Luckily, you can learn to use Dog Medicine with this Mind Exercise to hone your intuitive abilities and develop clear perception about where we’re heading.

First, a word about environmental changes and getting a grasp on the larger picture…

Most people know on the unconscious level that a shift has occurred. However, the conscious mind may still be acting as if everything’s still the same.

In order to ADAPT, it’s very helpful for our minds to have signs and maps to assist us as we navigate the new terrain. That is the reason and purpose for all the symbols and Intuitive Learning Circles on this site.

For example, If you meditate on the “map” available in this image, your mind can get a better grasp on what it can organize around in the New Paradigm we’ve entered.

If You Would Like To Develop More Clear Perception On Your Journey You’ll Need to Know If You’re Heading in the Wrong Direction ~

There are several reasons why you might be unconsciously heading in the wrong direction.

One possibility could be that your energy is having a difficult time adjusting to all the significant environmental changes that are taking place. Sudden reversals, blockages and changes in momentum can cause our subtle energy fields to react in unusual ways. As you look at this first Circle, do you notice any rough glitches or reversed energies going on? Relax with it for a few minutes until things smooth out.

Your timing could be off, causing you to jump ahead before it’s a good idea to do so.

Most peoples circumstances are unstable at best and treacherous at worst.

It’s good to get your radar up and prepared for sudden dangers that are so prominent in times of DECLINE. Ask yourself:

“Is there a situation where I’m jumping to a conclusion before it’s a good idea to make any moves?”

If your answer is “yes,” it would be wise to stop and reconsider. Retrace your steps and see where the error is. If you take each step one at a time, you can avoid a great deal of trouble!

Your senses may have gotten all knocked out of balance. 

With so much going on, its easy to be distracted and confused by all the intense input that’s going on around you.

Fortunately, dog energy works incredibly well to help you with your inner guidance system – warning you to slow down and get your feet back under you.

Gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key and take a minute or two to consciously gather up all your senses for greater awareness. 

Out of balance intuition can over-ride clear perception.

There are also times when intuition gets too emotional and out of balance. That’s when we spend our time in the watery depths, fantasizing about how we want things to be or wish they were, rather than acknowledging how they actually are.

We can rectify that by bringing them into balance so that you can perceive things more clearly.  Imagine you can adjust the volume for seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling! Breathe in and take all the time you need.

Certainly, we’ve all had wishful thinking about that perfect lover or fears about the next worst case scenario. That’s natural. Yet, it’s important to be able to pull back into the here and now and not get too carried away. Otherwise, we may miss some important information or an opportunity that we need to take advantage of. Dog medicine is here to tell us that something really important is happening right now and we need to be paying attention!

So, before you plunge into the great unknown, take a few minutes to go through this grounding exercise, Develop Clear Perception, where you can make friends with dog energy and get all kinds of insight and guidance. 

Get Your Feet Firmly Planted On the Ground

Relax and gaze softly at the center open space of this Circle while you go through a few positive affirmations. If there’s a question, just be open to your gut response.

“I slow down because things may be moving too fast for me to sense the truth. “

“I’m willing to admit I don’t know what’s going on. Asking for help is a blessing.”

“Is my inner guidance sending me a warning?”

“Do I need to let go of something? Change something?”

“Do my instincts want to redirect my attention to a solution or something else?”

“In either case, am I willing to listen and learn?”

You may be surprised at the answers that are coming to you. If it didn’t work, relax! You can go back and do it again. Journaling is often a help.

Be sure to check the directions again and follow them if you’re not sure.

 

Use this next Circle the same way with this affirmation:

“I allow clear perception to heighten my instincts and intuition.”

Then ask:

“Am I willing to trust in the power of not knowing?”

“Is the ‘vibe’ around me helpful or harmful?”

Very interesting, isn’t it? We instinctively know when the “vibe” is right or wrong, but we often don’t appreciate the messages we get. We doubt and second-guess ourselves or we might willfully ignore our inner guidance system and try to force our way through.

Look at the Circle again and ask, “Am I heading in the direction of my best interests?”

“Am I making decisions that are in my best interests?”

“Am I taking actions that are helpful, harmful or simply ineffective?”

If you’re not clear yet, keep going with the exercise. You may need a few more easy corrections before the truth emerges.

Clear Perception and Being Present

Clear Perception - Gut Instinct

Often, how well we listen to our inner guidance is affected by how present we are in our bodies. It’s called gut instinct because when we’re really present, we can feel it in our solar plexus (the soft area in the front where our ribs go up).

You can use the Circle below with its positive affirmations to help you become more present and aware. Just relax and breathe while you gently look at it for a couple of minutes. Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience…

“I detach from blockages and harmful energy.”

“I am present, upright and facing forward. I am willing to hear the truth.”

Once you’ve finished centering yourself, hopefully, you’re feeling much better!

Use Dog Medicine to Handle Your Agreements Appropriately:

Another reason why we might not perceive clearly is because there’s some kind of problem with an agreement or commitment we’ve entered into on some level. In this busy, modern life, people tend to take their agreements too lightly and don’t realize how important their word is.

Perhaps paying attention to what we say seems like too much effort or too complicated. Yet, if you really want to be be loyal to yourself, being clear about your word and your agreements is super important. Especially agreements that you’ve made with yourself!

Here’s some tips about how to handle agreements successfully:

  1. You can keep your agreements and stay in integrity with your word.
  2. You can release agreements when they’re complete or no longer serve you.
  3. Or, you can consciously re-negotiate them when they need to be changed.

By the way, it’s also a good idea to pay attention if someone hasn’t been keeping their agreements with you. If that’s happening, it’s best to deal with the indiscretion asap. When we allow someone to break their word with us and then say or do nothing about it, we lose our own integrity by being disloyal to ourselves.

