Today, her advice about learning from danger springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of divination that follows the flow of the cosmos. Because of that, her advice and instruction comes from a different perspective than ours.

Learning from Danger

“There are times when none of our efforts to solve a problem have been effective and the way out of DANGER is blocked. Often, all that you may do is wait. Yet, even when that is the case, there are still things that you can do to become more aware of yourself by learning from DANGER

‘Frequent encounters with DANGER are a part of life. Beyond making you inwardly strong, familiarity with DANGER, like the near brush of death, can instill in you a profound awareness of the life force and the mysterious nature of the cosmos. Such heightened awareness can bring new meaning, determination and richness into your life.’ ~The I Ching Workbook, R.L Wing

Generally, the text from Hexagram #29 talks about DANGER that exists in your immediate environment. Responding correctly is really about Right Action – knowing when and how to take action with clarity of mind. Sometimes it’s best to take minimal action or do nothing at all. Awareness and keeping your wits about you are really the keys.”

Learning from Danger – A Transformation Game

This Game uses the Intuitive Learning Circles to help you gain a deeper understanding of the dangers facing you. For example, you may know that something is wrong and not be able to specify the details of what you need to be aware of. This game can help you identify it. Or, you may have awareness of the danger, but not know what to do about it.

Or,  your desires could be leading you into danger time and time again and you’re not learning from it. You can use this game to explore what that’s about and see if there’s something you can do to transcend the habit.

Step One: Access Your Gut Instincts.

Simply relax and gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key to open and balance your Third Chakra located at your Solar Plexus (the soft area in the front where your ribs go up).

In times of danger, it’s not unusual for the chakra system to get knocked out of balance. Let this Chakra Key for Detachment help you clear your energy field of toxins. Relax and mend any energetic wounds that are associated with toxic materials such as smoke, chemicals, heavy energies or viruses. 

Like a healing balm, imagine that a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over you.

Step Two: Balance Your Senses.

When DANGER is present, It’s essential to see things as they really are. See if you can remedy any “blind spots” or confusion by gazing softly at this Reiki Chakra Key for the five senses, together with these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I use them to be present and make sense of my current conditions and environment.”

“They help me to clear blind spots and confusion.”

“I use them to be aware of DANGER and find helpful solutions.”

“I sense things as they are really happening.”

Note: You may want to go back up to the Chakra Key for Detachment to strengthen the clearing action.

 

Step Three: Connect with Your Instinctual Nature.

Tune into your psyche, your instincts and your connection to the natural world. Make a commitment to pay attention to signals from Nature and learn to respect the power of Mother Earth’s energies.

“I connect with my natural instincts, my timing and Soul resources.”

“I pay attention to my environment and allow it to inform me about elements of concern.”

 

Step Four: Slow down.

Danger often comes from being in too much of a hurry and pushing our way through. Sometimes, it’s the opposite – we’re not taking action when we know in our hearts it’s in our best interest to do so!

Gaze softly at the Circle to help you slow down and unwind any confusion around what’s really important. Take several deep breaths. Keep inhaling and exhaling until you’ve relaxed and your mind has slowed down.

“I slow down and allow my priorities to reveal themselves.”

 

Step Five: Uncover Your Awareness of the Danger.

Gaze at this Circle that accesses your intuition and unconscious awareness of a danger you are facing now. Imagine that you can gather up that inner library of experience and see what kind of knowledge comes forward.

Take your time and let the information emerge. Ask yourself:

“What is the real danger about? Is something about to happen? Is there anything or anyone in my environment that is dangerous to me or others? If so, where are they and what affect are they having?”

“How much harm is this situation causing for me and for others?”

Step Six: See it Calmly and With Discernment.

First, let’s make a couple of corrections that will improve your awareness of your situation…

Is any part of you getting caught up in fear or panic? If so, breathe deeply and gaze at this DNA symbol from Kuan Yin. The more relaxed you are, the better these work. Use the positive affirmations to help:

“I let go of turmoil and panic.”

“I can easily access serenity within.”

 

“I cut through the smoke screen that blocks clear perception.”

 

“I easily keep my bearings as I navigate my environment.”

 

“I remove the poison of fear so I can move forward with gratitude and grace.”

 

“I find an opening for my path forward. I am guided by the truth.”

 

Step Seven: Dissolve Destructive Blueprints.

Imagine that the symbol below can help you clear destructive patterns that may be blocking or threatening you. Lift them completely off of you and send them to the Light.

“I dissolve the dangerous imprints of ________ and any connection I have ever had to them. I clear my field of destructive habits and the mental / emotional patterns that cause them. I send them all to the Light.” 

 

Step Eight: Apply Clear Perception to What’s Happening Now.

The DANGER may be upsetting. Don’t get carried away (remember that viruses and other destructive energies feed off of strong emotions). 

Now, breathe with this Circle and let it help you adjust the volume and bring your senses back to a comfortable level. They could have bumped up too high, too loud or intense. If it helps, you can use this affirmation:

“I calm down and get back into balance. I connect with my common sense. I perceive things as they are.”

 

Step Nine: Adapt to the Changes In Your Environment.

This symbol provides an interface and filter to assist us in making the functional transition from the old paradigm of Water (Piscean Age) to the New Paradigm Air (Aquarian Age).

“I close down any harmful energies that I might still be open to.”

“My mind and body is receives generative life force.”

 

Step Ten: Clarify the Right Action(s) to Take.

Use this Circle to help you identify possible solutions that you can honestly take upon yourself without placing yourself in further, unnecessary danger. Explore different scenarios until you find a response that makes sense.

