The I Ching

I Ching Workbook - R. L. WingThe original intent of the I Ching was based on an Eastern philosophy of observation and marking changes in natural and human events. Through many centuries and contributions from shamans and master teachers, including Lau Tzu and Confucius, the Book of Change was developed into a full philosophy for applying beneficial human conduct to varying circumstances. The Art of Feng Shui is part of that philosophy.

Exploring the Central Energy for the Year

2021 is a number five year (2 + 0 + 2 + 1 = 5) and is represented in the Tarot by Major Arcana cards #V the Hierophant and #14 (1 + 4 = 5) Temperance.

The number 5 is about the five senses and our ability as humans to use them to navigate experience. Our senses are integral to intuition, but must be in balance in order to discern Inner Truth. Intuition is above reason, but never contrary to it. Failure to recognize the difference results in wishful thinking based on false reasoning. As such, the Hierophant is a card about choices, authority and the ethics or morals involved with those choices.

2021 Major Arcana Tarot - Liberation

The number 14 represents wholeness, unity, perfect order and permanence – providing a whole foundation. The meanings of the Temperance Card are patience, mental equilibrium and finding the Middle Way through balance. The confluence of these two archetypes is bringing the polarized and delusional thinking of the Collective ever more into the forefront of our experience. Will we choose to LIBERATE ourselves? Or will we stay stuck, out of balance and in distress?

Correct activation and focus of the Third Eye Chakra will assist us in striking the needed balance.

The Chinese Zodiac

Todays Intuitive Reading - The Year of the OXThe Zodiac animal that has settled in since February 12th, 2021 is the auspicious Yin Metal OX. On the plus side, her energy evokes strength, devotion, hard work, honesty and positivity. This is great because we’re going to need all the help we can get on those fronts. Thank goodness we’re done with the scurrying, evasive Rat energy of last year!

However, making the adjustment from one to the other can be a challenge, especially if the more bullish aspect of the Ox is showing itself through stubborn, overly prudent or cautious behavior. There might be resistance to change by blocking things that could actually help. Not only will we encounter more obstinance in our interactions with others, but reversed Oxen energy could influence an introverted or shy person to be even more so than normal. That means that the quality of our response (our personal responsibility) becomes a critical factor in how well the situation resolves itself.

If you are experiencing a lot of resistance or gridlock, check yourself for internal misunderstandings, misinformation or miscommunication. Greed, poor boundaries and communication issues are just a few of the irritants that could keep you stuck in the mud this year. In those situations, you may be tempted to pit your stubborn Ox energy against the stubborn Ox energy of another. This tactic will only dig you deeper into the problem. You might also be tempted to retreat into the shadows to lick your past wounds and insecurities. Both of these old behaviors and identities will not help you anymore. It’s far wiser to devote the Ox’s energy toward accomplishing your own goals through clear communication and Right Action. If a workable compromise isn’t forthcoming, move on with strength and determination that comes from within.

For those who can properly harness her energy, Madame Ox can be a true friend because of her hardworking character and sturdiness. 


The I Ching – March 9th – April 4th, 2021 – Liberation.

The energy flow from the Book of Change shifted from Hexagram #45 ASSEMBLING to #40 LIBERATION with a brief touch down in Hexagram #6 CONFLICT between March 4th and 9th. Because of that, it’s especially important to make sure you aren’t taking on anyone else’s issues, karma or conflicts. During times of political or social unrest, it’s very common for disgruntled people and organizations to try to dump their problems and the karma associated with them onto others. Sadly, that scenario is happening now in an effort to avoid responsibility for a multitude of illegal and unethical actions. If you suspect you’re involved with something like that, there are several Mind Exercises and Transformation Games listed in the Resources section of this reading.

Consciously utilize the strength and persistence of the Ox to help you facilitate your freedom from these types of confusion and interference. Harness all of the energy available to you with your inner wisdom and LIBERATE yourself. As Kuan Yin has said, many times, “Know what you want, know what makes you feel good about your Self, know what brings you into harmony with others. These are your guidelines and principles.” Through affirmative action and courage, your Soul can place you on your intended path and help you find the resources needed.

(DELIVERANCE)

“Anxiety and strife will give way if you take firm, aggressive action now. Just as a thunderstorm releases tension in the atmosphere, it is time to clear the air of mistakes and resentment. This should be done decisively and without hesitation in an attempt to return the situation to normal as soon as possible. The timely execution of a LIBERATION from difficulty is essential to success.

The solution to annoying political problems are no longer elusive. It is within your power now to resolve issues that have blocked your progress. Deal with them expediently. When it is possible to overlook past errors and forgive transgressions, do so, for the sooner the tensions are relieved the better for all concerned. If you should find yourself in the midst of an intolerable situation or intrigue, then perhaps the time has come to depart from the situation entirely. Whatever course you take, act quickly. Do not linger in the difficulties. A timely LIBERATION from the stresses that occur in matters of power will bring good fortune.

