You might have lost a relative, a job or an important friendship. You could be facing a health challenge or even a loss in your purpose and sense of self.

Or, you may be standing on the sidelines, watching the world you love suffer while you feel at a loss for something helpful to do.

What are some ways to provide self-care for loss and bring some level of emotional and spiritual relief?

In situations like these, it can take a while to regain your balanced and get back up on your feet. SOS SymbolHowever, if you can find a way to tune into your deepest resources, you’ll discover that you’re never completely alone, even in your darkest hours.

To help out, this self-care formula offers hope, positive affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles that you can use at any time, day or night, whenever you are:

  • Asking for help in a difficult or complicated situation
  • Stressed over a lost job or income
  • Grieving a loss of any kind
  • Feeling pulled into a negative state of mind
  • Recovering from an abusive experience – past or present

Use this self-care formula as a re-assuring reminder that Love is forever present. Simply read the message and then meditate on each Circle with a soft gaze in the order given for one or two minutes. Open Your Heart Center.

Continue to prepare for Self-care for Loss by meditating on this Reiki Chakra Key to bring increased life force and balance into your heart center. It helps to place your right hand over the center of your chest while you gaze at the symbol.  Here’s a a couple of suggested affirmations:

“I understand and have compassion for the suffering of myself and others.”

“I find peace and balanced prosperity in my heart. I choose life.”

Strong emotions or insights may come up. The image may seem to move, rotate, vibrate or change color. Don’t worry. That happens sometimes. It just means it’s working to help you feel better. Once the energy calms down a bit, you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to continue the process.

Let your senses get balanced.

Gaze softly at the Reiki Chakra Key for your senses while you contemplate these positive affirmations for a minute or so. Relax and breathe:

“I bring my senses into balance.”

“I focus them to help me be calmer, more present and aware of what’s important.”

“I use my senses to know who I am and what I’m doing.”

“I focus on thoughts and actions that are genuinely helpful and productive.”

 

Your heartfelt intention is important and needs to be communicated.

The Master Chakras are located on each hand between your thumb and index finger. Let them get balanced. Then, bring them up to your chest and imagine you can connect your prayers with your heart. These affirmations can help:

“My prayers are connecting with my heart center.”

“I ask to receive guidance, clarity and healing from my Inner Wisdom.”

You might want to journal some of your thoughts so you can talk about what comes up later with a trusted counselor or friend. If so, get out some paper and something to write with as you go through the steps.

Step One: Ask for Help

If you could ask for something that would be genuinely helpful to you, what would it be?

While reflecting on this Soul Prayer Chart, breathe in deeply, all the way into your belly several times and exhale slowly.

Continue breathing and visualize your request lifting up from your heart center to spirit for manifestation. Lifting up on the breath of life.

 

Step Two – Support

With this symbol, intend to bring relief and relaxation into all parts of your body, mind and spirit while you continue to breathe.
It’s okay to ask for miracles.

Step Three ~ Being of Joyful Service

If you’re feeing overwhelmed and not sure what to ask for, be kind to yourself and realize this is much bigger than anything you have control over.

Feelings of loss can easily get convoluted or all wound up with a whirlwind of emotions. You can let go and release the energy around any pressured or over-complicated ideas. If you’re trying to do too much, allow your expectations to relax and unwind.

Visualize any pressured or twisted ideas gently unfolding and unwinding.

This may be a good time to relax with Oxygen or integrate Divine Protection.

 

Step Four ~ Peace

Now that you’re more relaxed with your request, think about the main question, difficulty or burden you’re dealing with right now.
If you’d like to process it a little bit, take a few moments and put it into your own words.

If there’s a blockage or resistance, are you willing to let go of whatever it is and find a solution? If not, why not?

 

Step Five – Release

If you can, imagine that difficulty or burden is beginning to melt and soften up. You can release the tension around anything that’s bothering you about this. Your shoulders are dropped. Your jaw is relaxed.

Hardened thoughts are melting like ice under the light of the Sun.
Keep softening the tension until you feel a release.


Remember to do that both crossed and uncrossed.

 

Step Six – From Self-care for Loss to Divine Blessings

Continue to relax and let your mind turn to helpful channels of life affirming communication with your Soul. Use Divine Protection again to help you connect deeply with those channels.

Feel that beneficial energy flowing through you and making you stronger.

