How Do Attachments Form?

Most attachments center around emotional conflict and desire. In a perfect world, our emotions would be accepted and respected. We could simply ask for what we want and accept the response, whether it’s positive or negative.

Unfortunately, this kind of perfect response isn’t always forthcoming!  We often react instead because we’ve been taught to try and make things happen in many overt and covert ways. Typically, when one person or group of people wants something from another, they make a lot of assumptions about what would be in everyone’s best interest. Then, when compliance isn’t forthcoming, emotions are bound to escalate!

The Either / Or Conundrum

Depending on the situation, most people keep pushing their agendas and insist on their way. Or, they may have learned more subtle ways to control relationships and manipulate outcomes through mind games, group think or emotional ties and attitudes like guilt, shame, blame, self-pity, flattery… etc. 

Unfortunately, both of these options lead to escalating conflict until one party either “wins” or “loses”. Of course, the external either/or option rarely actually resolves a conflict. Resentments and frustration go underground and create internal conflicts that either lead to overtly acting out (oppositional defiance) or covertly turning in against the Self (self-hate).

Sadly, many forms of low self-esteem, chronic failure,  loneliness, separation anxiety and even physical illness have their source in  unresolved conflicts and their resulting emotional entanglements.

Our social and media institutions send us constant messages that  we must struggle to win. It’s good to want what we want, when we want it! We can make it happen. Even though all the signs around us are saying, “Stop! You’re heading for trouble! This isn’t going to work.”

Emotional Entanglements are the Basis of Group Think or Herd Mentality

Group Think is basically a situation where a lot of people are attached to each other through conflict based emotions, beliefs, agendas and attitudes. But what if you don’t want to share in that way anymore?

Release Attachments in Relationships

Let’s investigate this through your own example. Your awareness can be used to enhance your mind/body healing.

Notice the “attachment” that has your attention now.

In this moment, there is probably some form of group communication that’s causing irritation or conflict within you. It could be an attitude, an agenda or a distressing belief. Think of it like a radio channel that you’re tuning into. There could be one or there could be several.

For the moment, don’t try to fight it or get away from it. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Just gently observe the quality of it.

 

The Third Eye can easily tap into Herd Mentalities.

Is your Third Eye tapping into the disturbing frequencies you’re feeling?

Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.

Find a quiet place if possible, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Begin by reading the first message and then gaze gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for approximately two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working and that your mind and body are coming into balance. 

Some emotions might come up as well. That also means the Circles are working. Just give yourself permission to let go of anything that’s causing you pain or suffering.

After you’ve finished going through the entire formula, let yourself rest for a little while. You’re doing very well with such a difficult circumstance. 


 

Presence

1. Take a few moments and breathe deeply.
 Pay special attention to those places in your body where you are feeling pain or discomfort.
 Consciously let them relax.
Move around or stretch if you need to.

 

Receptivity

2. Ask for peace to come into your heart and awareness.

Consciously move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your heart and solar plexus area.

 

Balance

3. You don’t need to be perfect or be everything to everyone.

Are you trying to take care of something that’s not your problem? If so, give yourself a break and resolve to let it go.

You are responsible for only your part of the situation. What is your part?

 

Healing

4. You may feel like you’re being pulled in too many directions. Relax and meditate on this Circle for as long as you like. Let it help you untangle from the confusion and heal any wounds like a gentle salve from your Soul, pouring over your entire body.

 

Compassion

5. Focus your energy on taking good care of yourself now. You are important and what you do matters. People care about you. 

What would be genuinely helpful in this situation?

Is there something you can do to be genuinely helpful to others?

 

Nourishment

6. It’s all right to take care of yourself and ask for help. Go back to your heart and listen to it beating – nice and steady. You are alive. 

What do you need to help you take good care of yourself?

Make a list so you can remember.

 

Change

7. In your life, what’s been working and what hasn’t been working?

Are you willing to let go of things that are not working?

Release any agreements to hold on.

Affirm that you‘re ready and able to let go and make the changes necessary for you now.

 

Realization

8. Keep looking at the Circle while you relax and think of something that you love very much. 

Have you been jeopardizing things that matter to you?