Persons and problems that have consistently stood in the way of business endeavors can now be bypassed. Many of your past difficulties should resolve themselves with ease, providing you with a sense of relief. Let them go and do not seek retribution. Your concern should lie in returning your affairs to their regular and intended pattern.

Your relations with others should become less rigid as tensions are relieved and a refreshing sense of LIBERATION replaces anxieties. You may now successfully resolve complications brought about by adverse social arrangements. This should be done without delay and with no show of emotionalism. There is no reason to dwell petulantly upon the past or glory in your newfound LIBERATION. Do what you must quickly and quietly, and carry on with your affairs.

Times of tension and anxiety are passing in your personal relationships as well. Take this opportunity to put the past behind you. This LIBERATION from emotional complications and adversity can give you a fresh new start with your loved one. You may, in fact, find the present time unusually erotic.

When LIBERATION is complete, when the tensions of the storm have passed, your spirit will be refreshed and stimulated. The ground will be cleared for new growth, and the future will appear promising. And, once you finally dispense with emotional ruts or resentments from former times, you will have an excellent opportunity for personal advancement. Overall, you should feel increased energy and clarity in your dealings with the outside world.

K’AN, difficulty, in the lower trigram stimulates into activity CHEN, arousing movement, in the upper realm. Such a reaction brings good fortune. When none of the lines are moving, it signals an internal process of LIBERATION. It may be the passing of an unhealthy habit or pattern of behavior. Perhaps you will discard a shortsighted opinion that has stifled your growth or an unrealistic obsession that consumes your energies. During this fast moving year, the collective karma for illness, lack of personal responsibility and unhealthy patterns of neglect have been fully activated and they’re not just going to go away because we’re in a New Year. Hopefully we’ve learned something from it!

The animal coming in is the auspicious Yin Metal OX, symbolizing strength, hard work, honesty and positivity. Concerns during the transition continue to revolve around keeping your environment clean, your thinking clear and your heart strong. 

December 27th, 2020 – January 12th, 2021 Intuitive Reading from the I Ching or Book of Change – Adapting.

Kuan Yin has been helping us through these readings and games to transition from the old paradigm based on greed and fear to a New Paradigm of co-operation, equality and sustainable prosperity. Some say that this is the official start of the Aquarian Age.

Her advice springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of divination that follows the flow of the cosmos. Because of that, her advice and instruction comes from a different perspective than ours.


Adapting to Change - Todays Intuitive Reading“Since the Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction on the Solstice, you have been ADAPTING to change on many levels. A change of season. A change in your collective mindset. A change that follows the flow of the Universe.

On the physical plane, you have been separated from the usual common activities that you hold dear. This sequestration is a requirement – not by some political agenda or conspiracy, but by the forces of Nature, whose will is being carried out regardless of how you feel about it!

Take heart and be patient. If you’ve been looking upon it as unfair, you are making the situation more difficult than it has to be. 

In your seclusion, you have had many opportunities to reform yourselves and ADAPT to sweeping change in fundamental ways. It is now time to take action on those changes if you genuinely want to change the direction of your collective society. 
“The process of letting go can be difficult, but if we refuse to let go of something that’s already left, we are courting disaster.”

The path that Humanity has been on is filled with dead ends, tangles and irreconcilable differences. You may say, “the path can be altered.” To that, the Universe replies, “the path itself is untenable and can no longer be supported.” You must change the path you’re traveling on and the time is now.

Let me say it again. The path your society has been traveling on is a dead end. 
The good news is that a new path has opened, is taking form and available to ground in. It promises to be a rough transition, but not impossible.
This is a vulnerable time and whether you feel ready or not, you are being called upon to ADAPT to this new path and energy in significant ways. If you are choosing patience, courage and caution, your journey will go much easier.”

“When autumn approaches, all of life that continues to survive begins an adaptation to the season. The pelts of animals begin to thicken in anticipation of the winter, while the seeds of plants scatter themselves in autumn winds to await the spring. The bark of the tree increases to protect itself from the cold, while insects may burrow deep inside to hibernate. By ADAPTING to the forces, life is protected as it rests and restores itself for new activity.

ADAPTING is knowing when to act and when to rest, when to speak and when to be silent. The nature of this hexagram is compared to the time of autumn when activity ebbs and rest begins. This is not a restraint, for there is no stress involved. It is instead a peaceful, accepting frame of mind willing to adjust to the existing forces. You should now concern yourself with doing the best you possibly can under the circumstances. Leave the control of the situation to others. Even if you feel you possess the strength to alter events, it is in your best interests to remain low. True power lies in serving others, and with such behavior comes progress and success.

In worldly matters, only leaders who adapt their vision to the sentiments of society will be followed. If their ideals are too far from the popular mainstream of reality, if they are not ADAPTING their product or service in the interests of the times, then following them can lead to danger. However, if their goals are harmonious with the times, you may commit yourself to their leadership. When you follow another, you may relax and restore yourself.

