There are two sides to this Circle. Take a few moments to evaluate your behavior. You have activated your spiritual will and are now moving toward a higher purpose for you and your world. You may want to revisit lost hopes and see if you desire to incorporate them back into your life.

The way to do this is to bring all levels of yourself into alignment with the truth by addressing the following forms of extravagance and ignorance:

  1. Complete unfinished business.
  2. Clear up debts that you owe or are owed.
  3. Speak up regarding issues that have been bothering you.
  4. Be done with petty dramas and ego games.
  5. Come back into your power.

If you do these things, you will set yourself right with the natural flow of the Universe. The ego may object, often very loudly, however you now recognize that the ego is not to be trusted when it comes to matters of integrity and/or personal power. These are significant blocks that have hindered inner transformation up until this point. If you ignore them, your energy will be drawn back into feeding negativity and fear.

Once you have re-channeled your energy to love, truth, and freedom, you will have new energy to accomplish your dreams.

You are dealing with your shadow side and healing disloyalty within yourself. Shed any lies that you may have been telling yourself. These lies come in the forms of denial, jealousy, judgment or vengeance, which have created imbalance and illness within you.

Shamans often refer to this kind of healing as “uncrossing your path”, and the truth is, we always do it to ourselves, usually by following someone else’s path, rather than our own. Successfully making this transition into loyalty will expand the possibilities regarding where you can go. It may benefit you to let go of ideas that you have laid claim to. Ideas are like air – they are everywhere, traveling freely, belonging to no one. Claiming ownership over them poisons the body, mind and spirit. If you like an idea, apply it to your life and pass it on. If you don’t like it, just let it go.

See yourself and your situation as it really is. In that way you will rid yourself of indecision and move forward into your higher good.

How to Take Good Care of Yourself

During this pandemic, we’re all learning what we need to do to take good care of ourselves. The path of MODERATION is often the key.

There is no shortage of information and advice out there about what we should and should not do to take care of ourselves. Early on in my experience as a medical intuitive, I discovered that there is no “one way” to protect ourselves or heal that works for everyone. We are all unique individuals with our own strengths, weaknesses and preferences – our own karma, if you will.

I also learned that what works today may not work tomorrow. That has to do with circumstances; something may have suddenly changed that has to be dealt with. A shock may cause you to loose your footing and get off balance. Or, there may be some other spiritual or emotional blockage that needs to be released before a clear solution can appear. There could be underlying toxins in the system, the timing may not be right or the body could be so challenged by something like the coronavirus that it’s unable to communicate properly.

So, given all the variables present in this extremely difficult time, how can you take good care of yourself?

A New Perspective from an Old Friend

Transformation Games - Take Good Care of YourselfKuan Yin is a time honored and respected spiritual guide in the healing arts. She has been helping us to transition from the old paradigm based on greed and fear to a new paradigm of equality, co-operation and sustainable prosperity. Her advice on how to take good care of yourself springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of change and divination that follows the flow of the cosmos. Because of that, her insight comes from a different perspective than ours.

Kuan Yin’s Readings and Transformation Games can help you get present and see things through a new perspective – one that comes from your innermost knowing. Simply relax and gaze at the Intuitive Learning Circles while contemplating Kuan Yins words. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek. Here’s an example:

“I connect with my five senses to perceive what I need now to be healthy.”

Note: As you gaze at a Circle, it may move around, change color or spin. The lines may disappear and reappear again. That’s okay. Your Soul is in charge!

Now, let this Circle help you balance all of your senses so that you are listening to your own body, instead of all that discordant noise from the outside world! The volume may be turned up too high, or it could be too low.

Take several breaths and relax. Breathing into your belly and exhaling long and slow. This is helpful to every part of your nervous system.

“I listen to my heart. I notice my breath. I move my body around and stretch.”

“I activate my intuition and use it in balance with other aspects of learning, such as common sense, logic, observation and instinct.”

Next, make sure that you are fully present.

Continue to relax and let your 3rd Chakra get connected, open and balanced at your solar plexus (the area where your ribs go up in the front).

Your Essential Self is most efficiently located there to help you manifest, create happiness and maintain health.

In stressful times, it’s pretty common for the Essential Self to get closed off, misplaced or dissociated. You can correct that now.

 

This next Circle calls in the unique energy signature of your Soul so that you can synchronize with your environment appropriately.

When you use your own energy signature, you can easily distinguish your energy from the energy of those around you. This is great for your health and for healthy boundaries!