Stay Calm and Take a Few Deep Breaths:

It’s okay. Our situations are changing at a rapid pace and so are our priorities. To help you identify problem agreements, use this Circle to help you slow down again. Focus on yourself and your current goals.

“I bring my senses back into balance. 

I see myself and my goals as they really are in the present.”

 

Once you can perceive clearly, you may ask yourself:

“Have I been trying to keep agreements that are harmful to me? Is it time to renegotiate a pertinent agreement? or Am I ignoring an important agreement that I need to follow through on?”

If so, can you tell what those agreements are about? Take all the time you need with this… what insights do you get?

If you ignore them, they may turn around and bite you!

Use this Soul Contract Circle to imagine that any harmful agreements you may have are like contracts that can be melted down to adjust for what’s needed or burned up entirely. Use the Circle to visualize all harmful contracts interacting with a sacred, violet flame. Here’s some affirmations to assist you if you like:

“I release all agreements that no longer serve me.”

“I let go of ___________.   I reframe ____________.  I stop ____________.”

Possible new agreements could be:

“I am loyal and true to my Self. My needs are a priority.”

“I have faith. I listen to my instincts and take good care of my Self.”

“I ________________________________.”

Use Dog Medicine to Help You Sniff Out the Truth:

To complete the correction in your perception, it’s important to realize where your attention has really been. Use the Circle below like you did with the others and see if you can determine what you’ve been focusing on consciously or unconsciously that isn’t in your best interests.

“What have I been paying too much attention to?”

“What action(s) do I need to take to truthfully correct the situation?”

Pull yourself back out of any fantasies, delusions or unconscious fears.

It’s very important that you be present, paying attention to your own actions and using your beneficial karma to create your own priorities.

Energy Medicine for the New Paradigm

 

Imagine those beneficial actions you’ve taken in the past are all gathered like seeds in the center of this Circle. Visualize positive life force traveling down the lines towards your helpful karma, nourishing them and encouraging them to grow!

 

Now it’s time to redirect your attention to helpful people, opportunities and places. For additional help, ask these questions:

“What is my priority at this time?”

“What is my natural place in this situation – where do I belong?”

“Am I operating in the New Paradigm based on equality, co-operation and sustainable prosperity or the old paradigm based on fear and greed?”

 

Finally! It’s time to close the door on all those misuses of your time, attention and energies.

“I close the door on any drain or strain on my time, space, attention or energy.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

“I trust the wisdom of dog medicine.”

 

Before you move on, let this symbol help you close down any harmful energy channels from the old paradigm and tap into the generative energy flow of the New Paradigm instead.

“I close down all harmful energy channels.”

 “My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”

Know When Someone Is Lying

It seems like lying, misinformation and half-truths are everywhere. How can you know when someone is lying to you and when they’re telling the truth?

Did you know that you can develop ways to instinctually know when someone is lying to you?

Your gut instinct is a very good lie detector – as long as you’re present and paying attention! It’s just that for some reason, the information is being blocked from your conscious awareness and you can’t see the signs.

Some lies are obvious, yet in today’s social and political landscape, lies can get lost in the sheer overload of information and misconceptions. Group think. Betrayal. Herd mentality. It’s like a huge web that casts its shadow over the land and curses everyone!

In this exercise we’re going to unravel several reasons why you might not know when someone is lying to you.

One of the biggest problems is shock. Unfortunately, shock can take up a lot of mental bandwidth and keep us from being able to discern properly and actually make us numb to all the lies that are bombarding us from every direction. That’s why we’re going to start by clearing out any shock that might block your ability to sense misinformation, half-truths or know when someone is looking to cheat you outright. Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that helps you release shock and inner conflict.

Imagine you can use it to focus in on a dark web within your mind that’s preoccupying you at the moment. 

What are you concerned about?

You may get a conscious image or message, or you may not.

If your mind is blank or frozen, focus on how “blank” or “frozen” it is, then relax into it with your body.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine that you can melt it, like a big iceberg floating out in the ocean. Just melting away in the Sun. 

Allow your iceberg to melt away completely – until it’s gone.

Check for other webs or dark thoughts that you can do the same with.

Know When Someone is Lying to You

You may have a “blind spot.” For some reason, you’ve been conditioned to ignore certain things or not see things coming. You may be able to remedy some of that by gazing softly at this Reiki Chakra Key, together with these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance all of my senses.”

“I use them to be present and alert.”

“I use them to sense what will keep me safe, productive and well.”

“I can clearly sense what will help me to _______________.”

 

Your thought process may have been thrown for a loop or you could be in a state of confusion due to so much information and so many changes going on around you. Excess emotional stress can cause problems with switching, which is where your body and mind have gotten out of sync with each other.

In that situation, a part of the mind gets confused about which direction is which and is unable to communicate properly to the rest of you, including your body. Other terms for this might be dyslexia or the “twisties”.

Use this Circle to help you get your bearings again. It helps to use affirmations like:

“I am positioned correctly inside my body.”

“Right is to the right of me. Left is to the left of me.”

“Up is above me and down is below me.”

“I am inside of me. Others are outside of me.”

 

Another possibility is that you’re being distracted. Distractions are a liar’s best friend, because if you’re not paying attention, liars can get away with all kinds of things. 

To see if this is happening with you, experiment with this Circle that helps you focus your attention. If you follow the directions, you can get useful answers that could really help you out.

All you have to do is relax and gaze softly at the center open space of this Circle while you ask yourself some simple “yes” or “no” questions. Be sure to be receptive and listen for the answer that comes.

“Am I being lied to?

Is this a deliberate all- out lie or is there a misconception going on?

Are half-truths involved? Betrayal?

If so, do I know who’s involved?

Male or female? More than one person? 

