How to Take Good Care of Yourself

During this pandemic, we’re all learning what we need to do to take good care of ourselves. The path of MODERATION is often the key.

There is no shortage of information and advice out there about what we should and should not do to take care of ourselves. Early on in my experience as a medical intuitive, I discovered that there is no “one way” to protect ourselves or heal that works for everyone. We are all unique individuals with our own strengths, weaknesses and preferences – our own karma, if you will.

I also learned that what works today may not work tomorrow. That has to do with circumstances; there may be a spiritual or emotional blockage that needs to be released first. There could be underlying toxins in the system, the timing may not be right or the body could be so challenged by something like the coronavirus that it’s unable to communicate properly.

So, given all the variables present in this extremely difficult time, how can you take good care of yourself?

A New Perspective from an Old Friend

She has been helping us to transition from the old paradigm based on greed and fear to a new paradigm of co-operation and sustainable prosperity. Her advice on how to take good care of yourself springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of divination that follows the flow of the cosmos. Because of that, her insight comes from a different perspective than ours.

Now let this Circle help you balance all of your senses so that you are listening to your own body, instead of all that discordant noise from the outside world! The volume may be turned up too high, or it could be too low.

Take several breaths and relax. Breathing into your belly and exhaling long and slow. This is helpful to every part of your nervous system.

“I listen to my heart. I notice my breath. I move my body around and stretch.”

“I activate my intuition and use it in balance with other aspects of learning, such as common sense, logic, observation and instinct.”

In stressful times, it’s pretty common for the Essential Self to get closed off, misplaced or dissociated. You can correct that now.

Transformation Game - Take Good Care of Yourself

“In difficult times, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where ‘The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.’ ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

The ancient Chinese text describes MODERATION as the best way to make progress by disengaging from harmful extremes and following the truth and guidance that comes from within. In almost any situation, if you’re able to walk a moderate and middle road, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

Finding Moderation and Following that Path ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is a sensible flow to follow whenever there’s too much chaos and confusion for you to tell what’s going on. In the midst of chaos, unpreferred karma (cause and effect) can be easily triggered. For many people, soul contracts have been completed and need to be released to prevent unnecessary danger. As a result, they are probably either:

  1. Feeling threatened, at risk or censured,
  2. Stuck in the desire to return to the way things were,
  3. Caught in the chaos of things splitting apart, or
  4. Seeking harmony and balance by letting go of extremes.

As you softly gaze at this Circle that accesses karmic seeds, see if you’re currently experiencing one of these forms of karma. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing situation #1, 2, 4 or 4?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Whatever it is, you can take good care of yourself by letting go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that’s causing you harm in any way. This game will help you do that. 


Let Go So You Can Bring In New Ways to Take Good Care of Yourself.

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. It can be helpful to imagine that each agreement is like a lock attached to every vertebrae of your spine. To let go, start at the bottom of the line and move up your spine – unlocking any harmful agreements as you go all the way to the top of your neck. Here are some examples:

“I unlock any agreement to sacrifice my health or place myself in harms way.”

“I let go of any lies, poor guidance or assumptions that block my ability to heal.”

“I discontinue activities or beliefs that put me at risk.”

“I release pathways, concepts and patterns of behavior that lead to conflict, confusion, hardship, over-indulgence or ________, etc.”

“I decide to gently integrate healthier patterns that upgrade my happiness and well-being – in accordance with my highest good.” 

 

This is a good opportunity to clear your inner garden of any outdated intentions or energies that interfere with your health or happiness.

As you look at this Reiki Key, allow your heart center to clear away any hurtful entanglements or conflicts. Include old resentments or grievances with family, friends or business relationships. Clear out harmful energies from religious institutions, cults or political parties. Release attachments to completed projects, places you’ve lived, outmoded forms of transportation, communication, consumerism or business, etc.

By letting go of all that clutter, you free up a lot of energy that’s better spent on your health and vitality.

Because of the chaos involved, there aren’t many guarantees out there. Making any kind of reliable prediction is next to impossible. You’re going to need all the presence and energy you have to help you during times such as these. Gently look at the next Circle while you affirm these positive affirmations:

“My new agreement is to stay present in my body and follow my inner guidance – calmly and honestly.”

“I am flexible and able to adapt.”

“I notice disturbances in my health. I ask for and receive reliable help when I need it.”

“I make wise choices about my health and well-being.”

“I let go of ______.   I prepare for ______.

I take care of ______.   I am open to ______.”

 

“I make a choice to focus my attention on hope, health and sustainable prosperity.”

 

“I nurture my body, mind and spirit healthfully, in alignment with my highest good.”

Take time to let your energy re-organize (it helps to have your feet on the ground). Once you feel steady, ask yourself: “Are there any habits or behaviors that would be helpful for me to change?”

 

Are there any foods, especially herbs, teas, vegetables or fruits that would benefit me? Am I getting enough fresh water?

Is there anything I’m consuming that’s causing a problem?

 

Are there any activities I’m planning that would be dangerous?”

If so, can I tell what they are? How can I follow a more MODERATE and beneficial path?

 

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of self-sabotage or any societal or familial pattern that still affects your health in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve destructive energy and any connection I have ever had to it.”

“I dissolve ___________________.”

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to extremes and danger.

“I decide to close the door on harmful pathways. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

At this point, you’re probably feeling much calmer and more in balance. Finish with this affirmation:

“I am grounded in gratitude and appreciation for the help I receive.” 

Congratulations!

Take Good Care of Yourself

Learning how to take good care of yourself at this time is an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of fear and conflict. May we all arise from those patterns, much as a beautiful lotus arises from the muck and mire at the bottom of a pond.”

 Now is a good time to move around or take a nice walk if you can. Enjoy being out in the Sun and fresh air.

Learning How to Change

Transformation Game: Learning How To Change in a Changing World

If you’re like most of us, you’re probably going through a surreal period of rapid and sudden changes in your life. You might feel immobilized, or frustrated about how to change effectively when so much of “normal” life is gone. Or you might be resisting the whole situation with every fiber in your body! 