Try to be flexible in your social and personal relationships and, if necessary, subordinate yourself. It is correct to adapt to the situation presented now, for this is the only way that there will be favorable progress. Do not waste your energies struggling against the predominant forces. Instead, make your relationships as rewarding as possible by ADAPTING yourself to the current mood.

Rid yourself of old prejudices and opinions that may be controlling your behavior and holding you back. If your goals and principles are not consonant with those of your society, then you must make an adjustment in yourself. Your progress now depends upon the reality of your milieu. You may live by your own rules in your own home, but once outside, you must adapt. By ADAPTING to the realities around you at this time, you will find peace of mind and success.

Letting Go and Moving On

Help for Moving On from Deteriorating Relationships

Transformation Game - Moving OnMany people are having a difficult time getting grounded and staying clear in the New Paradigm of cooperation and equality because they are getting pulled out of the present by emotional attachments to the past. You can get centered and remedy this situation by going through  Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading for moving on.

“If you are experiencing a situation where there is:

  • a great deal of incompetence
  • argumentative persons
  • societal discord
  • a break up in friendship or family relations
  • refusal to participate in cooperative ventures or
  • depressed health due to a toxic environment

The situation is definitely in the flow of the I Ching Hexagram #23 – DETERIORATION.

In cases such as these, forceful displays of power will absolutely backfire. Stay strong within yourself. Do nothing to push your personal agenda regarding this particular situation and be very conservative with any investment of time or money. Doing so would probably result in loss.

The best things to do when dealing with DETERIORATING situations is to take care of yourself very sensibly and to find acceptance of the times within yourself. Be generous and kind to those you care about. Keep your focus on important opportunities that are available to you now.

Keep emotional reactions to a minimum and refrain from jumping to conclusions. Meditate, surrender to the fact that all things must end. Know that eventually there will come a change for the better.

If you deal with a situation of DETERIORATION with an attitude of “I’m going to fix this” or “I need to understand why these people are thinking or behaving this way,” notice how you’re actually giving the situation more fuel, rather than letting nature take its course. It could be your attachment to the situation that’s keeping it from dying out on its own. When you let go, Nature can take its course. In most cases, the negativity will feed on itself and die out naturally. 

Here’s some help through a Transformation Game called “Letting Go and Moving On.”

Gently gaze at these Intuitive Learning Circles one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This process helps you to become aware of what’s bothering you, so that you can make a different choice to use your energy more productively and in tune with your Inner Guidance.

 Step 1:

What is a relationship around you now that is DETERIORATING? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

Step 2:

Enhance your inner guidance by calming your senses and bringing them into balance. Some may be turned up too high and some may be too low. Relax and allow your eyes to rest gently on the Circle below.

Mind Body IntegrationTake some deep breaths and let your shoulders drop. Adjust the volume to your senses. Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to achieve greater mind body integration.

 

Step 3:

What is the emotion that tends to pull you into that energy?

Once you have identified what you’re feeling, take a moment and just relax into it. Could it be a phobia, an obsession or a compulsion?

“I accept that this emotional state is present and that it must change. All things eventually change.”

If you can, rub your shoulders and neck for a minute or two. The more you relax and accept what you’re feeling, the easier it will release and dissipate.

 

Step 4:

Release your agreement to remain connected with that energy or the emotions it transmits.

“I detach from energy imprints that are foreign or harmful to me.”

“I send them to the Sun where they can safely be transmuted.”

 

Step 5:

Bring your awareness now to your body. Go to your solar plexus area and open your third chakra, the home to your Essence and “gut instincts.”  

Let go of any toxic energy and bring the chakra into balance.

 

Step 6:

Bring your awareness to your Heart Center. Allow this Reiki Chakra Key to open and balance it.

Keep relaxing and breathing into it. Eventually, you will be able to feel life energy radiating out. The light of your Heart Chakra is shining!

 

Step 7.

Gaze softly at this Circle that connects you with the energy and empowerment of your Soul. Imagine that your energy system can adapt to the changes that are needed. Continue to relax and breathe as you use this affirmation:

“When it comes to the situation of _________, I exist and am empowered to manifest my highest good.”

 

Step 8:

Allow yourself to connect with your Soul’s unique vibration and energy. Continue to relax and breathe as you use this affirmation:

“I am resonating with the vibration of my Soul.”

“I strengthen my unique gifts and talents.”

 

Step 9:

Align with your Soul’s unique energy signature. Reclaim the air of confidence and sincerity that is your birthright!

“I release all agreements to carry signatures that are not from my Soul.” 

“I erase all false signatures like graffiti from a wall so that I may live in peace and prosperity.”

“I am aligned with the unique energy signature of my Soul.”

 

Step 10:

Consciously close down any destructive energy channels that are coming from the DETERIORATING situation.

