Access the Power of Your Word Through the Fifth Chakra ~

Many people don’t realize how important the chakras are to our physical, mental and emotional health. For example, the Throat Chakra. Let’s start out by using the Reiki Chakra Key to relax and tune into the fifth primary chakra found at the throat. This energy center is about communication and is important to the function of our thyroid / parathyroid glands and affects the respiratory system. It also influences our abilities of expression and creativity. The color vibration of a balanced and healthy throat chakra is blue – as in “true blue.”

The Fifth Chakra Works with Your Agreements to Help You Create Your Physical, Mental and Emotional Health.

When you’re going through significant changes and want to improve your chances for success, it can be very helpful to understand how the power of your word plays into the mix. Unexamined agreements are often the cause of failure to heal, unnecessary stress and inner conflict. That’s because your unconscious mind and nervous system may still be following an old directive that contradicts what’s currently in your best interests. Especially if you’re dealing with boundaries or any kind of illness or recovery process, straightening out your agreements will streamline:

  • how you focus your energy to get well, and
  • affect your ability to make clear decisions that benefit you now.

To help you sort out how you’re using the power of your word through your agreements, here is a short explanation and mind exercise:

The mind is a recording device and is there to help you navigate physical reality by way of identifying things, communicating, making agreements and by blocking things out that will cause confusion in physical reality. Its primary purpose is to preserve and protect the body.

An agreement can be something simple like deciding that a plate is a plate or that the color red is the color red. More complex agreements are marriage and business contracts or taking religious vows.

Agreements are what organize collective experience and help us to navigate through life. If we didn’t agree what a hammer was used for, it would be difficult to build anything. If there were no agreements around a marriage, then it would be difficult to operate as a collective family unit. These agreements act as a filter so you can focus on relevant information and discard input that is irrelevant.

The mind records our experiences and acts on agreements that we’ve made. Let’s explore different kinds of agreements that might be causing you trouble:

1. Agreements with self. Examples: “I must be nice – I have to put the needs of others before myself”, “I’m not good enough as I am – I’m too tall, too short, too old,” etc.” 

2. Agreements with other people. Examples: “I have to keep working, no matter what”, “I’m the only one who can do it”, “I can’t trust anybody,” etc.

3. Agreements with society. Examples: “Being successful = being busy”, “I’m not the right sex, race, or age to ______,” “I can’t, my religion won’t let me”, etc.

4. Agreements with the collective unconscious. i.e. the recorded memory of human kind. “This is the way my ancestors did it, therefore, I must follow in their footsteps.”

Agreements imply certain obligations that shape our beliefs and behavior. Examples: “I said I would vote for him, and so I will – no matter what”, “I have no voice in this situation and so I have no power”, etc. 

What Are You Giving Voice To?

Am I listening to my voice or someone else’s?

As mentioned before, the mind is a recording device and is there to help you navigate physical reality safely. But what if your physical reality goes through a significant trauma or upheaval? What if you are unconsciously accessing agreements that no longer have relevance for you or that are in conflict with one another?

What if the voices in your head aren’t your voice at all?

Conflicting or out of date agreements cause confusion and blockages in your mind. That can create situations where you’re sabotaging yourself and don’t even know it. If you’d like to find out if that’s happening to you, ask yourself:

“Am I listening to messages, assumptions or agreements that are in conflict with each other?”

If so, can you tell what they are?

Notice how your mind gets confused and doesn’t know what action to take. Then when you do make a decision, whatever agreements that are in conflict with that decision come up and create obstacles. These obstacles could impair your health in serious ways, so it’s well worth it to address them and clear out the landscape of your mind on a regular basis.

“Are these conflicts causing disharmony or poor health?”

A Solution for Healing Inner Conflicts.

Use the Intuitive Learning Circle below to release conflicting or harmful agreements on a neurological level. All you need to do is look at the Circle and consciously imagine any “contracts” that are outdated or causing you harm are burning up into ashes.

Here are some “global” agreements that might be useful for you to release: 

“I release any agreements, obligations or vows that are causing me harm.”

“I let go of any agreement that’s blocking my ability to adapt successfully to my current needs.”

“I release all agreements, obligations or vows that sabotage my health or prevent me from taking good care of myself.”

“I release all agreements, beliefs, or obligations that I’ve been forced into against my free will.”

What other agreements can you think of that might be good for you to release?

Establish New Agreements or Renegotiate Old Ones that Will Help You Adapt to the Changes You’re Going Through:

“I now decide to love and take good care of myself. I find excellent resources to help me be happy, healthy and prosperous.”

“I listen to my Soul’s guidance.”

“I am fully present and can easily adapt to necessary changes.”

“Under my current circumstances, I’m going to need to renegotiate my agreements around ___________________, etc.”