“What is something I could do that would be genuinely helpful to me?”

“Is there something to refrain from that would help me?”

 

“Is there something else I need to learn from danger in this situation?”

 

“Are there other helpful actions I could take?”

Make a note of the suggestions that come. Times of danger can be filled with distractions that make it easy to forget. 

Are you centered and putting out the kind of intention that will bring the results you really want? If not, use this affirmation with the Circle and see if you can change it.

“I put out __________ in alignment with my highest good and __________ is returned to me.”

 

 

Step Eleven: To manage yourself well in dangerous times, be sure that you are grounded and centered in the New Paradigm.

Get your feet on the ground and connect with the positive energy of Mother Earth.

Step Twelve: Close the Doors to Actions that Would Invite Further Danger.

Your unconscious mind knows what’s helpful and what’s harmful to your body, mind and spirit. It’s time to close the door on any harmful pathways that are still open in your mind. See them disappear, as if they were never there.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

How To Trust Your Gut Instinct

This Mind Exercise is about how to trust your gut instinct. Let’s start with the definition of instinct * that I like to use:

How to Trust Your Gut instinct“Instinct is primal and body centered. Its purpose is self-preservation. Instinct tells us that we’re tired, hungry, sad or afraid through a full body response – a feeling, not just a thought. The natural instinct for joy may be suppressed, mistuned and perverted by cultural conditioning.”

To have your own experience with how to trust your gut instinct, choose a situation that you have some resistance towards. When instinct goes out of balance it’s usually about something you fear. Or you could be disoriented by confusing changes in your external world. Once you have that situation, follow the directions for this simple series of Intuitive Learning Circles™. They’ve been put together to help you relax, contemplate the nature of instinct and integrate the information.


How to Trust Your Gut Instincts

Continue following the directions while you gaze softly at each Circle.

Step One: It’s easy to get confused by what other people want or social conditioning. Use this Circle to relax and establish an intention to get in touch with your true, gut instincts. These affirmations can help:

“I relax into myself.  I know who I am.’

“I distinguish my needs from the needs of others.”

“I release any agreement I have to distrust who I truly am.”

“I reject and repel any energies that are not mine.”

 

Step Two: Bring your attention to your heart and solar plexus area and “feel” yourself inside that area.

Here is an affirmation that works well:

“I am inside of me. Everything else is outside of me.”

It will help to imagine you can bring all the energy into focus on the center, open space of each Intuitive Learning Circle™.

 

Step Three: You feel Instinct in your solar plexus area, where your 3rd chakra is located. Use the Circle to let go of any tension in that area. Breathe into it. Let the energy get balanced and open there.

 

Step Four: Without being firmly positioned in the “home base” of your solar plexus, it’s very difficult to trust yourself and access courage. Use this affirmation:

“I am grounded and connected in my solar plexus.”

“I am upright and facing forward.”

 

Step Five: “I have found my courage and determination.”

“I let them strengthen and support me.”

 

Step Six: Now check in with your gut. What does it tell you to do? How might you go about doing so? The answer will be visceral.

Guidance that comes from balanced instinct is direct and action oriented. It’s purpose is for you to be okay, so if you’re getting too elevated and emotional, use the Circle to help you dial it down. Be patient and listen to what your body is communicating to you.

What do you need to do?

Once you get an action statement that feels right, Congratulations! You might want to make a note of it. The critical mind often likes to override the gut instinct with a lot of second-guessing, procrastination and feelings of overwhelm.

Future Pacing

In our hypnotherapy and energy medicine classes, we talk about the importance of future pacing. What is that?

Future pacing is a way to deepen the effects of any mind body healing by projecting a preferred outcome into the future. Let’s use that idea to solidify what you’ve just learned about how to trust your gut instincts.


How to Trust Your Gut InstinctRemember that when instinct is out of balance, it’s easy to get lost. There is a lack of courage and everything is about avoidance – avoiding getting caught, procrastination and avoiding responsibility. In extremes, this gives rise to panic, scapegoating and disassociation. 

I think most people agree that it would be better to get back into balance and go for joy instead!

Use these symbols and positive affirmations from The Essential Human to access the very best qualities to nurture your instinctual promptings.

“I release grumpy, irritable, morose, sarcastic and antisocial behavior. I am now confident and resolute.”

 

“I release all false information. I now perceive clearly by shining light on the truth.”

 

“I release coming from a place of offensiveness or defensiveness. I now come from a place of being open to wisdom.”

 


INTEGRATION

Imagine that you can access your beneficial karma for trusting yourself. Gather all your good deeds in the center, blank area of this Circle.

“I access and utilize my beneficial karma for balanced, instinctual knowing.”

Completion

The mind intuitively appreciates closure. Let’s get grounded as we complete this mind exercise.

Place both feet on the floor and put your hands on your knees if you can. Gaze softly at the Circle and repeat the affirmation until you feel your body has fully settled in the present.

“I am grounded in the present.”

 

Ask yourself:

How will it feel to trust my gut instinct in the future?

What about later today or tomorrow?

A month from now?

How does it feel a year from now?

 

Congratulations!

You can thank yourself for taking the time today to learn how to trust your gut instinct – a gift that will make you feel a lot more empowered!

Bring all the energy of gratitude and appreciation in towards the center!

Finish it all up now by sealing and healing any pathways or holes that lead back to old harmful patterns or suffering.

