Healing Emotional Shock

Any person who’s going through serious loss could experience emotional shock.

The symptoms of emotional shock are disorientation, numbness, mental confusion or fragmentation. A person may even disconnect and leave their body. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. 

These are all ways that the unconscious mind protects us during a traumatic event.

This self-care formula can help when you are: 

  • Feeling stuck, immobilized, detached or trapped
  • Unable to rest, relax and let go
  • Caught in a blank or fixated state of mind
  • Waking up at night worried, with obsessive thoughts
  • Reliving painful experiences
  • Alternately feeling trapped and shattered.

Using the Intuitive Learning Circle method for healing emotional shock ~

Sometimes people who’ve just received bad news or experienced a traumatic event will tell you that they’re fine and not to worry about them. That’s because one of the main symptoms of being in shock is not being aware of being in shock

Why is that? During a shock, the mind goes blank as a form of protection.

Any person who’s going through serious loss or extreme changes could experience emotional shock. The symptoms are disorientation, numbness, inability to relax, mental confusion or fragmentation. A person may even disconnect and leave their body. This includes people who are witness to traumatic experiences in some way. These are all ways that the unconscious mind protects us during a traumatic event.

The shock response is natural and not a sign of spiritual, mental or emotional weakness. It is a physiological event. Nevertheless, if the person doesn’t get a chance to get grounded in their body again – or if they’re not able to – serious problems may develop. Blocked energy and a constant state of freeze in fight or flight mode takes its toll over time. Statements like: “I can’t think straight,” “my life was shattered” or “I feel disconnected” describe the experience of emotional shock.

If any of the above seems familiar, you can go through this formula step by step to help you access your own innate healing abilities and bring yourself back into balance.

Before you begin…

Because communication lines have become obscured or broken down completely, take a few moments to connect with the beneficial life force that’s available to you through this symbol for Divine Protection.

For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working and that your mind and body are relaxing.
Be sure to go through the entire formula and at the end, give yourself time to rest and integrate.


Healing Emotional Shock

Step One:

Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at Condor’s Medicine Circle that helps you to release shock and inner conflict.
Imagine you can use it to focus in on a conflict or painful experience that’s been difficult to move on from. Somehow, it’s always blocking your way.
If your mind has gone blank, relax into how “blank” it is. You may get a sense of what it’s about, or you may not.

Once you find the fixation, sit back and relax. Take several deep breaths.
If emotions come up, relax into them. Imagine that whatever’s happening – the darkness, the chaos or heaviness is also relaxing.
Let it soften and melt away, like ice under a beautiful beam of sunlight.
Keep your attention on it until it’s completely gone. Your energy is lifting up.

Repeat the process with other blockages or conflicts that come up.

 

Step Two:

While you’re relaxing, use this Soul Prayer Chart to remember another experiences where you were very happy or feeling good about an important physical goal.
What color or felt sense relaxes you and feels good?
If you can increase the color or sensation to be stronger and more vibrant, you’ve found your personal Soul Color or vibration.

Let it fill up the space around you. Now you can tap into your personal power and naturally bring it into balance, which gives you protection and relieves stress.
Being in balance makes everything easier!

Integrate with Divine Protection and give yourself the time to relax and enjoy that feeling.

 

Step Three:

The next step is to bring your senses into balance with River Medicine so that you can see, feel and hear things without the distortion that often accompanies shock.

As you breathe deeply, let the Circle help you to adjust the volume and pitch of your senses to just the right level for you.
Not too high – and not too low.

Soon you’ll be able to hear that “calm, gentle voice” inside that reminds you to pay attention to what matters the most for you.
You have greater awareness of things as they actually are.
You are present and sensing your surroundings much more clearly.

 

Step Four:

Some doors may have come open in your mind and if they have, it’s a good idea to close them to help you feel more protected. Take a moment and close them, both crossed and uncrossed before you continue with the rest of the formula.