*Notice that you always replace the old agreement with a positive, new one. 

Release Conflicts from the Collective Unconscious:

Remember, your mind can also access agreements in the collective unconscious, which is the recorded memory of human kind. Some of those memories or agreements may be causing you harm without you knowing it!

Use this Circle to consciously pull your energy back from people, places and old intentions that no longer serve you.

“I pull my energy back to the here and now. I reclaim my gifts and talents. I use them to fulfill my Soul’s purpose and my highest good.”

 

Dissolve Harmful Patterns Left Over from Those Old Agreements:

“I dissolve any destructive mental / emotional patterns or templates that sabotage my health, my communications or the power of my word.”

Keep dissolving the heavy energy by sending it to the Sun until you can feel yourself standing in a beautiful open field with a clear blue sky.

 

Once the patterns are cleared, give your heart and Soul some relief through closure.

“All holes, leaks or damages to my energy field are sealed and healed. 

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Re-integrate the Light into Your Throat Chakra ~

Come back now to meditating on the Reiki Chakra Key for your Fifth Chakra. Relax and softly gaze at the symbol for a few minutes with these positive affirmations:

“My Soul is in charge of how I communicate. I speak truly and clearly.”

“It’s okay to use my own voice to ask for what I want.”

Welcome to our Transformation Game about Hexagram #6 – Conflict

Transformation Game - Emotional Conflict

Sometimes the reason we’re experiencing emotional conflict is because we’re being dragged into unhealthy patterns from the past. These could be societal expectations, a family pattern or it could be an unhealthy, entangled relationship you have with an individual.

The I Ching says about CONFLICT:

“You may be facing a major disillusionment in your life as you begin to realize that what you believed to be a universal truth is only your subjective view of the situation. You will have to reconsider your premise more realistically. The need for an inner adjustment yielding a more harmonious outlook is indicated.” ~ Hexagram #6 CONFLICT, The I Ching Workbook, R. L Wing

 

To find out if that’s happening, gaze softly at the Intuitive Learning Circle™ and ask yourself:

“Am I tangled up with someone else’s belief or desire?”

“Is that entanglement pulling me into the Old Paradigm of greed and inequality?”

“Is it dragging me into an unhealthy trajectory that isn’t my Soul’s path?”

If the answer you get is”no,” that’s great! Your Soul is in charge and you’re staying grounded in the New Paradigm of equality, personal responsibility and sustainable prosperity.

However, if the answer you get is “yes,” “maybe,” or “sometimes,” you may be losing your footing, or even worse, weakening your connection with your Soul! What can you do?

1. Get Yourself Into the Best Position To Clear Your Emotional Conflict.

You could be having trouble with your Third Chakra, located at the solar plexus (in the front where your ribs go up). Your Psyche or Essential Self resides most effectively in that location.

Take a minute or so to gaze softly at the Reiki Chakra Key for chakra healing so that your Essential Self can access its power effectively.

The existence of the Essential Self is discussed in many cultures and disciplines. Other names would be your Inner Child, the Authentic Self, the Golden Child or the Basic Self.
Regardless of what it’s called, you can think of it as your “I am,” or your true essence.

2. Identify Mistaken Ideas That Can Cause Emotional Conflict.

Now that you’ve got your positioning right, let’s see if we can find out exactly what’s causing problems for you right now.  Gaze softly at the Circle below, and imagine you’re looking at yourself in a mirror. Ask yourself these questions:
“What is the biggest challenge I’m facing right now?”
“What are the voices from my critical mind saying about it? Is that the truth?”


“How do I see myself in this situation? Is this an accurate reflection of what is really happening?”
“Am I buying into a mistaken idea that’s interfering with my truth or ability to succeed?”

3. Get Specifics About This Particular Emotional Conflict.

Ask yourself if your energy is actually tangled up with someone around this issue.

Are harmful or controlling thoughts being directed towards you? Are you giving yourself a hard time with negative self-talk?

If so, can you tell what the nature of those thoughts might be?

Is this conflict affecting your health and/or safety?

If so, can you tell in what way?

4. Make a Decision to Detach From Harmful Influences.

If the answers you get are distressing to you, it’s time for your Soul to reclaim your personal authority and detach from the conflict. Note – Once you’ve detached, the conflict may still be there, but you’ll be relating to it differently.

Relax and use this sequence of symbols and positive affirmations to help you detach…

“I decide to detach from past resentments and the conflicts they create – in the past, now and in the future.”

 

“I let go of the confusion around this conflict. I now choose thoughts that support my freedom and happiness.”

 

“I let go of the poison and negativity that surrounds me and take responsibility for my own happiness.”