Learning How to Change
“Should I stay in? Can I go out?”

The I Ching or Book of Change talks about the importance of being flexible and knowing how to change  in many of the 64 Hexagrams that teach us how to go with the flow of Life.

In Hexagram #49 CHANGING, the ancient text states: 

“…the time of CHANGING suggests that although you may not know what to do, you know that something must be done.”

Do You Know How To Change with the Changes or Are You Stuck in the Old?

You can discover how to change more gracefully by going through this Transformation Game associated with the I Ching Hexagrams #49 CHANGING and #51 SHOCKING.  By taking the time to go within,  you can gain a deeper understanding of what the resistance is about. Not only that, you can find the motivation to change how you’re responding in a more positive way!

Directions: Simply gaze at the Circle while contemplating the positive affirmations. Breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax as much as possible.

“I reclaim and balance my rational senses.”

“I focus them to be present and aware of my environment.”

“I use them to notice harmful thoughts or energies so that I can let them go.”

“I focus on actions that benefit my health and happiness.”

 

Once you feel ready, see if you can slow down and let yourself focus on one thing at a time.

“I continue to relax and breathe while my thoughts slow way down.”

Gently, bring your awareness to a specific area of life that is changing very quickly. What do you notice? You might want to make note of some of the impressions you get.

 

Now you’re ready to go through the rest of the game in the same way by asking yourself the questions while you gaze softly at the accompanying Circle. Take your time, the answers might not come right away. The Circles are helping your mind to clear away mental and emotional clutter.

“In this particular situation, am I changing with the changes?” 

Am I stuck on something? What is the concern?”

 

Whatever you’re stuck on, you could deal with it easily using this Circle that clears shock, resistance and fixated thinking.

Imagine that you can use the Circle like a bull’s eye to dissolve, melt or send a laser beam to break up any “hard thoughts” or fixations you may be experiencing.


An important note about Mind Body Integration ~ 

Retrain Your Mind for Mind Body IntegrationThe brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. As you work with the Circles, cross and uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body. Use a soft focus and breathe patiently. This will help you access your resistances more fully so that you can release more. Let any negative self-talk go by breathing through it.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you let go!


Continue with your investigation about how to change…

“Am I taking anything personally?”

You can usually tell if you’re internalizing something because you’ll start to experience physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual symptoms.

The Essential HumanIf that’s happening and you have an updated copy of The Essential Human, you might want to go through the Emotional Corrections on pages 97 – 101 to help you disengage from taking this situation so personally. You can use this positive affirmation:

“I stop taking this personally and open up to more positive ways of dealing with this particular situation.”

Imagine that you can release any old agreements, assumptions or obligations that are keeping you stuck. Visualize them like contracts, burning up into nothingness.

“I let go of outdated agreements to resist or to take on someone else’s resistance as my own.”

“I let go of the need to hold onto anything harmful in this situation.”

Make some new agreements that support how to change more appropriately, like:

“I choose to see this situation in a positive light.” or… “I am capable and my Spirit helps me to handle change… I am free to change in accordance with my highest good… I allow other people to handle their own resistance…” etc.

 

Connect with the Third Chakra at your Solar Plexus and let it open up. Relax and let the tightness go. Deep breathing is your best friend in times of change! Move around or stretch if you like.

 

Give yourself a good dose of courage with the help of this Circle:

“I surround myself with courage, strength and determination.”

 

Imagine that this Circle can help you find the seeds of the resistance you’re feeling. They’re probably not even yours! Let them go back to wherever they came from.

Reclaim your own seeds of acceptance and nurture them gently.

 

Now it’s time to dissolve your connection to any of that old resistance. Use this symbol for Dissolving Destructive Blueprints and send all the patterns to the Sun!

“I dissolve the mental, emotional and spiritual connections to these patterns of resistance.”

Take your time and visualize them dissolving like dark clouds into a pure, blue sky.

 

Next, seal and heal all leaks, holes or pathways that lead to back to any unnecessary suffering:

“All holes are sealed and healed. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Are you grounded in the New Paradigm of cooperation and sustainable prosperity? If not, put your feet flat on the ground and let your energy organize around it now.

 

Finally, let your mindset align itself with gratitude and grace:

“I am grateful to be changing with the changes.”

Congratulations!

It’s rarely easy to let go of resistance, but once you know how to change with the changes, your situation is bound to improve! The I Ching leaves you with this thought:

“Remove discordant elements as they appear, throw out outmoded or stifling policies when they once again create problems, and establish far-reaching clarity about the future whenever the opportunity presents itself.” ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

If you’re like most people, you’ve been experiencing an unprecedented amount of change and are realizing that you need to review and reform your plan – or plans. Whether it’s an overall life trajectory or more specific plans about health, business or even creative projects, now is an opportune time to look at them and recalibrate.

This Transformation Game was put together to help you evaluate what’s working and what isn’t based on your new circumstances.

Use the Circle in this picture to help you focus on some initial questions to see if this Game would be useful to you:

“What are you building or trying to build?”

“Do you need to reform your plan in any way?”

“Do you have a solid plan? If so, is that plan sustainable?”

“Would you like a new plan that your Soul can really get behind?”

It could be that there’ve been so many changes, you need to scrap your old plan and start over! Hopefully, that’s not the case. However, it’s possible you simply need to focus in on your situation from a different angle or through a different filter.

Transformation Games can help you to identify problems, navigate change and clarify what’s really important to you. Simply relax and gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles while contemplating the accompanying positive affirmations about how your plan is working for you. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek. Examples:

Okay, so let’s take a look at how you’re currently perceiving your plan…

Step One: When evaluating your needs, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs works well to help you position your priorities accurately. Each level is naturally structured to give your plan the greatest stability and efficiency.  Let’s take a look at the different levels:

Briefly, the first level needs are physiological and biological. The second level is about safety and protection. The third level encompasses love and belonging. The fourth level focuses around self-esteem. At the top of the pyramid lies the needs for growth and self-actualization.