 

Step Five:

When a person is recovering from emotional shock, their energy may express some instability like being scattered, reversed or even shut down completely.

If that’s happening for you, let this Correction Key help you build more resilience by repairing any glitches, holes or blockages in your system.

Keep relaxing with it until you feel the jagged energy smoothing out and the calm energy of your Soul coming through even stronger.

Step Six:

If your gut feels tight or uncomfortable, use this Reiki Chakra Key for your Solar Plexus Chakra to help you relax and get back into balance there.
Your solar plexus is that soft place in your belly where your ribs go up. Just take some nice breaths and feel the tension melt away again.

It’s safe. You feel safe and more relaxed with every breath.

It’s okay to be in your body.

Integrate with Divine Protection and allow time to let your energy settle.

 

Step Seven:

Now you can let your heart center recover. This Reiki Chakra Key helps you to reconnect with your Heart Chakra and unwind any residual tightness.

Center the energy with Divine Protection. Breathe deeply and take your time.
Your balance and vitality are returning. You can feel the tightness unwinding.

Allow any heaviness to lift up out of your heart and send it to the Sun where it can be transformed.

You are gaining the strength and resilience you need to let your own Light shine.

 

Step Eight:

Sometimes a person who’s healing from an emotional shock will be disoriented and feel a bit “out of their body.” In case that’s happening with you, take a few minutes with Starlight Medicine to consciously bring yourself back into your body.
Integrate with Divine Protection to make sure you’re back at home in your heart and solar plexus.

If you’re having trouble, notice the time and where you are. You can open and close your hands into fists. Move your fingers and wiggle your toes around.

Or, you can turn your eyes to the right of you and then to the left. Notice what is above and below – in front and behind you. Then, close your eyes and rest for a moment.
These actions all help you reorient after an emotional shock.

 

Step Nine:

This is a good time to re-establsh your connection with beneficial energies  around you and positive activities that will support you with Butterfly Medicine. 

It’s important that you be reminded about what’s nourishing and what’s not.  Use Butterfly’s Circle to strengthen your connection with the many things that your Soul finds important.

See if you can come up with at least three activities you could engage in today to help yourself get back up on your feet.

Think about each one – one at a time – and integrate with Divine Protection to help you move this positive energy forward into the future. 

 

Step Ten:

Now, it’s important to make sure that your energy can synchronize and ground in the new paradigm of Common Ground for the Common Good. Without proper grounding, you could get distracted and confused enough to go back to the deterioration and chaos of the old paradigm.

That’s not what you want. Deciding to move with Mother Nature rather than against her matters now more than ever!

Grounding in the New Paradigm

Let Electric Eel’s Medicine work with your Soul vibration to help you. Place both feet on the ground and your hands on each knee while you meditate on getting grounded.
Your energy is getting more and more coherent and the Earth supports you.

Again, take all the time you want and do what you need to do.

 

Step Eleven:

At this point, you’ll want to make sure you don’t fall into any holes or get sucked back into old, destructive habits.

Fly Medicine will help you deconstruct toxic habits and rabbit holes that have been causing you harm. Imagine them collapsing like old sewer lines.
Then, close down any energy drains so you can recover your strength.

Once the holes are collapsed, ask for the leftover empty space to be filled in with Divine Protection and life affirming energy.

Step Twelve:

Oftentimes, letting go of emotional shock requires a significant change in priorities. There may be certain systems, plans, ideas or habitual patterns that have become destructive and are no longer relevant or constructive. Your understanding of things is likely to go through a shift.

You can use this symbol for Dissolving Destructive Blueprints to help you identify them and dissolve whatever is confusing you.

Actively imagine that any destructive or negative patterns in your mind are like heavy clouds or a jumbled maze of confusion, fears and nightmares.

Once you have the image, send it up to the pure light of the Sun and see the maze dissolve completely.

You’ll know that you’re done when you can see yourself standing in a beautiful open field with clear blue skies all around.

