The environment in your second chakra is very important to your self-care and emotional healing. When it’s balanced and healthy, it transmits a vibrant orange energy that is hopeful and attracts belonging and support. It’s also your creative center, the place where you generate your personal mana or creative energy. If it becomes stagnant, goes into shock or gets caught up in emotional entanglements, your physical, emotional and spiritual health suffers. In today’s environment, that’s something many of us are experiencing. This simple feng shui exercise is designed to help you go within and come up with important resources for staying healthy.

Creating Internal Safety is based on SOS Mind Exercise #8: Setting Up a Safe Space

Creating Internal Safety by Setting Up a Safe Space In Creating Internal Safety, you’ll be utilizing your intuitive insight to implement very simple changes that can make a world of difference in how you’re creating stability and safety in your personal space. You’ll discover that your intuition and unconscious mind are much more aware of whats going on than your conscious mind is!

Go through this mind exercise by reading each step and then gazing softly at the Circle that goes with it to gain insight about what creative changes you can make in your internal and/or external environment that will help you.


Step 1. The goal of Creating Internal Safety is for you to get clarity about how well your personal space is supporting you and what you can do to make improvements. You might get insights about your body or your external environment. After all, they are connected and this is an important time to become aware of them.

First, take some time to slow down while you gaze softly at the Circle. Breathe in and out several times. Drop your shoulders. Relax your jaw. 

Move around and stretch if you need to.

 

Now that you’re more relaxed, imagine you can see the space within your Second Chakra (remember, that’s located about 2″ below your navel).

Zoom in, like a camera. See or sense it moving in slow motion.

What do you notice? Go ahead and make notes about what you sense.

 

Step 2. Gaze at this Circle for Divine Protection and ask for help so that you can get more aware.

Let’s start with very simple questions that we take one at a time…

Is there anything in your personal space or immediate environment that could be triggering an unsettling reaction in you? Is anything getting you down?

  • Is something missing? Is something present that shouldn’t be?
  • Is there any toxic build up?
  • What else do you notice that doesn’t seem right? Make notes so that you’ll remember.

Step 3. Physical objects in your environment carry a lot of energy through them, especially if they have been gifted to you or are second hand pieces. These could be books, equipment, furniture, pictures and other objects of art. Are there any objects in your home or office that are having a negative effect on you? If so, can you identify them?

What would remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, rearranged, cleaned or removed completely? Can something be brought in to remedy the situation?

 

Step 4. You could be preoccupied by other things that are causing you to be anxious. Like many of us, you may be reorganizing your work/living arrangements or in the middle of repairs. Let this Circle help you relax and answer questions about how you need to nurture yourself now, under your current circumstances:

“Is there something I can let go of that will help ease the situation? If so, what is it and where is it located?”

“Have I forgotten something that I need to add to my space?”

“Is there anything else?”

When dealing with emotional change, it’s often a great help to rearrange or clean out certain areas of the home – and that includes cleaning crystals. Read more about that here…

Feng shui tradition also suggests to find at least twelve objects to move when the the season is changing or when other significant changes are occurring. If that’s needed, this Circle will help you come up with the objects that would be most helpful for you to move!

Old Soul

 

Step 5. Now that you’ve considered how you can help your external environment, it’s time to check in with your body. Take a minute and use this next Circle to tune into yourself: What emotion(s) are running through you? Does that throw you off balance?

Is that dynamic helpful or harmful to you?

 

If it’s harmful, you might be experiencing a compulsion, obsession or phobia from the collective unconscious. If that’s happening, release your agreement to carry it any longer and expel it from your body.

 

Step 6. Is there anything else that’s irritating you?

Identify it if you can.

What will remedy the situation?

Does something need to be moved, cleaned, cleared or rearranged? Does anything need to be removed completely?

Is there anything else?

 

Step 7. Is there anything that you could bring into your space or your diet that would help you be happier, more hopeful or more creative?

Would anything increase your good health or emotional stability?

Could anything be done to increase your sense of safety?

What might you add that would bring more beauty into your space?

Is there anything else you need to know?

 

Step 8. You can finish the game today by closing the door to any old pathways to suffering. Then remind yourself that your personal space belongs to you. How you take care of it has a profound effect on the rest of your life!

The objectives of each Feng Shui consultation are unique, based on your individual needs. For that reason, Rheanni offers a complimentary 15 minute interview to determine if this kind of session would be effective for you. After that, you will be asked to fill out a Client  Feng Shui Intake Form to clarify your concerns and goals.

Clearing and Set Up Sessions are $120.00 per hour, + NM Sales Tax. An average session takes between 1 1/2 to 3 hours. Follow up recommendations are billed at $60.00 per hour.

Properties outside of the Santa Fe area require a reasonable fee to accommodate the time and distance traveled.

Transformation Game: Healing Emotional Abuse from Our Collective Karma

Transformation Game - Healing Emotional AbuseThe key to healing emotional abuse and remaining positive in difficult times is to remember the bottom line – you are a being of love!

Sometimes we forget or never believed it in the first place. We allow past patterns of fear, hatred or abuse to influence us. One of the main ways that this happens is through confusion.