Are you currently seeing your needs correctly? Are they positioned correctly?

The triangle may be upside down or out of focus. The levels could be out of order or missing entirely. It might not even seem that it’s your plan at all! Use this Circle to help you rearrange them in your mind so that you can create your plan in a way that’s most likely to meet your needs.

Do that both crossed and uncrossed.

 

Step Two: Make sure that your plan is actually for you, based on what you need now, in present time.

Relax and let your 3rd Chakra get connected, open and balanced at your solar plexus (the area where your ribs go up in the front).

Your Essential Self is most efficiently located there to help you manifest, create happiness and maintain health.

In stressful times, it’s pretty common for the Essential Self to get closed off, misplaced or dissociated.

You can correct that now.

 

Step Four: Once you’re re-centered, clarify what your plan is really about.

Ask yourself: “Is this about a state of being or something specific I want to accomplish?

Is this really my plan, or someone else’s?

Is there something about the way things have been that I don’t want to go back to?

How would I really like my plan to help me and those I care about?

Am I currently using my time, finances and efforts productively?”

Make note of your answers.

 

Step Five: Uncover your awareness of any danger.

Gaze at this Circle that accesses your unconscious awareness of possible dangers that could be a problem for you now or in the future. Imagine that you can gather up that inner library of wisdom and see what you come up with. Take your time and let the information emerge. Ask yourself:

“Is there any danger? Is there anything or anyone involved in my plan that is dangerous to me? If so, where are they and how are they affecting me?”

“How much harm is this situation causing for me and for others?”

“Is there a particular action to take that would help?”

 

Step Six: Bring in your emotional filter and notice what you’re feeling in this situation.

“Are any emotions throwing me off?” 

“If so, what are they and what is it about them that doesn’t feel right?”

“Is there a better filter I could use that could help me be happier?”

“Do I believe that I have the power to change my emotional filters?”

“What is the best course of action?”

 

Step Seven: Are there outcomes you have agreements with that are no longer desirable?

If there are, this is a good time to release your agreement with them with this Soul Contract Circle. Be sure to release any agreements you have to punish or be hard on yourself for any reason.

Reform Your Plan by releasing Agreements

“I let go of complications, poor boundaries, intolerance, distractions, etc.

“I detach from harmful emotional filters and outcomes that no longer fit.”

“I free myself from the burdens of shame, blame or debt – always pushing to make things work.”

“My new agreement is to forgive myself for any mistakes made and start again with integrity and a clean slate.”

 

“I am encouraged and inspired to make new plans that will genuinely benefit me and those that I love in our new situation.”

 

“I make clear decisions about what I want to let go of for good and not return to.”

“I’m sure I want to let go of _______________.”

 

“I’ve learned my lessons about _______________.”

 

“I definitively decide to _______________.”

 

Step Eight: Are there methods or modalities you’ve been using (or not using) that need to be re-evaluated?

Can you identify what they are?

 

Step Nine: What have you learned over the course of recent events that you want to integrate into your consciousness?

Use this Circle to help you reorganize and reform your plan around this new level of awareness.

 

Step Ten: Imagine what could happen if you created your new plan around a central intention that brings you joy – like actualizing your true heart’s desire…

Bring the energy into your center first and then imagine your new intention radiating out into the world around you.

What does your heart tell you that you need to do?

 

Step Eleven:  Dissolve your connection to any old plans or pathways that are harmful. Be sure to send any leftover garbage to the Sun!

 

Step Twelve: Determine if it’s possible for your plan to be grounded in a New Paradigm of co-operation, equality and sustainable prosperity.

If it can’t, what would need to happen?

If it can, put both feet on the ground and see if the Circle can help you get your energy organized in a coherent and meaningful way. Once it feels organized, you should be able to ground. Take all the time that you need.

 

Step Thirteen: Now that you’ve reformed your plan, close the pathways in your mind that lead back to ways of being that no longer serve you.

“I close the door on all harmful pathways, leaks, gaps and holes.

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Having a clear plan that genuinely reflects your true heart’s desire is a key concept for living and prospering in the New Paradigm!

It’s a good idea to relax, go for a walk or exercise to help you integrate all this. Later, you may want to go into greater detail about your plan. When that happens, you’re welcome to continue your inquiry with the extra-intuitive activities below.

When you’re ready, continue the game for more information.

You could also draw, sketch, doodle or journal your desires in a stream of consciousness.

Once you’re ready, use this Circle to help you look at your general situation from an objective standpoint.

Can you tell what the main stepping stones are? What actions will you need to take realistically? Is there something that needs to be removed? Does something need to be added? Re-arranged? Re-organized? Write the information down, so that you don’t forget.

Next, calmly assess the details of your situation from an objective, cause and effect standpoint to see what’s really needed.

For example, sometimes we want to take a specific action, but it really isn’t for us to do….

“Is there a particular action I want to take, but it isn’t meant for me to do?”

Would I actually be causing myself or other people harm if I were to do it anyway?

 

Get into even more detail…

“If I take this action, that response is liable to occur.”

Take your time, and go through the different scenarios you may be considering. Sort them into “no”, “maybe”, and “yes” categories.

This Circle is about having fun. Have you incorporated enough fun and enjoyment into your plan?

Otter Medicine

Send your energy to the center of the Circle like throwing a ball into a hoop and having it come back to you. Relax and play with that for awhile!

As you play with the energy, some fun activities or ideas may come to you.

“What would be fun?”

One of the goals of playing this Transformation Game is to cut through STAGNATION and the illusion created from this destructive pattern.

The false narrative of ‘thoughts and prayers’ after a devastating act of violence is an expression of this apathetic energy. Those who utilize it want to keep the status quo intact, so they spread it on thick to block appropriate action. The grief, the feigned hurt feelings, the guilt, shame and righteous indignation. You’ve been there, right? We’ve all been there. In fact, we’ve all been there for years! 

Unfortunately, when nothing is done, we resort to comforting ourselves with things. Comfort food, comfort drinks, comfort distractions. We self-medicate. We feel shut down, trapped and hopeless. Like being in a kind of psychic mud hole. Nothing gets done and nothing changes for the better.