 

“I decide that my Soul is now in charge. I let go of mistaken ideas, shame, coercion, blame, guilt and punishment. I let go of the desire to take things personally or waste my energy on emotional conflicts.”

“I learn from past mistakes and they are forgiven.”

 

 

“I reclaim my connection with my Soul.”

“My Soul is in charge of detaching from and clearing away false or harmful influences.”

“I follow the guidance and integrity of my Soul.”

5. Dissolve Destructive Mental and Emotional Patterns:

Imagine all those emotional conflicts and the ways you get caught up in them are like a huge storm cloud trying to surround and engulf you. This symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints will help your Soul clear the negative pattern. All you have to do is breathe and have the following intention as you gaze softly at the image:

“I dissolve all the patterns of this emotional conflict and any ways that I attach to them.”

“I dissolve shame, blame, falsehood, entrapment, gullibility, guilt and ____________.”

Simply see the cloud dissolving or send it to the Sun until you can see yourself standing in the middle of your own personal garden, filled with beauty and brightly colored flowers.

6. Reclaim Balance:

“I bring myself back into balance. Both feet are firmly on the ground.”

7. Make a Course Correction:

Imagine that your Soul is opening your Heart center and connecting with it. Feel the light within you getting stronger and allow your Soul to make the necessary changes. This is your garden. Your way. The way that your heart is guided to create – free of this emotional conflict.

Next, take a deep breath and relax your body. Allow your Soul to download its resources – its wisdom and awareness for creating your highest good:

“I am filled with the wisdom of my spirit.”

Take note of where you feel this new awareness moving through your body. Allow yourself to enjoy it.

8. Say Good-bye to Old Pathways of Conflicts.

Before you go – close the doors to all that suffering so you don’t keep recycling finished business!

Use these positive affirmations to help you:

“I seal and heal all pathways that lead back to conflicts, punishments and suffering.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Congratulations!

Now is a good time to get out into nature. Go for a walk or do something you enjoy. The time you take for yourself now will help you move beyond emotional conflict and into fully embodied action.

Transformation Game - Staying Empowered

Staying Empowered (even when things are falling apart) ~

“If you’re experiencing a situation where there’s a great deal of societal upheaval and discord, the situation may well be in the flow of the I Ching Hexagram #23 – DETERIORATION. Other signs or symptoms would include:

  • incompetence,
  • arguments,
  • blow ups and break ups,
  • power grabs or
  • illness due to being in a toxic environment.

If this fits what you’re going through, be extra cautious about how you spend your energy, time or money. Reckless expenditures, whether they be financial, emotional or spiritual, are much more likely to result in loss at this time. 

The best thing to do when dealing with deteriorating situations is to step back and get perspective from your Soul. Take care of yourself very sensibly and examine your reactions carefully. Be generous and kind to those you care about.

Remember that confusion is the ideal atmosphere for tricksters, abusers and despots. The ego runs rampant and doesn’t want to let go. Meditate, gather  and remind yourself that all things must end. There will eventually come a change for the better. 

If you deal with DETERIORATION with an attitude of revenge or resentment, you will deplete yourself by giving the situation more fuel, which is probably exactly the reaction your ego wants. Your good intentions are better served by keeping yourself centered and grounded. 

Here is some help through a Transformation Game called Staying Empowered.”

Gently gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles™ one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This self-care process helps you to become aware of what’s bothering you, so that you can make a different choice about how to use your energy more productively and in tune with your Inner Guidance.

 Step 1:

What is a situation around you now that is in the flow of DETERIORATION? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

 

Step 2:

What truth are you having trouble communicating in this situation?

RCK Throat Chakra Healing

 

Step 3:

What is the feeling that tends to pull you into that situation?

G 39 Emotional Healing

Once you’ve identified what you’re feeling, take a moment and relax into it.

“I accept that this feeling is present and that eventually it will change. All things change eventually.”

The more you relax and accept, the faster and easier it will be for you to make corrections on the deeper levels you’re looking for.

Step 4:

Epigenetic Healing - Divine Nature ActivatedThe next few symbols are from Divine Nature Activated and will help you release negative conditioning and stimulate some epigenetic healing. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is relaxing, healing and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe as you use each affirmation:

“I let go of seeing myself as weak or powerless. I reclaim and maintain my connection to the Divine.”

 

 “I let go of rigid ideas that have changed or proven to be false. I don’t have to be right.” 

“I let go of needing to control the situation so that I can focus on solutions that are truthful and serve my highest good.”

 

“I let go of societal patterns of fear, violence and corruption. I hold the victory of love in mind.”

DNA - Guidance from Angelic Realms

 

“I see myself outside of the pattern of intolerance. I acknowledge and respect my fellow brothers and sisters.”

 

“I ask the Divine to lead me to common ground.”