Imagine that you can “plug in” at your Solar Plexus Chakra to relieve irritability, strengthen your immune system and clear out extraneous confusion. Use these affirmations to help you:

“I am plugged in and my life flows with ease.”

“I know who I am and what is important to me.”

Once you feel open and relaxed, you’re ready to start playing the game!

Hexagram # 15 – Moderation – How to Take Good Care of Yourself in the New Paradigm

Transformation Game - Take Good Care of Yourself

“In difficult times, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where ‘The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.’ ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

The ancient Chinese text describes MODERATION as the best way to make progress by disengaging from harmful extremes and following the truth and guidance that comes from within. In almost any situation, if you’re able to walk a moderate and middle road, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

Finding Moderation and Following that Path ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is a sensible flow to follow whenever there’s so much chaos and confusion that it’s hard for you to tell what’s going on. In the midst of chaos, unpreferred karma (cause and effect) can be easily triggered. For many people, soul contracts have been completed and need to be released to prevent unnecessary health problems. Generally, people are probably either:

  1. Feeling threatened, at risk or censured,
  2. Stuck in the desire to return to the way things were,
  3. Caught in the chaos of things splitting apart, or
  4. Seeking harmony and balance by letting go of extremes.

As you softly gaze at this Circle that accesses karmic seeds, see if you’re currently experiencing one of these situations. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing situation #1, 2, 3 or 4?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Whatever it is, you can take good care of yourself by letting go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that’s causing you harm in any way. This game will help you do that. 


Let Go So You Can Bring In New Ways to Take Good Care of Yourself.

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. It can be helpful to imagine that each agreement is like a lock attached to every vertebrae of your spine. To let go, start at the bottom of the line and move up your spine – unlocking any harmful agreements as you go all the way to the top of your neck. Here are some examples:

“I unlock any agreement to sacrifice my health or place myself in harms way.”

“I let go of any lies, poor guidance or assumptions that block my ability to heal.”

“I discontinue activities or beliefs that put me at risk.”

“I release pathways, false concepts and patterns of behavior that lead to conflict, confusion, hardship, over-indulgence or ________, etc.”

 

“I decide to gently integrate healthier patterns that upgrade my happiness and well-being – in accordance with my highest good.” 

Take all the time you need to really relax with this one.

 

This is a good opportunity to clear your inner garden of any outdated intentions or energies that interfere with your health or happiness.

As you look at this Reiki Key, allow your heart center to clear away any hurtful entanglements or conflicts. Include old energies or grievances with family, friends or business relationships. Clear out harmful agendas from societal institutions, religious practices, cults or partisanships. Release attachments to completed projects, places you’ve lived, outmoded forms of transportation, communication, consumerism or business, etc.

By letting go of all that clutter, you free up a lot of energy that’s better spent on your health and vitality.

Because of the chaos involved, there aren’t many guarantees out there. Making any kind of reliable prediction is next to impossible. You’re going to need all the presence and energy you have to help you during times such as these. Gently look at the next Circle while you affirm these positive affirmations:

“My new agreement is to stay present in my body and follow my inner guidance – calmly and honestly.”

“I am flexible and able to adapt.”

“I notice disturbances in my health. I ask for and receive reliable help when I need it.”

“I make wise choices about my health and well-being.”

“I let go of ______.   I prepare for ______.

I take care of ______.   I am open to ______.”

 

“I decide to build an attraction field for _________, _________, _______.” Suggestions: excellent health, healthy boundaries, nourishment, equality, good company, cooperation, sustainable prosperity, etc.

 

Use this Circle to help you shift your focus to what really matters.

“I make a choice to focus my attention on hope, health, sustainable prosperity and ______________.”

 

Take time to organize your energy properly so that you can manifest your intentions.

“I nurture my body, mind and spirit healthfully, in alignment with my highest good and my highest good is returned to me.”

 Once you feel in the flow, ask yourself: “Are there any habits or behaviors that would be helpful for me to change?”

 

Take a few minutes to consider how well you’re nourishing yourself and make notes so that you’ll remember.

“Are there any foods, especially herbs, teas, vegetables or fruits that would benefit me? Am I getting enough fresh water? Is there anything to stay away from?

Is there anything I’m consuming that’s causing a problem?”

“Am I approaching my circumstances correctly? If not, can I tell what’s needed?”

 

“Am I getting enough oxygen through breathing, fresh air and exercise?”

Emotional Calm

Relax for a few minutes to consciously breathe and relax. Imagine what kind of exercise would be most helpful today.

 

Evaluate your current actions or intentions.