Take a moment to meditate on the symbol and really get a feel for it. Once your unconscious mind identifies it, you’ll have a much easier time recognizing and dispelling it.

6. With this Circle, find any whirlpools or drains that could suck you back into the STAGNATION or any old patterns of danger or inaction. See them close completely.

 

 

7. Find any energetic opening(s) that leave you open and vulnerable to the destructive patterns and close them completely.

In this process, you will clear karmic entanglements that have outlived their purpose and become a burden to your evolution. They’re important to clear because as long as the agreement isn’t resolved, the karma is still entangled and your mental continuum continues to behave as if the agreement were still in force. This causes a lot of unnecessary suffering for you and those around you.

What Are Karmic Entanglements?

Let me give you an example: A woman who was having trouble feeling settled in her life decided to try playing the game. While going through it, she glimpsed impressions from another life, seeing bare feet and a beat up old suitcase. Later on while she was dreaming, she saw herself clearly living a past life as a Hungarian orphan in Nazi Germany.

In her dream of that life, she was continually used as a slave and moved from place to place without being able to feel safe. She was eventually turned in to a work camp and lost her life without having any control at all.

As the woman brought herself back into her present life, she realized she was still operating under the cultural agreements that were in force back at that time.

Through the safety of this simple Transformation Game, she could release the shame, guilt and collective karma that was forced upon her. Gently, it brought her patterns of lack and uncertainty into consciousness so that she could relax and choose to move into a happier, more productive life.

Easy Steps to Play the Game:

  1. Select an issue that’s causing a blockage in your mental continuum. Use it as a springboard to accelerate your spiritual growth and prepare you for your next step on your healing journey.
  2. Follow directions to release your connection to negative influences from the past.
  3. Read each step with its question or affirmation, one at a time.
  4. Think about it while looking with a soft gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circle that goes with it.
  5. Remember to RELAX! The Circles and symbols help you to access a light hypnotic trance where you can access your akashic records and gently clear harmful karmic entanglements so you can make room for positive, proactive change.

What is a situation in your life that distresses you? Gaze softly at the Circle below and relax as you contemplate that thought…

Step Two:

As you gaze at this symbol, imagine that you are scanning for information in your unconscious mind.

“Is this situation interfering with me on a karmic level?”

“Am I taking on karma from others?”

“is this actually my problem or someone else’s?”

 

 

Step Three:

Use this Intuitive Learning Circle that accesses agreements being held deep within your nervous system. With it, you can release karmic agreements you may have with others that keep you entangled with them. Imagine that the agreements are like contracts being thrown into a fire and burning up.

“I release any obligation, contract, debt or threat that would compel me to take on the karma of others in the past, present or future.”

“I release any debt, curse or obligation that is secretly affecting me.”

“I let go of any harm I’m unwittingly participating in.”

Step Four:

Now it’s time to handle the thoughts behind the entanglements. Use the Circle below to gather information about past thoughts and beliefs about this situation. Are you tapping into someone else’s thoughts or emotions in any way? Are you resonating with an energy that is causing you harm? If you are, use the Circle below to see if you can pull yourself out of harm’s way by disconnecting from that energy. 

 

 

Step Five:

Are you feeding harmful karma with your energy? Take a few minutes to sort things out.  

“I detach my energy from this karmic debt. I release the concept of ‘owing others and others owing me’. All debts are forgiven.”

 

 

Step Six:

Are you preoccupied with the harm that others are participating in? Don’t inadvertently feed it by trying to fix, rescue or take the blame for it.

“I detach from shame.  I release all shame against myself and others. I now use Universal Life Force to create prosperity.”

Transformation Game - Staying Empowered

Staying Empowered (even when things are falling apart) ~

“If you’re experiencing a situation where there’s a great deal of societal upheaval and discord, the situation may well be in the flow of the I Ching Hexagram #23 – DETERIORATION. Other signs or symptoms would include:

  • incompetence,
  • arguments,
  • blow ups and break ups,
  • power grabs or
  • illness due to being in a toxic environment.

If this fits what you’re going through, be extra cautious about how you spend your energy, time or money. Reckless expenditures, whether they be financial, emotional or spiritual, are much more likely to result in loss at this time. 

The best thing to do when dealing with deteriorating situations is to step back and get perspective from your Soul. Take care of yourself very sensibly and examine your reactions carefully. Be generous and kind to those you care about.

Remember that confusion is the ideal atmosphere for tricksters, abusers and despots. The ego runs rampant and doesn’t want to let go. Meditate, gather  and remind yourself that all things must end. There will eventually come a change for the better. 

If you deal with DETERIORATION with an attitude of revenge or resentment, you will deplete yourself by giving the situation more fuel, which is probably exactly the reaction your ego wants. Your good intentions are better served by keeping yourself centered and grounded.

Gently gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles™ one at a time and consider the question or affirmation that goes with each Step. This self-care process helps you to become aware of what’s bothering you, so that you can make a different choice about how to use your energy more productively and in tune with your Inner Guidance.

 Step 1:

What is a situation around you now that is in the flow of DETERIORATION? Trust the message that comes through from your deepest, wisest guidance.

 

Step 2:

What truth are you having trouble communicating in this situation?

What is the feeling that tends to pull you into that situation?

Once you’ve identified what you’re feeling, take a moment and relax into it.

“I accept that this feeling is present and that eventually it will change. All things change eventually.”

The more you relax and accept, the faster and easier it will be for you to make corrections on the deeper levels you’re looking for.

Step 4:

Epigenetic Healing - Divine Nature ActivatedThe next few symbols are from Divine Nature Activated and will help you release negative conditioning and stimulate some epigenetic healing. The key is to relax as much as possible while looking at each symbol. It can help to imagine that an old, broken DNA strand is falling apart while a vibrant and cohesive DNA strand is relaxing, healing and filling up with light.

When using these symbols, it’s important to relax and breathe as you use each affirmation:

“I let go of seeing myself as weak or powerless. I reclaim and maintain my connection to the Divine.”