Is this group-think or propaganda?

Could it involve an idea or project I’m working with?”

Sometimes we sabotage ourselves with negative self-talk or false inner guidance. This Circle can help you be more aware of it.

Is something based on a lie I don’t know about?”

“Am I listening to some false guidance?”

“Am inadvertently lying to myself?”

“Do I have a blind spot here?”

“Am I telling myself something that’s causing me to doubt myself?”

You may be surprised at the answers that came to you. If it didn’t work, you can go back and do it again. Repetition builds confidence!

If the answer you get is “no, I’m not being lied to,” count yourself lucky, you’re a very fortunate person! If the answer is “yes” or “maybe”, you might want to continue with the following extra-intuitive activities to see what’s going on and get some emotional healing around the issue.

Extra Intuitive Activities

We might block information about lies because we don’t want to believe it!

Of course, this is understandable, yet the lies or misconceptions could really be doing some damage. It doesn’t do any good to pretend that something isn’t a problem when it actually is. When we try to deny the truth, we’re actually sabotaging our own best intentions.

The good news is, if you know when someone is lying or giving you incorrect information, you have an opportunity to save yourself from a tremendous amount of damage. 

Use this Circle to gently ask yourself:

“Am I willing to know when someone isn’t telling the truth?”

“In this situation, am I blocking myself from the truth?”

 

Use this next Circle the same way and ask:

“Am I willing to know what the lie is?”

“Is it helpful for me to know in this case?”

“If I’m not willing, am I open to the possibility?”

Very interesting, isn’t it? We instinctively know when someone is lying, but we often don’t want to know. Look at the Circle again and ask: “Is there a part of me that’s being left in the dark?”

“How much damage has been done?”

“About how long has this been going on?”

“Do I want to shift my perspective and see things as they really are?”

If you’re not clear what the lie is yet, keep going with the exercise. You may need a few more corrections before the truth emerges.

Having courage to face the truth is one of the most important things we can develop in ourselves. A mind without courage cannot expand and learn new ways of being.

Use this Circle to help you remember a time when you had the courage to face the truth and do what needed to be done. Once you find that experience, relax and let your body remember what it feels like.

“I have the courage, the resources and the capacity to face the truth.”

 

 

When you’re under the influence of a lie, it’s useful to release your agreement to fall under its spell. Use this Soul Contract Circle to imagine that the lie (or lies) are like contracts that you can burn. Use the Circle to visualize all those contracts burning up into ashes. Let these affirmations assist you if you like:

“I release all agreements to be used, intimidated, entrapped or ______.”

“I let go of the lies from _________ and the lies about _________.”

I discard any tendencies to be careless, foolish, misguided or cheated.”

“I make a decision to take good care of myself. I protect myself against lies,  deception and betrayal. My Soul knows what’s best for me to do.”

 

Sometimes it’s really important to face the truth and understand what’s required of us to change. Use the Circle below like you did with the others and give yourself a chance to reorganize your awareness.

“I let go of wishful thinking. I turn down the volume so I can listen, sense and follow my instincts. I naturally know what to do.”

Make notes of what you think would be helpful to you. “When it comes to __________, it would help to __________ and  ___________.” 

 

We often overlook, ignore or forget the details and other alternatives available to us. Use the center, open area of this Circle to help you focus in on the details of your situation.

“Is there some other detail that I need to be more aware of?”

“Are there other options or choices I could make?”

Stay with it and wait patiently for new information to make its way to you.

 

Meditate on the DNA symbol with this affirmation. Relax into it with your mind, body and Soul.

“I find an opening for the truth. The path is clear.”

 

Once you can sense that opened path, ask yourself this important question:

“What is the best, most joyful thing for me to do in this situation?”

 

Empower your ability to follow through with what is best for you.

“I am empowered to connect with my highest guidance and to follow through with my highest good in mind.” 

 

Congratulations! You now know when someone is lying to you – and when you listen to your gut, you know what to do!

You’ve just given yourself an amazing gift that’s going to save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Be sure to close the door on old emotional channels of misinformation and pain.

“All holes are sealed and healed. I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

SOS Self-care Formula #4: Develop Healthy Boundaries

SOS - Develop Healthy BoundariesMany people, especially those who are highly sensitive or empathic, want to learn how to develop healthy boundaries because they are so open to thoughts and energies coming from other people. Sometimes those thoughts get attached in their minds and spin around, causing a great deal of discomfort.

If the pathways remain open, all kinds of trouble (karma, issues, illness or confusion) can pass back and forth between people without their awareness. If left unchecked, this type of attachment can manifest in negativity, sudden and mysterious illnesses, mental confusion, issues with prosperity or chronic states of overwhelm.

It’s a valuable skill to know how to shift your energy and Develop Healthy Boundaries.

Self-care Formula #4 from SOS – Soul Oriented Solutions uses affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles to help you learn to consciously close off the pathways to  negative thoughts or emotions and shift into a more positive mindset. Here’s an example of how it works. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you contemplate each of these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I focus them to be present and aware of appropriate boundaries.”

“I use them to become aware of intrusive thoughts, attachments, illness and confusion so that I can let them go.”

“I focus on a hopeful future and productive actions that will benefit my health and happiness.”

Use Develop Healthy Boundaries when you are:

  • Agitated or feeling out of sync
  • Distressed by recent news
  • Getting negative or anticipating hardship
  • Feeling claustrophobic
  • Unable to meditate or sit still
  • Obsessed with a particular person or situation.

Here’s how it works: Find a quiet place if possible, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Follow the sequence of symbols while you read their accompanying instructions. Gaze gently at each Circle for about two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working and that your mind and body are relaxing.
Be sure to go through the entire formula and at the end, give yourself time to rest and integrate.

