garden.”

“I let others deal with their own karma, while I focus on mine.”

 

Completion

The mind intuitively appreciates closure. Let’s get grounded in a new paradigm of equality and mutual cooperation before we complete this mind exercise!

Place both feet on the floor and put your hands on your knees if you can. Gaze softly at the Circle and repeat the affirmation until you feel your body has fully settled in the present.

“I am grounded in the present.”

 

Affirm to yourself:

“I release any agreement I have to internalize what I experience or let it get under my skin. Now, in the past or in the future. 

I am an objective observer.”
