Release the Binding Energy of Hate
Many people are having a difficult time healing hate and keeping their hearts open to hope and peaceful possibilities.
Since healing hate is a big topic of concern, let’s talk about the energy of hate and how it affects our energetic system.
I learned early on in my intuitive practice that hate is a binding energy. What I mean by that is when you “hate” something, your thoughts, your mindset and your energy gets very hard and constricted – not to mention your heart.
The same goes for anger, however, anger is more of an immediate reaction – it usually comes up to let you know that something is off – something is wrong that needs your attention right away. Anger is your friend when it’s telling you that there’s some aspect of a situation that’s isn’t good for you and is contributing to your experience of unhappiness.
Yes, you read that right! I’ll repeat it – anger is a very useful emotion when it motivates you to get centered and take productive action to change something that’s causing you harm. It gives you the energy to pull yourself out of complacency and disloyalty to your own highest good.
The I Ching talks about these kinds of situations in the text of Hexagram #36 Censorship:
“…in areas of personal and spiritual development, this situation can help you learn to accept times of evil. If one attempts to aggressively deny or ignore evil, then evil is often nurtured in one form or another. Good and evil are as much a part of the cosmos as night and day. It is much easier to develop a sound character once evil is acknowledged and accepted as part of the world. ~ The I Ching Workbook, R. L. Wing
The trick to navigating anger is what you do with it after the heat of the moment. Do you use that energy to go for the results you really want or do you get stuck in it? Does hate take control over you?
Hate is stuck anger hardened into a whole belief system and feedback loop.
People like to bond with each other through hate, because it’s easy to feel justified when we can get others to agree with us.
We fixate our attention on the object of our hate and send angry thoughts toward it, thinking that somehow doing so will make it go away and ease our suffering. We generalize about people and refuse to accept that there might possibly be anything good about the object of our hate. We revel in the energy boost that anger creates.
Unfortunately, narcissists are especially good at taking advantage of that group energy.
Simply put, when we let our anger harden into hate, we get caught in a powerful collective feedback loop and miss the opportunity to transform a harmful situation for the better.
There’s an old saying, “What I believe about you, I awaken within you.” To understand that better, compare the thought to “what I put out, comes back to me.”
These are the premises of the Law of Reciprocity, or Karma.
If I buy into the idea that what I put out comes back to me at all, it would be pretty hard on me if I were to put out that any particular group of people are only lying, cheating, dangerous predators!
This kind of all or nothing generalization is simply not helpful. Not only is it untrue, it would also cause me to:
- Bind myself to the “lie” even more strongly
- Cheat myself out of a lot of potential friends and relationships
- Create dangerous situations for myself by feeding the seeds of violence in myself and others and,
- Stamp out my own potential to be happy.
Yet returning hate for more hate is how the feedback loop gets maintained. The more we do it, the stronger it becomes. When will we decide to stop feeding this self-perpetuating trap and step out of it?
How can we turn a life destructive flow around?
Just to clarify what we mean by karma here –
Karma = Cause & Effect
i.e. I have a thought. I make a decision. I act on the decision.
Whatever I have followed through on has natural consequences.
Cause & Effect = Karma.

Healing the Emotional Roots of Hate ~
How can we transform the stress and suffering that comes with a hardened mindset of hate? I suggest that we start by enhancing our inner guidance. After all, we don’t want to run off in the heat of our anger and do something that’s actually hurtful to us!
Take a few minutes with this Circle to breathe and relax. Calm your senses and bring them into balance. Some may be turned up too high and some may be too low.
Take some deep breaths and let your shoulders drop. Adjust the volume to perceive your situation clearly. Notice how that calms you emotionally. Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to achieve greater mind body integration.
Mind Body Integration
The Intuitive Learning Circles work best when you look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.
Why? Because the brain and the body communicate with each other through one set of channels when you are uncrossed and another set when you are crossed. If you can’t get the information one way, you might be able to get it in the other. The same goes for making corrections – we want whatever correction is needed to be made all of the time, not just some of the time.