“Are there any activities I’m planning that would be dangerous?”

If so, can I tell what they are? How can I follow a more MODERATE and beneficial path?”

 

Now it’s time to dissolve mental and emotional patterns that pull you off track. Use this symbol for dissolving destructive blueprints to identify and let go of self-sabotage or any societal or familial pattern that still affects your health in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve destructive energy and any connection I have ever had to it.”

“I dissolve ___________________.”

Once the patterns are cleared, close the door to pathways that lead to extremes and danger.

“I decide to close the door on harmful pathways. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

In order to actualize the benefits of what you’ve done with this game, it’s important to get grounded. Put both feet on the ground and let this Circle help you get grounded in a new paradigm of equality, cooperation and sustainable prosperity.

 

At this point, you’re probably feeling much calmer and more in balance. Finish with this affirmation:

“I am grounded in gratitude and appreciation for the help I receive.”

Take Good Care of Yourself

Learning How to Change

Are You Changing with the Changes?

If you’re like most of us, you’re overwhelmed by the speed and amount of confusing changes taking place. In one day, you might feel panicked, shut down or frustrated by others who don’t seem to know how to change. So much of “normal” life is gone. You may feel threatened and just want to get away. You could be ready to fight due to any number of conflicts – both inner and outer. Or you might shut down – resisting the whole situation with every fiber in your body!  

The 64 Hexagrams in the I Ching or Book of Change have much to teach us about the importance of being flexible and knowing how to change. 

For example, in Hexagram #29 DANGER, it says:

The situation is one of real DANGER, caused by and manifested in the affairs of man... Acting with integrity and confidence is the key to surmounting the DANGER.”

In Hexagram #49 CHANGING, the ancient text states: 

“A struggle is occurring …the time of CHANGING suggests that although you may not know what to do, you know that something must be done. Your best course is to alert yourself by paying careful attention to the shifting moods of those around you. Take stock of the general feelings running throughout society. This may help you determine your own personal imperatives and the support you can expect in carrying them out.”

In Hexagram #51 SHOCKING, the text says, “The only thing predictable about what is coming is its SHOCKING unpredictability… Examine yourself to see if you have in your heart an acceptance of the sudden forces of the cosmos. Only with this attitude can you behave correctly.”

Transformation Game: Learning How To Change in a Changing World.

You can discover how to change more gracefully and let go of the resistance by going through this Transformation Game. When you slow down and take the time to go within, you can gain a deeper understanding of what you’re really struggling with. Not only that, you can find the motivation to change how you’re responding in a more effective way!

Directions: Simply gaze at the Circle while contemplating the positive affirmations. Breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax as much as possible.

“I reclaim and balance my rational senses.”

“I focus them to be present and keep tuning into my body to determine what I need.”

“I use them to notice my environment so I can reject, repel or avoid harmful thoughts and energies.”

“I focus on actions that benefit my health, happiness and  _______________.”


An important note about Mind Body Integration ~ 

Retrain Your Mind for Mind Body IntegrationThe brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. As you work with the Circles, cross and uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body. Use a soft focus and breathe patiently. This will help you access your resistances more fully so that you can release more. Let any negative self-talk go by breathing through it.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you let go!


Once you feel ready, see if you can slow down and let yourself focus on one thing at a time.

“I continue to relax and breathe while my thoughts slow way down.”

Gently, bring your awareness to a specific area of your life that’s caught in any kind of conflict. What do you notice? You might want to make note of some of the impressions you get.

 

Empower your ability to choose in this situation.

“I exist and what I do matters. I can do something about this.”

“I bring myself into alignment with my highest good.”

 

Now you’re ready to go through the rest of the game in the same way by asking yourself questions while you gaze softly at each accompanying Circle. Take your time, the answers might not come right away. The Circles are helping your mind to clear away mental and emotional clutter.

“In this particular situation, how am I dealing with change?” 

Am I stuck on something? Shut down? Is it possible that I’m being too hard on myself? What is the concern?”

 

If you’re stuck, you might be able to deal with it fairly easily by using this Circle that clears conflict, resistance and fixated thinking.  

Imagine that you can use the Circle like a bull’s eye to dissolve, melt or send a laser beam to break up any conflicts or fixations you may be experiencing.

If you’re judging yourself too harshly, use the Circle to help you break up those rigid thoughts. If you’re shut down, use the Circle to bring yourself back to life! Move around in any way that you like.

 

Continue with your investigation about how to change…

“Am I taking anything personally?”