Developing a quiet mind and light heart changes your perspective and that makes it easier to follow through with your true priorities.

Gently contemplate each step for clarity and better boundaries…


Step 1. Balance

Begin by consciously breathing in on the count of three and slowly exhaling on the count of five. It’s helpful if you can breathe in through your nose. Do that three or four times while you gently focus on the Circle.
Continue breathing and bring your awareness to your tailbone.

What do you need to get in balance about?

 

Step 2. Calm

Keep breathing with your belly soft and relaxed.
Let your shoulders drop.
Gaze softly at the Circle and imagine you can turn down the feelings or thoughts that are turned up too high, just like the volume on a radio dial. Be sure to do that both crossed and uncrossed.

What thoughts relax you? 

 

Step 3. Centering

See if you can collect any noisy thoughts or distractions into the center of this Circle. You may sense something like a web or a bunch of strings that have gotten all tangled up with each other. Or, you may get a sense of an open, gaping hole. Whatever it is, bring it all into the center.

 Are you getting caught up in other people’s thoughts or emotions?

 

Step 4. Protection

Now that you have all the distractions and emotional energy gathered up, let the next Circle help you close that gaping hole or any other open pathways between you and all those noisy thoughts.
Keep closing the hole until all pathways are completely sealed and healed.

What are you ready to say goodbye to?

 

Step 5. Beauty

Now you’re ready to shift your attention. Breathe in and exhale. Beauty is everywhere. Consciously turn your attention to it.
Take your time and let the Circle help you call the most majestic, inspiring scene into your mind that you can imagine. Form a mental picture of what it’s like. Imagine the sounds and how it would feel to be there.

What beautiful places have you been or would like to go to?

 

Step 6. Trust

Come back to your breathing again and notice how calming it is.
You can sense the steady rhythm of your heart.
The gentle expansion and contraction of your lungs.
Breathing in and letting go. Learning to trust.

What can you trust? 

 

Step 7. Intention

Give yourself permission to slow down and focus your energy on your priorities. Turn your attention to what really matters to you. Can you name what’s most important?
Let the Circle help you lift any falsehood or pressure you may feel right up off of you and send it to the Sun. Without all that pressure, it’s easier to know what your true priorities are.

What’s important to you now?

 

Step 8. Grounding

Gather your resources and get present in your body. Put your feet on the ground and feel your connection with the Earth.
If you like, you can stretch or move around in any way that feels good.
Flexing your fingers and toes can really help.

What do you feel in your body?

 

Step 9. Surrender

Imagine with each new, relaxing breath you are able to fill your heart with compassion and understanding for yourself.
Let any heaviness you feel lift up and out of you.
Dark clouds are dissolving into blue skies and sunlight.

What can you do that expresses love?

 

Step 10. Resolution

Before you finish this formula, make a commitment to stay centered and follow through on your priorities. Your health and happiness are important.
You can easily deflect foreign energies, other people’s thoughts or expectations.
It’s genuinely joyful to have a quiet mind and a light heart.

What joyful decisions can you make?

 

Step 11. Completion

Use the Circle to help you finish closing any harmful pathways that would lead you back to the noise and distractions of the external world.
Close the doors and seal the leaks – as if they were never there.
You are calm and ready to follow through now. Your mind is able to rest now.

 How do you feel now?

 

Finish this formula with some thoughts to come back to…

What are some words of encouragement I could give myself?

 

What are some ways I could be gentler with myself?

 

What are some things I am grateful for?

 

Be sure to give yourself time to rest and integrate. Now might be a good time to take a walk or go out into Nature if you can.

A Mind Exercise for Grounding In The Truth ~

Grounding in the TruthMany people realize how important grounding in the truth is because external power struggles can so easily uproot us from the truth about what’s best for us.

Staying centered requires that you know how to use the power of your mind to control your own energy.

To find out if this Five Step Mind Exercise from RESOLVE can help you, gaze for at the symbol in this picture for a moment and ask:

  •  Are you having difficulty getting and staying grounded?
  •  Do you feel caught up in a power struggle?
  •  Do you need to disconnect from a meddling or intrusive person?
  •  Are you feeling trapped by other peoples agendas?
  •  Have you been wasting energy on the past?
  •  Are you worrying or fearful about the future?
  •  Is it hard to think straight or get dependable guidance?

Here’s how Grounding in the Truth works:

Put both feet flat on the floor and start with your arms and legs uncrossed. Simply gaze softly at the images while you repeat the affirmations that go with them for several minutes. Relax and breathe. Here’s an example:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I use them to be present and aware so that I can actualize my Souls purpose.”

“I use them to help me protect myself and resolve my concerns appropriately.”

“I am aware of what’s most important.”

You will probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, that means the Circles are working to focus your mind and clean up your energy. You will know you’re done when the energy calms down and you can think clearly. Then you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process. Once you’re done, remember to relax and allow your energy to settle.

Mind Body Integration For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!


Step One: Begin by establishing a strong intention stated in the positive.

You might want to write it down. Examples:

“I maintain my integrity and am true to myself.”

“I gather my resources to be successful in my current endeavors.”

“I disengage from this power struggle, ” etc.

Step Two – Resolve

Gaze softly at the Circle while affirming these thoughts:

“I detach from petty assumptions, ego concerns and things that don’t matter.”

“I disconnect from unproductive projects and inappropriate people.”

“I resolve to use my power wisely for what’s genuinely good for me.”

“I release all subconscious agreements to tap into other people’s energy or to allow them to tap into mine.”

 

Step Three ~ Self-determination

Connect to this Circle through your breath, then continue with these affirmations:

“I reclaim all of my energy, power and gifts.”

“I use them to be present and alert.”

“I use them to create my Souls purpose.”

 

Step Four – Centering

Bring your awareness to your heart center and keep breathing:

“I am centered and my heart is strong.”