“My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”

 

Step 11.

Now, get fully present. Use this affirmation to help you:

“I live in the present and deal with what is.”

If you’re having trouble getting present, it can help to close your fingers into fists and open them again, several times. If you get overwhelmed or feel a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #2 and repeat the process to relax and dissipate the emotion.

 

Step 12:

Now that you are present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me to move on?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

 

Step 13:

Consciously re-direct your energy and attention toward a situation you want to encourage instead. Move your attention and energy away from the DETERIORATING situation.

“I turn my energy toward  productive activities and plans.”

 

Step 14:

Use this symbol to consciously release any remaining mental, emotional or spiritual baggage that is interfering with your freedom. 

You can visualize them as dark clouds or entanglements that you can send to the Light to be purified. Stay with it until you feel they are completely gone

Step 15:

Finish the game by closing off the pathways that lead back to the DETERIORATING situation.

“I let go and seal off the ways I prolong or maintain suffering for myself or anyone else.”

Check to see if you have any further issues that need to be addressed before you are complete. If you do, ask for a number between 1 and 46 from Soul Prayer Charts.

Having the faith that you don’t need to be in control of a DETERIORATING situation is a big help in coming to terms with change and moving on in a positive way.

However, the collective mindset in the USA is either still caught up in the CONFLICT of the past several years or is too exhausted to put the influx of energy to good use!

Adopt Beneficial Limitations - VOTE!The I Ching (or Book of Change) Energy dipped briefly into DETERIORATION last week and then settled into Hexagram #60 LIMITATIONS on Sunday, Oct. 18th. It will probably change just before the US election. Talk about suspense!
Unfortunately, the collective mindset (or herd mentality) of the USA has, for the most part, remained stuck in Hexagram #6 CONFLICT since the beginning of last July, even though more advantageous energies have been available.  
Now, as election day approaches, Mercury has gone into Retrograde and much of the  American mindset is still caught in CONFLICT, even though the actual flow is #60 LIMITATIONS

“The most ancient and basic concern of mankind is that of regulating production and consumption within the dictates of nature. Therefore LIMITATIONS were created to preserve civilizations. Perhaps the first book of law was the calendar. The changing seasons created time and order in the consciousness of life, which, in turn, balances itself with the limits in its environment. These LIMITATIONS in all of nature give meaning to life and to the individual lives of men (and women).

Thrift is especially important now. Limit expenditures and investments, whether they are made with money, energy, or emotions. In general, it is wise to avoid any excess in behavior, from blind loyalty on one hand to apathy on the other. If you are contemplating a radical reform or an indifferent retreat, you are not in harmony with the times.

The establishment of regulations or organizations that limit extravagant practices is in order. Set LIMITATIONS in business interests as well. Although these restrictions can be bothersome, it is a wise plan given the current economic atmosphere. Make certain your position is consolidated should difficulties come. In this way, you and your associates will be protected during changes in the economic climate. However, do not carry the idea of limitation too far, or you may create unhappy relations. Put limits upon your LIMITATIONS as well.

Curb extremes in personal relationships — extremes in promises, projections and passions. Accept your loved ones for themselves, and your relationships will strengthen. If you have gone too far in restricting others, you will cause only rebelliousness and unpleasantness. Instead set limits upon the extent of your attachments.

Artists and those involved in self-expression now need LIMITATIONS to rise to their full creative potential. Restraints and limits are connected to personal destiny and should be explored and accepted constructively. LIMITATIONS bring morality to character development and significance to the expression of the Self. By setting guidelines and principles for yourself, you can successfully accomplish something of true meaning. Without limitation, you’re overwhelmed by possibilities, moving from one thing to the next, never able to make a true commitment to anything. Make it a point now to discover your personal inclinations and LIMITATIONS, and you will discover the path to fulfillment. Be cautioned, however, not to allow your limitations to bind you, or worse, become an excuse for sedentary behavior. Use them as the natural regulations leading to health and great personal achievement.

September -October, 2020 Intuitive Reading from the I Ching or Book of Change – Navigating Danger.

In this intuitive reading for September 20th – October 11, 2020, Soul Resources offers a variety of SOS formulas and Transformation Games using the Intuitive Learning Circles and the I Ching for navigating DANGER as we seek to build a better world based on the Common Good.

Creating Synergy for a New Paradigm

Gaining a Larger Perspective on the Current Flow

2020 is the Year of the Yang White or Golden Rat in the Chinese Zodiac. The Rat is generally described as active, fertile, filled with energy and industrious. However, Rats also attract clutter, spread disease and tend to meddle in situations where they can do serious damage. As I’ve mentioned before, another year of the White Metal Rat was 1720 when the French city of Marseille was devastated by the Black Plague. Unfortunately, the themes of collective karma around responsibility and illness is difficult to miss.