Step Six – Soul Vision

Now it’s much easier to connect with the wisdom of your Soul through the Soul Chakra located above your head. Integrate with Divine Protection. Under this new light you have access to expanded awareness and perception of what’s possible.
Consider what your life could be without this difficulty you’re concerned about. What would it be like if the burdens were lifted? Can you imagine it?

Sense the experience as much as you can in detail.

Use these affirmations to help you regain your power and repair structural integrity:

“I call on my Essential Nature to empower and strengthen me.”

“I rebuild my integrity and rise above harmful mindsets and self-destructive habits.”

Once you feel your energy has lifted and is better organized, you’re ready to continue.

 

Step Ten: Divine Connection

We all have the capacity for a spiritual connection to Joy and Gratitude in our Heart Centers. Utilize Divine Protection to connect with your strength and the knowledge that you are loved.
You exist and what you do matters.

“I connect and communicate with the source of joy and gratitude that lives in my heart.”

“I am empowered to let go and find healing in this situation.”

 

Step Eleven – Surrender Your Burdens

Visualize sending all those destructive mindsets, habits and burdens to dissolve into the light of the Sun. Surrender them completely with a sense of Compassion and Forgiveness.

Feel the heaviness lifting up and off of you.
You have done the best that you can under the circumstances.

Soon, you’ll reclaim your Faith, your Free Will and other important Soul Resources to help you heal and find answers for what’s needed.

 

Step Twelve – Let Go

Breathe again and gaze on this Soul Star Detachment Chart for a few minutes to mend your energy by letting go of extraneous toxins and other interfering energies that may be contributing to your difficulties.

Feel a calmness coming over you.
Like a healing balm, imagine a loving coat of peace and comfort is pouring down over your body.

 

Step Thirteen – Cleanse

You can release any illness, pain or suffering that’s associated with this situation.
Send it to the Light so it can go wherever it needs to go to heal.

Continue to let it go and allow your personal energy to repair itself.

Ground in the Truth and Your Power

A Mind Exercise for Grounding In The Truth ~

SOS - RESOLVE Grounding in the Truth

Many people realize how important grounding in the truth is because external power struggles can so easily uproot us from the truth about what’s best for us.

Staying centered requires that you know how to use the power of your mind to control your own energy.

Use this Mind Exercise when you:

  • Are having difficulty getting grounded
  • Feel caught up in a power struggle
  • Are wasting energy on the past
  • Feel trapped by harmful agendas and assumptions
  • Are worrying or fearful about the future
  • Need to access dependable guidance to avoid sabotage.

Here’s how Grounding in the Truth works:

Meditate on each image with it’s affirmations for a minute or two. Notice how you start thinking about your situation differently and re-organize your relationship to the problem. You’ll probably feel a lot of energy moving – that’s all right, it simply means the Circles are working to cleanse and balance your energy in accordance with the intention you’ve set for yourself. Stay with it until the energy calms down and then move on to the next step.

Journaling for Gounding Your Power

Keep in mind that relaxation is key to any healing or awareness process. Follow the suggestions to the best of your ability and be flexible. If you intuitively want to trace over the lines of an image, let yourself do that. Let your imagination play with images or unusual thoughts that come to mind.

There are no mistakes!

Next, prepare to detach from what has fallen apart in the old ‘status quo’…

Once you’re done, your energy will be more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded. A person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone.

Afterwards, take some time to relax and unwind. Movement or gentle stretching can help to release tension and excess energy.


Step One – Authenticity

Begin by establishing a strong intention based on what you need, stated in the positive. You might want to write it down.

Tap into the energy of your Soul with Old Sol. What is the suggestion you get?

Old Soul

Examples: “I maintain my integrity and am true to myself.”
“I reclaim my strength and Soul resources.” 
“I am free to ________________.” etc.

 

Step Two – Divine Protection

Use this Soul Prayer Chart to improve how you’re utilizing life force:

“I connect with beneficial life force to strongly protect and ground me in the truth.”

Imagine all the lines coming together in the center spoke of this Circle until you feel strong, positive energy flowing through you.

Cross and uncross your hands over the midline of your body as many times as you like until the integration feels complete. Feel free to return to Divine Protection at any time during this exercise to help you neutralize heavily polarized energies that may be running through any of your chakras.

Step Three – Resolve

Gaze softly at Stingray Medicine while affirming these thoughts:

“I detach from interference and destructive mindsets.”