If you try this, and it still doesn’t work, you may have an internal conflict or fixation that’s interfering with cognitive function. Not to worry. If that happens, scroll back up to the Conflicts and Fixations image above and relax into it.
Healing Hate: Releasing Agreements and Social Contracts ~
Next, I suggest that we release our agreement to hold the energy of hate in our nervous systems, as if it’s helpful to us! Don’t forget that many agreements to hate are based on social contracts from our ancestral, cultural and religious lines. Look at the Soul Contract Circle and imagine that you can mindfully send the symbol all the way up and down your spine, unlocking harmful agreements as you go:
“I gently release my nervous system from the binding energy of hate.”
“I release any agreement I have to buy into the energy and mindset of extremism and hate. I unlock ancestral chains that bind me. I release any vow I’ve taken to keep the destructive fires burning.”
“I release any ancestral/societal agreement I have to plant the seeds of distress and hatred in the ground or in my own heart.
I let go of trying to fix other people’s hate and heal myself.
It’s time to stop perpetuating negativity in myself or Mother Earth.
I now choose to create peaceful prosperity and understanding.”
Then, be more specific. Use the same Circle in a different way to identify and release agreements to hold hatred towards different people, groups or organizations that you feel are wrong. There are far more productive energies to use that will be more helpful to you, like a gentle violet flame.
If you’re willing, go through each item on your list with these positive affirmations:
“I release all my agreements to hate __________________.” (how people act, how hard my job is, how stuck I feel, etc.)
“I pull my energy back and release my agreements to react out of violence, resentment or revenge.”
“I release all agreements to mobilize the destructive energies of hate. I utilize gentler and more productive energies to manifest my highest good.”
Don’t forget to release any agreement to hate yourself! It’s amazing how much energy you can free up by doing this.
“I free up the energy I waste on hate and redirect it towards supporting my highest good.”
There are other agreements we can change to help us navigate out of the maze.
The out-dated system of the Patriarchy currently affirms that only certain classes or sexes of people are heard and respected. Release your agreements with that system and set up new agreements to organize around healthy and cooperative dealings in the New Paradigm based on common ground for the common good. That includes equality, co-operation with Nature and balanced prosperity.
“I release agreements to stay grounded in the old paradigm of the status quo.”
“I release entanglements with herd mentalities of ______, ______, & ______.”
“I redirect my mindset & energy to the template of Common Ground for the Common Good.”
Another agreement to change would be to source your responses from a place of Gratitude and Joy, rather than from a fearful, greedy or vengeful place.
“I release agreements to source from fear, greed or revenge.”
“I decide to source from Gratitude and Joy that springs from my own heart.”
This symbol from Soul Prayer Charts helps you to interface with your environment more efficiently. Most of us need assistance in making the transition from the old paradigm of Water (Piscean Age) to the New Paradigm of Air (Aquarian Age). Relax and close down all heavy or destructive energy channels that your mind or body may still be open and vulnerable to.

“I adapt to the lighter, quicker flow of chi’ available in the New Paradigm
to the best of my ability.”
“I am open to generative Life Force to manifest improved health, happiness and relationships in the world.”

Healing hate requires a lot of change and in this new energy, it’s important that we be gentle with ourselves by slowing down and devoting our attention and intentions towards integrating safely

Clearing an Overwhelmed Mind
If you need help clearing an overwhelmed mind, the Intuitive Learning Circle method offers quick and easy support.
This self-care formula is for clearing an overwhelmed mind and is especially useful for handling day to day stresses, like when you’re feeling:

- Exhausted
- Pressured
- Confused
- Out of balance
- Taking on too much
- Doing too much
- Going too fast and need to slow down.
You are not alone and you can easily get some relief by going through the Overwhelm Help Exercise #4 out of Navigating Loss and Compassion Fatigue from our Soul Oriented Solutions series.
Directions: Confirm this is the best formula for you with the SOS Symbol.
