Your energy and how you use it has powerful implications to your health, your mood and your sense of prosperity. This Mind Exercise will help you uncover and resolve your blockages to happiness in the Year of the Rabbit.
Tuning in and going with the flow of nature is a difficult thing for most human beings. We’ve been trained since childhood to use force and effort to accomplish our aims. In fact, in many circles, it’s considered a weakness to behave in any other way.
Kuan Yin has been co-creating with us to find another, more peaceful way for you to manifest your goals called “The Power Circle of Life – Ten Stages of Natural Physical Manifestation.” This process has been inspired by Reiki, Tibetan Energy Work, Feng Shui and Hawaiian Huna, and has been developed for those who truly desire to experience the abundance and joy of surrendering to the flow of creativity or “happiness”.
The purpose of each Stage in the Power Circle of Life is to illuminate how you can be more in the flow in any situation and learn how you can use the natural cycles of nature together with the true nature of your Soul to create your heart’s desires through the energy flow of Happiness, which is the same flow that we use when we’re being creative or experiencing a state of ecstasy.
In this discussion, we will give examples of some of the common pitfalls that might interfere with your ability to manifest naturally and give some simple advice that has proven to make a world of difference!
Blockages to Happiness
Let’s start with a quick explanation about the energetic flow of unhappiness and the creative flow of happiness that we’re going to use as underlying principles to this process ~
Unhappiness is a state of being caught in a maze, where a person is focused on external conditions and the delusion of powerlessness. In that place, their energy easily becomes diffused, distracted, scattered and drained.
Because they’re looking for answers outside of themselves, they are more susceptible to deceptions, false promises and no-win situations and will habitually attract ‘unhappy’ conditions.
In addition, sudden changes in one’s environment and toxic exposure can increase the confusion and exacerbate a lack of direction, focus and self-awareness. This confusion, in turn, becomes a part of the person’s attraction field.
It’s important to note that unhappiness can be transmuted into happiness through courage and awareness that different choices can be made at any time.
Happiness is a heart centered state of being where a person is internally creating their experience and more likely to attract their needs in an open, natural way. As they experience happiness, they are living the concept of reciprocity; that “what you put out comes back to you.” They take responsibility for their choices and know that their mindset is important in maintaining their happiness. They also know that how their energy is flowing and what actions they take are key components to experiencing happiness.
Ask yourself if your creative energy flowing up and out like a fountain?
Acknowledging Significant Archetypal Energies
There are other archetypal energies that have an effect on our abilities to create happiness in any given year. For example, the Chinese Lunar Year, which began on January 22nd, 2023, is the Year of the Yin Water Rabbit.
Her positive energy traits are considered to be:
Docile. Peaceful. Fertile. Tender. Quiet. Gentle. Cautious and Considerate.
Her less desirable qualities are: Irresolute. Skittish. Stubborn. Timid. Escapist and having a tendency to Procrastinate.
Her energy is quite different from the previous year of the Black Yang Tiger, who left quite a ferocious imprint.
Fortunately for us, this archetypal transition from dominance to gentleness has opened up an opportunity for our Soul’s to let go of the old and create new Soul connections and pathways to travel on.
However, before we jump into big changes head first, let’s bring in some of that peace loving Rabbit energy! She would caution us to complete and actually let go of lingering patterns of unhappiness from the past. By clearing up old conflicts and confusion, we can happily hop forward in a truly more prosperous way.
In order to do that, we look to the wisdom of our Reiki Guides, Kuan Yin and the Helpers of Physical Manifestation, who have been helping us since 2011 with the Power Circle of Life – Ten Stages of Natural Physical Manifestation. In this case, they recommend that we start with the COMPLETION Stage.
Breaking Through Your Blockages to Happiness
To understand what your blockages to happiness are, let’s go through this simple series of Intuitive Learning Circles. They’ve been put together to help you relax and contemplate the nature of what’s interfering with your energy flow and ability to manifest happiness.
But first, something to remember about working with the Circles…
Mind Body Integration
The brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. If you feel resistant or stuck, cross or uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body and go back to gazing softly at the Circle, breathing patiently.