“I let go of _________, anxiousness, pain, sorrow, etc.”

“I know how to nourish myself appropriately.”

“I maintain healthy boundaries. My life is my own.”

 

Step Five- Grounding

Take all the time you need with this Circle until you feel stable and calm.

This exercise, Dispelling Self-doubt is an excerpt from the Soul Oriented Solutions PTSD Workbook by Rheanni Lightwater ~

 Use this mind exercise for dispelling self-doubt when you are:

  • Suddenly overcome with distrust or confusion
  • Sorting out what’s really going on in a relationship
  • Having trouble distinguishing what’s true and what’s not
  • Caught up in the past and need to clear the slate
  • Wanting to let go of thoughts or beliefs that cause you harm.

Dispelling Self-doubt Mind Exercise PTSDIt’s so important to understand that sometimes we’re tapping into a collective fear or the judgements of those around us – even if we’re in a basically healthy situation ourselves. Empathic abilities are more prevalent than most people would have you believe.

People are sensitive to each others thoughts and emotions more than ever, and it’s especially easy to tap into negative thoughts that you grew up with as a child because they’re so familiar. Yet, you don’t want to live in the past or under the shadow of other people’s projections.

When making decisions about what’s best for you now, you want to be able to distinguish between a thought or a memory and the reality of what’s really happening in the present.

Dispelling Self--doubt Projection-ReflectionThis self-care formula for Dispelling Self-doubt is here to help you clear away some of those projections and see things more clearly, from your own viewpoint. If your efforts to solve a problem are causing you to become overwhelmed and frustrated, go through this exercise and watch how your perspective changes! By playing, you’ll get to the bottom of what’s going on and access your intuition, which will give you constructive guidance on how to effectively come to a solution, at least for yourself.

Here’s how it works:

Dispelling Self-doubt and Projections

Step One:

Relax and gaze gently at this Soul Circle while you ask yourself this question:
“Is there someone or something in my life today that I don’t trust?”

 

Step Two:

Tune into this Circle to help you identify what’s involved.
Who or what is it about? There may be more than issue.
Is this real or a projection?
Is it a memory that seems real to you?

 

Step Three:

Make a mental list of the fears, assumptions and judgements that come to you. Include any beliefs about yourself, others or the situation in general that’s having a negative effect on you. Consider how things are appearing and what’s happened in the past. Is there a pattern of prejudice based on gender roles, status, sexual preferences, levels of experience, intelligence or general abilities?

Examples: Is there something about the physical situation? Is there an emotional component? Are you unclear about your role or responsibilities? When was the last time you felt this way?

“I assume ______. I’m afraid ______. My judgment is ______. I believe ______.”

 

 

Step Four:

Now that you have your list, go back through the answers and ask yourself:

“Are these things really true?”
“Do they have to be this way?”

Whether they are or not, see if you can move them further away from you or puncture them like balloons so that you can see them more objectively and not take them personally.

 

Step Five:

Imagine that your list of untrue thoughts and beliefs can be gathered up and gently burned until there’s nothing left but ashes. Go ahead and see that happening in your mind’s eye right now…

Now that you’ve burned them up forever, how much more calm is your mind?

 

Step Six:

 Is there any other garbage that needs to be dispelled?

Are you willing to let it go? If so, relax and see it clearing out.

If you’re not willing to let it go, why not?

Is it still serving you in some way?

Would it help to go through the formula again specifically around this garbage?

 

Step Seven:

If the garbage is gone and you feel clear, you’re ready to focus on productive activities that will help you create a happier life.

“I connect with productive thoughts and solutions.”

You may want to make a list of things to do that will help you now.

 

Step Eight.

Focus your attention and energy on these activities, like aiming at a bullseye.

Congratulations!

You have freed yourself from the grip of projections, paranoia and self-doubt. Now would be a good time to explore the possibilities that you’re open to now.

Santa Fe Intuitive: In My Words,  Rheanni Lightwater, BFA, CHT, CKP

The phrases I use most often when describing what I do are ‘freedom and choice,’ ‘being joyful,’ ‘personal responsibility’, ‘sustainable prosperity’ and ‘clearing the way for your heart’s desire’. During an initial consultation, I’ll want to know what you want to have happen and if I can assist you in getting there. I see my role in the healing process as a teacher who can guide you through some of the more difficult transitions of your life. I offer a safe, learning space for you to discover how powerful and capable you are.

I believe in the innate healing capabilities of the human spirit. When I first began studying the area of self-healing and soul retrieval in 1998, I already had eight years of bodywork experience working with people who had suffered from traumatic experiences. I saw everything from emotional and physical abuse, to sexual abuse and post-traumatic stress. I learned how the body forms patterns of contraction and hyperextension to compensate and protect itself from pain. I found out that the memory of a traumatic event is held in the tissue and perpetuated through stress messages that are routinely sent through the central nervous system like a continuous feedback loop.

It became apparent to me as I worked with ptsd, that most people’s impulses and immediate reactions to situations are based on their past experiences. Bits of important movements and memories become frozen through trauma or shock, leaving the person in a state of amnesia. I also noticed that people with this kind of amnesia can be highly sensitive and often have difficulty following through on their goals and hopes for the future. 

I have observed recurring episodes where physical and mental symptoms would erupt, seemingly without warning. However, these episodes are almost always triggered by an event or person that brings back memories of a past traumatic event. It seems that the mind and body are definitely working together on some unknown level to sabotage any efforts made towards full recovery. 

As a part of my own journey, I have also been working through my own learning disabilities resulting from traumatic early life situations. I have suffered from dyslexia for as long as I could remember. My mind would often go blank and anxiety attacks were frequent and debilitating.