 

Step 5:

Now that you’ve cleared that energy, ask your inner guidance:

“Are there any aspects of me that have become scattered or disempowered?”

If there are, call them back now.

 

Step 6:

It’s time to get more present and heart centered: 

“I am fully present inside my body. I organize my awareness around ________.”

 

“The light in my heart center is strong and radiating out into the world.”

If you’re having trouble, it can help to take several deep breaths. Inhale on the count of 4. Exhale on the count of six. Open and close your fingers. If you feel a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #4 and repeat the process of relaxing and dissipating the negative DNA patterns.

 

Step 7:

Now that you’re fully present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me with staying empowered?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

 

 Step 8:

Staying empowered is much easier when you don’t let things stick to you. Consciously let go of any issues that aren’t yours and peel off any sticky energy that comes from your deteriorating situation.

“I let go of whatever doesn’t belong to me. I send it back to where it needs to go to resolve itself.”

 

Step 9:

Dissolve destructive blueprints using these affirmations:

“I allow my mind to let go of any attachments to the past or the future that I’m still holding onto. I see those patterns like dark clouds dissolving into a clear, blue sky.”

“I dissolve negative templates, attitudes and behaviors that cause me harm.”

 

Step 10. AurasThis is the final step to your game, but it’s very important!

You will want to keep your auras close to your body whenever you want to stay empowered. That’s because your auras provide protection. When they’re strong and focused, they can repel toxicity and keep your energy from mixing up with other people.

So, to finish this game, gaze softly at this Circle for as long as you need to repair and refocus them. Use this affirmation if you like:

“My auras are very strong and focused. I naturally keep them close to my body.”

 

Congratulations!

Staying empowered is essential in times of DETERIORATION. Remember the transformation isn’t complete until you’ve taken the action you were guided to take in Step #7. If you like, you may go through this healing meditation again around other issues that are falling apart.  Be sure to rest though and take good care of yourself!

Untangling Family Relationship Issues

Mind Exercise: Clearing Emotional Entanglements from Family Relationship Issues

Family Relationship IssuesEmotional entanglements that come from family relationship issues can be very stubborn and you may feel powerless.

Sometimes there’s so much going on the dynamics of a person’s childhood, it seems impossible to let go of all the conditioning and allow something different to happen in adult life. 

There is a way through to free yourself and get some relief using the Intuitive Learning Circles™ and positive affirmations with your imagination.


Step One: Think about the relationship issues in your life that just don’t ever seem to get better. They could be relationships in love, friendship, business, or just about anything! Use this Circle to help you visualize the nature of the issues from a larger perspective.

How would you describe your experience? You might want to quickly journal your answer so that you can express it later through writing, art, music, movement or sharing your story with others.

 

Step Two: When dealing with emotional pain, breathing always helps. Gaze softly at the Circle and breathe in on the count of three. One…two…three.
Exhale to the count of six. One…two…three…four…five…six.
Do this as many times as you like. Breathing in and letting go. 

Imagine that the pain around the relationship issues you’re dealing with is like a huge iceberg. Visualize it melting, moving and breaking apart until your energy relaxes. Feel free to move at any time in any way to help you embody your experience. Continue until you feel a palpable release of tension.

Use this Circle to help you clear away any debris or garbage that’s leftover once the ice has melted. You can imagine a broom just sweeping it all away to the Sun!

 

Step Three: In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the second level needs are safety oriented. They include protection from the elements, security, order, law, stability and freedom from fear. Family relationship issues often involve these needs. Second level needs are primarily processed through the 2nd Chakra (located approximately 2 – 3 inches down from your navel).

Gaze softly at the Second Chakra Key below for a minute or so. Then ask yourself: “Are these relationship issues having a negative affect on my safety and security needs? Are they causing a problem in any of my current relationships? Is my Second Chakra holding some of that energy?” 

Am I having difficulty accessing information, connection or trust? Do I need chakra healing here? if so, what would help me to bring my 2nd Chakra in balance?

 

Step Four: Now we’re going to clear some emotional entanglements around this situation. Meditate on the Circle below and imagine that you’re on your path, looking to create satisfying relationships, yet for some reason, you can’t see your way. Perhaps the path is blank, crowded or dark or has you feeling anxious and unsafe. Maybe it’s filled with junk, obstructions or debris. Maybe it doesn’t seem to be there at all! How frustrating it is to feel like this when you would really like to have things be different for you now!

Ask yourself, “What do I need to do to make my path clear?” Gather up unconscious information.

 

 

The Essential HumanStep Five: Let’s suppose that by going through the following sequence of symbols from The Essential Human, you’ll be able clear up the path and see what you need to do to help yourself.

 

Look at this symbol for a few moments and imagine that you’re untangling a messy string of lights that could light up your path. Stay with it until the lights are all straightened out and ready to be hung.