How to use the Intuitive Learning Circles™ to consult with important books of divination like the I Ching or The Book of Change ~

The I Ching (pronounced ee cheeng) is an ancient book of divination that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Intuitive readings that recognize the Tao encourage us to find our place in the cosmos and harmonize with it.

“To move with the tao (or gate through which all things move) is to be in a state of grace.”

Come into alignment with the Tao – the underlying principles of Nature.

One of the best things about The Book of Change is that it’s uniquely equipped to help you understand the nature of your circumstances in relation to the ebb and flow of nature itself.

This symbol helps your mind tune into information regarding the “Tao” or the natural flow of life, which is what the Book of Change is all about.

It’s easy to do, just relax and gently contemplate coming into alignment with the Tao.

 

This Chart helps you to align with your own destiny and direction within the Tao. Just relax and let it help you “align with your stars”.

However, whenever I consult The Book of Change with the Intuitive Learning Circles™ I get very good results. With them, I am informed about key unconscious movements, concerns and decisions that need to be made within my psyche. For example, I often get forewarnings of unexpected or accidental encounters that I simply could not have been aware of on my own.

A simple sequence of Circles from Gifts from the Rainforest helps you frame a question or intention for an intuitive reading that you wouldn’t be able to formulate without a lot of experience. If you already have a particular question in mind or a choice that you’re considering, use it as a starting point.

This is the formula I use for insight into a variety of issues including health, timing and healing emotional dilemmas:


Come Into Balance with the Book of Change

Make sure the chakras for your senses are connected, balanced and clear.

 

Mind Body IntegrationContinue enhancing intuition by calming your senses and bringing them into balance. Some may be turned up too high and some may be too low. Relax and allow your eyes to rest gently on the Circle below.

Take some deep breaths and let your shoulders drop. Adjust the volume to your senses. Do that both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body to achieve greater mind body integration.

The chakra at your sacrum (sacred bone) is an access point for tapping into the flow of the Tao. Take a minute to make sure it’s connected and balanced as well.

Activate Intuition

Begin by slowing down, so that you can get in better touch with the best intention for your reading. Gaze softly at this Intuitive Learning Circle™ for slowing down with an affirmation like:

“I slow down and bring my attention in, towards what’s truly important at this time.” 

 

While gazing softly at this next Circle, sort through your mind like you would sort through a pile of messy papers on your desk when you’re looking for something. You come across a really important piece of paper (or several) that you didn’t know was there. Use the Circle to help you find it and pull it out.

Clarify Intention

Move your attention to this next Circle and ask your gut:

“What do I need clarity about?”

Be patient and wait for information or an intention to emerge. Whatever comes up, make a note of it. Unconscious information often doesn’t make sense at first. Usually, it’s a general subject, possibly one that isn’t currently on your radar. Go with it and refrain from trying to force things or second guess yourself.

Continue your investigation. What concerns you about this issue?

Hopefully, by now more details are emerging from the unconscious mind and you’re more aware of them. If you sense an important Soul issue, go to a Circle from Soul Prayer Charts to help you know what it is. Pick #1-24.

Determine the Emotional Environment

Is there a particular emotion(s) that’s causing distress?

Are you holding that emotion towards yourself? Towards others or others to self?

Is there a decision about yourself that you need to change?

Is there an attitude, compulsion, obsession, or phobia that needs to be healed?

Choose An I Ching Hexagram

The symbol below is from SOS Soul Oriented Solutions and can be used to go through any list of possible choices where you want your Soul to help you find the opening to a solution and determine what process will help you the best. All you need to be is open and ask for true assistance. It’s especially good at helping you make a choice, fine tune your intuition and listen to your gut feelings.

In the case of the Book of Change, there are sixty-four hexagrams that might have useful information for you. So gaze at the SOS symbol and experiment with it. Remember that in this case, you’re looking for information or advice that will help you deal with the situation you just came up with.

What number between 1 – 64 comes to you first? Follow your inner guidance. If your mind is blocked or blank go here>

SOS - Soul Oriented Solutions

Whatever number comes to you, open your Book of Change and go to that Hexagram. You might need to read the whole commentary or just a portion of it. There are also what is called “changing lines” and you might be guided to read one of those. It could even be just one sentence!

Once you’ve read the advice, you may understand the message immediately or you might want to continue to get an even more detailed understanding.

Synchronicity

For example, perhaps you’d like more information about timing or how to synchronize your response in the most effective way.

 

This symbol is about timing and synchronization. Let your mind gently contemplate the symbol. Remember, no forcing! The more relaxed you are, the better this works.

 

 

 

The whole point of consulting the I Ching is to help you see your situation clearly so that you’re able to make an effective plan for handling it. As you look at the Circle below, ask yourself: “In this situation, what is the best timing for effective action?”

or “How long will this period of time go on?”

 

“Is there any danger present now?”

“If so, will it pass on it’s own or should I do something?”

 

“What can I do specifically to help myself?”

“Is there a number in the I Ching that can help me with that?”

If a hexagram number between 1-64 comes to you, go to that hexagram and do what you did earlier – read the portions that come up as important. If a number doesn’t come up, continue on with the question below.

 

“What do I need to do now?”

and “How might I go about doing it?”

You may get a clear answer through the Circle itself or you could be given another hexagram number and/or changing line. It may be the same or it may be different. Keep following this line of questioning until you feel satisfied with your answers. Write them down so you don’t forget.

Once you’re finished with your reading from the Book of Change, be sure to thank your unconscious mind and yourself for making the time to take care of yourself.