In order to move into the New Paradigm, we need ways to address the collective karma that is at the source of the confusion. To help with that, I’d like to share a powerful process that has helped many people shift negative collective patterns into positive well being. It’s called Healing Emotional Abuse– R Lightwater

Transformation Games are inspired by Kuan Yin, a beloved and respected healing guide among natural health and energy medicine practitioners.

*Caution! Her advice is, as always,  direct and to the point!


“Did you know that a person who is stuck in confusion is probably under the influence of karmic patterns of abuse?
Some patterns are about individual karma and some are collective patterns. In a collective pattern, we are all affected in one way or another. A poignant example would be the tragedy of 9/11 or Nazi Germany in World War II. 
In current times, the appearance and spread of the coronavirus, the destruction of our environment and the deterioration of our democracies are definitely group patterns. We all share the collective karma of these events, although the level of our involvement varies with each person or group, of course.
The game below is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles™ that can help you disentangle from collective karma that’s holding you back in the present. Simply go through the game by answering pertinent questions that will activate your heart wisdom and give you a new perspective.”

Step One: Gaze at the Circle for a moment and then consider this question:

“In what aspect of my life am I experiencing confusion or fear?”


Use the answer that comes to you as the basis for the game so that you can disengage from the confusion and release your fears very quickly. If there’s more than one situation causing you to be concerned, angry or fearful, play the game again later for each specific situation. The best way to take the energy out of anything is to stop feeding it and turn your attention to whatever you love. That is exactly what Healing Emotional Abuse will help you to do with these unconscious patterns.”

How to Play Healing Emotional Abuse:

Simply gaze softly at the images below while you ponder the statements or questions that go with them. Use the symbols to help you go within and access new energy and clarity.  What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

Mind Body Integration

Mind Body IntegrationFor best results, look at each symbol both crossed over the midline of the body and uncrossed so that the correction is more complete.

 

Step Two: Relax with this symbol and repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from extreme to balanced, from confused to clear and/or from powerless to empowered.”

 

Imagine that your life is like a movie and that your inner camera is filming it from a certain angle. Allow your Inner Guidance to pull the camera back and move it to an entirely different angle – a perception that includes a viable solution. Focus in on this new perspective like a close up in a movie. 

 

Step Three: While looking at this Circle, remember that aspect of your life that’s troubling you. Ask your heart:

“What do I notice about what I’m feeling?” or

“Is there a particular time when I feel especially anxious or confused?”

“Am I having trouble making a conscious decision about my future?”

Remember, there is no right or wrong answer. Any information you get can be used to help you!

 

Step Four: Notice how this situation may shut you down or agitate you because it opens up a lot of turmoil. Breathe a few times and allow this Circle to help you calm yourself and get back into balance.

 

Step Five: See if you can free up your breath and body even more. Gaze softly at this symbol and play with your breath for a few minutes.

  • If you’re uncomfortable or tight – move around.
  • If your breathing feels stilted or anxious vary the tempo, the length and breadth of it.
  • Stretch. Fire breathe. Whatever it takes!

“I allow my energy to relax and resonate with the breath of life.”

Emotional Calm

 

 

Step Six: Use this Circle to tune into your heart center. You can do this by focusing your inner camera again. This time, use it to zoom in on your heart center. Once you feel a connection, ask for help from your Soul resources and allow yourself to receive all the help that you need. Take your time and surrender into it.

“I exist. I am important and filled with the supportive energy of my spirit.”

 

 

Step Seven: It’s time to dispel destructive energies from your field. Begin with this symbol, which helps you dissolve any confusion or fear that you might be feeling right now. You can even include harmful habits or illness if you’re experiencing those.

You can imagine the turmoil is like a bank of heavy clouds. Visualize the clouds breaking apart, dissipating into the pure light of the Sun.

 

Step Eight: Check to see if you’re positioned properly to receive natural healing and receive your heart’s desire.

Use this Circle to help you visualize your personal Sacred Garden where you can rest and nurture your dreams. Look at the Circle and ask your heart, “Am I in my own Sacred Garden?” If you aren’t, pull yourself back. If you are, look to see if the landscape could use some tending.

 

Clear out any old or harmful intentions that may keep you invested in emotional abuse, destructive habits or any other sort of power grab.

Once all old intentions are cleared away, what is an intention that comes directly from your Soul?

 

Step Nine: Now that you’ve cleared destructive energy away and made repairs, take a moment and focus on something or someone that you truly love. It could be a place in nature, a favorite animal, an activity, a person that you care deeply for or all of the above! You can use this affirmation if you like:

“I turn my attention towards love. Love is my priority.”

It also helps to place an image of what you love in the center, blank area of the Circle. Be sure to take all the time you need with this.

 

Step Ten: Imagine that you are creating something beautiful as an expression of your love. Use the Circle to help you plant the karmic seeds for a new collective pattern of Divine Love in your Garden. Be sure to include seeds for everything it would need to prosper and grow in the New Paradigm.

 

Step Eleven: Now it’s time to visualize being calm and serene. You are protected from any negative energy coming from the old paradigm. All doors to anxiety or fear are closing now…  “I close down all harmful energy channels.”