You can usually tell if you’re internalizing something because you’ll start to experience physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual irritation.

“I stop taking this personally and let it go. I turn to more positive ways of dealing with this particular situation.”

 

Think about what you can learn from this situation.
“The most important take away for me in this situation is ________.”
“I am learning ____________.”
Be sure to write this down.

For a much deeper integration, trace around the circle clockwise with your eyes, both uncrossed and crossed, while you consider your take away thought.

Then, do the same as you trace your eyes around the square in the same direct, both crossed and uncrossed.

The Essential Human*Note: if you have an updated copy of The Essential Human, you might want to go through Future Pacing (on page 140) to help you choose beneficial “ingredients” for creating your life. Ask yourself:
“What ingredients am I choosing?” 

Choose from the archetypes #1 – 42. Use this affirmation:
“I release harmful ingredients and access beneficial ingredients instead.”

 

Next, imagine that you can release any old agreements, assumptions or obligations that are keeping you stuck in conflict. Visualize them like contracts, burning up into nothingness with a violet flame. Here are some suggestions:

“I let go of outdated agreements to resist or to take on someone else’s conflict as my own.”

“I let go of the need to hold onto anyone or anything harmful in this situation.”

“I let go of ________. I detach from ________. I remove ________.” Etc.

 

Make some new decisions that support how to change more appropriately, like: “I choose to see this situation in a positive light.” or… “I am capable and my Spirit helps me to handle change… I am free to change in accordance with my highest good… I allow other people the space to handle their own issues…”, etc.

 

Connect with the Third Chakra at your Solar Plexus and let it open up. Relax and let the tightness go. Deep breathing is your best friend in times of accelerated change! Move around or stretch if you like.

 

Keep breathing and give yourself a good dose of courage with the help of this Circle:

“I surround myself with courage, strength and determination.”

 

Imagine that this symbol can help you find any thoughts or seeds of resistance you’re feeling. They’re probably not even yours! It’s time to set things right. Send them back to wherever they belong.

Reclaim whatever is yours – your ideas, your power, your own beneficial seeds of karma. Bring them home and nurture them gently.

Transformation Game - Staying Grounded“When it comes to prospering through the flow of the I Ching, or Book of Change, it’s important to be able to discern whether a given situation is truly beneficial to you or not. There might be so much going on that it’s difficult to be clear about what’s really true and what’s a delusion.

Unfortunately, times like these are filled with untrustworthy people or groups who try to take advantage through CONTRADICTORY, manipulative messages.

Look out for those who use a lot of flattery or fear tactics to pressure you into following their agenda. 

Staying grounded is the key to being able to effectively evaluate the truth in a situation and move forward in a positive way. Use this simple Transformation Game any time your balance and equilibrium gets upset. Simply gaze at each Intuitive Learning Circle™ while you consider the accompanying question or affirmation:

Just about everyone is going through significant changes and wants to move on. However, there’s an immense amount of fear and conflict holding things up. It’s natural to ask, “what can one person do about all that?” While it’s true that we couldn’t possibly fix everything that’s going on, there are some very basic things each individual can do to mitigate the damage as much as possible. Number one would be to keep yourself centered and focused on your priorities. Number two is to understand how the power of your word plays into the mix by consciously realigning your agreements.

Power of Your WordUnexamined agreements are often the cause of stalemate, failure to heal, unnecessary stress and inner conflict. That’s because your unconscious mind and nervous system may still be following an old directive that contradicts what’s currently in your best interests.

This is especially true if you’re dealing with outdated beliefs, boundaries or any kind of illness/recovery process.

Straightening out your agreements will streamline how quickly you can shift your focus and follow through on your new priorities decisively.

You can start here to update the power of your word using the Intuitive Learning Circles.

Excellent! Now let’s look at a short explanation and mind exercise to help you sort out how you’re using the power of your word through your agreements:

The mind is a recording device and is there to help you navigate physical reality by way of identifying things, communicating, making agreements and by blocking things out that will cause confusion in physical reality. Its primary purpose is to preserve and protect the body.

An agreement can be something simple like deciding that a plate is a plate or that the color red is the color red. More complex agreements are marriage and business contracts or taking religious vows.

Agreements are what organize collective experience and help us to navigate through life. If we didn’t agree what a hammer was used for, it would be difficult to build anything. If there were no agreements around a marriage, then it would be difficult to operate as a collective family unit. These agreements act as a filter so you can focus on relevant information and discard input that is irrelevant.