This Mind Exercise* is about how to be more intuitive. Let’s start with the definition of intuition that I like to use:

“Intuition is an inner knowing available to us when all of the senses, known and unknown are balanced and able to receive information that is usually filtered out by the conscious mind.”

To have your own experience with how to be more intuitive, let’s go through this simple series of Intuitive Learning Circles. They’ve been put together to help you relax, contemplate the nature of intuition and integrate the information.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationThe brain and body communicate through different channels when a part of you is crossed over the center of your body. If you feel resistant or stuck, cross or uncross a hand or foot over the midline of your body and go back to the Circle, breathing patiently. See if your thinking starts to move again. Let negative self-talk go by breathing through it.


Simply read the instructions and then follow through on the directions while you gaze softly at each Circle.

Step One: Slow down. Stop being in such a hurry.

It will help to imagine you can bring all the energy into focus at the center, open space of each Intuitive Learning Circle.

 

Step Two: With so much going on, it’s easy to be distracted and confused by everything that’s going on around you. Your senses may have gotten knocked out of balance and that can have a negative effect on balanced intuition.

Gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key and take a minute or two to help you get your bearings again. Notice your surroundings, the time, remember how old you are, etc.

 

Step Three: You may also be having a difficult time adjusting to all the significant environmental changes that are taking place. Sudden reversals, blockages and changes in momentum can cause the subtle energy fields to react in unusual ways.

As you look at this Key, do you notice any rough glitches or reversed energies going on? Relax with it for a few minutes until things smooth out. You can repair any jagged or disjointed glitches in your sensory system.

 

Step Four: Clear Intuition is a balance between all of the senses. You can consciously balance your senses to enhance intuition and receive clear inner guidance.
Use this Circle to let your senses get balanced. Some may be turned up too high and some too low. You can adjust them like a radio dial until it feels just right.

Once you’ve done that, bring the energy in toward the center again.

 

Step Five: Clear intuition is an internal communication. Focus in on your heart center and let the energy get balanced and open there.

It may take a minute or two to connect with the Light of your True Source. Take all the time that you need.

 

Step Six: Make sure you’re centered and balanced in your solar plexus as well (your solar plexus is that soft area in the front where your ribs go up).

The correction is made when you can palpably feel a greater sense of calm and peace in that area.

 

Step Seven: In this quiet and more centered place, ask a simple question that you want guidance about. Listen for the answer.

What is your inner guidance?

Intuition is simple and straightforward, so if you’re getting a big convoluted answer, that probably isn’t intuition. Be patient and go through the exercise again.

Once you get a heartfelt answer, congratulations! You have accessed your intuition! You might want to make a note of what you came up with. The critical mind often doesn’t like to remember the quieter, gentler voice of intuition.

Intuitive Guidance Using the Loyalty and Clear Perception of Dog Medicine:

Clear Perception - Dog MedicineYour gut instinct is an awesome inner guidance system and has access to all kinds of information that you’re not consciously aware of. The only trick is that you need to be paying attention! 

Luckily, you can learn to use Dog Medicine with this Mind Exercise to hone your intuitive abilities and develop clear perception about where you’re heading.

First, a word about environmental changes and getting a grasp on the larger picture…

Most people know on the unconscious level that a shift has occurred. However, the conscious mind may still be acting as if everything’s still the same.

In order to ADAPT, it’s very helpful for our minds to have signs and maps to assist us as we navigate the new terrain. That is the reason and purpose for all the symbols and Intuitive Learning Circles on this site.

For example, If you meditate on the “map” available in this image, your mind can get a better grasp on what it can organize around in the New Paradigm we’ve entered.

If You Would Like To Develop More Clear Perception On Your Journey You’ll Need to Know If You’re Heading in the Wrong Direction ~

There are several reasons why you might be unconsciously heading in the wrong direction.

1. One possibility could be that your energy is having a difficult time adjusting to all the significant environmental changes that are taking place. Sudden reversals, blockages and changes in momentum can cause our subtle energy fields to react in unusual ways.

As you look at this first Circle, do you notice any rough glitches or reversed energies going on? Relax with it for a few minutes until things smooth out.

2. Your timing could be off, causing you to jump ahead before it’s a good idea to do so.

Most peoples circumstances are unstable at best and treacherous at worst.

It’s good to get your radar up and prepared for sudden dangers that are so prominent in times of DECLINE. Ask yourself:

“Is there a situation where I’m jumping to a conclusion before it’s a good idea to make any moves?”

If your answer is “yes,” it would be wise to stop and reconsider. Retrace your steps and see where the error is. If you take each step one at a time, you can avoid a great deal of trouble!

3. Your senses may have gotten all knocked out of balance. 

With so much going on, its easy to be distracted and confused by all the intense input that’s going on around you.

Fortunately, dog energy works incredibly well to help you with your inner guidance system – warning you to slow down and get your feet back under you.

Gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key and take a minute or two to consciously gather up all your senses for greater awareness. 

4. Your intuition could be out of balance too.

Don’t let fantasy over-ride clear perception either. Sometimes we get too emotional and out of balance. That’s when we spend our time in the watery depths, fantasizing about how we want things to be or wish they were, rather than acknowledging how they actually are.

Certainly, we’ve all had wishful thinking about that perfect lover or fears about the next worst case scenario. That’s natural. Yet, it’s important to be able to pull back into the here and now and not get too carried away.

You can rectify that for yourself by bringing your senses into balance so that you can perceive things more clearly. Imagine you can adjust the volume for seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling! Breathe in and take all the time you need.

You don’t want to miss some important information or an opportunity that you need to take advantage of. Dog medicine is here to tell you that something really important is happening right now and you need to be paying attention!