Let your body drop into that feeling and feel your tension unwind. You know what that feels like don’t you? So relaxed and very, very calm.

Imagine a gateway to loving kindness opening before you. As the gateway opens, your consciousness lightens and expands.

My mind is now open and clear to receive generative life force.”

 

Step Twelve: Your shoulders are dropping. Your breathing has gotten deeper and deeper.

“I am surrounded by protection, courage and comfort.”

 

Step Thirteen: Now, you’ll want to be sure that you’ve learned the lessons of this karma. Relax with these Circles and the positive affirmations until you feel the shift has taken place:

“I understand what’s happening and what I’m letting go of. I pull myself together and connect with what I need to do now.”

 

“I’ve learned my lesson about __________.

I follow through on my Soul’s guidance about __________.”

“I use my energy correctly to create my heart’s desire.”

For a much deeper integration, trace around the circle Clockwise with your eyes, both uncrossed and crossed, while you consider what you’re going to do.

Then, do the same as you trace your eyes around the square in the same direct, both crossed and uncrossed.

 

 

Step Fourteen: Finally, make a firm decision that you are done with this abuse and that you’re not going back. With this Circle, find the holes, openings or pathways that take you back to the past and close them – in accordance with your highest good.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

 

Make sure that your Soul is shining its Light on a path forward that you can follow.

 

Step Fifteen: Finish the game by making sure the protective light of your personal aura is all sealed and healed – an important step that will help your health and mental focus even more!

 

Congratulations for extricating yourself from all that. Now would be a great time to rest and nurture yourself. Take a walk or spend time in nature – doing something you love. Allow yourself to receive the blessings that come from leaving the past behind and healing emotional abuse.

Todays Intuitive Reading - Finding Moderation

“In times of difficulty and danger, it’s usually best to move with the flow of MODERATION, Hexagram #15, where ‘The predominant forces … are in the process of balancing extremes and harmonizing interests.’ ~ The I Ching Workbook, R.L. Wing

The ancient Chinese text describes finding MODERATION as the best way to make progress amidst chaos. The suggestion is to disengage from extremes or opinionated attitudes and then follow the guidance that comes from within instead. In almost any situation, if you are able to walk the middle road between extremes, there will be improvement in whatever you undertake.

Finding Moderation and Following that Path ~

As a general rule, MODERATION is the most sensible flow to follow, especially in the midst of a transition this significant. Unpreferred karma (cause and effect) is just waiting to be triggered and must be dealt with in one way or the other. For most people, one of these scenarios is probably happening:

  1. Falling into a downward spiral of mental, emotional, physical and/or spiritual health.
  2. Experiencing a lot of rebellion and refusal to change
  3. Getting pulled backwards into regressive and harmful patterns.
  4. Pulling oneself together into a centered position of empowered authority.

Initial Evaluation: As you softly gaze at this Circle that accesses karmic seeds, see if you’re currently experiencing one or more of these situations. Ask yourself:

“Am I generally experiencing situation #1, 2, 3 or 4?”

It could easily be a mix, depending on your mindset and what stage of the karma you’re living through.

Whichever one it is, you can make your life easier by letting go of old agreements or karma that’s over and done with.

To Each Their Own

It’s also especially important, at this time, to make sure you aren’t taking on anyone else’s karma. In times of increased violence and unrest, it’s common for people who want to avoid responsibility to systemically “scapegoat”  by dumping their problems and the karma associated with it onto others. Emotionally, this happens through shame, blame, intimidation and playing the pity card. Spiritually, it happens through apathy, indifference or complicity towards degenerate morality. Physically and mentally, it happens by taking part in harmful decisions and actions and then denying responsibility for their part in them.

Most people who take karma on for others are either:

  • feeling guilty and stuck because they are part of a situation, but are taking on more than their part of the responsibility
  • unconsciously organizing their life around the problem
  • compulsively fueling it with their energy and attention, or
  • internalizing it (taking it personally).

When we buy into these behaviors, we are inadvertently preventing karma from being properly delivered to its rightful recipients.

To help you avoid this trap and stay on the middle road, use this symbol with the affirmations to set things right:

“I let go of my attachment to harmful energy,  either on an individual or a collective level. I let go to maintain an effective level of protection.”

I create resiliency and autonomy.”

Let Go of Harmful Karmic Agreements So You Can Be Present and Regain Balance.

Use this Soul Contract Circle to help you identify and release the agreements. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you use the affirmations. 

“I let go of any karmic agreement that is complete – over and done with or that is causing me harm in any way.”

“I let go of harmful agreements associated with the old paradigm.” (extremes, greed, intolerance, co-dependence, pressure, dishonesty, people pleasing, etc.)

I decide to slow down to prepare for ________ and take care of ________.”

This is a good opportunity to unlock yourself from any outdated intentions or plans that are blocking your ability to ADAPT to the New Paradigm. Check agreements and intentions with family, friends or business relationships. Include organizations you’ve been involved with – religious institutions, political agendas, completed projects, places you’ve lived, modes of transportation, communication issues, ways of doing business, etc.