Find a quiet place if possible, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty – thirty minutes. Begin by reading the first message and then gaze gently at the Circle or chart that goes with it for approximately two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary. Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working with the positive affirmations to bring your mind and body back into balance.
Some emotions might come up as well. That also means the Circles are working. If you’re being hard on yourself or afraid you aren’t “doing it right,” give yourself permission to continue relaxing and let go of anything that’s causing you pain or suffering. You could be releasing a mindset that’s caused you quite a bit of suffering for some time now. Resolve to patiently keep breathing and let it go.
Mind Body Integration
For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of your body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.
Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!
If someone is with you, talk to them about some of the feelings that you’re having. It could help you to gain perspective on your situation. Having perspective allows you to make the best decisions about what will help you now.
After you’ve finished going through the entire formula, let yourself rest for a little while. You’re doing very well with such a difficult circumstance. Be sure to take things one at a time.
Presence
1. Gaze softly at the Circle and take a few moments to breathe deeply.
Pay special attention to those places in your body where you’re feeling pain or discomfort.
Just let them relax.
Move around or stretch if you need to.
Receiving
2. Ask for peace to come into your heart and awareness.
See if you can move your energy out of your head and pull it down into your center heart and solar plexus area.
Centering
3. You may need a minute to get your bearings.
Bring your energy into your body so that you can get centered.
Notice what is to the right of you and to the left of you.
You are okay.
Balance
4. You don’t need to be perfect or be everything to everyone.
Are you being too hard on yourself? If so, give yourself a break and let it go.
What really matters in this situation?
What’s most important to you?
Release
4. You may feel like you’re stuck or being pulled in the wrong direction. Relax and meditate on this Circle for as long as you like.
Imagine that a loving coat of of peace and comfort is pouring down over you – gently releasing you from all that dark, heavy energy.
CHANGE
6. You are ready and able to let go and make the changes necessary for you now. Are you willing to let go and release the chains of the past?
Release any agreements to hold onto things that aren’t working. What a relief that is.
Nourishment
7. Go back to your center and listen to your heart beating – nice and steady.
It’s okay to ask for help. You are alive and need to take good care of yourself.
What do you need to help you take good care of yourself?
Make a list so you can remember.
Compassion
8. Focus your energy on taking good care of yourself now.
You are important and other people care about you.
Your choices matter.
Reunion
9. Gaze gently at the Circle while you think about something that you love very much.
Relax and let yourself feel what matters to you.
Take all the time you like. It’s okay to let go and feel the love returning to you.
Hope
10. Take a moment and let your body and mind connect with Hope.
True hope is an expression of Love that reunites you with your soul and its resources.
Clarity
11. Now it’s time to sweep the clutter out of your mind and send it to the Light.
Sweep it all up and away… and close the doors on scary places that overwhelm you.
Notice how much better your body feels when your mind gets clear.
Completion
12. Close the harmful pathways in your mind – like too many open tabs on a computer. Your mind and body are not here to be a dumping ground.
Close the holes and seal the leaks wherever they are.
Closing pathways that have been left open between you and others will help you feel much better.
Protection
13. Relax with this symbol until you feel safe and clear.
You are protected and positive life force is flowing through your body and mind.
New and life affirming communication lines are coming together to help you.
Inner Guidance
14. Take some deep breaths and listen to that calm, gentle voice that comes from your heart.
What is it telling you?
New Beginnings
15. Let a calm feeling come from your heart and fill up your entire body – all the way to your fingertips.
It’s time to rest. Remember to take good care of yourself.

Are You Catastrophizing?
One of the biggest challenges we face is how to get past all the catastrophizing that’s going on and get to some real solutions.
When a person is CATASTROPHIZING, they are imagining the worst possible outcome of an action or event. It’s so easy to blow everything out of proportion, especially after all we’ve been through! Turn on any form of media and within minutes you’re hit with intense waves of anger, fear, outrage, even paranoia. Before you know it, your energy is scattered all over the place and you’re feeling hopeless.