 

 

Imagine that you’re in a playground with dozens of little children fighting and bullying each other. As you look at this symbol, imagine that you’re ringing a bell or blowing a horn. As if awakened from a nightmare, the children change their demeanor. Some start to play quietly with each other. Some leave entirely and some of them come up to you and begin playing nicely.

 

Imagine that you’re now at a garden party where lots of couples are dancing.  Suddenly, the center of the garden is filled with a pile of wriggling snakes, ruining everyone’s time! Use the symbol and ring the bell again. You can see the snakes disappearing into thin air. If there are any openings that the snakes got in through, see them close completely. Life has returned to the party!

 

Now imagine that this symbol represents the denial or resistance around your family’s relationship issues.  Use this affirmation to clear up the resistance:

“I remove all false information. I now perceive the truth about me.”

 

Look at the Circle and ask your heart, “Am I present and in my own space? Or am I somewhere else?

Consciously decide to be present, in your own body, your own space, using your own energy.

 

Look at this Circle and ask yourself, “Am I accessing my own karma or someone else’s to create relationships? Has someone dumped their karma on me? Is someone accessing my karma without my permission?”

Affirm to yourself: “I decide to use only my karma to create my relationships. I naturally deflect other people’s karma and return it to them. I am in charge of how my karma is used.”

“Since I don’t know how this suffering came to be, I forgive all transgressions.”

 

Step Six: Now that you’ve cleared some major entanglements, bring your senses into balance. Some may be turned up too high or some too low. 

“I see things as they really are.”

Imagine the pathway for creating your satisfying relationships again. How has it changed? Is it clearer? Does it feel better? More real? Is it your path?

 

Step Seven: Put it all together now. What do you need to do differently in your life to create the relationships you really want?

 

Check in with your Second Chakra again for a minute or so. Ask yourself: “Is the original relationship issue still having a negative affect on my safety and security needs? Is my Second Chakra holding energy from that situation now?”

“Does my chakra need balancing now? Do I need Epigenetic Healing from Divine Nature Activated? What else might help me?”

 

Make an agreement with yourself to follow through on the information you’ve gained through this exercise. Then close the door on all pathways that might lead you back to suffering.

How To Do the Right Thing in Relationships

Do you ever have the feeling that you’re about to say or do something that you’ll regret? If you could do the right thing, what would it be?

Do the Right ThingIn any kind of close relationship, there’s often a false perception that the other person somehow understands what our motivations are – that they know what we really mean, even if we’re angry. Perhaps because we feel so close to them, we make a lot of assumptions. That can be a very dangerous game!

 

Help Me Do The Right Thing!

Note: This exercise is associated with the I Ching Hexagrams #6 CONFLICT, #38 CONTRADICTION and #43 RESOLUTION:

You can help yourself find emotional healing by taking this quick relationship quiz. The person or group you’re struggling with may not know how to interact with you because of mixed messages or unresolved issues from your past. By taking the time to go within and find out what part you’re playing in the game, you can understand what’s motivating you so you can do the right thing to resolve the situation. Remember, actions speak louder than words!

The way to play this game is to relax and breathe deeply while you meditate on the questions and suggestions that accompany the Circles. This first one will help you to slow down and let yourself focus on one thing at a time.

“I slow down and relax.”

 

Once you’re relaxed, go through the rest of the quiz in the same way – asking yourself the questions while you gaze softly at the accompanying Circle. Take your time, the answers might not come right away. The Circles are helping your mind to clear away mental and emotional clutter.

“What do I want to do?” 

“Have I made a decision that’s in CONFLICT with what I really want to do? If so, can I tell what it is?”

 

Is there an agreement I have with anyone involved that’s causing a conflict?

“If so, what can I say or do to remain loyal to myself?

 

“What things have I been saying to myself or others about this situation? Is that really true? What do I really mean?”

“What might help me respond better in this situation?”

 

“What am I assuming about the situation or the other people involved?” 

“Is that a helpful assumption to be making in the long run?”

“What might work better?”

 

“How am I getting thrown off?”

Is there an obsession or compulsion involved?

Continue your inquiry:

“Am I anticipating a problem? What am I afraid will happen?”

Relax for a few minutes and let the Circle help you calm down with this affirmation: “I decide to anticipate a positive outcome.”

 

“What do I need to do for this to change for the better?”

“Do I need to say anything to the other party to make myself clear?”

 

“Am I willing to do what would be required for this to change in a positive, meaningful way?”

Miracles - Channels of Love

If you are willing, ask for help from your Soul resources or angelic guidance.

If you’re not, this is a good opportunity to explore what’s really motivating you.

