Avoiding Danger with Vulture Medicine
2. Vulture Medicine – reminds us to cultivate discernment at all times as protection against those who would love to take advantage of our blind spots.
Are you in any danger? Is there a situation around you that would be best for you to avoid or take affirmative action on? If so, what is it and what might help?
Healing Action: Learn how to distinguish true assistance from exploitation. Your gut will help you identify dangerous situations and avoid them when you’re listening. Become aware of unconscious fears and transmute them.
Scavenging The Jungle
The circling vulture reminds us that
there will always be those
who feed off of the misfortunes of others.
They are attracted to helplessness and pain
and see it as opportunity for feeding,
not kindness.
It’s important that you be able to distinguish
true assistance from exploitation.
Focus on your gut feelings
when someone offers you help in times of trouble.
Recognize when others feed your insecurities, fear or hatred
rather than your strength and faith.
Do you feel competent and empowered around them?
If not, return to your center
and listen to that still, small voice.
Remember, the persistent squawking of the vulture
is intended to frighten and distract you from
listening to your own truth and higher good.
“Pay attention now or pay the consequences later.”
Mind Body Integration
For best results, gaze softly at the Circle both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the communication is more complete.
Intuitive Learning Circles help you access your inner guidance and self-confidence to make proactive changes. Simply relax and gaze at the Circles while contemplating its message and positive affirmations. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek.

It may mean that you are getting very close to a breakthrough. If you can discover how you are sabotaging yourself, you will have gone a long way towards finding the solution to your dilemma.
Learn how to attend to your safety by increasing your awareness of the situations around you. Tap into your gut instincts and balance your senses to improve your intuition. Ignoring the signs and playing the victim is an abdication of your personal responsibility.
Ask Vulture’s Circle where trouble is brewing now. Go through your plans and appointments. Notice the feeling in your gut. If there’s a concern, you will feel it there. When all is well, you’ll feel fine. If you get a twinge, ask yourself, “Is this what I really want?” Then ask your Soul for guidance and follow the advice you get to help you to avoid unnecessary pain and regrets.
Only you have the power to heal yourself. Have you given that power away? Some people would prefer that you think you cannot do without them. There are many around you that are available to assist you without any strings attached. Ask them for help. If you are surrounded by criticism, find some new companions. Remember that you are not alone.
If you feel obligated, free yourself. It may take courage to say no, however that is what is called for now.