The mind records our experiences and acts on agreements that we’ve made. Let’s explore different kinds of agreements that might be causing you trouble:

1. Agreements with self. Examples: “I must be nice – I have to put the needs of others before myself”, “I’m not good enough as I am – I’m too tall, too short, too old,” etc.” 

2. Agreements with other people. Examples: “I have to keep working, no matter what”, “I’m the only one who can do it”, “I can’t trust anybody,” “We’ll be together forever,”etc.

3. Agreements with society. Examples: “Being successful = being busy”, “I’m not the right sex, race, or age to ______,” “I can’t, my religion won’t let me”, etc.

4. Agreements with the collective unconscious. i.e. the recorded memory of human kind. “This is the way my ancestors did it, therefore, I must follow in their footsteps.”

We have our agreements about careers and finances. Examples: “There’s only one way that works to do this.” “I can’t challenge the status quo.” “I’m helpless against the current economic conditions.”

Agreements imply certain obligations that shape our identities, beliefs and behavior. Examples: “I’ve always been the black sheep of the family”, “I said I would protect him, and so I will – no matter what”, “I have no voice in this situation and so I have no power”, etc. 

What Are You Giving Voice To?

Am I listening to my voice or someone else’s?

As mentioned before, the mind is a recording device and is there to help you navigate physical reality safely.

But what if your physical reality has gone through a significant trauma or upheaval?

What if you’re unconsciously accessing agreements that are no longer  relevant or are now in conflict with one another?

What if the voices in your head are just echoes of what used to be?

Conflicting or out of date agreements cause confusion and blockages in your mind. That can create situations where you’re sabotaging yourself and don’t even know it. If you’d like to find out if that’s happening to you, ask yourself:

“Am I listening to messages, assumptions or agreements that are in conflict with each other?”

If so, can you tell what they are?

Notice how your mind gets confused and doesn’t know what action to take. Then when you do make a decision, whatever agreements you have that are in conflict with that decision come up and create obstacles. These obstacles could impair your health or well-being in serious ways, so it’s well worth it to address them and clear out the landscape of your mind on a regular basis.

“Are these conflicts causing miscommunications, disharmony or poor health?”

To help you release the conflicts, imagine that the lines in this Circle are going limp and moving around like strings of spaghetti. Do that both crossed and uncrossed. It’s time to let go of any fixated thinking!

 

A Solution for Healing Inner Conflicts.

Use the Intuitive Learning Circle below to release conflicting or harmful agreements on a neurological level. All you need to do is look at the Circle and consciously imagine any “contracts” that are outdated or causing you harm are unlocking all the way up and down your spine.

Here are some “global” agreements that might be useful for you to release: 

“I release any agreements, obligations or vows that perpetuate harm to myself or others.”

“I let go of any agreement that’s based on lies or that limits my ability to support my current needs.”

“I release all agreements, obligations or vows that sabotage my health or prevent me from taking good care of myself.”

“I release all agreements, beliefs, or obligations that I’ve been forced into against my free will.”

What other agreements can you think of that might be good for you to release?       “I release ___________.”

 

Establish New Agreements or Renegotiate Old Ones that Will Help You Adapt to the Changes You’re Going Through:

“I now decide to love and respect myself. I find excellent resources to help me be happy, healthy and prosperous.”

“I listen to my Soul’s guidance.”

“I am fully present and can easily adapt to necessary changes.”

“Under my current circumstances, I’m going to need to renegotiate my agreements around ___________________, etc.”

*Notice that you’re replacing the old agreements with supportive, new ones. 

 

Release Conflicts from the Collective Unconscious:

Remember, your mind can also access agreements in the collective unconscious, which is the recorded memory of human kind. Some of those memories or agreements may be causing you harm without you knowing it!

Use this Circle to consciously pull your energy back from people, places and old intentions that no longer serve you.

“I pull my energy back to the here and now. I reclaim my gifts and talents. I use them to fulfill my Soul’s purpose and my highest good.”

“To Each Their Own”

Before you move on, make sure you’re not holding onto anything that doesn’t belong to you! Visualize sending them back to where they belong.

 

Dissolve Harmful Patterns Left Over from Those Old Agreements:

“I dissolve any destructive mental / emotional patterns or templates that sabotage my health, my ___________ or the power of my word.”

Keep dissolving the heavy energy by sending it to the Sun until you can feel yourself standing in a beautiful open field with a clear blue sky.

 

Once the patterns are cleared, give your heart and Soul some relief through closure.

“All holes, leaks or damages to my energy field are sealed and healed. 

I follow the direction of healthy protection.”