 

 “I let go of rigid ideas that have changed or proven to be false. I don’t have to be right.” 

“I let go of needing to control the situation so that I can focus on solutions that are truthful and serve my highest good.”

 

“I let go of societal patterns of fear, violence and corruption. I hold the victory of love in mind.”

DNA - Guidance from Angelic Realms

 

“I see myself outside of the pattern of intolerance. I acknowledge and respect my fellow brothers and sisters.”

 

“I ask the Divine to lead me to common ground.”

 

Step 5:

Now that you’ve cleared that energy, ask your inner guidance:

“Are there any aspects of me that have become scattered or disempowered?”

If there are, call them back now.

 

Step 6:

It’s time to get more present and heart centered: 

“I am fully present inside my body. I organize my awareness around ________.”

 

“The light in my heart center is strong and radiating out into the world.”

If you’re having trouble, it can help to take several deep breaths. Inhale on the count of 4. Exhale on the count of six. Open and close your fingers. If you feel a strong emotion come up, go back to Step #4 and repeat the process of relaxing and dissipating the negative DNA patterns.

 

Step 7:

Now that you’re fully present, ask your deepest wisest guidance:

“What is an action I can take that will help me with staying empowered?”

Take as much time as you need to reorganize your thoughts and energy around positive action.

 

 Step 8:

Staying empowered is much easier when you don’t let things stick to you. Consciously let go of any issues that aren’t yours and peel off any sticky energy that comes from your deteriorating situation.

“I let go of whatever doesn’t belong to me. I send it back to where it needs to go to resolve itself.”

 

Step 9:

Dissolve destructive blueprints using these affirmations:

“I allow my mind to let go of any attachments to the past or the future that I’m still holding onto. I see those patterns like dark clouds dissolving into a clear, blue sky.”

“I dissolve negative templates, attitudes and behaviors that cause me harm.”

 

Step 10. AurasThis is the final step to your game, but it’s very important!

You will want to keep your auras close to your body whenever you want to stay empowered. That’s because your auras provide protection. When they’re strong and focused, they can repel toxicity and keep your energy from mixing up with other people.

So, to finish this game, gaze softly at this Circle for as long as you need to repair and refocus them. Use this affirmation if you like:

“My auras are very strong and focused. I naturally keep them close to my body.”

Staying empowered is essential in times of DETERIORATION. Remember the transformation isn’t complete until you’ve taken the action you were guided to take in Step #7. Hexagram #25 – Open to INNOCENCE

The time demands an alignment with the flow of the cosmos. This adjustment must be made before further action is taken, otherwise you will begin to make mistakes. When actions that seem perfectly reasonable and cleverly planned are executed, they will end in difficulty and confusion. In order to harmonize your actions with the cosmos, it will be necessary to adopt an attitude of INNOCENCE.  Examine your motives. They will be the cause of your problems. This is a time for acting without conscious purpose, without ulterior motive and with complete rectitude. Do not aspire to be rewarded for your actions, nor direct them cunningly toward personal advancement. Act innocently and react spontaneously.” ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

This particular reading from the I Ching text serves as a reminder that when INNOCENCE is out of balance, it distorts into criticism, blame and harsh judgement. Compare this idea to the New Testament story about Jesus who steps forward to prevent a public stoning, ‘let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.’

When the channel for INNOCENCE is deeply traumatized, guilt takes form in its place. Things get communicated through the filter of guilt, which naturally spawns an environment ripe with injustice, ulterior motives, manipulation, coercion, and of course, more guilt. In extreme, a person or group may lack any kind of conscience, setting the stage for socio and psychopathic behavior to flourish.

Luckily, most babies are born with INNOCENCE. However for many, the channel gets diffused, distorted, hardened or deeply traumatized by early childhood experiences. This Transformation Game is here to help you repair that channel.

Start with this image that imprints the Virtue of INNOCENCE in your psyche and unconscious mind. Relax your shoulders. Take a few breaths and gaze softly at the Circle while you contemplate the 2nd changing line from Hexagram #25:

All Virtues are communications or channels of light that come through the Soul. Therefore, having an open heart is the first priority.

Use this Reiki Chakra Key to help you relax and open your Heart Center to the channel of INNOCENCE.

Take all the time you need to get comfortable and feel a positive resonance between the two symbols.

Your Psyche or Essential Self resides  most effectively in your Solar Plexus Chakra, the area in front where your ribs go up.

The existence of the Essential Self is discussed in many cultures and disciplines. Other names would be your Inner Child, the Authentic Self, the Golden Child or the Basic Self. Regardless of what it’s called, you can think of it as your “I am,” your true essence and direct connection with the rest of the cosmos through your Higher Self. Use the Reiki Chakra Key #3 to bring it into balance and then open to INNOCENCE once you’re ready…

Whenever shock or fixations get cleared, it’s advisable to make sure that your senses are intact and focused on your true intention.

The Rational Thought Chakras help you to correctly perceive who you are and the world around you. They involve your five senses and are located at each ear, the eyes, the nose, the mouth and the middle of our lower back, two inches above the sacrum.

The question here is, “am I perceiving the world according to my personal ego, or my Soul?”

Aligning with your Soul begins with a decision.

“I decide to clear away the delusions and see things as they really are.”

Use this symbol to help you uncover and release harmful decisions you may have made about yourself a long time ago. Some examples could be:

~ I’m a bad person.

~ I don’t deserve good things.

~ I’m to blame. I’m not okay.

~ There’s something wrong with me.

Are there other decisions you’ve made about yourself that are holding you back now? Perhaps it’s time to let them go too, so you can decide to reconnect with your Soul and be open to innocence!

 

Allow Your Throat Chakra to connect and resonate with INNOCENCE as well…

The energy of the throat chakra is about what you put out into the world – having a voice. It’s about speaking your truth and is blue in color, as in ‘true blue’. Many people have difficulty with this energy center. When the throat chakra is openly resonating with INNOCENCE, your word becomes much more empowered.