Please note: It’s time to stop sending negative emotions to the Earth, she already has too much to handle now. Use the Earth for planting seeds of happiness and life – not death!

 

Step Thirteen:

Seal and heal any leaks or openings in your energy field. Leaky energy can leave you open to danger or allow harmful energies to attach to you. Open pathways to past suffering can also leave you feeling drained and exhausted.
That includes suffering you’ve merely been a witness to.

As you gaze at Piranha’s Medicine Circle, imagine dangerous leaks, doors and pathways are closing. All holes are sealed and healed.

Make a decision to follow the direction of your Soul’s protection.

 

Step Fourteen:

To complete your healing for emotional shock, take your time with this Soul Prayer Chart that helps you repair and refocus the auric field around you.
Bring your attention back to your body and the space that surrounds it.

Make an intention to repair all rips or tears in your aura and then strengthen it with your Soul Color and Divine Protection for greater confidence and autonomy.

Pulling your energy in close to your body will actually make a difference with symptoms like brain fog, fatigue and emotional volatility.
Continue until you feel protected in your body and safe in your own space.

A Mind Exercise for Grounding In The Truth ~

SOS - RESOLVE Grounding in the Truth

Many people realize how important grounding in the truth is because external power struggles can so easily uproot us from the truth about what’s best for us.

Staying centered requires that you know how to use the power of your mind to control your own energy.

Use this Mind Exercise when you:

  • Are having difficulty getting grounded
  • Feel caught up in a power struggle
  • Are wasting energy on the past
  • Feel trapped by harmful agendas and assumptions
  • Are worrying or fearful about the future
  • Need to access dependable guidance to avoid sabotage.

Here’s how Grounding in the Truth works:

Meditate on each image with it’s affirmations for a minute or two. Notice how you start thinking about your situation differently and re-organize your relationship to the problem. You’ll probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, it simply means the Circles are working to cleanse and balance your energy in accordance with the intention you’ve set for yourself. Stay with it until the energy calms down and then move on to the next step.

Feel free to move at any time in any way to help you embody your experience!

Journaling for Gounding Your Power

Keep in mind that relaxation is key to any healing or awareness process. Follow the suggestions to the best of your ability and be flexible. If you intuitively want to trace over the lines of an image, let yourself do that. Let your imagination play with images or unusual thoughts that come to mind.

There are no mistakes!

Next, prepare to detach from what has fallen apart in the old ‘status quo’…

Once you’re done, your energy will be more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded. A person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone.

Afterwards, take some time to relax and unwind. Movement or gentle stretching can help to release tension and excess energy.


Step One – Authenticity

Begin by establishing a strong intention based on what you need, stated in the positive. You might want to write it down.

Tap into the energy of your Soul with Old Sol. What is the suggestion you get?

Old Soul

Examples: “I maintain my integrity and am true to myself.”
“I reclaim my strength and Soul resources.” 
“I am free to ________________.” etc.

 

Step Two – Divine Protection

Use this Soul Prayer Chart to improve how you’re utilizing life force:

“I connect with beneficial life force to strongly protect and ground me in the truth.”

Imagine all the lines coming together in the center spoke of this Circle until you feel strong, positive energy flowing through you.

Cross and uncross your hands over the midline of your body as many times as you like until the integration feels complete. Feel free to return to Divine Protection at any time during this exercise to help you neutralize heavily polarized energies that may be running through any of your chakras.

Step Three – Resolve

Gaze softly at Stingray Medicine while affirming these thoughts:

“I detach from interference and destructive mindsets.”

“I stop feeding harmful projects, communications and people.”

“I let go of subconscious motivations to tap into other people’s energy or to allow them to tap into mine.”

 

Step Four – Balance

Continue with this Reiki Chakra Key for balancing the Yin and Yang energies at your sacrum. Gently bring your attention to your tailbone using these affirmations:

“I let go of extreme or polarized energies that pull me off track.”