One day, I decided that no matter what, I would find a way to bridge the gap between the limited life I was living and the life I dreamed of having. I decided that I would search every avenue that might bring me into contact with that unknown level where mind and body meet and rectify the damage that had been done. At the time, the books all said that victims of trauma and abuse could never fully recover, that they would at best, just learn to live with it. I wasn’t willing to settle for that answer.

I pursued every modality available to me, including Hypnotherapy, Hanna Somatics, Cranial-sacral Therapy, Structural Integration and dozens of other forms of bodywork. I learned about Homeopathy and put myself in the care of a fine Homeopathic Nurse Practitioner in Los Angeles.

Anything that held promise, I investigated tirelessly. I came into contact with various forms of indigenous healing – Hawaiian, Peruvian, Chinese, Tibetan and Native American – just to name a few. I meditated, learned kinesiology and got attuned to Reiki. In 1998, I began writing about what was working and why. I studied soul retrieval, dreams and symbology, shamanism and theories about the collective unconscious. Each modality was helpful in its own way, yet I kept having trouble holding ground. I would do all right for a while, but then I’d fall back into the same old patterns.

It wasn’t enough for me to just escape from unwanted thoughts and feelings. I had learned that problems cannot be solved from the same mental position they were created from. During intensive shamanic journeys it became clear that a transformation of consciousness was required to get from where I was to where I wanted to be and that my emotional healing was inextricably interwoven with how I was relating to my environment. What I needed was a way to retrain myself to adapt to the changes happening all around me. I needed to be stronger,  more resilient and able to access  inner resources I didn’t know I had. That is when the Intuitive Learning Circles™ came into being and my intuitive abilities came in full force. 

Rheanni Lightwater, Santa Fe Intuitive Using KinesiologyIn 2002, I started working as a medical intuitive at a Naturopathic Detoxing Clinic in Tigard, Oregon that specialized in helping highly sensitive people detox from exposure to harmful chemicals, electro-magnetic poisoning and heavy metals. I was asked to come up with energy medicine protocols that would assist people in detoxing quicker and easier.  I succeeded with the Re-balancing Cellular Resonance process using the Intuitive Learning Circles™. Soon, the Doctors started sending me home with the patients to find out what they were reacting to in their environment. That is when I discovered how important Feng Shui and space clearing is to living a happy, healthy life.

SOS Mind Exercise #8: Setting Up a Safe Space

Rheanni LightwaterSOS - Setting Up A Safe PlaceYour environment is very important to your emotional health. It gives you a sense of belonging and support. It also gives you a place to center yourself and be grounded in. If you’re not experiencing that where you are now, you can do something about it or at least open up to some helpful possibilities by going through Mind Exercise #8 Setting Up a Safe Space from SOS – Soul Oriented Solutions.

In this mind exercise you will be utilizing your intuitive insight to implement very simple changes that can make a world of difference in how your space feels. You’ll discover that your intuition and unconscious mind are much more aware of your environment than you know!

Setting Up a Safe Space is for you if you are:

~ Going through a major transition or renovation
~ Feeling ill or unsafe in your environment
~ Having difficulty sleeping
~ Sensing that clutter is taking over
~ Experiencing difficulty in moving forward
~ Repeatedly feeling restless or anxious
~ Wanting your environment to support your personal growth.

Go through this mind exercise by reading each step and then gazing softly at the Circle that goes with it to gain insight about what creative changes you can make in your environment that will help you. Learn more about the Intuitive Learning Circles >


1. The goal of Setting Up a Safe Space is for you to get clarity about how well your space is supporting you and what you might do to make improvements.

First, take some time to slow down while you gaze softly at the Circle. Breathe in and out several times. Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw.

Now that you’re relaxed, imagine you can see the space you’re inquiring about moving in slow motion.

What do you notice?

Go ahead and make notes about what you sense.

 

2. Feeling safe is a major priority. Innocent happenings such as loud noises, flashing lights, repetitive motion or high frequencies can cause unpleasant reactions in you without your being consciously aware of them. Gaze at this Circle and ask for help so that you can get more aware.

Is there anything in your space or immediate environment that could be triggering an unsettling reaction in you?

  • Is there a flashing light? Sudden movements?
  • A sound? Are there disturbing frequencies?
  • Are toxic influences present? Anything else?

 

3. There may be clutter in the environment that causes you to be anxious.

Relax and ask these questions: “How does clutter affect me?”

“Is there any clutter that I can remove that will help ease the situation?”

“What is it and where is it located?”

Is there anything else?”

 

4. Physical objects carry a lot of energy through them, especially if they have been gifted to you or are second hand pieces. These could be books, furniture, pictures and other objects of art. They could be inside the building or outside.

Are there any objects that are having a negative effect on you or anyone else in your space? Include pets and frequent visitors

If so, can you identify them? What is the concern?

Do they simply need to be moved or rearranged?

Do they need to be cleaned or removed completely?

 

5. Is there anything else that’s irritating you?

Identify it if you can.

What will remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, cleaned, cleared or rearranged?

Does anything need to be removed completely?

Is there anything else?

 

6. Is there anything that you could bring into your space that would help you be more creative or productive?

Would anything increase your good health or happiness?

Could anything be done to increase your sense of safety?

What might you add that would bring more beauty into your space?

Congratulations! You can finish Setting Up a Safe Space by reminding yourself that you have a place to be and now you have a plan to make it even better!

See things through the lens of common sense and inner guidance. Dispense with ungrounded over-indulgences in whatever form they take.

To clear away complications and wasted effort, it may be necessary for you to refocus and look at your situation from a more objective perspective. As you do so, remember the strength and power that lives within you. By ADAPTING to your new awareness and simplifying your life, you will find many unexpected rewards.”

Simply look at the sequence of Circles below while you ponder the questions or positive affirmations that go with them.