See if your thinking starts to move again. Let negative self-talk go by breathing through it. This action alone could release blockages to happiness.
STAGE 10: Completion – Acceptance of the Natural Flow of Activity and Rest
It may seem odd to start with the final Stage of Natural Physical Manifestation, yet that is exactly where many people are stuck because they have chronic UNFINISHED BUSINESS. Without attending to the Completion Stage, the psyche is unable to move on. Very often, the main underlying cause of unhappiness is unresolved grief.
Take a moment or two and meditate on this Reiki Chakra Key for the Heart Center. Notice how you feel emotionally and how your energy feels, especially around the central area of your chest.
How would you describe it? Please note if that energy feels like yours or someone else’s.
Does it feel as though you are stuck, disconnected or having difficulty adjusting to positive changes in your life?
Gaze softly at the Circle and imagine that what you’re feeling is melting or the lines going in towards the center are becoming loose and limp – like cooked spaghetti.
Clarify Your Situation
Take a few minutes to relax and bring your senses into balance so that you can perceive what’s really happening with you. For example, have you been paying attention to somebody else or to yourself?
Sometimes highly sensitive people are more attuned to others than they are to themselves. If that’s so, make that correction now.
Take another moment to be sure that you’ve closed down any drains to your energy or old habits that might be pulling you back into a pattern that you’ve been working on letting go for a long time. Let’s not waste time on something that you’ve already resolved!
Now you’re ready to contemplate your situation from a distance. Do your best to be as objective and dispassionate as possible… what do you notice?
What impressions can you receive from a more objective standpoint?
Make a note of what comes to you so you remember.
Do you have inappropriate boundaries with someone or something that needs to be examined? What do you need to gain more awareness of?
Do you sense that there’s something sticky or toxic going on? If so, use this Detachment Key to relax and neutralize interfering energies so you can detach from them.
Imagine that a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over you, like a healing balm.
Could there be a reversal of energy going on that’s causing the blockage?
If so, take all the time that you need with this Correction Key to smooth out any jagged energy. Be sure to do that both crossed and uncrossed.
Is there an energetic collapse that needs to be addressed?
Are you turning yourself inside out trying to get something done?
Are you present and in your body?
Ask a simple question: “What area of my life is experiencing a blockage?” Listen for the answer.
“Is there an aspect of how I’m using my resources and energy that’s inappropriate, missing or out of sync?”
You might get a visual that clarifies what’s going on. Or you could ask for a number between 1 – 58 from Gifts from the Rainforest to give you more information about what’s happening.
Once you have gone through these steps to clarify the situation, congratulations! You are now more aware and have begun the process of breaking through blockages to happiness! You might want to make a note of what you came up with. The critical mind often doesn’t like to remember the quieter, gentler voice of intuition.
A Quick Reminder: Make sure that you’re applying the generative life flow for Air to heal, protect, communicate and manifest happiness, prosperity and peace.

Tip #1 ACCEPT THE ROLE OF BOTH YIN AND YANG ENERGIES IN THE MANIFESTING PROCESS
Masculine energy (Yang) is result oriented and serves us well in accomplishing our goals. However, in our society we tend to have a drive behind our work that often puts us into conflict with others and ourselves. The Completion stage of manifestation can give us guidance on how to extract the beneficial aspects of this drive and learn how to use them in a balanced way.
Once you have completed a project or a stage of a project, let your receptive feminine energies (Yin) gather and do what they do best, which is to process. It’s important to rest, clear out the energy around that project, focus your thoughts on what makes you happy, and come to a place of peace before you begin the next stage or project. Allow your entire being to honor what you have accomplished and integrate the changes that have taken place as a result of all your efforts. If you have attended to the Stage of Completion and accepted where you are, your Psyche will be able to finish its business and will naturally open to new inspiration.