If you have, what can you do to set it right?

Make note of the ideas that come to you.

 

Clean Up

9. Use this Circle to sweep any confusion or clutter out of your mind and send the debris up to the Sun. Sweep it all away!

Notice how much better your body feels when your mind gets clear.

 

Clarity

10. Use this Circle to help you close the door on all that clutter and confusion.

Close the doors and seal the leaks as if they were never there.

Once those doors are closed, you’ll feel much clearer.

 

Inner Guidance

11. Take some deep breaths and move your body around again. Let your shoulders drop.

Listen to that calm, gentle voice that comes from your heart. What is it telling you?

When we’re feeling anxiety, it’s usually directly related to the levels of uncertainty we’re experiencing. In normal times, managing anxiety has been an individual matter and has to do with being okay with not knowing what’s going to happen.

However, due to the pandemic and political unrest, society in general is experiencing existential levels of uncertainty, which in turn increases our collective levels of anxiety. None of us knows what’s going to happen! Whether it be how to reenter our social networks, learning new procedures or handling economic stress, being able to focus your attention on something positive may simply seem out of the question.

Managing AnxietyThese feelings can come on suddenly and be very overwhelming. For example, the other day I was out and about and felt myself getting jumpy and nervous. Even though I was just driving in the car, I was keenly aware of a paranoia, an uncertainty and emotional backdrop of anxiety that was very unnerving.

Thank goodness I quickly released my agreement to buy into it and then went through this handy exercise once I got home to help me gently separate from the panic and keep my thoughts from running away too far!

Managing Anxiety in the Midst of Collective Fear uses affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles™ that can help when you are:

  • Picking up on anxiety around you
  • Getting anxious about an important decision
  • Experiencing performance anxiety
  • Overstimulated or feeling under attack
  • Feeling dizzy or overwhelmed
  • Unable to follow through due to anxiety.

Set aside about ten to fifteen minutes. Start by reading the directions: Gaze at each Circle for approximately two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible.

Here’s an example of how the Circles can help you restore balance when you’re managing anxiety:

Contemplate the positive affirmations that go with this Circle for a minute or so:

“I bring my senses into balance.”

“I focus them so that I can feel calmer and concentrate on what’s important.”

“I use them to help me be more aware of my surroundings and what I’m doing.”

“I focus on thoughts and actions that are helpful and in my best interest.”

The Circle may seem to move, spin or even change color. That means that it’s working. Just keep breathing and let the energy move. Once it calms down, your emotional state may improve as well. Then you’ll be ready to continue with the exercise.

Managing Anxiety

This exercise will help you slow down, pull your thoughts together and help you take good care of yourself.

Step One: Awareness

Breathe in and gently gaze at the Circle. While you exhale, affirm to yourself:
“I am connected, aware and guided by the truth.”

“Taking good care of myself is important.”

 

Step Two – Balance

It may feel like you’re all off balance or whirling like a top. Keep breathing and let this Circle help you get more balanced again.

Pay special attention to your tailbone.

 

Step Three – Protection

Continue to breathe and imagine yourself in an environment that’s very safe and peaceful.
You are completely protected in this place.

 

Step Four ~ Clarity

Let this Circle help you turn the volume down on your senses. They could be turned up too high. You can calm down and see things as they really are. Move if you need to. Let your shoulders drop.

“I can see the light in a dark situation.”

Be sure to do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.

 

Step Five – Slow Motion

Your mind might be hurried, spinning or frenzied, so let this Circle help you imagine that everything’s slowing down. 
It’s okay to slow down… moving in slow motion.


Again, do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body.

 

Step Six – Trust

Let your belly relax where your ribs go up in the front.
It’s okay for you to relax there and breathe as deeply as you want.

It’s okay for you to just be. Things are getting sorted out now.

 

Step Seven – Steadfast

Use this Circle to focus in on your heart.
Your heartbeat is steady and getting calmer by the minute.
You are okay.