“I tune into the moderate and balanced flow of the Tao.”

 

Step Five – Vitality

If you’re feeling drained or exhausted, tune into the Reiki Chakra Key for your Root Chakra located just to the front of your tailbone. This is your base connection with the Earth and your physical vitality.

“I clear out negativity, violent or abusive energies.”

“I find balance and support for my basic, physiological needs.”

 

Step Six – Empowerment

Your Root Chakra may hold old programming about being a victim or susceptible to abuse or violence. Use this Soul Star to help you clear out any conditioning that’s related to your current issue. 

“I clear out negative, violent or abusive energies.”

“I choose to vibrate with the flow of Life.”

 

Step Seven ~ Self-determination

Turn your attention to the top of your head and bring the polarity there into positive balance. Breathe deeply with the Life Path Chakras and these affirmations:

“I tune into my positive potential.”

“I follow my true life path.”

“I bring ease and flow into my relationship with _________.”

 

Step Eight – Soul Guidance

Connect with your Soul Chakra, located directly above your head. Continue to relax and breathe:

“I connect with the energy, power and gifts of my Soul.”

“I use my soul resources to be aware, objective and ___________.”

“I integrate them to create my Soul’s true purpose.”

“I am present and resonating with my Soul’s unique vibration.”

 

Step Nine – Centering

Bring your awareness to your Heart Chakra and keep breathing:

“I am centered and connected to my core.”

“I open to my inner guidance and am present with it.”

“I have compassion for my needs and well-being.”

“I am protected and my energy is my own.”

Divine ProtectionSpecial note: You may need to go back up to Step Two the integrate your Heart Center with Divine Protection.

 

Step Ten – Compassion

Your Heart or Fourth Chakra is the center of your Being and the focal point for a healthy and adaptable chakra system. Breathe and relax until you sense positive energy radiating out. 

“I release obstructions and heaviness.”

“I choose to emanate Love, Compassion, Gratitude and Joy.”

 

Step Eleven – Divine Protection

This is a good time to return your awareness to the new channels of energy and communication and make sure they’re connecting.

Breathe deeply and imagine the lines going into the Circle are connecting at the center spoke until you feel strong positive energy flowing through you.

Step Twelve – Grounding

Take your time with the Earth Chakra to get grounded and calm.

“I plant my feet firmly on the Earth.”

“I slow down and step carefully.”

“I am present and grounding in the truth.”

“I am partnering with the Earth and aligned with beneficial energies.”

 

Step Thirteen – Position

Use this Soul Prayer Chart to identify what you truthfully need to move forward now from a place of Love. Ask yourself:

“Am I positioned correctly and protected?
Is something blocking me? Am I blocking myself?
Am I in someone else’s way?
Am I using the kind of emotions or energies that will take me where I want to go?”

“Am I being motivated by Love or fear?”

 

Step Fourteen – Truth

Connect with the Source in your Heart Center to empower the changes you need to make:

”I exist and come from a place of Joy and Gratitude.” 

“I have the power to create and maintain healthy boundaries.”

“I  empower my Soul’s true purpose and path.”

“I am empowered to easily let go of what no longer benefits me.” 

 

Step Fifteen – Dissolve Destructive Blueprints

Gracefully release any mental structures, karma or destructive blueprints that don’t belong with you or benefit you anymore. Use this symbol to send them all to the light of the Sun:

“I surrender harmful karma and energy patterns to the sSn.”

Once that’s completed, affirm to yourself:

“I set things right and accept what’s mine so I can ground in the truth and move forward safely and in balance.”

 

Step Sixteen – Completion

Close down any leaks, holes or pathways to suffering that might have come open during this exercise. You can be finished and done with anything that takes you away from your Soul’s true path.

“All doors, holes and completed pathways are healed and sealed.”

“I follow the direction of my Soul’s protection.”

Congratulations! Your energy is more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded now. Remember, a person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone. Be sure to take some time to relax and rest.
