Are you caught in a maze of projections?
Are you stuck on judgement and criticism? If so, what would help?
Healing Action: Stop taking things personally. Take control of your reactions. Get out of the way. Deflect interference from others by proactively rejecting their projections.
Parrot Wisdom
The wise parrot teaches us the best way to handle
inflammatory remarks and condemnation.
She simply looks us in the eye
and repeats back what we say word for word,
without emotion, judgement or attack.
When you find yourself in a situation
filled with vengeance, fear or victimization,
do not engage it, otherwise you will fuel it.
Remain objective and mirror back what is said
with compassion, truth and justice.
As humans, we are manipulated
and give away our power through our emotions.
Remain calm and learn from Parrot
by reflecting only the goodness and beauty
of your surroundings.
Mind Body Integration
For best results, gaze softly at the Circle both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the communication is more complete.
Intuitive Learning Circles help you access your inner guidance and self-confidence to make proactive changes. Simply relax and gaze at the Circles while contemplating its message and positive affirmations. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek.
Further Exploration into Parrot Medicine:
You are taking what someone has said or done personally. Have you considered the possibility that your reaction was all they really wanted in the first place? What would happen if you didn’t respond the way they are expecting you to? What if you smiled or laughed or did nothing at all? You might be surprised at how fast they disappear or change their tune.
Or
Are you caught in an endless nightmare or repeating arguments? Instead of being paranoid or reactive, try being more proactive. Use Parrot’s Circle to imagine that the situation is like being in a maze or house of mirrors. Ask if there are particular emotions or conflicts that your mind is wrestling with. Once you have the mental construct or trap, release your agreement to perpetuate it. Then, consciously shatter the mirrors and deconstruct the trap. Clear it all away until there’s nothing left to hold onto.
Or
You are allowing yourself to be victimized by someone else’s critical mind. Try going through these steps:
- Ask your heart, “What is this person showing me about myself that I don’t like?”
- If you feel you’re being criticized, ask, “What is really going on?”
- Notice that what you’re making up about this interaction is probably worse than what is actually happening.
- Ask the Circle for advice about how to best de-escalate the situation.
Close the door on interference, judgement and criticism. Shatter the projections and use your new perspective to make necessary changes in your plans so that you’re effectively protected.