 

Step Eight – Breath

Let this Circle help you open up your breath now.
Your lungs work together with your heart to keep oxygen flowing through you.
Breathing in the breath of life and exhaling…

 

Step Nine – Equilibrium

It’s important to keep breathing.
Your diaphragm works together with your heart and lungs to help you breathe.
You are okay. Your breathing is okay.

 

Step Ten – Resolution

As you gaze at this Circle, you can deactivate the overstimulated parts of your brain. Just keep breathing and say to yourself:

“I am calming down. Everything is relaxing.”

 

Step Eleven – Release

Imagine that you’re completely surrounded by a sphere of light filled with strength, courage and determination. Take as long as you like with this.

“I am filled with strength and determination.

I am strong and deflect the excess energy of collective anxiety.” 

 

Step Twelve – Emotional Freedom

Dissolve your connection to the mental and emotional malaise that’s behind our collective anxiety. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to clear the patterns from your mental continuum and send them to the Sun to be purified. 

Then, collapse the energetic sewers that spread the malaise.

Finish this formula by closing the doors in your mind that lead to collective anxiety and fear.

Closure for Mind Body Healing

 

After you’ve gone through the entire formula, consider taking a brisk walk or exercising to help discharge your excess energy. When you’re ready, see if you can take action on some new solutions that come to mind.

Self-care for LossMany people are experiencing deep levels of anxiousness, distress and fear around our current situation due to the pandemic. These feelings can come on suddenly and
be very overwhelming. You might have lost a relative, a job or an important friendship. You could be facing a health challenge or even a loss in your purpose and sense of self.  Or, you may be sitting on the sidelines, watching someone you love suffer while you feel at a loss for something helpful to do. 

In situations like these, it can take a while to regain your balance. What are some ways to provide self-care for loss and bring some level of emotional relief?

If you can find a way to tune into your deepest resources, you’ll discover that you’re never completely alone, even in your darkest hours.

  • Stressed over a lost job or income
  • Grieving a loss of any kind
  • Feeling pulled into a negative state of mind
  • Recovering from an abusive experience – past or present
  • Dealing with a serious or long-term illness
  • Preparing for surgery
  • Coming to terms with tragedy, loss or death.

Here’s an example of how the Circles can help you restore balance.

Simply gaze softly at the image while you contemplate the positive affirmations that go with it for for a minute or so. Relax and breathe:

“I bring my senses into balance.”

“I focus them so that I can feel calmer and more aware of help that is available to me.”

“I use my senses to be more aware of where I am and what I’m doing.”

“I focus on information that will help me resolve my issues.”

 

Next, you can continue Self-care for Loss by allowing this Reiki Chakra Key to provide chakra healing to your heart center. It helps to put both feet flat on the floor and place your hands on your heart while you gaze at the symbol.  Here’s a a couple of suggested affirmations:

“I am filled with compassion for the suffering of myself and others.”

“I open my heart to courage and the possibility of healing.”

Strong emotions or insights may come up. The image may move, rotate, vibrate or change color. Don’t worry. That happens sometimes. It just means it’s working to help you feel better. Once the energy calms down a bit, you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to continue the process.

Your heartfelt intention is important and needs to be communicated. Use this Reiki Chakra Key to help you connect your prayers with your heart. Focus in on the Master Chakras located on each hand between the thumb and the index finger and let them get open and balanced. Then, imagine you can connect them with your heart. These affirmations can help:

“My prayers are connecting with my heart center.”

“I ask to receive guidance, clarity and healing from my Inner Wisdom.”

You might want to journal some of your thoughts so that you can speak with a trusted counselor or friend about what comes up. If so, get out some paper and something to write with as you go through the steps.

Self-care for Loss

Step One: Asking for Help

Breathe in deeply, all the way to your belly while you look at this Circle. 

If you could ask for something that would help you feel better, what would that be? Place your request in the center, open space of this Circle and imagine you can send your breath to it.

 

Step Two – Support

Imagine that you can bring healing and release into all parts of your body, mind and spirit while you continue to breathe.

Miracles - Self-care for Loss

 

Step Three ~ Peace

What do you think is the main difficulty or burden you’re dealing with right now?
Are you ready to let go of that burden and find a solution? 
If not, why not?