The I Ching (or Book of Change) Energy was in the flow of Hexagram #6 CONFLICT for the whole month of July. Then, at the beginning of August, the energy changed to #30 SYNERGY. Unfortunately, the collective mindset of the USA remained stuck in the CONFLICT and was unwilling to detach from the gridlock and take advantage of the more positive energy.  
As a result, we have entered into Hexagram #29 DANGER for the next 2 – 4 weeks.

I Ching Intuitive Reading for September 20th – October 11th, 2020.

I Ching Workbook - R. L. WingThe original intent of the I Ching was based on an Eastern philosophy of observation and marking changes in natural and human events. Through many centuries and contributions from shamans and master teachers, including Lau Tzu and Confucius, the Book of Change was developed into a full philosophy for applying beneficial human conduct to varying circumstances. The Art of Feng Shui is part of that philosophy.

The Transformation Games, Mind Exercises and Self-care Formulas listed at the bottom of this Reading follow I Ching advice for Navigating DANGER, as translated by R.L. Wing.

“The situation is one of real DANGER, caused by and manifested in the affairs of man. This DANGER is not inspired by overwhelming tendencies within the cosmos, or by conflicts in your innermost attitudes. The real DANGER that confronts you is brought about by your immediate environment. It will take skill to overcome the difficulties, but managed properly, this time of challenge can bring out the very best in you. The Chinese text points out that if you can act with confidence and virtue whatever you do results in success.”

Do not avoid confrontations in any difficult or threatening situations; you must now meet and overcome them through correct behavior. Maintain a continued resolve. Hold to your ethics and principles and do not for a moment consider compromising what you believe to be right. Acting with integrity and confidence is the key to surmounting the DANGER.

In business or political affairs, stick to approved policy. When making judgements regarding matters of leadership, neither bargain with your principles nor attempt to avoid the issue, for such actions would render meaningless all that has been achieved thus far. In social interactions, remain true to your nature. If possible, convince others of the soundness of your ideas by demonstrating the good effects of your actions. If they will not support you, you do not need them. Keep moving. Do not dally in the DANGER. In personal relationships, do not allow passions to to lead you into peril. If the difficulties cannot be resolved without sacrificing your principles, the relationship may be irresolute.

The time of DANGER can be especially good for inner development. By holding to fixed and virtuous ethics, by maintaining your inner vision and ideals, all things fall into a steady, tangible perspective. You will know your relationships to your environment, and in this way you can accomplish your aims. Although subjective, this perspective is now in accord with the problems facing you now.

Additionally, by persevering in high minded conduct, you become a living example to your family and your fellow man. Through the consistency of your actions you guide and inspire others in the handling of their own affairs. This in turn will create order and dispel DANGER within your milieu. Thus you are protected.

Frequent encounters with DANGER are a part of life. Beyond making you inwardly strong, familiarity with DANGER, like the near brush of death, can instill in you a profound awareness of the life force and the mysterious nature of the cosmos. Such heightened awareness can bring new meaning, determination, and richness into your life.”

Transforming Your Life in The Year of the Ox

This year’s Chinese Horoscope animal is the Yin Metal Ox, which began on February 12th and will continue January 31st, 2021. Recent Years ruled by the Ox are 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 and 2021. Future years will be 2033, 2045 and 2057.

The positive qualities of the Ox are generally described as strength, devotion, hard work, honesty and positivity. However, Ox also has a tendency to be stubborn, shy, with overly prudent or cautious behavior. She might resist change by blocking things and digging  in her hoofs without budging an inch.  I’m going to compare this type of behavior to that described in Longfellow’s poem, “When Ox is positive, she’s very, very positive. When she’s negative, she’s horrid.”

A major consideration of managing Ox energy in 2021 is how to apply your efforts effectively into situations, people and projects that are actually heading in the same direction you would like to go.

By the way, all this fits in perfectly with 2021 being a Number Five Year in the Tarot system represented by Temperance (balance and patience) and the Hierophant (inner vision and true guidance). It’s not hard to see how troublesome things could become if you were to tap into that more resistant, stubborn energy. Especially when you’re being asked to patiently follow Soul guidance and wisdom!

This leads us to the movement of the Collective Psyche, which is upward this year. Last Year was a Year of going In and when people bucked against their better angels, they went Out, causing unnecessary ill will, suffering and divisiveness towards the collective good.

So this year, your better angels will advise you to go Up. To rise up and above the turmoil and darkness that festers below. Many will buck those promptings and dive down, submerging themselves into old patterns and woundedness. Sadly, their energy will be used, yet again, by unscrupulous and predatory Souls. If you are feeling drained, weak and/or depressed, this could be your problem. Reverse the movement of your Soul. Reach for the Light and Psyche will follow.

As you can see, there’s a lot going on. To help you, this Transformation Game has been put together to increase your awareness of the different energies involved and how you might use them in a healthy way to keep you clear and on track!