“I stop feeding harmful projects, communications and people.”

“I let go of subconscious motivations to tap into other people’s energy or to allow them to tap into mine.”

 

Step Four – Balance

Continue with this Reiki Chakra Key for balancing the Yin and Yang energies at your sacrum. Gently bring your attention to your tailbone using these affirmations:

“I let go of extreme or polarized energies that pull me off track.”

“I tune into the moderate and balanced flow of the Tao.”

 

Step Five – Vitality

If you’re feeling drained or exhausted, tune into the Reiki Chakra Key for your Root Chakra located just to the front of your tailbone. This is your base connection with the Earth and your physical vitality.

“I clear out negativity, violent or abusive energies.”

“I find balance and support for my basic, physiological needs.”

 

Step Six – Empowerment

Your Root Chakra may hold old programming about being a victim or susceptible to abuse or violence. Use this Soul Star to help you clear out any conditioning that’s related to your current issue. 

“I clear out negative, violent or abusive energies.”

“I choose to vibrate with the flow of Life.”

 

Step Seven ~ Self-determination

Turn your attention to the top of your head and bring the polarity there into positive balance. Breathe deeply with the Life Path Chakras and these affirmations:

“I tune into my positive potential.”

“I follow my true life path.”

“I bring ease and flow into my relationship with _________.”

 

Step Eight – Soul Guidance

Connect with your Soul Chakra, located directly above your head. Continue to relax and breathe:

“I connect with the energy, power and gifts of my Soul.”

“I use my soul resources to be aware, objective and ___________.”

“I integrate them to create my Soul’s true purpose.”

“I am present and resonating with my Soul’s unique vibration.”

 

Step Nine – Centering

Bring your awareness to your Heart Chakra and keep breathing:

“I am centered and connected to my core.”

“I open to my inner guidance and am present with it.”

“I have compassion for my needs and well-being.”

“I am protected and my energy is my own.”

Divine ProtectionSpecial note: You may need to go back up to Step Two the integrate your Heart Center with Divine Protection.

 

Step Ten – Compassion

Your Heart or Fourth Chakra is the center of your Being and the focal point for a healthy and adaptable chakra system. Breathe and relax until you sense positive energy radiating out. 

“I release obstructions and heaviness.”

“I choose to emanate Love, Compassion, Gratitude and Joy.”

 

Step Eleven – Divine Protection

This is a good time to return your awareness to the new channels of energy and communication and make sure they’re connecting.

Breathe deeply and imagine the lines going into the Circle are connecting at the center spoke until you feel strong positive energy flowing through you.

Step Twelve – Grounding

Take your time with the Earth Chakra to get grounded and calm.

“I plant my feet firmly on the Earth.”

“I slow down and step carefully.”

“I am present and grounding in the truth.”

“I am partnering with the Earth and aligned with beneficial energies.”

 

Step Thirteen – Position

Use this Soul Prayer Chart to identify what you truthfully need to move forward now from a place of Love. Ask yourself:

“Am I positioned correctly and protected?
Is something blocking me? Am I blocking myself?
Am I in someone else’s way?
Am I using the kind of emotions or energies that will take me where I want to go?”

“Am I being motivated by Love or fear?”

 

Step Fourteen – Truth

Connect with the Source in your Heart Center to empower the changes you need to make:

”I exist and come from a place of Joy and Gratitude.” 

“I have the power to create and maintain healthy boundaries.”

“I  empower my Soul’s true purpose and path.”

“I am empowered to easily let go of what no longer benefits me.” 

 

Step Fifteen – Dissolve Destructive Blueprints

Gracefully release any mental structures, karma or destructive blueprints that don’t belong with you or benefit you anymore. Use this symbol to send them all to the light of the Sun:

“I surrender harmful karma and energy patterns to the sSn.”

Once that’s completed, affirm to yourself:

“I set things right and accept what’s mine so I can ground in the truth and move forward safely and in balance.”

 

Step Sixteen – Completion

Close down any leaks, holes or pathways to suffering that might have come open during this exercise. You can be finished and done with anything that takes you away from your Soul’s true path.

“All doors, holes and completed pathways are healed and sealed.”

“I follow the direction of my Soul’s protection.”

Congratulations! Your energy is more your own and you’ll have a much easier time staying grounded now. Remember, a person whose energy is balanced and grounded benefits everyone. Be sure to take some time to relax and rest.