“I disengage from out-dated or harmful intentions from the old paradigm.”

Unearth Old Mental and Emotional Garbage.

Use this chart to uproot unconscious cultural conditioning that keeps you stuck in the regressive attitudes and expectations of the old paradigm. Imagine you can free up and uproot your energy from wherever it may have gotten planted. 


 

Make A New Decision.

It’s time to get out of jail. Decide to create a sustainable future by finding moderation for yourself and getting back into balance with Nature. 

“I am guided by the light of Divine Source within.” 

“I make choices that align me with my Soul’s path and purpose.”

What other decisions would help?


Recalibrate Your Energy.

Devote your energy to living in alignment with your true Nature and the World.

“I exist and reclaim my connection with Spirit through my heart.”

“I relax and allow my energy to recalibrate. I actualize my highest good.”


Invoke Protection and Clarity of Mind:

“I close down all invasive energy channels from the past, present or future.”

“My mind is open and clear to receive generative life force.”


Refocus on Your Priorities.

Visualize what’s truly important to you in the center open space of this Circle.

“I direct my life force towards truly beneficial activities and situations.”

Be sure to include fun, joy and restful relaxation!


Support Yourself with the Appropriate Nourishment.

“I seek out healthy nourishment. I nurture my body, mind and spirit in alignment with my true nature.”

Are there any herbs, teas, vegetables or fruits that would be especially helpful to you now?


Close the Door on Unnecessary Suffering.

Finish this part of the game by closing the door on harmful activities, agendas and pathways that lead back to the old paradigm. Take all the time you need. There are probably a lot of them.

“All doors and pathways are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

Welcome to the Middle Road! You probably feel much more balance. Go back to the Initial Evaluation for the game and check to see if anything has been cleared.

There are several other decisions that could really improve how you’re dealing with your situation. If you feel incomplete, you can continue with a few extremes that might be making it hard for you to find and stay on the road to MODERATION:

Extreme #1: The 24/7 workaholic syndrome.

Here is the prime example, ‘Being busy = being important and having purpose.’ You might want to let go of that, because this is a terrible time to base your self-worth on external expectations.

“My purpose comes from my Soul. I let go of unrealistic expectations.”

“I understand that my job is there to support me, not the other way around. I am worth and my well-being is part of the exchange.”

 

Extreme #2: The ‘there are no limits’ syndrome.

For example: The Sun is good, however too much Sun causes cancer. Butter is good, yet too much butter causes weight gain, etc. Another social meme that explains the mindset is: ‘The sky is the limit. I want it all now, so I should be able to have it all now!’ 

“I send a laser beam to break up the group attitude of perfectionism, entitlement and impatience. I dissolve self-destructive behavior.”

“I decide that healthy, MODERATE limits are enhancing my creativity.”

“I empower satisfaction, appreciation and tolerance. I patiently follow my inner guidance.”

 

 

Extreme #3: The ‘I’m not doing enough/doing too much” dichotomy.

Finding MODERATION means doing just the right amount. Think Goldilocks -not too much and not too little… just right. If things seem too slow for you, suddenly heading off into fifteen different directions will probably backfire on you badly.  That’s because panic, overwhelm and poor planning usually leads to poor results at best, and chaos at worst. If you’re going too fast, stop and slow things down. Thoughtful consideration about what you really need is what’s most important now.

“What do I really need right now? What will help me do that?”

 

Now it’s time to clean up mental and emotional patterns that are related to these patterns and have been pulling you off track. Use this symbol for destructive blueprints to identify and dissolve self-delusion or any societal or familial patterns that still affect you in a negative way. See them disappear as you send them to the Sun:

“I dissolve the destructive energy of these mindsets and any connection I have ever had to them.”

“I dissolve ___________________.”

A lot of those “extremes” may still be attached to hidden pockets in your magnetic field. Expel them with this chart and mend any damage that may have occurred.

This is a good time to check for and release entanglements.

 

Once your field is repaired, close the door to pathways that lead to extremes and danger.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.

I am finding MODERATION in accordance with my highest good.”

 


For many people, finding MODERATION signifies an opportunity to go within and expel deep patterns of fanaticism within their psyche so that they can evolve and arise from that pattern, much as a beautiful lotus arises from the muck and mire at the bottom of a pond.”

Learning from Danger

“There are times when none of our efforts to solve a problem have been effective and the way out of DANGER is blocked. Often, all that you may do is wait. Yet, even when that is the case, there are still things that you can do to become more aware of yourself by learning from DANGER

‘Frequent encounters with DANGER are a part of life. Beyond making you inwardly strong, familiarity with DANGER, like the near brush of death, can instill in you a profound awareness of the life force and the mysterious nature of the cosmos. Such heightened awareness can bring new meaning, determination and richness into your life.’ ~The I Ching Workbook, R.L Wing

Generally, the text from Hexagram #29 talks about DANGER that exists in your immediate environment. Responding correctly is really about Right Action – knowing when and how to take action with clarity of mind. Sometimes it’s best to take minimal action or do nothing at all. Awareness and keeping your wits about you are really the keys.”