 

Imagine that you can release any old agreements, assumptions or grudges that are keeping this CONFLICT going. Visualize them like contracts, burning up into nothingness.

“I let go of outdated agreements, assumptions, contradictions, compulsions, obsessions or taking things personally.”

“I let go of the need to hold onto the conflict in this situation.”

Make some new agreements that support your true desire, like:

“My Soul is in charge and I forgive myself. I choose my words wisely. I set the other party free to do things their own way without me,” etc.

It’s time to bring RESOLUTION to the various mental and emotional behaviors that feed the CONFLICT. Use this symbol to dissolve destructive blueprints that are causing you harm.

“I release all behaviors to react out of fear, obligation, revenge or disdain.”

“I dissolve the guilt and resentment and send them to the Sun.”

Take your time and visualize them dissolving like dark clouds into a pure, blue sky.

Next, seal and heal any leaks or attachments that may lead you back into CONFLICT.

“All holes are sealed and healed. All pathways that lead to CONTRADICTIONS and CONFLICT are closing. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Make a RESOLUTION to overcome your difficulties by making progress in a unified and productive direction. Gently formulate some positive affirmations about how you can do the right thing in a way that will really benefit you. For example:

“I make a RESOLUTION to grow in the direction of my general good.”

Finally, let your Throat Chakra balance out and support you in your new RESOLUTION!

Resolving Shock and Confusion

This mind exercise uses the Intuitive Learning Circle™ method for resolving shock when you are:

  • Unable to relax tension or feelings of restlessness
  • Caught in a “blank” or confused state of mind

Resolving Shock and ConfusionAny person involved in a traumatic event could experience disorientation, numbness, mental confusion or fragmentation. They might even disconnect and leave their body. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. These are all ways that the unconscious mind protects us during a traumatic event.

Sometimes people who’ve experienced a shocking event will tell you that they’re fine and not to worry about them. That’s because one of the main symptoms of being in shock is not being aware of being in shock. Why is that? During a shock, the mind goes blank as a form of protection.

Contrary to popular opinion, having a shock response is not a sign of spiritual weakness. It is a physiological event. Nevertheless, if the person doesn’t get a chance to get grounded in their body again – or if they’re not able to – serious problems may develop. Blocked energy and a constant state of fight or flight takes its toll over time. Statements like: “I can’t think straight,” “my life was shattered” or “I feel disconnected” describe the experience of shock.

If any of the above seems familiar, you can go through this mind exercise step by step to help you access your own innate healing abilities and bring yourself back into balance.

Simply follow the directions and see if you can free up some of the confusion and conflict that comes from shock.

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

 


Resolving Shock and Confusion

Step One:

Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that releases shock and inner conflict.

Imagine you can use it to focus in on a conflict or rigid thought that’s blocking your way. If your mind is blank, focus on how “blank” it is. You may get a conscious image or message, or you may not.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine you can send a beam of light directly to it. Allow your laser beam to break up the fixation until it’s gone.

Check for other blockages or conflicts that you can do the same with.

Step Two:

The next step is to bring your senses into balance so that you can see and hear things without the distortion that often accompanies shock.

As you breathe deeply, let this Circle help you to adjust the volume and pitch of your senses to just the right level for you.

Soon you will be able to hear that “calm, gentle voice” inside that reminds you about what matters the most to you:

“I see things as they really are. My senses are balanced.”

“I reconnect with what matters the most.”

Step Three:

If your gut feels tight or uncomfortable, use this Circle to help you relax in your solar plexus and get back into balance there.

“It’s safe. I can feel safe again.”

Step Four:

Sometimes a person who’s coming out of shock will be disoriented and feel a bit “out of their body.” In case that’s happening with you, take a few minutes to consciously bring yourself back into your body.

“I am at home in my center. I am inside myself.”

Close your hands into fists and then stretch them out wide several times. Wiggle your toes around. Notice the time and where you are. These actions all help whenever you’re resolving shock.

Step Five:

The next thing is to make sure you’re grounded. Without proper grounding, you could be flying all over the place, wasting your time and not getting anything constructive done. That’s the last thing you want right now!

Let this Circle for grounding help you. Place both feet on the ground and your hands on each knee while you use these affirmations:

“I uproot whatever is confusing me.”

“I decide to get grounded. The Earth supports me.”

Step Six:

Oftentimes, resolving shock and confusion requires a change in priorities. There may be certain plans, ideas or habitual patterns that make you feel trapped or confused. You can use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to help you identify them and dissolve whatever is confusing you.

Simply imagine that the negative patterns in your mind are like dark clouds or a jumbled maze of lines, dead ends and cages.

Once you have the image, bring the pure light of the Sun in and dissolve the maze completely.

Step 7:

The next step is to seal and heal any holes, leaks or openings in your energy field. These openings may lead to danger or allow harmful energies to attach to you.