Try it out using this positive affirmation: “I stop using my voice to criticize myself. I am free of harsh words, blame and false judgement. I forgive myself.”

Remember to scroll up and use #32 again if the energy feels stuck.

Your Third Eye can open to INNOCENCE too. “I see myself as innocent and open to Divine Guidance.”

Finish by making sure that the connections between all these chakras are mended, filling in like a beautiful web of light.

Congratulations! You have just become more open to INNOCENCE by integrating it throughout your Central Plexus with chakra healing.

Give yourself some time to let this settle. Then, If you’d like and feel guided to it, there are additional steps you can take to help you open the channel further. 


Use this Soul Contract Circle to identify and release conditioning from your early childhood or upbringing that contributes to encourages you to operate out of guilt, rather than innocence. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you use the affirmations. It can be helpful to imagine the agreements being pulled from the ground as you go through this process.

“I uproot any conditioning I have to be hard on myself, judgmental, or operate out of guilt.”

Clear your inner garden of any noxious weeds that are interfering with your ability to react spontaneously out of INNOCENCE

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Welcome to the I Ching Reading and Transformation Game for:

The Year of the Earth Pig or Boar

This year, the Chinese Horoscope animal is the Earth Pig or Boar, starting on February 5th, 2019 and ending on to January 24th, 2020. Recent Years ruled by the Pig are 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995 and 2007.

Traditionally, the positive qualities of an Earth Pig are abundance in love, luck, health and money. However, your appetites for objects, food and possessions could get out of hand. It’s good to remember those old social memes, “more is not necessarily better” and “be careful what you ask for” because you could very easily get overwhelmed and out of balance!

To help you, this Transformation Game has been put together to increase your self-awareness, get clear about your priorities and make healthy choices so that you can stay in balance and not go “hog wild”.

Managing the Flow of Opportunities in the Year of the Pig

As you gaze at this Circle that accesses the medicine of the Earth Pig, see if you currently need some increased self-awareness around an important aspect of your life. Ask yourself:

“Would it benefit me to get inner guidance about my feng shui for creating career, money, health, home or dwelling, business opportunity or a love relationship?”

Make sure that you’re aware of the current flow of the Tao – or “gateway through which all things move.” Use some positive affirmations to help you get there:

“I choose to notice the flow of the Tao.”

“I have correct awareness of the prevailing energy in my environment.”

Open Your Heart So You Can Be Inspired By Your Inner Guidance ~

Use this Reiki Chakra Key to balance and open your Heart Center. 

“My heart is open to the flow of joy and balanced prosperity in this situation.”

“I am centered and radiating ___________.”

“My heart is aligned with my highest good.”

Because of the chaos involved, it’s very easy to get off track and go “hog wild.” You’re going to need true loyalty to your Self and your highest good to make wise choices. Gently look at the next Circle to affirm your best intentions:

“My agreement is to remain loyal to myself and my best interests.”

“I make choices that keep me on a positive path towards my own goals.”

“I let go of _________. I prepare for __________. I take care of __________.”

 

Focus in on the open, blank space in the middle of this Circle. Send your energy to it using these positive affirmations:

“I use my energy wisely.”

“I make a conscious choice to focus my energy on genuinely helpful people, projects and activities.”

Make a list of things or experiences you would like to create that would be genuinely productive for you at this time.

 

“I decide to let go of unproductive activities and negativity. I send them to the Sun to be transformed.”

“I am creating a life that fulfills my Souls purpose.”

Once you’ve done that, you’ll probably feel quite a bit calmer and more focused.


If you’re willing, there are several other decisions you could make that could really improve how you handle opportunities. 

Let’s continue with several principles that are bound to be helpful in the Year of the Earth Pig.

Priority #1: Stay focused and calm.

The year will have many opportunities – sometimes too many! Keeping a calm and peaceful mindset will help you filter out clutter and garbage.

“I close the doors to being hard on myself, overworking, conflict, pressure, chaos and____________, etc.”

“I access serenity and peace.”

“I move with grace and tranquility.”

 Priority #2: Keep Your Choices Down to Earth and Do-able.

Be a practical pig, not a porky pig. 

“I let go of fantasies and unrealistic ideas.”

“I focus on what’s really possible for me to create in my current situation.”

“Simplicity and good boundaries create the best conditions for success.”

“I decide that being calm and stable are healthy qualities to nurture.”

“I perceive my situation as it really is.”

 

Priority #3: Stay Grounded In Your Own Garden.

With the Earth Pig it can be pretty easy to wander off into other people’s gardens looking for yummy morsels. This is a similar tendency to ‘the other man’s grass is always greener.” Don’t buy into it.

“I remain grounded in my own garden and harvest my own blessings.”

Priority #4: Keep Your Space Clear of Garbage and Clutter.

The Pig has a natural tendency to attract too much stuff! Use this Circle to help you clear away any clutter or garbage that’s been dumped in your personal space or the landscape of your mind. You can imagine a broom just sweeping it all away to the Sun!

Once your mind feels clear, ask yourself, “Is there anything I should clear out or clean up in my physical environment?”

Priority #5: Know What’s Best for You.

Slow down and remember what’s most important for you at this time. Having too many intentions is often an unconscious contributor to burnout, failure or getting stuck in the mud. Stop and make a choice about what’s most important for you right now.

“Do I have some intentions that conflict with each other? If so, can I tell what they are?”

“Am I in the correct position for success?”

 

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you out of balance. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of any societal or familial patterns that are affecting you in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve the destructive energy of – extravagance, indulgence, greed, laziness, apathy, indifference or ____________, etc. ”

 

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to trouble.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.

I decide to get grounded and follow the path that’s most beneficial to me.”

For most of us, the Year of the Earth Pig will be an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of extravagance or apathy so that we can evolve to create more sustainable systems for health, relationships and prosperity. 

You can use this opportunity to plant beneficial karmic seeds for those new systems and any other useful resources that you may need in the near or distant future.

Once you begin to take responsibility for your appetites, you can bring order and new happiness into your environment!