When things are at their beginning, it’s very easy to get off track. Mistakes are bound to happen because this New Paradigm is a new path for everyone. We will all probably need to go back and make adjustments to plans and/or assumptions we’ve made about how this new stage is going to work.

You’re going to need to cultivate true kindness and patience towards your Self to make the changes necessary. Gently look at the next Circle to affirm your best intentions:

Focus in on the open, blank space in the middle of this Circle. Send your energy to it using these positive affirmations:

“I make a conscious choice to focus my energy on genuinely helpful people, projects and activities.”

Make a list of things or experiences you would like to create that would be genuinely productive for you at this time.

Energy Medicine for the New Paradigm

Once you’ve done that, you’ll probably feel quite a bit better.


If you’re willing, there are several other decisions you could make that could really improve how you’re navigating the energy. 

Let’s continue with several principles that are bound to be helpful as you transform your life.

Priority #1: Stay focused and calm.

The year will have many challenges – sometimes too many! Keeping a calm and peaceful mindset will help you stay aware of possible danger. Ask yourself:

“Am I calm?  Focused? Is there something I need to pay attention to for my own good?

 Priority #2: Keep Your Choices Down to Earth and Do-able.

Keeping your perception realistic sets you up for success and keeps you on track.

“I let go of fantasies and unrealistic ideas.”

“I focus on what’s really possible for me to create in my current situation.”

“I perceive my situation as it really is.”

“Clarity of thought and good boundaries create the best conditions for success.”

“I decide that being calm and stable are healthy qualities to nurture.”

 

Priority #3: Stay Grounded In Your Own Garden.

It can be pretty easy to wander off into other people’s gardens looking for work that isn’t really meant for us. This is what is known as ‘I’m going to fix you” syndrome. Don’t buy into it!

“I remain in my own garden to tend it properly. I make the necessary changes so that I may thrive.”

Priority #4: Release Irritations and Don’t Take Things Personally.

We may have a tendency to internalize all the stressful irritations that are a part of learning and adapting to any new situation. Use this Circle to help you open up and release anything that’s bugging you. Imagine those bugs all flying up to the Sun!

Once you’ve done that and you feel clear, ask yourself, “Is there anything irritating me about my physical environment?”

Priority #5: Be the One Driving in Your Own Driver’s Seat.

Life is too short to let other people or other agendas be in charge of how you’re living your life. Have the Courage to say “no” when you need to.

Stop second guessing and make a choice about what’s most important for you right now.

“What is most important right now?’

“Do I have some intentions that conflict with each other? If so, can I tell what they are? What can I do to clear the conflicts?

Am I in a suitable position to be successful? If not, what would help?”

 

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of any societal or familial patterns that interfere with transforming your life. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve the destructive energies or old patterns of ____________, etc. ”

 

I decide to get grounded and follow the path that’s most beneficial to me.”

 

Once the patterns are cleared, close the pathways or trajectories that lead to trouble.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Resolve for a New Paradigm

Gaining a Larger Perspective on the Current Flow

2020 is the Year of the Yang White or Golden Rat in the Chinese Zodiac. Ironically, exactly 300 years ago was also a Year of the White Rat when the ship “Grand Saint Antoine” brought the last major outbreak of bubonic plague to the City of Marseille, France. Unfortunately, the theme of large cycles of collective karma around responsibility and illness is difficult to miss.

The Rat is generally described as active, fertile, filled with energy and industrious, however, his darker side seems to be more predominant this year as it was in 1720. Historically, Rats attract clutter, spread disease and generally insert themselves into situations where they can do serious damage. 

Although we’ve already witnessed unprecedented confusion and mixed messages, 2020 is really teaching us how to stay flexible and change with the changes! 

I Ching Intuitive Reading for July 1st – July 24th, 2020.

The I Ching Energy quickly passed through Hexagram #47 ADVERSITY at the beginning of June, providing just the kind of energy where dangerous and tragic situations could erupt suddenly with little or no provocation. Luckily, it was very short-lived and then moved into #43,  RESOLUTION for a couple of weeks.
Now, it’s gotten volatile again, spurred on by all the astrological events and lack of unified leadership.
Yes, things are difficult, yet how you handle irritations, intense social change and inner conflict can still make a difference. 
Please, remain aware of the potential for explosive situations that could appear almost out of nowhere.

What is the best thing to do in times such as these?

Let go of preconceived ideas that cause division and resolve to use this difficult time to progress into a New Paradigm based on equality, sustainable prosperity and cooperation for the Common Good ~

On June 20th, we settled into the flow of  Hexagram #6, CONFLICT. Here is part of the text that I think will be most relevant between July 1st though the 19th:

“At a time when social unity is most important, it is significantly lacking. There are misunderstandings brought about by basic philosophical differences and they cannot be overcome by forceful measures. Avoid controversial topics unless there is present a wise mediator who is trusted by all concerned… 

…weigh all of the possible difficulties and oppositions at the beginning of your endeavors. Such careful considerations are the only way to end debilitating CONFLICT which can bring your efforts to a standstill. As it is, you cannot engage in confrontation with your adversaries, for this would lead to misfortune. All such aggressive or cunning strategies will come to evil.

