In May, Soul Resources will be offering two free classes entitled

Empowering Your Right Livelihood

We’ll be working together using the original principles of Feng Shui and other indigenous teachings such as Hawaiian Huna, Peruvian shamanism and Tibetan wisdom to create a tipping point for real economic prosperity:

Being Open to the New Paradigm

Keeping an open mind is essential when undergoing any significant change or re-alignment. Recently, I started reading a book that had a lot of ideas that were new to me. They didn’t fit into the preconceived ideas I had about how things should be handled. Some of those ideas I simply disagreed with. I could tell, because I was willing to examine the pros and cons and calmly consider the possibilities.

Other ideas brought up an interesting response that surprised me. My mind and creative energy would simply shut down and I had to ask myself, “Is this a good way to be? Is it really more important that I be “right” in this situation? What if there are some real answers here that I am refusing to see, like a small child who refuses to eat what is good for her?”

It took some real determination, and it still does, to keep an open mind, however, we are entering a time where we simply cannot afford to let our egos run us. If we want things like health care reform or economic sustainability, we are going to have to learn how to listen and keep our mind’s open.

Be The Change You Hope To See

You can support an underlying change in consciousness by looking at the Soul Contract Circle below and affirming these statements:

“I release any agreements I have to be distracted from keeping an open mind.

“I release any agreement I have to rebel against having an open mind.

“I release any agreement to make important decisions out of rebellion.”

“I stop feeding my conscious or unconscious desire to rebel.”

“My new agreement is to keep my mind open to the possibility of finding new solutions, ideas and actions that can benefit me and others.”

If we can admit that we don’t know the answer, we are actually freeing ourselves from dominating thoughts and behaviors that have clearly held us back in the past. By bringing more flexibility into our minds, we can allow something different to happen. We can step beyond those old societal patterns that are creating so many problems in our world – both inner and outer.

In Albuquerque, we are starting a Right Livelihood Core Group on Friday, October 30th.

It totally goes against the grain to slow down and be choosy when you’re out of a job in the middle of an economic crisis, and yet, that is exactly the time when you would be best served to take some time and review what is going on with your career. Grasping at just anything isn’t likely to help much in the long run.

Michaelene of Sun 2 Soul Transitions has generously provided a Job Website Link Listing Service for those who are out of work or looking for online support as they go through this time of massive transition.

The page is called Angels on my Side and on it she has researched and listed all kinds of articles, job search sites, inspirational and miscellaneous related sites that could be very helpful to anyone who wants to make conscious choices about the new direction their lives are taking.

Identify the problem

“If you are feeling hopeless, it is because you are focusing on what is falling apart rather than that which is being built.

There is a great and accelerated deterioration in matters that pertain to the old Status Quo. Do not focus your eyes and senses towards them because there is little that you can do in the arena of the old economy.

Focus Your Attention on Positive Solutions

Focus instead upon the new grids of prosperity that are already growing like flowers throughout your country. Like a plant, they need your attention and loving intentions to help them grow and be strong.

If you are a person who is building one of these new flowers, take the time now to fully disengage from that which is disintegrating around you.

Ground Yourself

Step into the new garden of sustainable prosperity and make sure the flower that is your business and service to the community is fully planted in the new garden.

Don’t assume that you have completed the replanting of your energy and livelihoods because aspects have been entrenched in the old until just recently.

Visualize

See your business endeavor as a flower. What kind of flower does it seem to be like?

With this symbol, imagine that you can send it love and light and all the elements required for life to flourish.

When you are grounded in hope rather than fear, the trajectory of your efforts to prosper has no other choice than to head in the direction of your highest good.

Taking the time now to replant yourself fully in the garden of hope will prevent future mishaps and conflicts.”