Resolving Shock and Confusion

This mind exercise uses the Intuitive Learning Circle™ method for resolving shock when you are:

  • Feeling stuck, lost or helpless
  • Unable to relax tension or feelings of restlessness
  • Caught in a “blank” or confused state of mind
  • Waking up at night worried, with obsessive thoughts
  • Reliving painful experiences.

Resolving Shock and ConfusionAny person involved in a traumatic event could experience disorientation, numbness, mental confusion or fragmentation. They might even disconnect and leave their body. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. These are all ways that the unconscious mind protects us during a traumatic event.

Sometimes people who’ve experienced a shocking event will tell you that they’re fine and not to worry about them. That’s because one of the main symptoms of being in shock is not being aware of being in shock. Why is that? During a shock, the mind goes blank as a form of protection.

Contrary to popular opinion, having a shock response is not a sign of spiritual weakness. It is a physiological event. Nevertheless, if the person doesn’t get a chance to get grounded in their body again – or if they’re not able to – serious problems may develop. Blocked energy and a constant state of fight or flight takes its toll over time. Statements like: “I can’t think straight,” “my life was shattered” or “I feel disconnected” describe the experience of shock.

If any of the above seems familiar, you can go through this mind exercise step by step to help you access your own innate healing abilities and bring yourself back into balance.

Simply follow the directions and see if you can free up some of the confusion and conflict that comes from shock. Here’s an example of how it works:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I focus them to be present and aware of my body.”

“I use them to become aware of my environment and what’s important to me right now.”

“I focus on actions that benefit my well-being and happiness.”

Resolving Shock and Confusion

Step One:

Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that releases shock and inner conflict.

Imagine you can use it to focus in on a conflict or rigid thought that’s blocking your way. If your mind is blank, focus on how “blank” it is. You may get a conscious image or message, or you may not.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine you can send a beam of light directly to it. Allow your laser beam to break up the fixation until it’s gone.

Check for other blockages or conflicts that you can do the same with.

Step Two:

The next step is to bring your senses into balance so that you can see and hear things without the distortion that often accompanies shock.

As you breathe deeply, let this Circle help you to adjust the volume and pitch of your senses to just the right level for you.

Soon you will be able to hear that “calm, gentle voice” inside that reminds you about what matters the most to you:

“I see things as they really are. My senses are balanced.”

“I reconnect with what matters the most.”

Step Three:

If your gut feels tight or uncomfortable, use this Circle to help you relax in your solar plexus and get back into balance there.

“It’s safe. I can feel safe again.”

Step Four:

Sometimes a person who’s coming out of shock will be disoriented and feel a bit “out of their body.” In case that’s happening with you, take a few minutes to consciously bring yourself back into your body.

“I am at home in my center. I am inside myself.”

Close your hands into fists and then stretch them out wide several times. Wiggle your toes around. Notice the time and where you are. These actions all help whenever you’re resolving shock.

Step Five:

The next thing is to make sure you’re grounded. Without proper grounding, you could be flying all over the place, wasting your time and not getting anything constructive done. That’s the last thing you want right now!

Let this Circle for grounding help you. Place both feet on the ground and your hands on each knee while you use these affirmations:

“I uproot whatever is confusing me.”

“I decide to get grounded. The Earth supports me.”

Step Six:

Oftentimes, resolving shock and confusion requires a change in priorities. There may be certain plans, ideas or habitual patterns that make you feel trapped or confused. You can use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to help you identify them and dissolve whatever is confusing you.

Simply imagine that the negative patterns in your mind are like dark clouds or a jumbled maze of lines, dead ends and cages.

Once you have the image, bring the pure light of the Sun in and dissolve the maze completely.

Step 7:

The next step is to seal and heal any holes, leaks or openings in your energy field. These openings may lead to danger or allow harmful energies to attach to you.

As you gaze at the Circle, imagine harmful leaks and openings are closing as if they were never there.

“All holes are healed and sealed.”

“I follow the protection of healthy direction.”

Step 8.

To finish this exercise, let your heart recover. This Circle will help you to balance your heart energy and clear away any residual heaviness. Breathe deeply and take your time.

“I feel the heaviness lifting up out of my heart.”

“I let it go and send it to the Sun where it can be transformed.”

“I choose to be happy and healthy.”

“I resolve the conflicts and confusion.”

“I live from the heart.”

Thank yourself for taking the time today for resolving shock. By releasing it now, you can prevent more than you know!

Take all the time you need to bring the energy of gratitude in towards the center of this Circle and let it connect with your heart.

Reforming Misplaced Logic

This Mind Exercise* helps you investigate how misplaced logic or reasoning could prevent you from actualizing your goals. Let’s start with an explanation of logic that I like to use:

Logic provides an explanation of why things are the way they are. Logic is the reason why something does or does not fit together, irrespective of how you feel about it. You may want something to work in a particular way, but that doesn’t mean that it does. You cannot make it work simply through desire or thinking positively. To have good working logic, objectivity is imperative because emotions distort the facts and contribute to erroneous or misplaced reasoning.

The success of logic depends upon the proper identification of first cause, or the original and true premise. If you don’t have the true cause, the line of reasoning will be inaccurate. This kind of misplaced reasoning creates repeated mistakes and errors in judgement. So, in order for our logic or line of reasoning to work for us, we need to use underlying, original premises that are objectively accurate.

For example: One apple plus one apple equals two apples... 1 + 1 = 2

How Can Misplaced Logic Impair Personal Growth and Joy?

Because of the way we are conditioned, good working logic is difficult to master. Why? Possibly because our human desire to have things work the way we want them to is very strong and often left unexamined.

misplaced logicIn order to justify or validate our feelings and passions, we tend to look for original premises that will prove our way is right. Logic used in this way is out of balance. Unfortunately, many of our beliefs about ourselves and the world are based on incorrect original premises and inaccurate reasoning that we learned as children.

Examples:

As a child, I used misplaced reasoning when I chose to view other people’s reactions as a premise that there was something wrong with me.