Tip #2 ALLOW TIME TO REST
In our modern world, there’s a notion that one must be forever moving forward. This is reflected in the unchanging mechanisms of seconds, minutes and hours in a clock. “Time marches on,” “time waits for no man” and other such mantras give one the impression that they are missing out on something if they stop to rest. In fact, the opposite is true. If you accomplish something important and do not stop to rest and center yourself, you are actually sabotaging yourself. This is because your energy has a natural process of re-organizing itself around changes in consciousness. If you do not get present and allow time for this, you cannot change and are stunting your own growth.
Release agreements about putting so much pressure on yourself and any other unhealthy agreements about time. Stay in the present, so that your Soul can be in charge of timing.
“I stop fighting against natural cycles. It’s okay to be both active and receptive. I keep myself in balance.”
“I release unhealthy pressure and agreements about time. When I stay in the present, my Soul can be in charge of timing.”
“I release agreements to beat myself up because my body is having a natural response. It’s okay to be tired and feeling whatever I’m feeling.”
“It’s okay to process and integrate the changes I have gone through.”
Tip #3 CLEAR OUT THE ENERGY FROM PROJECTS OR GOALS YOU HAVE FINISHED
Being tired is most often looked upon as indulgence or a sign of weakness. Very often, there is also a sense of fear or anxiety around the concept of resting. Perhaps there’s a nagging idea that somehow you’re going to miss out on something or that you’ll appear lazy.
Actually, being tired is a natural and necessary response to having completed something. If you will allow yourself to feel tired, your body will naturally begin a shedding process. You may describe this as feeling sluggish, foggy, heavy, sad or possibly even a little dizzy. These are all beneficial, because they are the processes through which your body can clear out debris from the old consciousness you have now transcended.
Tip #4 FOCUS YOUR THOUGHTS ON WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
This process gives your mind time to integrate the changes that have taken place and decide what you like about them and what you want to continue or discontinue. In essence, you are creating an opening and groundwork for a new cycle of inspiration. If you continually think negative thoughts about what you’re unhappy or dissatisfied with, you are digging yourself into an even deeper karmic cycle of dissatisfaction and unhappiness.

Tip #5 COME TO A PLACE OF PEACE
This idea is very important, because it releases worry and allows acceptance of what is. Complete transformation is not possible without acceptance of what you’ve done, what you haven’t done, and what is left to do.
If you haven’t allowed yourself to completely rest for a long time, your body will force you to take time through illness, accidents or your mind will simply become blocked. It is useless to become frustrated or struggle against the completion stage of manifestation. Doing so will only create more blockages. The best plan is to surrender, let yourself be still and allow the process take its course.
SO, TO SUMMARIZE:
When you have completed a project or a stage of a project, it’s important to rest, clear out the energy around that project, focus your thoughts on what makes you happy and come to a place of peace before you begin the next stage or project. Taking care of yourself in this way allows your entire being to honor what you’ve accomplished and integrate the changes that have taken place as a result of all your efforts. Once you have processed the Stage of Completion and accepted where you are, you can naturally open to new inspiration.
ONE FINAL THOUGHT:
You may want to make sure that you’re not taking on or perpetuating an unresolved family/ancestral issue about procrastination, over-achieving, perfectionism or poor self-esteem.
Even though the issue isn’t yours personally, it may very well be causing a serious blockage that could be cleared with The Essential Human or Divine Nature Activated.

The first step is to take a moment and think about what’s going on for you and then look at Rabbit Medicine and ask your heart:
“What category would be most useful for me to look at now?”
Once you have the category number, ask yourself:
“Which number in that category represents the best self healing process for me right now – or is the best place to start?”
Remember to take the very first number that comes to you, because that is your Inner Wisdom speaking or your intuition. If more than one number comes up, write them all down in the order they came to you.
Once you have your number, scroll down the list and check out that process. You might be surprised at what you chose, because intuition doesn’t always makes sense at first. However, I suggest that you trust your first response and explore the exercise anyway. See if it pertains to your situation and feels right.

Repeat this game for each Tip to help you fully integrate and understand how much change you have gone through. Contemplate the tip for a while and then, when it feels right, go through the game.