In questions of power or politics, it would be in your best interests to place the CONFLICT before an impartial authority who can make an unprejudiced decision. In this way you can bring discord to a halt before it becomes injurious…

…Business matters cannot be brought to fruition at this time…It would be best to hold back major changes or innovations until the time is more auspicious…

Hold back and re-examine your original feelings…

Take Good Care of Yourself Through Moderation

During this pandemic, we’re all learning what we need to do to take good care of ourselves. The path of MODERATION is often the key.

There is no shortage of information and advice out there about what we should and should not do to take care of ourselves. Early on in my experience as a medical intuitive, I discovered that there is no “one way” to protect ourselves or heal that works for everyone. We are all unique individuals with our own strengths, weaknesses and preferences – our own karma, if you will.

I also learned that what works today may not work tomorrow. That has to do with circumstances; something may have suddenly changed that has to be dealt with. A shock may cause you to loose your footing and get off balance. Or, there may be some other spiritual or emotional blockage that needs to be released before a clear solution can appear. There could be underlying toxins in the system, the timing may not be right or the body could be so challenged by something like the coronavirus that it’s unable to communicate properly.

So, given all the variables present in this extremely difficult time, how can you take good care of yourself?

A New Perspective from an Old Friend

Simply relax and gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles while contemplating Kuan Yins words. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek. Here’s an example:

“I connect with my five senses to perceive what I need now to be healthy.”

“I use them to become aware of confusion, lies, conflicts and self sabotage.”

“I use them to discern the difference between healthy life force and an invading energy.”

Note: As you gaze at a Circle, it may move around, change color or spin. The lines may disappear and reappear again. That’s okay. It just means that they’re working with your subconscious mind to help you make needed changes. You’ll know the adjustment has been made when the energy subsides. Take all the time that you need. Your Soul is in charge!

Now, let this Circle help you balance all of your senses so that you are listening to your own body, instead of all that discordant noise from the outside world! The volume may be turned up too high, or it could be too low.

Take several breaths and relax. Breathing into your belly and exhaling long and slow. This is helpful to every part of your nervous system.

“I listen to my heart. I notice my breath. I move my body around and stretch.”

“I activate my intuition and use it in balance with other aspects of learning, such as common sense, logic, observation and instinct.”

Next, make sure that you are fully present.

Continue to relax and let your 3rd Chakra get connected, open and balanced at your solar plexus (the area where your ribs go up in the front).

Your Essential Self is most efficiently located there to help you manifest, create happiness and maintain health.

In stressful times, it’s pretty common for the Essential Self to get closed off, misplaced or dissociated. You can correct that now.

 

This next Circle calls in the unique energy signature of your Soul so that you can synchronize with your environment appropriately.

When you use your own energy signature, you can easily distinguish your energy from the energy of those around you. This is great for your health and for healthy boundaries!

Imagine that you can “plug in” at your Solar Plexus Chakra to relieve irritability, strengthen your immune system and clear out extraneous confusion. Use these affirmations to help you:

“I am plugged in and my life flows with ease.”

“I know who I am and what is important to me.”

Divine Nature Activates ChakrasTo complete the Introduction, use this Reiki Chakra Key to gently connect & balance your 4th Chakra, just up about 4 – 5 inches from the solar plexus.

The Fourth Chakra is also known as the Heart Chakra because it’s the center of our spiritual connection – the bridge between our bodies and our spirit.

It also regulates both the respiratory and circulatory processes. When it’s properly balanced, the energy has a green vibration with a positive charge; like a beautiful light, radiating out.

As you softly gaze at this Key, keep breathing until you sense positive energy radiating out from your heart  center:

“My Heart Chakra is connected, open and balanced. Its light is radiating out.”

 

Once you feel open and relaxed, you’ve tuned up your energy and you’re ready to start playing the game!

Transformation Game - Take Good Care of Yourself

“In difficult times, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where ‘The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.’ ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

The ancient Chinese text describes MODERATION as the best way to make progress by disengaging from harmful extremes and following the truth and guidance that comes from within. In almost any situation, if you’re able to walk a moderate and middle road, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

Finding Moderation and Following that Path ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is a sensible flow to follow whenever there’s so much chaos and confusion that it’s hard for you to tell what’s going on. In the midst of chaos, unpreferred karma (cause and effect) can be easily triggered. For many people, soul contracts have been completed and need to be released to prevent unnecessary health problems. Generally, people are probably either:

  1. Falling into a downward spiral of mental, emotional, physical and/or spiritual health.
  2. Experiencing a lot of obstinate refusal to change. 
  3. Getting pulled back into regressive patterns from the past.
  4. Pulling oneself together into a centered position of empowered authority.