Learning from Danger – A Transformation Game

This Game uses the Intuitive Learning Circles to help you gain a deeper understanding of the dangers facing you. For example, you may know that something is wrong and not be able to specify the details of what you need to be aware of. This game can help you identify it. Or, you may have awareness of the danger, but not know what to do about it.

Or,  your desires could be leading you into danger time and time again and you’re not learning from it. You can use this game to explore what that’s about and see if there’s something you can do to transcend the habit.

Step One: Access Your Gut Instincts.

Simply relax and gaze softly at this Reiki Chakra Key to open and balance your Third Chakra located at your Solar Plexus (the soft area in the front where your ribs go up).

Step Two: Balance Your Senses.

When DANGER is present, It’s essential to see things as they really are. See if you can remedy any “blind spots” or confusion by gazing softly at this Reiki Chakra Key for the five senses, together with these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I use them to be present and make sense of my current conditions and environment.”

“They help me to clear blind spots and confusion.”

“I use them to be aware of DANGER and find helpful solutions.”

“I sense things as they are really happening.”

 

Step Three: Connect with Your Instinctual Nature.

Tune into your psyche, your instincts and your connection to the natural world. Make a commitment to pay attention to signals from Nature and learn to respect the power of Mother Earth’s energies.

“I connect with my natural instincts, my timing and Soul resources.”

“I pay attention to my environment and allow it to inform me about elements of concern.”

 

Step Four: Slow down.

Danger often comes from being in too much of a hurry and pushing our way through. Sometimes, it’s the opposite – we’re not taking action when we know in our hearts it’s in our best interest to do so!

Gaze softly at the Circle to help you slow down and unwind any confusion around what’s really important. Take several deep breaths. Keep inhaling and exhaling until you’ve relaxed and your mind has slowed down.

“I slow down and allow my priorities to reveal themselves.”

 

Step Five: Uncover Your Awareness of the Danger.

Gaze at this Circle that accesses your intuition and unconscious awareness of a danger you are facing now. Imagine that you can gather up that inner library of experience and see what kind of knowledge comes forward.

Take your time and let the information emerge. Ask yourself:

“What is the real danger about? Is something about to happen? Is there anything or anyone in my environment that is dangerous to me or others? If so, where are they and what affect are they having?”

“How much harm is this situation causing for me and for others?”

Step Six: See it Calmly and With Discernment.

First, let’s make a couple of corrections that will improve your awareness of your situation…

Is any part of you getting caught up in panic? If so, breathe deeply and gaze at this symbol from Kuan Yin. Use the positive affirmations to help:

“I let go of turmoil and panic.”

“I can easily access serenity within.”

 

“I cut through the smoke screen that blocks clear perception.”

 

“I easily keep my bearings as I navigate my environment.”

 

“I release myself from the prison of doubt and confusion.”

“I have my free will to choose wisely.”

Now, let this Circle help you tune your senses back to a comfortable level. They could have bumped up too high, too loud or intense. If it helps, you can use this affirmation:

“I calm down and gather my wits. I connect with my common sense. I perceive things as they are.”

The DANGER may be upsetting. Don’t get carried away. Gaze softly at the symbol and breathe for a couple minutes to gather up your wits and get calm again (remember that viruses and other destructive energies feed off of strong emotions)

 

Step Seven: Clarify the Right Action(s) to Take.

Use this Circle to help you identify possible solutions that you can honestly take upon yourself without placing yourself in further, unnecessary danger. Explore different scenarios until you find a response that makes sense.

“What is something I could do that would be genuinely helpful to me?”

“Is there something to refrain from that would help me?”

 

“Are there other helpful actions I could take?”

Make a note of the suggestions that come. Times of danger can be filled with distractions that make it easy to forget. 

 

Step Eight: Dissolve Destructive Blueprints.

Imagine that the symbol below can help you clear away destructive patterns that may be blocking or threatening you.

“I dissolve the dangerous imprints of ________ and any connection I have ever had to them. I clear my field of destructive habits and the mental / emotional patterns that cause them. I send them all to the Light.” 

Step Nine: To manage yourself well in dangerous times, be sure that you stay grounded and centered.

Get your feet on the ground and connect with the positive energy of Mother Earth.

Step Eight: Close the Doors to Actions that Escalate or Invite Further Danger.

Your unconscious mind knows what’s helpful and what’s harmful to your body, mind and spirit. It’s time to close the door on any harmful pathways that are still open in your mind. See them disappear, as if they were never there.

“All harmful pathways are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

SOS Self-care Formula #4: Develop Healthy Boundaries

SOS - Develop Healthy BoundariesMany people, especially those who are highly sensitive or empathic, want to learn how to develop healthy boundaries because they are so open to thoughts and energies coming from other people. Sometimes those thoughts get attached in their minds and spin around, causing a great deal of discomfort.

If the pathways remain open, all kinds of trouble (karma, issues, illness or confusion) can pass back and forth between people without their awareness. If left unchecked, this type of attachment can manifest in negativity, sudden and mysterious illnesses, mental confusion, issues with prosperity or chronic states of overwhelm.

It’s a valuable skill to know how to shift your energy and Develop Healthy Boundaries.