5. Finally, something could be draining your energy.

Do you sense that something like that could be happening?

 

Before you plunge into the great unknown, take a few minutes to go through this grounding exercise, Develop Clear Perception, where you can make friends with dog energy and get all kinds of insight and guidance. 

Get Your Feet Firmly Planted On the Ground

Relax and gaze softly at the center open space of this Circle while you go through a few positive affirmations. If there’s a question, just be open to your gut response.

“I slow down because things may be moving too fast for me to sense the truth. “

“I’m willing to admit I don’t know what’s going on. Asking for help is a blessing.”

“Is my inner guidance sending me a warning?”

“Do I need to let go of something? Change something?”

“Do my instincts want to redirect my attention to a solution or something else?”

“In either case, am I willing to listen and learn?”

You may be surprised at the answers that are coming to you. If it didn’t work, relax! You can go back and do it again. Journaling is often a help.

Be sure to check the directions again and follow them if you’re not sure.

 

Use this next Circle the same way with this affirmation:

“I allow clear perception to heighten my instincts and intuition.”

Then ask:

“Am I willing to trust in the power of not knowing?”

“Is the ‘vibe’ around me helpful or harmful?”

Very interesting, isn’t it? We instinctively know when the “vibe” is right or wrong, but we often don’t appreciate the messages we get. We doubt and second-guess ourselves or we might willfully ignore our inner guidance system and try to force our way through.

Look at the Circle again and ask, “Am I heading in the direction of my best interests?”

“Am I making decisions that are in my best interests?”

“Am I taking actions that are helpful, harmful or simply ineffective?”

If you’re not clear yet, keep going with the exercise. You may need a few more easy corrections before the truth emerges.

Clear Perception and Being Present

Clear Perception - Gut Instinct

Often, how well we listen to our inner guidance is affected by how present we are in our bodies. It’s called gut instinct because when we’re really present, we can feel it in our solar plexus (the soft area in the front where our ribs go up).

You can use the Circle below with its positive affirmations to help you become more present and aware. Just relax and breathe while you gently look at it for a couple of minutes. Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience…

“I detach from blockages and harmful energy.”

“I am present, upright and facing forward. I am willing to hear the truth.”

Once you’ve finished centering yourself, hopefully, you’re feeling much better!

Use Dog Medicine to Handle Your Agreements Appropriately:

Another reason why we might not perceive clearly is because there’s some kind of problem with an agreement or commitment we’ve entered into on some level. In this busy, modern life, people tend to take their agreements too lightly and don’t realize how important their word is.

Perhaps paying attention to what we say seems like too much effort or too complicated. Yet, if you really want to be be loyal to yourself, being clear about your word and your agreements is super important. Especially agreements that you’ve made with yourself!

Here’s some tips about how to handle agreements successfully:

  1. You can keep your agreements and stay in integrity with your word.
  2. You can release agreements when they’re complete or no longer serve you.
  3. Or, you can consciously re-negotiate them when they need to be changed.

By the way, it’s also a good idea to pay attention if someone hasn’t been keeping their agreements with you. If that’s happening, it’s best to deal with the indiscretion asap. When we allow someone to break their word with us and then say or do nothing about it, we lose our own integrity by being disloyal to ourselves.

Stay Calm and Take a Few Deep Breaths:

It’s okay. Our situations are changing at a rapid pace and so are our priorities. To help you identify problem agreements, use this Circle to help you slow down again. Focus on yourself and your current goals.

“I bring my senses back into balance. 

I see myself and my goals as they really are in the present.”

 

Once you can perceive clearly, you may ask yourself:

“Have I been trying to keep agreements that are harmful to me? Is it time to renegotiate a pertinent agreement? or Am I ignoring an important agreement that I need to follow through on?”

If so, can you tell what those agreements are about? Take all the time you need with this… what insights do you get?

If you ignore them, they may turn around and bite you!

Use this Soul Contract Circle to imagine that any harmful agreements you may have are like contracts that can be melted down to adjust for what’s needed or burned up entirely. Use the Circle to visualize all harmful contracts interacting with a sacred, violet flame. Here’s some affirmations to assist you if you like:

“I release all agreements that no longer serve me.”

“I let go of ___________.   I reframe ____________.  I stop ____________.”

Possible new agreements could be:

“I am loyal and true to my Self. My needs are a priority.”

“I have faith. I listen to my instincts and take good care of my Self.”

“I ________________________________.”

Use Dog Medicine to Help You Sniff Out the Truth:

To complete the correction in your perception, it’s important to realize where your attention has really been. Use the Circle below like you did with the others and see if you can determine what you’ve been focusing on consciously or unconsciously that isn’t in your best interests.

“What have I been paying too much attention to?”

“What action(s) do I need to take to truthfully correct the situation?”

Pull yourself back out of any fantasies, delusions or unconscious fears.

It’s very important that you be present, paying attention to your own actions and using your beneficial karma to create your own priorities.

Energy Medicine for the New Paradigm

 

Imagine those beneficial actions you’ve taken in the past are all gathered like seeds in the center of this Circle. Visualize positive life force traveling down the lines towards your helpful karma, nourishing them and encouraging them to grow!

 

Now it’s time to redirect your attention to helpful people, opportunities and places. For additional help, ask these questions:

“What is my priority at this time?”

“What is my natural place in this situation – where do I belong?”

“Am I operating in the New Paradigm based on equality, co-operation and sustainable prosperity or the old paradigm based on fear and greed?”

