Finding Moderation in the New Paradigm
I Ching Energy Update
Navigate Change by Following the I Ching Energy Flow ~
The I Ching
The original intent of the I Ching was based on an Eastern philosophy of observation and marking changes in natural and human events. Through many centuries and contributions from shamans and master teachers, including Lau Tzu and Confucius, the Book of Change was developed into a full philosophy for applying beneficial human conduct to varying circumstances. The Art of Feng Shui is part of that philosophy. ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing, Random House, NYC, NY, 1979Following the Tao or “gate through which all things move”~
Each of the 64 Hexagrams has a distinct flow that you can come into sync with and use to your benefit. Right now there’s what Kuan Yin calls a Multiple Highway pattern. Whenever a Multiple Highway pattern is happening, instability is exaggerated. The best way for an individual to find balance in that kind of dynamic is to do their best to change with the changes and follow the flow of Hexagram #15 MODERATION or “the Middle Road.”
Advice from The I Ching ~
Get Unstuck from #12 STAGNATION –
The I Ching Energy has been stuck in STAGNATION for so long now, you may really be having some trouble getting unstuck.
Perhaps you’ve been involved in a karmic entanglement with other people or groups where you’re stuck because you’re taking on some part of their problem as if it were your own.
You can help yourself and others by gently stepping out of codependent or dysfunctional patterns. In cases like these, it’s not what you’re doing, it’s how you’re trying to go about it. New channels of communication and awareness can help you sort out difficult problems that involve blame and responsibility. Play Whose Problem Is It for help and a new perspective from your Soul.

#12 STAGNATION –
“The lines of communication are down. Because of this there is no understanding of what is needed, and growth cannot continue…
… STAGNATION produces an ambiance of decay and decadence. Inferior persons and ideas can rise to positions of great influence… The people become lost in a labyrinth of discordant purpose and are filled with mistrust. Things come to a standstill and people, therefore, cannot be helped.
For Level III Memberships Only: To help yourself pull out of the swamp of arbitrary and absurd misunderstandings, Cut Though Stagnation.

#28 DANGER –
The move out of STAGNATION, DANGER and CONFLICT has become such a problem that you may need special help to balance yourself out before you can take good advantage of the fortunate flow of MODERATION.
The text warns, “The situation is one of real DANGER, caused by and manifested in the affairs of man. This DANGER is not inspired by overwhelming tendencies within the cosmos, or by conflicts in your innermost attitudes. The real DANGER that confronts you is brought about by your immediate environment. It will take skill to overcome the difficulties, but managed properly, this time of challenge can bring out the very best in you.” Ibid.

#6 CONFLICT –
Most people are aware that a major shift has occurred. However, parts of your mind may be operating in a state of extreme conflict and need to be updated. Calming down and getting your feet back under you is the safest way to handle the sudden changes that are occurring.
In order to manage change effectively, it helps to have signs and maps to assist us as we update our minds to navigate through the new terrain.
Call on your inner protector and Develop Clear Perception.

#15 MODERATION –
To clarify, each of the 64 Hexagrams has a distinct flow that you can come into sync with and use to your benefit.
When you don’t see any benefit in following a particular highway like the ones above, the flow for MODERATION is always available, it just takes effort and experience to stay in balance with it.
To help us, Kuan Yin has a Transformation Game called “Finding MODERATION in the New Paradigm” that’s always been a big help to me.
“Do not indulge in extremes of any sort, and instead strive for MODERATION in all that you do… In this way you use the balancing tendency of the current forces to center yourself. This inner equilibrium aligns you with the tao, thus bringing you into harmony with forces that can work for you…” ~ MODERATION, The I Ching Workbook, ibid.
A Power Circle for MODERATION is available for Level Two and Three Members of the Intuitive Learning Circle Community.