Take a few breaths and relax. Use a soft focus to help you go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol with a soft, relaxed gaze. Repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from scattered to focused  –  from complexity to simplicity – from distractions to priorities.”

 

2. While looking at this Circle, think about the different activities you are engaged in. Ask yourself:

“Am I putting too much pressure on myself?”

“Am I spreading myself too thin?”

“Have I been seeing this situation honestly?”

 

3. Notice if the whole situation makes you feel anxious or uneasy. Breathe a few times and allow this Circle to help you to calm down and see more clearly.

 

4. Use this Circle from Reiki Chakra Keys to open and balance your third eye chakra. You can do this by focusing your attention on the Circle while you relax and breathe for a few moments. Use these positive affirmations to help:

“I open my intuition and common sense to become aware of what I truly need.” 

 

5. Use this symbol to ask for help from your Soul to simplify your life and balance your priorities. Once you’ve made a sincere request, be patient and listen for guidance.

“I need to _______________.”

5. Now that you’ve cleared up some of your misperceptions, you can use these next Circles to help you separate fact from fiction. Start by asking yourself:

“What percentage of the work that I’m doing is actually benefitting me?”

“Are there any activities or assumptions I’m making that are actually a waste of my time and pulling me off track?”

If so, can you name what they are?

Does it seem as though you’re just circling around and around without getting what’s really important done? Are you being as direct and efficient as you could be?

Describe what your experience has been like.

 

“Is there clutter I could clear up that would help me get back on track?” 

Make sure it’s your clutter! If it belongs to someone else, use the Circle to visualize sweeping it all up and sending it back to wherever it belongs. 

 

“Am I wasting energy and time due to lack of focus?”

“Is there some other issue that I need to be aware of?”

 

6. Relax for a minute and tune into your solar plexus area. Let the energy get balanced in your 3rd chakra.

 

Is there something about the situation that reminds you of the way your family sometimes behaves? How about someone else that you know? If so, are you willing to let it go? Gently visualize letting that energy go to the Sun and disappearing.

 

 

7. Relax with this image for a minute or two.

“I am willing and able to let go of complications and simplify my life.”

 

8. Take your time and use this Circle to clear confusion or complexities out of your mind. You may see them as a million details, numbers, calculations or just a bunch of heavy smoke.

“I clear away the smoke screen so I can see what would actually help me.”

 

9. As you gaze softly at this symbol from Divine Nature Activated, imagine that you can clear up the communication lines between your mind and your body.

    • If communication lines seem tangled up, see them going to the Sun and disappearing. 
    • If communication seems outdated, see your internal system upgrading.
    • If you seem disconnected, imagine your communication lines straightening out and connecting properly within yourself and the outside world.

(You’ll want  to do this while you’re both crossed and uncrossed over the mid-line of your body).

 

 

10. Once you’re perceiving things more clearly, ask a few more questions:

“What am I struggling with and am I willing to let it go?”

Robert Morrison DCH
is the co-founder of Soul Resources LLC, which is an Approved School of Hypnosis by the American Board of Hypnotherapy, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His current projects include a new hypnotherapeutic model of healing and goal-setting designed to assist people in letting go of unwanted habits, resolve conflicts within themselves and with others and teach people how to consciously create their own reality as a way of realizing their full potential.

Robert teaches the Hypnosis Certification Trainings, Intuition Training and Past Life Regressions Intensives for Soul Resources LLC.

Robert is a graduate of American Pacific University and is registered and certified as a Hypnosis Teacher Trainer with the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH) and has been a Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1998. He is trained in Past Life Regressions, NLP, Regression Therapy, Parts Therapy, and various other advanced hypnotherapeutic methods at the American Institute of Hypnotherapy.

In addition, he has extensive experience with Intuition Training including: Spirit Releasement Therapy, Time Line Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Pain Management, Holographic Healing, Kinesiology, Holotropic Breathwork and Peruvian Shamanism.

Dr. Morrison is also a Third Degree Reiki Master and Karuna© Reiki Master. He holds Masters Degrees in Music from Northwestern University and Public Administration from California State University.

We are now moving into an age of healing where people are their own, most profound healers. We no longer look to our doctors with complete trust to take care of what ails us, nor do we always accept their diagnosis or opinions as absolute and infallible. I believe, on a material level, the rising cost and demand for health care, easy access to information and a more educated and savvy society have created this. Our society is now beginning to realize that our emotional and spiritual health plays a major part in our physical well being. I believe it’s our thoughts and emotional state that create our physical health.

No matter what state your physical, mental, emotional or spiritual health is in, you can decide to change it and bring back to any desirable state that you choose. There is no such thing as a hopeless disease, phobia, habit, relationship or state of being and there is no one who can cure it for you without your active participation. Though hypnotherapy, you can reclaim your power and the will to succeed. You can also align the unconscious mind with your power and will to create a deep expectation and faith in your most joyful hopes and aspirations and know that they will come true.

The role of the healer in the 21st Century is one who acts as both a guide and a mirror showing you who you are and assisting you past your perceived blocks. Our role is to hold the space for you to discover how powerful and capable you are.  

The Approach of Soul Resources LLC

It is difficult to come to forgiveness and peace with ourselves for many reasons that include our upbringing, societal norms, past experiences and host of other events both known and unknown. All of our biographical and transpersonal experiences along with the current state of society, nature and our planet often “inter-play” together to create a seemingly irrational experience of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual maladies.

Both Rheanni and I know that it’s possible for these forces to be woven into a new and beautiful tapestry of Self, but first, the thread and yarn must be untangled. Soul Resources LLC has been registered as an Approved Hypnosis School by the American Board of Hypnotherapy since 2011.