 

Finally! It’s time to close the door on all those misuses of your time, attention and energies.

“I close the door on any drain or strain on my time, space, attention or energy.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

“I trust the wisdom of dog medicine.”

 

Before you move on, let this symbol help you close down any harmful energy channels from the old paradigm and tap into the generative energy flow of the New Paradigm instead.

“I close down all harmful energy channels.”

 “My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”

Know When Someone Is Lying

It seems like lying, misinformation and half-truths are everywhere. How can you know when someone is lying to you and when they’re telling the truth?

Did you know that you instinctually know when someone is lying to you?

Your gut instinct is a very good lie detector – as long as you’re present and paying attention! It’s just that for some reason, the information is being blocked from your conscious awareness and you can’t see the signs.

Some lies are obvious, yet in today’s social and political landscape, lies can get lost in the sheer overload of information and misconceptions. Group think. Betrayal. Herd mentality. It’s like a huge web that casts its shadow over the land and curses everyone!

In this exercise we’re going to unravel several reasons why you might not know when someone is lying to you.

Play Our Free Online Mind Exercise to Hone Your Gut Instinct and Develop Your Intuition

One of the biggest problems is shock. Unfortunately, unresolved shock can take up a lot of mental bandwidth and keep us from being able to discern properly. It can actually make us numb to all the lies that are bombarding us from every direction. That’s why we’re going to start by clearing out any shock that might block your ability to sense misinformation, half-truths or know when someone is looking to cheat you outright. Take several deep breaths and relax while you look at this Circle that helps you release shock and inner conflict.

Imagine you can use it to focus in on a dark web within your mind that’s preoccupying you at the moment. 

What are you concerned about?

You may get a conscious image or message, or you may not.

If your mind is blank or frozen, focus on how “blank” or “frozen” it is, then relax into it with your body.

Once you have a sense that your mind has found the blockage, imagine that you can melt it, like a big iceberg floating out in the ocean. Just melting away in the Sun. 

Allow your iceberg to melt away – until it’s completely gone.

Check for other webs or dark thoughts that you can do the same with.


Mind Body IntegrationIt helps to  gaze softly at each Circle both crossed and uncrossed over the midline of your body for full integration.

Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to continue with the main exercise…

Know When Someone is Lying to You

You may have a “blind spot.” For some reason, you’ve been conditioned to ignore certain things or not see things coming. You may be able to remedy some of that by gazing softly at this Reiki Chakra Key, together with these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance all of my senses.”

“I use them to be present and alert.”

“I use them to sense what will keep me safe, productive and well.”

“I can clearly sense what will help me to _______________.”

 

Your thought process may have been thrown for a loop or you could be in a state of confusion due to so much information and so many changes going on around you. Excess emotional stress can cause problems with switching, which is where your body and mind have gotten out of sync with each other.

In that situation, a part of the mind gets confused about which direction is which and is unable to communicate properly to the rest of you, including your body. Other terms for this might be dyslexia or the “twisties”.

Use this Circle to help you get your bearings again. It helps to use affirmations like:

“I am positioned correctly inside my body.”

“Right is to the right of me. Left is to the left of me.”

“Up is above me and down is below me.”

“I am inside of me. Others are outside of me.”

 

Another possibility is that you’re being distracted. Distractions are a liar’s best friend, because if you’re not paying attention, liars can get away with all kinds of things. 

To see if this is happening with you, experiment with this Circle that helps you focus your attention. If you follow the directions, you can get useful answers that could really help you out.

All you have to do is relax and gaze softly at the center open space of this Circle while you ask yourself some simple “yes” or “no” questions. Be sure to be receptive and listen for the answer that comes.

“Am I being lied to?

Is this a deliberate all- out lie or is there a misunderstanding going on?

Are half-truths involved? Betrayal?

If so, do I know who’s involved?

Male or female? More than one person? 

Is this group-think or propaganda?

Could it involve an idea or project I’m working with?”

Sometimes we sabotage ourselves with negative self-talk or false inner guidance. This Circle can help you be more aware of it.

Is something I tell myself based on a lie?”

“Am I listening to some false guidance?”

“Am repeating something I heard from somewhere else?”

“Do I have a blind spot here?”

“In this situation, what is the truth about me?”

You may be surprised at the answers that came to you. If it didn’t work, you can go back and do it again. Repetition builds confidence!

If the answer you get is “no, I’m not being lied to,” count yourself lucky, you’re a very fortunate person! If the answer is “yes” or “maybe”, you might want to continue with the following extra-intuitive activities to see what’s going on and get some emotional healing around the issue.

Extra Intuitive Activities

We might block information about a lie because we don’t want to believe it!

Of course, this is understandable, yet the lies or misconceptions could really be doing some damage. 

It doesn’t do any good to pretend that something isn’t a problem when it actually is. When we try to deny the truth, we’re actually sabotaging our own best intentions.

The good news is, if you know when someone is lying or giving you incorrect information, you have an opportunity to save yourself from a tremendous amount of damage. 

Use this Circle to gently ask yourself:

“Am I willing to know when someone isn’t telling the truth?”

“In this situation, am I blocking myself from the truth?”

 

Use this next Circle the same way and ask:

“Am I willing to know what the lie is?”

“In this case, is it helpful for me to know what the lie is?”

“If I’m not willing, am I open to the possibility?”

Very interesting, isn’t it? We instinctively know when someone is lying, but we often don’t want to know. Look at the Circle again and ask: “Is there a part of me that’s being left in the dark?”

“How much damage has been done?”

“About how long has this been going on?”