Self-care Formula #4 from SOS – Soul Oriented Solutions uses affirmations and the Intuitive Learning Circles to help you learn to consciously close off the pathways to busy or negative thoughts and shift into a more positive mindset. Here’s an example of how it works. Simply gaze softly at the Circle while you contemplate each of these positive affirmations:

“I reclaim and balance my five senses.”

“I focus them to be present and aware of appropriate boundaries.”

“I use them to become aware of intrusive thoughts, attachments, illness and confusion so that I can let them go.”

“I focus on a hopeful future and productive actions that will benefit my health and happiness.”

Use Develop Healthy Boundaries when you are:

  • Agitated or feeling out of sync
  • Distressed by recent news
  • Getting negative or anticipating hardship
  • Feeling claustrophobic
  • Unable to meditate or sit still
  • Obsessed with a particular person or situation.

Here’s how it works: Find a quiet place if possible, where you won’t be disturbed for about twenty minutes. Follow the sequence of symbols while you read their accompanying instructions. Gaze gently at each Circle for about two minutes. A longer or shorter time may be necessary.

Let yourself breathe and relax as much as possible. Don’t worry if the images move around or change in any way. That just means the Circles are working and that your mind and body are relaxing.
Be sure to go through the entire formula and at the end, give yourself time to rest and integrate.

Developing a quiet mind and light heart changes your perspective and that makes it easier to follow through with your true priorities.

Gently contemplate each step for clarity and better boundaries…


Step 1. Balance

Begin by consciously breathing in on the count of three and slowly exhaling on the count of five. It’s helpful if you can breathe in through your nose. Do that three or four times while you gently focus on the Circle.
Continue breathing and bring your awareness to your tailbone.

What do you need to get in balance about?

 

Step 2. Calm

Keep breathing with your belly soft and relaxed.
Let your shoulders drop.
Gaze softly at the Circle and imagine you can turn down the feelings or thoughts that are turned up too high, just like the volume on a radio dial. Be sure to do that both crossed and uncrossed.

What thoughts relax you? 

 

Step 3. Centering

See if you can collect any noisy thoughts or distractions into the center of this Circle. You may sense something like a web or a bunch of strings that have gotten all tangled up with each other. Or, you may get a sense of an open, gaping hole. Whatever it is, bring it all into the center.

Are there any distractions to let go of?

 

Step 4. Protection

Now that you have all the distractions gathered up, let the next Circle help you close that gaping hole or any other open pathways between you and all those noisy thoughts.
Keep closing the hole until all pathways are completely sealed and healed.

What are you ready to say goodbye to?

 

Step 5. Beauty

Now you’re ready to shift your attention. Breathe in and exhale. Beauty is everywhere. Consciously turn your attention to it.
Take your time and let the Circle help you call the most majestic, inspiring scene into your mind that you can imagine. Form a mental picture of what it’s like. Imagine the sounds and how it would feel to be there.

What beautiful places have you been or would like to go to?

 

Step 6. Trust

Come back to your breathing again and notice how calming it is.
You can sense the steady rhythm of your heart.
The gentle expansion and contraction of your lungs.
Breathing in and letting go. Learning to trust.

What can you trust? 

 

Step 7. Intention

Give yourself permission to slow down and focus your energy on your priorities. Turn your attention to what really matters to you. Can you name what’s most important?
Let the Circle help you lift any falsehood or pressure you may feel right up off of you and send it to the Sun. Without all that pressure, it’s easier to know what your true priorities are.

What’s important to you now?

 

Step 8. Grounding

Gather your resources and get present in your body. Put your feet on the ground and feel your connection with the Earth.
If you like, you can stretch or move around in any way that feels good.
Flexing your fingers and toes can really help.

What do you feel in your body?

 

Step 9. Surrender

Imagine with each new, relaxing breath you are able to fill your heart with compassion and understanding for yourself.
Let any heaviness you feel lift up and out of you.
Dark clouds are dissolving into blue skies and sunlight.

What can you do that expresses love?

 

Step 10. Resolution

Before you finish this formula, make a commitment to stay centered and follow through on your priorities. Your health and happiness are important.
You can easily deflect foreign energies, other people’s thoughts or expectations.
It’s genuinely joyful to have a quiet mind and a light heart.

What joyful decisions can you make?

 

Step 11. Completion

Use the Circle to help you finish closing any harmful pathways that would lead you back to the noise and distractions of the external world.
Close the doors and seal the leaks – as if they were never there.
You are calm and ready to follow through now. Your mind is able to rest now.

What are some words of encouragement I could give myself?

 

What are some ways I could be gentler with myself?

 

What are some things I am grateful for?

 

Be sure to give yourself time to rest and integrate. Now might be a good time to take a walk or go out into Nature if you can.

 Use this mind exercise for dispelling self-doubt when you are:

  • Suddenly overcome with distrust or confusion
  • Sorting out what’s really going on in a relationship
  • Having trouble distinguishing what’s true and what’s not
  • Caught up in the past and need to clear the slate
  • Wanting to let go of thoughts or beliefs that cause you harm.