I was also taught that you can achieve peace by waging war. I have always disagreed because I thought there was misplaced reasoning in there somewhere. My definition of peace is harmony, goodwill and being in agreement. By that logic, peace and waging war simply do not fit together and it’s been proven innumerable times throughout history.

However, if I bother to look up the meaning of the word ‘peace’, I’ll discover that peace can also mean ‘truce’. Truce means a cessation or pause in hostilities for a certain period of time. Certainly, it has been proven that a truce can be achieved by waging war under certain circumstances. So you can see that my original premise set me up with a world view where I could spend a lot of wasted energy on ‘being right’ and creating conflict rather than on being peaceful and  harmonious with myself!”

The following game is made up of a simple series of Intuitive Learning Circles™ and questions. They’ve been put together to help you explore your own reasoning and how you can reform misplaced logic that’s causing trouble in your life.

All you have to do is read the instructions and then follow through on the directions while you gaze softly at the Circle.


Is Your Logical Reasoning Working For You or Against You?

Step One: Choose a subject.

Relax and gently focus on a piece of reasoning that you would like to explore. You’ll know because it will be a question in your mind, like “How does this work?” “What doesn’t fit?” or “What am I missing?” Place your question in the center open space of this Circle. Give yourself a chance to gather up unconscious information and gently focus on the experience.

It will help to imagine you can bring all the energy into focus on the center, open space of each Intuitive Learning Circle™.

 

Step Two: Clarify what’s been happening.

See if you can determine the underlying premise. What is the reasoning behind your experience? Why do you think this keeps happening?

 

Step Three: Name the underlying premise and examine its results.

Let this Circle help you evaluate your behavior in relationship to the underlying premise. What do you do?

When I think or believe ___________, I _____________.

Is this misplaced logic? Is my reasoning sound?

Is this what I really want? Are the results I’m getting sustainable?

 

Step Four: Gently explore how the original premise came to be.

Was this behavior rational in the past? Where or whom did you learn this from? Was there a valid reason based on verifiable evidence?

Give yourself time to sort out your reasoning process.

 

Step Five: Get present.

Is this reasoning true under your current conditions?

What, if anything, has changed?

 

Step Six: Evaluate your choices.

What, if anything, would you like to do differently?

 

Step Seven: Free your Self from harmful underlying premises and misplaced logic.

Are there any agreements that you need to release?

What new agreements would you like to make with your Self?

 

Step Eight: Make energetic corrections to restore balance.

Bring your heart center into balance.

 

Bring your senses into balance and proper connection with your Soul.

 

Connect directly with the energy of the Earth to help you ground.

 

Dissolve destructive mental and emotional blueprints that contribute to any false underlying premises.

Visualize the destructive pattern as a dark cloud or other apparition. Either send it to the Sun or see it dissolve into pure sunlight. Do this both crossed and uncrossed. Different patterns will be accessed and dissolved. 

 

To make sure the process is complete, wait until you can see yourself standing in a beautiful, open field with the Sun shining. Your energy is completely clear…  the darkness completely gone. 

 

Focus all your energy on taking good care of yourself.

 

Step Nine: Reform your thinking.

What do you want to experience now?

 

Let your consciousness reorganize itself around your new goal and premise.

I am _________. My reformed goal is __________________.

 

Congratulations! You have just gotten to the bottom of some misplaced reasoning that’s been causing you problems! You might want to take a break, walk around or be out in nature to help you integrate these important changes.


Extra-intuitive Activities

The following extra-intuitive activities aren’t required, but they can really help you create sufficient conditions for actualizing your goals, talents and gifts…

Evaluate your Goal and Premise Using the Four Directions

Use your imagination to view your new goal and premise from the East.

Is my goal positioned correctly? _____  Is it in the New Paradigm? _____

Does it work with the new underlying premise or against it? ____  If not, can I tell what needs to change?

Do you have sufficient conditions for success from this angle? If not, what would help?

 

Use your spiritual guidance for discernment from the West.

Am I heading for danger? ____ Am I going in the correct direction? ____ Am I following my guidance to the best of my ability at this time? ____ 

Do you have sufficient conditions for success from this angle? If not, what would help? Is there another piece of reasoning that’s working against you in this situation? If so, you might want to go through the exercise again now or later.

 

Use your healthy spiritual reason to evaluate from the North.

In this situation, am I being controlled? ____ Do I have my freedom? ____

Am I respecting myself? ____ What would love do?

Do you have sufficient conditions for success from this angle? If not, what would help?

 

Use conscious decision making skills from the South.

What am I deciding? Will I be able to follow through short term and long term? _________________

Is there a conflict? ___ If so, can it be resolved? ____ Can I tell how?

Do you have sufficient conditions for success from this angle? If not, what would help?

Once you get a confident, heartfelt answer, Congratulations! You have looked at your goal and premise from several important angles. You might want to make a note of what you’ve learned and what you’re going to change.


INTEGRATION

Imagine that you can access your beneficial karma for reason and self-confidence. Gather all your good deeds in the center, blank area of this Circle.

“I access my beneficial karma.  I plant the seeds for actualizing my new goal based on true and reasonable premises.”


Completion

The mind intuitively appreciates closure. Let’s get grounded as we complete this mind exercise.

Place both feet on the floor and put your hands on your knees if you can. Gaze softly at the Circle and repeat the affirmation until you feel your body has fully settled in the present.

“I am grounded in the present. I feel strong and balanced.”


Future Pacing

Future pacing is a way to deepen the effects of any mind body healing by projecting a preferred outcome into the future. Let’s use that idea to solidify what you’ve just learned about how to be more intuitive.

Ask yourself: “How will it feel to implement this new reasoning in the future?”

What about later today or tomorrow? A month from now?

How does it feel a year from now?


Gratitude

You can thank yourself for taking the time today to clear up your misplaced logic and make new choices – a gift that will make your life a whole lot better!

Bring all the energy of gratitude and appreciation in towards the center.


CLOSURE

Finish it all up now by sealing and healing any pathways or holes that lead back to old harmful patterns or suffering.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”