As you gaze at the Circle, imagine harmful leaks and openings are closing as if they were never there.

“All holes are healed and sealed.”

“I follow the protection of healthy direction.”

Step 8.

To finish this exercise, let your heart recover. This Circle will help you to balance your heart energy and clear away any residual heaviness. Breathe deeply and take your time.

“I feel the heaviness lifting up out of my heart.”

“I let it go and send it to the Sun where it can be transformed.”

“I choose to be happy and healthy.”

“I resolve the conflicts and confusion.”

“I live from the heart.”

I Ching Reading - Adapting to Success

“Experiences from your past or family of origin have shaped your imagination and fostered limiting beliefs about what is possible. If you look around you right now, you may realize that most everything you see has been influenced by the tastes and tendencies that began in your childhood. In your adult life, you will need to expand your imagination to find your way to creating the happiness you desire.

Tune Into the Kind of Emotional Energy That Will Take You Where You Really Want to Go ~

Sometimes people have been conditioned so deeply to be afraid or negative, they aren’t really sure what to do when things are going well. The way you view yourself and what you think you’re capable of is colored by habitual behaviors learned in early love relationships as well as childhood experiences. You may simply be struggling with old programs, entanglements and destructive tendencies. However, there is a simple way to change the emotional energy you’re tapping into using these Intuitive Learning Circles™ with your imagination.

Step One: Adapting to Success Begins with Awareness

Think about how things were communicated to you when you were little. Use this symbol to help you tap into the problem so that you can clear it out. Ask yourself:

Would it be good to take a few breaths and slow down? Would some movement be helpful? Gaze at the Circle with soft eyes and ask yourself:

“What does adapting to success mean to me in this situation?”

What’s really important here? What will help me?”

“Am I just getting sucked into an old habit?”

 

Step Three:

Empower yourself to follow your own advice. Let this Circle help you come up with the very best scenario that you can imagine*.

“What is the very best thing I could ask for?”

Write down your request, in your own words. Then imagine your request. See it, hear it, taste it, smell it and feel it as specifically as you can.

*If you’re having trouble imagining anything or your mind is going blank, you have probably accessed an inner conflict. Gaze softly at this Circle, relax and let the lines get all wavey. Continue to breathe while you gently release the conflict(s). Once the energy calms down, go back to Step Three and ask the question again.

Congratulations! You now know what the pattern is and how you would like it to change. This is an important first step in the process of ADAPTING to success.”

It will probably take more than one symbol to activate the energy. With each new symbol imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is replacing it – healing and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe while you affirm your intention:

Learning Difficulties – The Genius of Thinking Differently

Do You Struggle with Learning Difficulties?

I’ve learned from experience that what others may call a disease or disability can become the foundation for brilliance, innovation and thinking outside the box.

I was raised in a time before ADD, ADHD or Dyslexia were considered diseases. In the fifties and early sixties, kids like me didn’t have learning difficulties, we were simply labelled slow, troublemakers or stupid. Judging from the amount of time I spent in the principle’s office, I was probably put into the troublemaker category pretty early on!

Learning Difficulties - Left HandedI remember when I was just beginning to learn how to write my name in cursive. I was trying to figure out which hand worked better making all those loops and curly-ques. While experimenting with my left hand, my second grade teacher came over to me and plucked the pencil right out of my hand. “You don’t want to use that hand,” she barked, “only bad people are left handed.”

I didn’t like that teacher much (for obvious reasons) so, at that moment I made a decision. I was going to be left-handed just to spite her! To this day, I am quasi-ambidextrous – I write with my left hand and do just about everything else with my right.

Similarly, I had learning difficulties getting my b’s and d’s right. They always seemed to get mixed up in my mind. I was restless in class because I had trouble concentrating and following what the teacher said was unbearable to me. In my early 20’s I even experienced stuttering because I literally couldn’t think of anything to say when in conversation. My mind would go completely blank, which was humiliating to me.

I know that most of the time, advice from teachers, family and friends was meant to help. They just couldn’t understand why I had learning difficulties or what to do about them. Unfortunately, having a mind that’s wired differently meant that techniques that worked well for others, didn’t work well for me.

Much later in life, I started to accept that doing things the way that other people did them just wasn’t going to work for me. I was eventually forced to accept that my learning difficulties had to do with early childhood trauma when a family crisis put me into a full-fledged case of PTSD.

It took me quite a while to get my bearings again, but once I decided that it was okay to be different, outside of the approval of my family, my life took a sharp turn for the better. I stopped beating myself up and started to embrace the things that came naturally to me. I went into bodywork and somatic education together with hypnotherapy and mind/body energy work. I began to experience a satisfaction and success that I had never known before. Finally, I was allowing the way I was wired to lead me into exciting new fields of discovery and innovation!