Dispelling Self-doubt Mind Exercise PTSDIt’s so important to understand that sometimes we’re tapping into a collective fear or the judgements of those around us – even if we’re in a basically healthy situation ourselves. Empathic abilities are more prevalent than most people would have you believe.

People are sensitive to each others thoughts and emotions more than ever, and it’s especially easy to tap into negative thoughts that you grew up with as a child because they’re so familiar. Yet, you don’t want to live in the past or under the shadow of other people’s projections.

When making decisions about what’s best for you now, you want to be able to distinguish between a thought or a memory and the reality of what’s really happening in the present.

Dispelling Self--doubt Projection-ReflectionThis self-care formula for Dispelling Self-doubt is here to help you clear away some of those projections and see things more clearly, from your own viewpoint. If your efforts to solve a problem are causing you to become overwhelmed and frustrated, go through this exercise and watch how your perspective changes! By playing, you’ll get to the bottom of what’s going on and access your intuition, which will give you constructive guidance on how to effectively come to a solution, at least for yourself.

Here’s how it works:
Start with both feet flat on the floor and keep your arms and legs uncrossed. Gaze softly at the Circle in Step One while you repeat the affirmations that go with it for several minutes.
You will probably feel a lot of energy moving while you do this exercise – that’s all right, that means the Circles are working to unlock a fixated pattern and get you ready for the rest of the exercise. You will know you’re done when the energy calms down and you can think clearly. Then you can move on to the remaining Circles with each of their affirmations to complete the process.

Once you’re done, your energy will be more your own and you will have a much clearer idea of what is actually going and what you can do about it.

Be sure to take some time afterward to relax and rest.

Dispelling Self-doubt and Projections

Step One:

Relax and gaze gently at this Soul Circle while you ask yourself this question:
“Is there someone or something in my life today that I don’t trust?”

 

Step Two:

Tune into this Circle to help you identify what’s involved.
Who or what is it about? There may be more than issue.
Is this real or a projection?
Is it a memory that seems real to you?

 

Step Three:

Make a mental list of the fears, assumptions and judgements that come to you. Include any beliefs about yourself, others or the situation in general that’s having a negative effect on you. Consider how things are appearing and what’s happened in the past. Is there a pattern of prejudice based on gender roles, status, sexual preferences, levels of experience, intelligence or general abilities?

Examples: Is there something about the physical situation? Is there an emotional component? Are you unclear about your role or responsibilities? When was the last time you felt this way?

“I assume ______. I’m afraid ______. My judgment is ______. I believe ______.”

 

 

Step Four:

Now that you have your list, go back through the answers and ask yourself:

“Are these things really true?”
“Do they have to be this way?”

Whether they are or not, see if you can move them further away from you or puncture them like balloons so that you can see them more objectively and not take them personally.

 

Step Five:

Imagine that your list of untrue thoughts and beliefs can be gathered up and gently burned until there’s nothing left but ashes. Go ahead and see that happening in your mind’s eye right now…

Now that you’ve burned them up forever, how much more calm is your mind?

 

Step Six:

 Is there any other garbage that needs to be dispelled?

Are you willing to let it go? If so, relax and see it clearing out.

If you’re not willing to let it go, why not?

Is it still serving you in some way?

Would it help to go through the formula again specifically around this garbage?

 

Step Seven:

If the garbage is gone and you feel clear, you’re ready to focus on productive activities that will help you create a happier life.

“I connect with productive thoughts and solutions.”

You may want to make a list of things to do that will help you now.

 

Step Eight.

Focus your attention and energy on these activities, like aiming at a bullseye.

Congratulations!

You have freed yourself from the grip of projections, paranoia and self-doubt. Now would be a good time to explore the possibilities that you’re open to now.

Simplify Your Life - A Transformation Game

“Simplicity is the path of inner direction and self worth. Examine your goals and the standards you have set for yourself. If they are unworthy, inefficient or nonexistent, it will be difficult to make significant progress in a productive direction. ADAPTING your mindset and how you’re using your energy is the appropriate response at this time. Use your inner wisdom to adjust to the realities of your new environment. See things through the lens of common sense and inner guidance. Dispense with ungrounded over-indulgences in whatever form they take.

To clear away complications and wasted effort, it may be necessary for you to refocus and look at your situation from a more objective perspective. As you do so, remember the strength and power that lives within you. By ADAPTING to your new awareness and simplifying your life, you will find many unexpected rewards.”

This Game is made up of Intuitive Learning Circles™, pertinent questions and positive affirmations that will:

    • give you a new perspective
    • activate your heart wisdom and
    • help you ADAPT to a simpler mindset by clearing up mental and emotional clutter.

Some questions to consider as you play Simplify Your Life are:

“Am I making things more complicated than they need to be?”

“Am I wasting my time and energy chasing after a thousand different things?” or

“How can I focus on the aspects of my life that are most important to me and prioritize my actions?”

If you choose one of these questions to contemplate for a few minutes and then go through the game, you’ll be able to shift your attitude and refocus your mind very quickly.