Certainly, there are plenty of disastrous events that are actually happening. I’m not suggesting that we isolate, live in denial or surround ourselves with ‘nothing to see here’ apathy.
However, putting all that emotional energy into the drama while ignoring the solutions is like feeding a shark and then expecting it to just peacefully swim away. It ain’t gonna happen!
Our problems can’t be solved from the same mental position they were created from. The same is true for you. A positive balance can be struck by consciously pulling your attention and energy away from all those problems and redirecting them to genuinely helpful solutions.
It may sound hard to do, but learning to stop catastrophizing is possible.
With this sequence of Intuitive Learning Circles, you can easily refocus and let go of some of that fear you’ve been feeling. All you have to do is be open and follow the simple directions. Each Circle helps gather unconscious information, organize awareness and illuminate solutions that come directly from your Soul. You are in charge!
Start out by taking a moment to consider what situations are bothering you the most. What seems to be the most upsetting to you?
You could be catastrophizing about anything – environment, work, family, politics, AI technology, social media or even a personal relationship.
What upsetting event comes to mind first?
Where do you feel it in your body?
With that situation in mind, scroll down and gaze softly at the short sequence of Intuitive Learning Circles below. Let each Circle help you access intuitive answers to the questions that go along with them.
Step 1:
Take a moment to relax and take a few deep breaths. Let your shoulders drop and gently look at the Circle in whatever way that appeals to you. Once you feel pretty relaxed, ask yourself this question:
“What am I paying too much attention to that isn’t in my best interests?”
It’s important to accept whatever comes to you because that answer is your Inner Guidance sending a warning to you.
Step 2:
Gaze softly at this next Circle that helps you access your unconscious decisions:
“What decisions am I making about this situation? What have I decided about other people? What have I decided about myself? Are those productive thoughts?”
If they are productive, great! Bring them together and make them even stronger.
If they’re not productive, what kind of thoughts and decisions would be better for you to make? Would you be willing to give yourself and other people a break? Don’t judge, just keep a mental note. Oftentimes when we change our decisions, the situation begins to change too.
Step 3:
Use this Circle to help you connect with a more positive energy that lives within.
“I connect to the Source of Joy and Gratitude that lives in my heart center.”
“I decide to empower a healthy and hopeful frame of mind in regard to this situation.”
“I am empowered to ___________.”
This may take a few minutes, so take all the time you need. Move around and stretch if you like.
Step 4.
As you gaze at this Correction Key for repairing your energy field, ask yourself:
“Am I willing to heal the pathways in my energy that are jagged, torn, blocked or turned inside out?”
If you are, use your imagination with this Key to smooth the energy out.
If you’re not, can you tell what’s holding you up?
Step 5:
Bring yourself fully into the present. Open and close your hands. Take a look at the time… remember how old you are… find something in your space that you can really connect to.
These are all things that can help you get more centered.
What do you need to do to get grounded?
Step 6.
Put your hand on your heart and meditate on this symbol for a few minutes with this positive affirmation:
“I connect my consciousness with Hope.”
Make sure you’re relaxing as much as possible. Roll your shoulders if you need to. Adjust how you’re seated. Hope is a virtue that connects you with your Soul.
Step. 7
When you’re ready, check your progress…
“Does it feel like I’m moving in a better direction?”
Step 8.
If the answer you get is “no” or “I’m not sure,” use this Circle to imagine that your Soul can turn you towards the direction of your highest good and close the door completely on all that catastrophizing.
“The path in my mind that leads to disaster is sealing and healing.
I follow the direction of my Soul’s protection.”
Once you’re clear that you’re heading in a positive direction, you can thank your lucky stars that you have successfully pulled yourself out of emotional chaos.
Congratulations!
Now that you know what kind of issues are especially upsetting, you can make a plan to find some good solutions. For now, though, you probably need to rest or go do something entirely different. After all, catastrophizing is hard work!
Take a few minutes for yourself to walk, get out in nature or do something that will help you relax.