“Do I want to shift my perspective and see things as they really are?”

If you’re not clear what the lie is yet, keep going with the exercise. You may need a few more corrections before the truth emerges.

Having courage to face the truth is one of the most important things we can develop in ourselves. A mind without courage cannot expand and learn new ways of being.

Use this Circle to help you remember a time when you had the courage to face the truth and do what needed to be done. Once you find that experience, relax and let your body remember what it feels like.

“I have the courage, the resources and the capacity to face the truth.”

 

 

When you’re under the influence of a lie, it’s useful to release your agreement to fall under its spell. Use this Soul Contract Circle to imagine that the lie (or lies) are like contracts that you can burn. Use the Circle to visualize all those contracts burning up into ashes. Let these affirmations assist you if you like:

“I release all agreements to be used, intimidated, entrapped or ______.”

“I let go of the lies from _________ and the lies about _________.”

I discard any tendencies to be careless, foolish, misguided or cheated.”

“I make a decision to take good care of myself. I protect myself against lies,  deception and betrayal. My Soul knows what’s best for me to do.”

 

Sometimes it’s really important to face the truth and understand what’s required of us to change. Use the Circle below like you did with the others and give yourself a chance to reorganize your awareness.

“I let go of wishful thinking. I turn down the volume so I can listen, sense and follow my instincts. I naturally know what to do.”

Make notes of what you think would be helpful to you. “When it comes to __________, it would help to __________ and  ___________.” 

 

We often overlook, ignore or forget the details and other alternatives available to us. Use the center, open area of this Circle to help you focus in on the details of your situation.

“Is there some other detail that I need to be more aware of?”

“Are there other options or choices I could make?”

Stay with it and wait patiently for new information to make its way to you.

 

Meditate on the DNA symbol with this affirmation. Relax into it with your mind, body and Soul.

“I find an opening for the truth. The path is clear.”

 

Once you can sense that opened path, ask yourself this important question:

“What is the best, most joyful thing for me to do in this situation?”

 

Empower your ability to follow through with what is best for you.

“I am empowered to connect with my highest guidance and to follow through with my highest good in mind.” 

 

Congratulations! You now know when someone is lying to you – and when you listen to your gut, you know what to do!

You’ve just given yourself an amazing gift that’s going to save you a lot of trouble in the long run. Be sure to close the door on old emotional channels of misinformation and pain.

Grounding in the Truth and Your Power

A Mind Exercise for Grounding In The Truth ~

Grounding in the TruthMany people realize how important grounding in the truth is because external power struggles can so easily uproot us from the truth about what’s best for us.

Staying centered requires that you know how to use the power of your mind to control your own energy.

To find out if this Five Step Mind Exercise from RESOLVE can help you, gaze for at the symbol in this picture for a moment and ask:

  •  Are you having difficulty getting and staying grounded?
  •  Do you feel caught up in a power struggle?
  •  Do you need to disconnect from a meddling or intrusive person?
  •  Are you feeling trapped by other peoples agendas?
  •  Have you been wasting energy on the past?
  •  Are you worrying or fearful about the future?
  •  Is it hard to think straight or get dependable guidance?

Here’s how Grounding in the Truth works:

Put both feet flat on the floor and start with your arms and legs uncrossed. Simply gaze softly at the images while you repeat the affirmations that go with them for several minutes. Relax and breathe. Here’s an example:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I use them to be present and aware so that I can actualize my Souls purpose.”

“I use them to help me protect myself and resolve my concerns appropriately.”

“I am aware of what’s most important.”

You will probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, that means the Circles are working to focus your mind and clean up your energy. You will know you’re done when the energy calms down and you can think clearly. Then you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process. Once you’re done, remember to relax and allow your energy to settle.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body Integration For best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

Feel free to move at anytime in any way to help you embody your experience!


Step One: Begin by establishing a strong intention stated in the positive.

You might want to write it down. Examples:

“I maintain my integrity and am true to myself.”

“I gather my resources to be successful in my current endeavors.”

“I disengage from this power struggle, ” etc.

Step Two – Resolve

Gaze softly at the Circle while affirming these thoughts:

“I detach from petty assumptions, ego concerns and things that don’t matter.”

“I disconnect from unproductive projects and inappropriate people.”

“I resolve to use my power wisely for what’s genuinely good for me.”

“I release all subconscious agreements to tap into other people’s energy or to allow them to tap into mine.”

 

Step Three ~ Self-determination

Connect to this Circle through your breath, then continue with these affirmations:

“I reclaim all of my energy, power and gifts.”

“I use them to be present and alert.”

“I use them to create my Souls purpose.”

 

Step Four – Centering

Bring your awareness to your heart center and keep breathing:

“I am centered and my heart is strong.”

“I let go of _________, anxiousness, pain, sorrow, etc.”

“I know how to nourish myself appropriately.”

“I maintain healthy boundaries. My life is my own.”

 

Step Five- Grounding

Take all the time you need with this Circle until you feel stable and calm.

“My feet are firmly planted on the Earth.”

“I slow down and step carefully.”

“I am connected with and grounded in the truth.”

“I am ___________________________.”

Your energy is more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded now. Remember, a person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone. Be sure to take some time to relax and rest.

Welcome to the I Ching Reading and Transformation Game for:

Hexagram # 17 – ADAPTING by Simplifying Your Life

Simplify Your Life - A Transformation Game

“Simplicity is the path of inner direction and self worth. Examine your goals and the standards you have set for yourself. If they are unworthy, inefficient or nonexistent, it will be difficult to make significant progress in a productive direction. ADAPTING your mindset and how you’re using your energy is the appropriate response at this time. Use your inner wisdom to adjust to the realities of your new environment. See things through the lens of common sense and inner guidance. Dispense with ungrounded over-indulgences in whatever form they take.