 

Step Four – Release

 If you can, imagine that difficulty or burden is beginning to melt and soften up. You can release the tension around anything that’s bothering you right now. Your shoulders are dropped. Your jaw is relaxed. Hardened thoughts are melting.

Keep melting the tension until it’s all gone.


Remember to do that both crossed and uncrossed.

 

Step Five – Soul Vision

Consider what your life could be without this difficulty. What would it be like if those burdens were lifted?

Sense the experience as much as you can in detail. See it, hear it, taste it, smell it and feel it.

 

Step Six – Remove Your Burdens

Imagine that you can send all those burdens to where ever they need to go to resolve themselves. Feel the heaviness lifting up and off of you.

You have done the best that you can under the circumstances.

 

Step Seven:

Gently contemplate this symbol to help you gain insight and spiritual direction about appropriate things to do in this situation.

What is your relationship to the situation?

What would Love do?

 

Step Eight – Rebalance

Breathe again.
Feel a calmness coming over you.
You feel calmer and calmer with every breath.

 

Step Nine – Cleansing

Send away any illness, pain or fear that you’re experiencing. Send it to the Sun or wherever it needs to go to heal.

 

Step Ten – Surrender

Continue to let go and allow your energy to repair itself. 

Release your burdens to the Light so they can go where ever they need to go to be resolved.

 

Step Eleven: Divine Connection

Fill yourself with strength and the knowledge that you are loved. 

You have a Divine Connection to your Spirit. 

 

Let yourself rest now. You might feel tired or sad. That’s okay. It means that you’re feeling safe enough to really let go and rest.

Let this healing be sealed with Love and Light.

 

Some people have gotten a lot of extra support out of going through this self-care for loss formula every day for twenty-one days. It helps to retrain your mind to think more positively and keep you on track toward recovery.

  •  Feel caught up in a power struggle
  •  Need to disconnect from a meddling or intrusive person
  •  Feel trapped by agendas from other people
  •  Are wasting energy on the past
  •  Are worrying or fearful about the future
  •  Can’t think straight or get dependable guidance
  •  Are experiencing poor boundaries.

Here’s how Grounding in the Truth works:

Put both feet flat on the floor and start with your arms and legs uncrossed. Simply gaze softly at the images while you repeat the affirmations that go with them for several minutes. Relax and breathe. Here’s an example:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I use them to be present and aware so that I can actualize my Souls purpose.”

“I use them to help me protect myself appropriately.”

“I am aware of what’s most important.”

You will probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, that means the Circles are working to focus your mind and clean up your energy. You will know you’re done when the energy calms down and you can think clearly. Then you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process. Once you’re done, remember to relax and allow your energy to settle.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body Integration For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!


Step One: Begin by establishing a strong intention stated in the positive.

You might want to write it down. Examples:

“I maintain my integrity and am true to myself.”

“I gather my resources to be successful in my current endeavors.”

“I keep myself safe and healthy, ” etc.

Step Two – Resolve

Gaze softly at the Circle while affirming these thoughts:

“I detach from petty assumptions, ego concerns and things that don’t matter.”

“I disconnect from unproductive projects and inappropriate people.”

“I resolve to use my power wisely for what’s genuinely good for me.”

 “I release all subconscious agreements to tap into other people’s energy or to allow them to tap into mine.”

 

Step Three ~ Self-determination

Connect to this Circle through your breath, then continue with these affirmations:

“I reclaim all of my energy, power and gifts.”

“I use them to be present and alert.”

“I use them to create my Souls purpose.”

 

Step Four – Centering

Bring your awareness to your heart center and keep breathing:

“I am centered and my heart is strong.”

“I let go of _________, anxiousness, pain, sorrow, etc.”

“I know how to nourish myself appropriately.”

“I maintain healthy boundaries. My life is my own.”

 

Step Five- Grounding

Take all the time you need with this Circle until you feel stable and calm.

“My feet are firmly planted on the Earth.”

“I slow down and step carefully.”

“I am connected with and grounded in the truth.”

“I am ___________________________.”

Grounding in the Truth

Your energy is more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded now. Remember, a person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone. Be sure to take some time to relax and rest.