Requirements for the Soul Resources, LLC Hypnotherapy Certification in NM

  1. Schedule an initial interview with the instructor for admission.
  2. Attend the class (48 hours).
  3. Do the reading and assignments (10 hours). The textbooks we use are Hypnosis – a Comprehensive Guide by Tad James and The Wizard Within by A.M Krasner.
  4. Final test – which will be the creation of an intervention of a situation you might encounter as a hypnotherapist, tailor made to what you’re thinking your practice will look like and creating marketing materials for your practice (15 hours).
  5. Upon completion, Soul Resources, LLC will assist you with Certification and Registration with the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

Once the class is completed you will have your ABH Registration and Certification and materials and ideas in starting your hypnotherapy practice or a plan to utilize it as a tool for your existing practice.

CURRICULUM & OVERVIEW OF Hypnotherapy Certification in NM

Weekend #1: Induction of Deep Trance Phenomenon Techniques

Saturday 10am – 6pm
The first full day is devoted to trance induction techniques and how to use suggestion to facilitate internal change. The direct and indirect induction techniques of Milton Erickson and George Estabrooks are the main focus. Included will be the history of hypnosis, what is hypnosis, how to go into trance and why trance is such an effective way to facilitate positive change.

Sunday 10am – 6pm:
Learn general interview techniques and how to manage a hypnotherapy session from the beginning to end. Special attention is paid to the induction techniques of Dave Elman. Included is how to demystify hypnosis, conduct a successful interview, create rapport with your client, utilize deepening techniques and convincers, plus how to create personalize suggestions and post-hypnotic suggestions with your client in mind for the most effective session possible. The techniques we teach has been tested with an extremely high success rate and can be utilized for many presenting problems.

Students will begin the process of creating an original hypnotherapeutic intervention as one of their class requirements.

We will also cover basic requirements for starting a hypnotherapy practice in New Mexico and review intake sheets. Note: New Mexico passed a law in 2009 regarding Unlicensed Health Care Practitioners. We will assist you with how this applies to a Hypnotherapy Practice in New Mexico and assist you with the necessary forms. By the end of the first weekend, students will know & demonstrate how to induce hypnotic trance both on themselves and with another person.

Weekend #2: General Clinical Hypnotherapy Techniques

Includes review, questions and clarification from the previous weekend allowing time to practice inducing trance and look at ideas that students have for basic marketing materials (cards, brochure, flyer, etc) for their practices. Students will turn in the first draft of their original hypnotherapeutic intervention as one of their class requirements and receive feedback.

Saturday 10am – 6pm

Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation –
The Three Session Smoking Cessation: Preparing to Become Smoke Free, The Cessation Session, and the Follow-up Session. We will explore the common causes for failure around cessation and address client concerns about physical addiction, weight gain and nervousness. Successful techniques in assisting clients to overcome these challenges will be outlined and practiced.

Hypnosis and Letting Go of Weight –
Students will learn the Four Session Weight Control Clinic – Belief Systems, Foods, Exercise and Processing. Plus techniques to assist clients with self esteem that often accompany weight issues including frustration, unreasonable expectations and self image, underlying motivations for emotional eating, letting go of past experiences and self-sabotage.

Sunday 10am – 6pm

Pain Control & Desensitizing Techniques-
Students will learn how to assist clients in producing Analgesia and Anesthesia through hypnosis and will learn various pain control techniques including glove anesthesia, managing secondary gain, dialoguing with pain, dissociation, past experience recall, jamming dialogue and redirection, exaggeration, location elimination and the use of Lightwater Energetic practices and meditation.

We will continue discussing legal and ethical considerations of hypnosis, such as scope of practice as well as beginning plans for marketing strategies including websites, social media and print media.

By the end of the second weekend, students have the materials and confidence to demonstrate all of the above Clinical Hypnotherapy Techniques.

Weekend #3: Spiritual Hypnotherapy and Intuitive Learning Circle™ Techniques

Includes review of completed hypnotherapy induction and marketing project.

Intuitive Learning Circle™ Trance Induction Techniques –
System developed by Rheanni Lightwater, CHT, CKP to assist clients to easily and automatically go into trance, discover the root causes of low energy, anxiety or other manifested problems, then implement behavioral/energetic corrections. Includes emotional healing, grief, trauma and self care for the therapist. Explore the Intuitive Learning Circles >

Performance Enhancement –
Creative confidence boosting techniques for being on target for sports, academics, test taking & and following through on goals Includes speed reading.

Spiritual Hypnosis –
Exploration into metaphysical applications of hypnosis for spiritual healing, including automatic writing, soul retrieval, spirit releasement, working with archetypes and Inner Guides.

After the Three Weekends Are Over – Students are given opportunities for practice sessions with other students, mentoring and continuing education classes including Regression Therapy, Muscle Testing, Reiki I, II, III, Spirit Releasement Therapy and much more.

Registration and Refund Policies
Registrations for the Hypnotherapy Certification in NM Training are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. All workshops have limited enrollment, and many fill up quickly. Payment must be received in order to reserve your space.

Please note that all registration deposits are non refundable if you cancel less than 7 days prior to class starting date. Cancellations up to 7 days prior to class we will transfer 50% of your deposit to the very next class. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will not receive a refund or credit for deposit.

– Late Payments: There is a late payment fee of $35.00 if payment cannot be made according to the agreed upon monthly payment plan. In addition, a $35.00 fee applies to any checks returned for insufficient funds.

GENERAL LICENSING REGULATIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROFESSION OF HYPNOSIS

In most US states, Hypnosis does not require any sort of license (besides a regular business license). Attached is a link of current state regulations regarding hypnosis and hypnotherapy, please check your state in regard to this.

Most of the states that do regulate hypnosis do so for consumer protection and truth in advertising and require hypnotherapists to register.