To clear away complications and wasted effort, it may be necessary for you to refocus and look at your situation from a more objective perspective. As you do so, remember the strength and power that lives within you. By ADAPTING to your new awareness and simplifying your life, you will find many unexpected rewards.”

This Game is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles, pertinent questions and positive affirmations that will:

    • give you a new perspective
    • activate your heart wisdom and
    • help you ADAPT to a simpler mindset by clearing up mental and emotional clutter.

Some questions to consider as you play Simplify Your Life are:

“Am I making things more complicated than they need to be?”

“Am I wasting my time and energy chasing after too many things?” or

“How can I focus on the aspects of my life that are most important at this time and prioritize my actions?”

If you choose one of these questions to contemplate for a few minutes and then go through the game, you’ll be able to shift your attitude and refocus your mind very quickly.

The pressures of life seem to increase everyday so we need to find guidance that comes from a reliable source. Go through the sequence anytime you feel scattered or overwhelmed. By going within and allowing your Inner Guidance to show you the way, you can simplify your life, make productive decisions and move forward with greater self confidence while you let the chaos take a back seat.”

How to Play Simplify Your Life:

Simply look at the sequence of Circles below while you ponder the questions or positive affirmations that go with them.

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.


Take a few breaths and relax. Use a soft focus to help you go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol with a soft, relaxed gaze. Repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from scattered to focused  –  from complexity to simplicity – from distractions to priorities.”

 

2. While looking at this Circle, think about the different activities you are engaged in. Ask yourself:

“Am I putting too much pressure on myself?”

“Am I spreading myself too thin?”

“Have I been seeing this situation honestly?”

 

3. Notice if the whole situation makes you feel anxious or uneasy. Breathe a few times and allow this Circle to help you to calm down and see more clearly.

 

4. Use this Circle from Reiki Chakra Keys to open and balance your third eye chakra. You can do this by focusing your attention on the Circle while you relax and breathe for a few moments. Use these positive affirmations to help:

“I open my intuition and common sense to become aware of what I truly need.” 

 

5. Use this symbol to ask for help from your Soul to simplify your life and balance your priorities. Once you’ve made a sincere request, be patient and listen for guidance.

“I need to _______________.”

5. Now that you’ve cleared up some of your misperceptions, you can use these next Circles to help you separate fact from fiction. Start by asking yourself:

“What percentage of the work that I’m doing is actually benefitting me?”

“Are there any activities or assumptions I’m making that are actually a waste of my time and pulling me off track?”

If so, can you name what they are?

Does it seem as though you’re just circling around and around without getting what’s really important done? Are you being as direct and efficient as you could be?

Describe what your experience has been like.

 

“Is there clutter I could clear up that would help me get back on track?” 

Make sure it’s your clutter! If it belongs to someone else, use the Circle to visualize sweeping it all up and sending it back to wherever it belongs. 

 

“Am I wasting energy and time due to lack of focus?”

“Is there some other issue that I need to be aware of?”

 

6. Relax for a minute and tune into your solar plexus area. Let the energy get balanced in your 3rd chakra.

 

Is there something about the situation that reminds you of the way your family sometimes behaves? How about someone else that you know? If so, are you willing to let it go? Gently visualize letting that energy go to the Sun and disappearing.

 

 

7. Relax with this image for a minute or two.

“I am willing and able to let go of complications and simplify my life.”

 

8. Take your time and use this Circle to clear confusion or complexities out of your mind. You may see them as a million details, numbers, calculations or just a bunch of heavy smoke.

“I clear away the smoke screen so I can see what would actually help me.”

 

9. As you gaze softly at this symbol from Divine Nature Activated, imagine that you can clear up the communication lines between your mind and your body.

    • If communication lines seem tangled up, see them going to the Sun and disappearing. 
    • If communication seems outdated, see your internal system upgrading.
    • If you seem disconnected, imagine your communication lines straightening out and connecting properly within yourself and the outside world.

(You’ll want  to do this while you’re both crossed and uncrossed over the mid-line of your body).

 

 

10. Once you’re perceiving things more clearly, ask a few more questions:

“What am I struggling with and am I willing to let it go?”

If you are willing, go ahead and send it to the Sun as you did with the others.

If you’re not willing to let it go, at least you now know what’s really going on.

 

11. Now that you’ve gone through the Simplify Your Life Game, see if you can use this Circle to give voice to what’s really important.

“I  access my true voice and can express what I truly need. I need to _______________.”

 

Place your intention in the middle of this Circle and consciously send your energy towards it for improved manifesting. Just like aiming at a bull’s eye!

 

 

11. Help yourself to move forward in the right direction by using this Circle to seal and heal all the holes that have been draining your energy.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

12. Finish the game by making sure the protection of your aura is all sealed and healed – a finishing step that will help your health and focus even more!

Congratulations!

Thank yourself for taking the time today to clarify between things that are helpful and those that aren’t. You’ve given voice to what’s important right now and as a result, saved yourself a lot of time and trouble. Not only that, you’ve let go of some epigenetic patterning that’s been cluttering up the situation. This is a positive step in the right direction!

Bring the energy of gratitude in towards the center and let it connect with your heart.

“I am empowered to simplify my life. I am ready, willing and able to follow through on my true priorities.”