As you softly gaze at this Circle that accesses karmic seeds, see if you’re currently experiencing one of these situations. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing situation #1, 2, 3 or 4?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Whatever it is, you can take good care of yourself by letting go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that’s causing you harm in any way. This game will help you do that. 


Let Go So You Can Bring In New Ways to Take Good Care of Yourself.

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. It can be helpful to imagine that each agreement is like a lock attached to every vertebrae of your spine. To let go, start at the bottom of the line and move up your spine – unlocking any harmful agreements as you go all the way to the top of your neck. Here are some examples:

“I unlock any agreement to sacrifice my health or place myself in harms way.”

“I let go of any lies, poor guidance or assumptions that block my ability to heal.”

“I discontinue activities or beliefs that put me at risk.”

“I release pathways, false concepts and patterns of behavior that lead to conflict, confusion, hardship, over-indulgence or ________, etc.”

 

Reclaim Your Power:

“I decide to gently integrate healthier patterns that upgrade my happiness and well-being – in accordance with my highest good.”

“I exist and am empowered to take good care of myself.”

Take all the time you need to really relax with this one.

 

Clear Out the Clutter:

This is a good opportunity to clear your inner garden of any outdated intentions or energies that interfere with your health or happiness.

As you look at this Reiki Key, allow your heart center to clear out any hurtful entanglements or conflicts. Include old energies or grievances with family, friends or business relationships. Clear out harmful agendas from social institutions, religious practices, cults or partisanships. Release attachments to completed projects, places you’ve lived, outmoded forms of transportation, communication, consumerism or business, etc.

By letting go of all that clutter, you free up a lot of energy that’s better spent on your health and vitality.

 

Make Commitments to Your Good Health and Well-being:

Because of the chaos involved, there aren’t many guarantees out there. Making any kind of reliable prediction is next to impossible. You’re going to need all the presence and energy you have to help you during times such as these. Gently look at the next Circle while you affirm these positive affirmations:

“My new agreement is to stay present in my body and follow my inner guidance – calmly and honestly.”

“I am flexible and able to adapt to what’s needed.”

“I notice disturbances in my health. I ask for and receive reliable help when I need it.”

“I make wise choices about my health and well-being.”

“I let go of ______.   I prepare for ______.

I take care of ______.   I am open to ______.”

 

Strengthen Your Energy Field:

“I decide to build an attraction field for _________, _________, _______.” Suggestions: excellent health, healthy boundaries, nourishment, equality, good company, cooperation, sustainable prosperity, etc.

 

Focus On Your Priorities:

Use this Circle to help you shift your focus to what really matters.

“I make a choice to focus my attention on hope, health, sustainable prosperity and ______________.”

 

Develop Healthy Reciprocity:

Take time to organize your energy properly so that you can manifest your intentions.

“I nurture my body, mind and spirit healthfully, in alignment with my highest good and my highest good is returned to me.”

 Once you feel in the flow, ask yourself: “Are there any habits or behaviors that would be helpful for me to change?”

 

Nourishment:

Consider how well you’re nourishing yourself and make notes so that you’ll remember.

“Are there any foods, especially herbs, teas, vegetables or fruits that would benefit me? Am I getting enough fresh water? Is there anything to stay away from?

Is there anything I’m consuming that’s causing a problem?”

“Am I approaching my circumstances correctly? If not, can I tell what’s needed?”

 

Oxygen:

Relax for a few minutes to consciously breathe and relax. Imagine what kind of exercise you could do that would be most helpful today.

“Am I getting enough oxygen through breathing, fresh air and exercise?”

Emotional Calm

“Do I need more relaxation? If so, what might help me?”

 

Sunlight:

Your body needs sunlight to stimulate good health and keep your immune system strong.

“Am I getting enough sunlight to make Vitamin D-3?”

“If not, what would help me with this?”

 

Evaluate Your Current Actions or Intentions.

“Are there any activities I’m planning that would be dangerous?”

If so, can I tell what they are? How can I follow a more MODERATE and beneficial path?”

 

Let Go of Destructive Patterns:

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of self-sabotage or any societal or familial pattern that still affects your health in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve destructive energy and any connection I have ever had to it.”

“I dissolve ___________________.”

Close the Pathways to Suffering:

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to  extremes, unnecessary suffering or danger.

“I decide to close the door on harmful pathways. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Ground:

In order to actualize the benefits of what you’ve done with this game, it’s important to get grounded. Put both feet on the ground and let this Circle help you get grounded in a new paradigm of equality, cooperation and sustainable prosperity.

 

Finish with Gratitude:

At this point, you’re probably feeling much calmer and more in balance. Finish with this affirmation:

“I am grounded in gratitude and appreciation for the help I receive.” 

Congratulations!

Take Good Care of Yourself