The pressures of life seem to increase everyday so we need to find guidance that comes from a reliable source. Go through the sequence anytime you feel scattered or overwhelmed. By going within and allowing your Inner Guidance to show you the way, you can simplify your life, make productive decisions and move forward with greater self confidence while you let the chaos take a back seat.”

How to Play Simplify Your Life:

Simply look at the sequence of Circles below while you ponder the questions or positive affirmations that go with them.

Mind Body Integration

Take a few breaths and relax. Use a soft focus to help you go within and access new energy and clarity. What you do with the information you come up with is up to you!

1. To begin, look at this symbol with a soft, relaxed gaze. Repeat to yourself several times:

“I am ready, willing and able to shift my perception from scattered to focused  –  from complexity to simplicity – from distractions to priorities.”

 

2. While looking at this Circle, think about the different activities you are engaged in. Ask yourself:

“Am I putting too much pressure on myself?”

“Am I spreading myself too thin?”

“Have I been seeing this situation honestly?”

 

3. Notice if the whole situation makes you feel anxious or uneasy. Breathe a few times and allow this Circle to help you to calm down and see more clearly.

 

4. Use this Circle from Reiki Chakra Keys to open and balance your third eye chakra. You can do this by focusing your attention on the Circle while you relax and breathe for a few moments. Use these positive affirmations to help:

“I open my intuition and common sense to become aware of what I truly need. 

I need to _______________.”

Once you feel focused, ask for genuine help from your Soul resources to simplify your life and balance your priorities.

 

 

5. Now that you’ve cleared up some of your misperceptions, you can use these next Circles to help you separate fact from fiction. Start by asking yourself:

“What percentage of the work that I’m doing is actually benefitting me?”

“Are there any activities or assumptions I’m making that are actually a waste of my time and pulling me off track?”

If so, can you name what they are?

Are there any distractions pulling you off track? If so, how?

 

“Is there clutter I could clear up that would help me get back on track?” 

Make sure it’s your clutter! If it belongs to someone else, use the Circle to visualize sweeping it all up and sending it back to wherever it belongs. 

 

“Am I wasting energy and time due to lack of focus?”

“Is there some other issue that I need to be aware of?”

 

6. Relax for a minute and tune into your solar plexus area. Let the energy get balanced in your 3rd chakra.

 

Is there something about the situation that reminds you of the way your family sometimes behaves? If so, are you willing to let it go? Gently visualize letting that energy go to the Sun and disappearing.

 

 

7. Relax with this image for a minute or two.

“I am willing and able to let go of complications and simplify my life.”

 

8. As you gaze softly at this symbol from Divine Nature Activated, imagine that you can clear up the communication lines between your mind and your body.

    • If communication lines seem tangled up, see them going to the Sun and disappearing. 
    • If communication seems outdated, see your internal system upgrading.
    • If you seem disconnected, imagine your communication lines straightening out and connecting properly within yourself and the outside world.

(You’ll want  to do this while you’re both crossed and uncrossed over the mid-line of your body).

 

 

9. Take your time and use this Circle to clear confusion or complexities out of your mind. You may see them as a million details, numbers, calculations or just a bunch of heavy smoke.

“I clear away the smoke screen so I can see what would actually help me.”

 

10. Now that you’re perceiving things more clearly, ask a few more questions:

“What am I struggling with and am I willing to let it go?”

If you are willing, go ahead and send it to the Sun as you did with the others.

If you’re not willing to let it go, at least you now know what’s really going on.

 

11. Now that you’ve gone through the Simplify Your Life Game, see if you can use this Circle to give voice to what’s really important.

“I  access my true voice and can express what I truly need. I need to _______________.”

 

Once you have what’s important, place that intention in the middle of this Circle and consciously send your energy towards it for improved manifesting. Just like aiming at a bull’s eye!

 

 

11. Help yourself to move forward in the right direction by using this Circle to seal and heal all the holes that have been draining your energy.

“All holes are sealed and healed.”

“I follow the direction of healthy protection.”

12. Finish the game by making sure the protection of your aura is all sealed and healed – a finishing step that will help your health and focus even more!

Congratulations!

Thank yourself for taking the time today to clarify between things that are helpful and those that aren’t. You’ve given voice to what’s important right now and as a result, saved yourself a lot of time and trouble. Not only that, you’ve let go of some epigenetic patterning that’s been cluttering up the situation. This is a positive step in the right direction!

Bring the energy of gratitude in towards the center and let it connect with your heart.

“I am empowered to simplify my life. I am ready, willing and able to follow through on my true priorities.”

Now is a good time to take a walk or go out into Nature to help this all integrate. Be prepared for new ideas and solutions to make their way towards you.

Registration and Refund Policies
Registration for workshops are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.  All workshops have limited enrollment, and many fill up quickly. Payment must be received in order to reserve your space.

Please note that all registration deposits are non refundable if you cancel less than 7 days prior to class starting date. Cancellations up to 7 days prior to class we will transfer 50% of your deposit to the very next training. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will not receive a refund or credit for deposit.

– Late Payments: There is a late payment fee of $35.00 if payment cannot be made according to the agreed upon monthly payment plan. In addition, a $35.00 fee applies to any checks returned for insufficient funds.