I set to work learning about and putting together techniques from many different disciplines to help me and my clients, many of whom were highly sensitive people with similar learning difficulties. I developed a whole system of tools for better focus and concentration using muscle testing. I’ve also found that they can help with emotional healing, reducing stress and providing a way to activate advanced states of intuition and creativity.

Primary Chakra LocationsYour 2nd chakra is located approximately 2-3 inches directly down from your navel.

It’s the energy plexus where emotions, digestion and immunity all come together. When it gets out of balance or entangled with toxic pollutants, your physical, emotional and spiritual health can be impacted in a negative way.

Gaze softly at the Reiki Chakra Key below to help you balance and gather up physiological information that will help you organize your space in a way that helps you feel safe and healthy.

The environment in your second chakra is very important to your self-care and emotional healing. When it’s balanced and healthy, it transmits a vibrant orange energy that attracts belonging and support. It’s also your creative center, the place where you generate your personal mana or creative energy. If it becomes stagnant, goes into shock or gets caught up in emotional entanglements, your physical, emotional and spiritual health suffers. In today’s environment, that is something that most of us are experiencing. This simple feng shui exercise is designed to help you go within and come up with important resources for staying healthy.

Creating Internal Safety is based on SOS Mind Exercise #8: Setting Up a Safe Space

Creating Internal Safety by Setting Up a Safe Space In Creating Internal Safety, you’ll be utilizing your intuitive insight to implement very simple changes that can make a world of difference in how you’re creating stability and safety in your personal space. You’ll discover that your intuition and unconscious mind are much more aware of whats going on than your conscious mind is!

Go through this mind exercise by reading each step and then gazing softly at the Circle that goes with it to gain insight about what creative changes you can make in your internal and/or external environment that will help you.


1. The goal of Creating Internal Safety is for you to get clarity about how well your personal space is supporting you and what you can do to make improvements. You might get insights about your body or your external environment. After all, they are connected and this is an important time to become aware of them.

First, take some time to slow down while you gaze softly at the Circle. Breathe in and out several times. Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw. 

Move around and stretch if you need to.

 

Now that you’re more relaxed, imagine you can see the space within your Second Chakra (remember, that’s located about 2″ below your navel).

Zoom in, like a camera. See or sense it moving in slow motion.

What do you notice? Go ahead and make notes about what you sense.

 

2. Gaze at this Circle for Divine Protection and ask for help so that you can get more aware.

Let’s start with very simple questions that we take one at a time…

Is there anything in your personal space or immediate environment that could be triggering an unsettling reaction in you?

  • Is something missing? Is something present that shouldn’t be?
  • Is there any toxic build up?
  • What else do you notice that doesn’t seem right? Make notes so that you’ll remember.

3. Physical objects in your external space carry a lot of energy through them, especially if they have been gifted to you or are second hand pieces. These could be books, equipment, furniture, pictures and other objects of art. Are there any objects in your home or office that are having a negative effect on you? If so, can you identify them?

What would remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, rearranged, cleaned or removed completely? Can something be brought in to remedy the situation?

 

4. You could be preoccupied by other things that are causing you to be anxious. Like many of us, you may be reorganizing your work/living arrangements. Let this Circle help you relax and answer questions about how you need to nurture yourself now, under your new circumstances:

“Is there something I can let go of that will help ease the situation? If so, what is it and where is it located?”

“Have I forgotten something that I need to add to my space?”

“Is there anything else?”

Many times after a significant change, it’s a great help to rearrange or clean out certain areas of our homes. Especially crystals. Read more about that here…

Feng shui tradition also suggests to find at least twelve objects to move. This Circle may help you come up with the objects that would be most helpful for you to move!

Old Soul

 

4. Now that you’ve considered your external environment, it’s time to check in with your body. Take a minute and use this next Circle to tune into yourself: What emotion is running through you? Is it throwing you off balance?

Is that emotion helpful or harmful to you?

If it’s harmful, you might be experiencing a compulsion, obsession or phobia from the collective unconscious. If that’s happening, release your agreement to carry it any longer.

 

6. Is there anything else that’s irritating you?

Identify it if you can.

What will remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, cleaned, cleared or rearranged? Does anything need to be removed completely?

Is there anything else?

 

7. Is there anything that you could bring into your space or your diet that would help you be happier or more creative?

Would anything increase your good health or emotional stability?

Could anything be done to increase your sense of safety?

What might you add that would bring more beauty into your space?

Is there anything else you need to know?

 

You can finish the game today by closing the door to any old pathways to suffering. Then remind yourself that your personal space belongs to you. How you take care of it has a profound effect on the rest of your life!
