Soul Circle - June 2006
Welcome to the first issue of Soul Circle
It’s been almost a year since my husband Bob and I decided to move from Portland, OR to New Mexico. Luckily I was given the opportunity to spend the time creating a plan for Soul Resources.
So what have I come up with?
Lots and Lots of Games
Many of you are previous clients. You already know how to use the Intuitive Learning Circles and have experienced first hand how well they work. However, I wanted to make them more accessable, so I designed a whole series of Level One, Two and Three games that are quick and direct. Then I decided to make them affordable and easily accessable on the web, so each game can be bought and downloaded right here, thanks to Paypal and Payloadz.
For those of you who subscribe to this e-zine, there are regular, free games that we can all play together. It’s been a lot of work, and worth every minute of it.
Finally…at long last it’s time to share what I’ve learned with some of the brightest, most intuitive people I know. So let’s get busy!
Tipping the Sacred Cow
In our game, the Sacred Cow is a bizarre combination of attrition, malfeasance and abuse, originally derived from a concept that had some merit until a group of people bent, twisted and perverted it into a philosophy, doctrine or point of law that no longer bears any resemblance to the original intention.
This month’s Monument to Contradiction is:
“The Executive Privilege of the President of the United States”
This game is free for you to play with your friends>>

More Tips - Creating a Social Tipping Point
“Starting epidemics requires concentrating resources on a few key areas.” - The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell
For those of you who are interested in social change, I believe there are 3 keys areas that could create an epidemic of positive change:
Our Leadership - you may think that the powers that be have done such a poor job that there’s no way they could get re-elected. That’s a poor assumption. Play Staying on Track with your progressive friends to see how assuming things might make an ass out of u and me - and how to stop it.
Alternative fuels and cleaning up the environment - Play The Magic If to see what you can do about it.
Improved response to crisis situations - Download our free pdf of SOS to help you or someone you know handle emotional turmoil.
Another Free Game - Taming the Bear
In this game, we examine our reactions to people in the news, social behavior or groupthink.
This month, the obvious choice is Ann Coulter. I was going to write about “road rage”, however I think that “Coulter rage” works just as well. Normally, I go out of my way to avoid this woman’s rantings, however her recent diatribe against the widows of 9/11 and the war warrent attention.
Why? Because her obvious ploy to gain publicity for her book is dangerous simply because of the rage it engenders in us. It suck us into whatever black hole she’s living in.
The Treasure
The Treasure for this month is you. Each one of you has an idea that you’ve been fussing around with - maybe for a long time. You know it could work if only this, that or the other thing. Maybe something about it is off and you just can’t figure out what it is. Or something’s missing - a connection, or some component, and you can’t put your finger on it.
This situation calls for The Magic If . In it, you’ll set your intuition on the trail to an answer. It’s conveniently formatted so that you can print it up, put the pages in plastic sleeves and keep it handy for whenever you want to test an idea, make sure it’s a good one for you or plant it in your subconscious mind so that it can grow naturally without a lot of stress.
This is the game that started this website. When I began this project, I had no idea what to do, how I was going to do it or who to find to help me. Together with the other Level One Games, and Creative Slice, I built the whole thing from scratch.
I know you have a brilliant idea too. Isn’t it about time you started?
An Invitation
Okay. Now you know what Soul Circle is all about. Every e-zine will include free games and the chance to purchase pdf downloads from our Level One, Two or Three game series for a nominal fee that will help spread the word to an ever widening circle of friends and organizations. You’ll get plenty of fun from this E-zine, ideas from the intuitive learning circle blog and encouragement from the games themselves. Maybe you are already a member or leader of a group. Whether it’s a business mastermind get-together, a book club, code pink or a mommie’s forum, I know from experience that these games will change your thinking and help you achieve your goals.
Finally, our circle is going to make it through word of mouth, so share it with a friend, better yet, forward this to them and ask them to subscribe too. Until next month, let the ideas flow freely,
Rheanni Lightwater
