Entering the New Paradigm

Kuan Yin - New Paradigm

We are receiving help from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point.

Her I Ching Reading comes from the Fifth Line from HEXAGRAM 23 – DETERIORATION (Splitting Apart):

“An inferior situation is beginning to change for the better. Through co-operation, opposing forces can come together for mutual benefit. There is now a possibility for success in your endeavors.” ~ THE I CHING WORKBOOK by R. L. Wing

“A new energy of cooperation must be fostered in order for this change to come about. Look into your heart and see if you are willing to re-arrange your thinking a bit. The Old Paradigm was built on devision and separation. What is called for now is a WILLINGNESS to re-evaluate priorities and be open to new ideas. This is a gradual process – one that is considerate of others while remaining pragmatic and down to earth.

You are each contributing to the creation of a whole New Paradigm and what you do or don’t do has a significant impact on what is created next. Remember that the energy of SHOCKING is in effect for several more weeks.

Think of the time as if you were in a thunder storm, filled with lightening and great torrents of rain. If you are standing out in the middle of it, you must keep your wits about you in order to respond appropriately. If you shut down, you are in danger. If you panic, your decisions may lead you into even greater troubles. Many people are not used to listening to their hearts in situations like these. And yet, this is the best avenue you can take when dealing with SHOCKING times.

Use the Re-Alignment for the New Paradigm intuition exercise and this symbol to help you. Look at the Circle to below and think of a situation where you are struggling to find an appropriate response. You may feel stuck or shut down, or you may be emotionally driven to repeat an old behavior that you know from experience has not worked well.

Butterfly Medicinewhitespace

Once you have the situation, go through the “Re-Alignment for the New Paradigm” exercise with the objective:

“I am open to new solutions when it comes to  ______________.” (fill in the blank with your situation)

The answers may not come to you immediately, yet if you stay centered, they will come.”

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading for August, 2009

We are receiving help from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point.
Kuan Yin - New Paradigm

Currently we are moving through Hexagram #51 SHOCKING.  This is what she recommends…

“It is important that you accept the changing times and change with them. This means that certain habits and negative behaviors are bound to come to the surface over the next month and if you choose to put your head in the sand, you will miss one of the largest opportunities to heal your heart in this time of SHOCKING change.

Now is an opportune time to clear out confusing ideas and societal prejudices by going within and examining what is most important to you and make a firm determination to stay centered, even as chaotic forces are at their strongest.

Know that those who choose to use force or aggression to further their agendas will experience serious backlashes and setbacks during SHOCKING times. This is not the time to push ahead rashly, rather it is a time to step back and clarify your principles. Be certain that you are coming from a place of love and that you are clear about where your actions will lead you.

Preparing For A New Way of Manifesting

KYManifestlrg
The Heavens have created an awesome moment to facilitate transformation and if you are wise, you will utilize it to it’s fullest. Rarely has there been the opportunity to shift your perception so easily as in this time. Take stock of the persons, places and things that bring you joy and consciously connect them like a diligent spider weaving a web of love. This will assist you in staying centered in the storm.

If you willingly follow and adapt your life according to those things that are naturally good, you will find that you can rid yourself of ancient abuses that have long sucked the spirit of humanity dry. In the wake of SHOCKING times, there is much progress that can be made.”

Kuan Yin’s “Realignment for a New Paradigm” is this month’s  special meditation.

Kuan Yin’s Chronicles

Episode One – The Case of the Recalcitrant Petunias ~

My feng shui deva, Kuan Yin, has often told me that petunias are a physical embodiment of prosperity – they are colorful, soft, and even shaped like a cup to represent their ability to receive abundance. They emanate cooperation since they rarely interfere with other plants and are often used to enhance the feeling of being welcomed in a garden, a front door or porch.

Pink-petunia

Because of this natural receptiveness, I recently decided to plant a few white and pinks in a pot and place it in the recommended position on my front porch. The idea, of course, was to enhance my own sense of prosperity. The result was an interesting relearning of something I already knew. As with all feng shui remedies, a person’s individual attitudes, karma, and conditioning affects how the remedy works. And so it was with me.

What Works for One Person, Does Not Necessarily Work for Everyone.

I remembered that petunias were a favorite of my mother’s, and I have to say, she has been very good at attracting money and material wealth, so it seemed like a good idea. What I hadn’t taken into consideration was the fact that as a child, I had never really liked them. I found them to be too conventional and common. Not only that, I had always rebelled against the color pink. It seemed far too prissy for my tom-boyish personna. Then there was the attitude I grew up with towards my Mom. Simply put, if my Mom liked something or did something in a certain way, I was sure to rebel against it.

Needless to say my little pot, so carefully positioned, immediately began to fail. The copious flowers disappeared almost overnight and while I bemoaned my failure as a gardener, my lack of confidence began to spill over into other areas of my life. This isn’t what I had in mind!

Just as my negative self-talk was beginning to cause some real problems, I discovered a teeny, but extremely ravenous caterpillar devouring a new bloom. How could such a small creature have destroyed the petunia’s medicine so easily? I picked it off and wearily moved the pot to a place in the back yard where I thought caterpillars were unlikely to be. The position wasn’t particularly auspicious, but I hoped the new location might save the plant.

Over the next few days I did some healing work around my rebellious attitude towards my mother, petunias, the color pink and how I choose to receive prosperity. I was amazed at how interconnected my disharmony was.

I looked into this symbol that represents chigger medicine and let it help me uncover some unpleasant and counter-productive assumptions that were “bugging me” if you’ll pardon the pun. If you like, you can try it too. The process is pretty simple and it employs your intuition. That means that you look at the circle, ask the question and then take the very first answer that come to you. Not the second or third – just the first. These are the questions I used:

Chigger Medicine

1. “When it comes to prosperity, what kind of person do I want to be?”

2. “In this situation, am I pushing too hard?

3. “Are my expectations realistic?”

4. “What can I do to change my attitude?”

Then Kuan Yin gave me a new Intuitive Learning Game, which she calls “Realignment for the New Paradigm.”

As It Is Within, So It Is Without

Is it really possible that my petunias could react negatively to my negative reactions? It think it is and that they did.

There’s a happy ending though, all the time that I was worrying about the store-bought petunias, unbeknownst to me, a beautiful, abundant wild patch of petunia-like flowers were busily blooming on the side of the house I rarely notice.

Pink Prosperity Flowers
Things Often Come Into Being As a Natural Expression of Goodness

My request to enhance my sense of prosperity had been granted, only it hadn’t manifested in exactly the way I had expected. By accepting what was working and what wasn’t, I had found a configuration that suits my wilder, more independent ways.

Kuan Yin’s “Realignment for a New Paradigm” is this month’s  special meditation.

Tipping Point – Driven To Distraction

Monday, August 24th, 2009

As I am writing this edition of our Tipping Point Game for Changing Our Frame of Mind, we are currently witnessing, via “death panels”, the perfect example of how the Status Quo is borrowing old tricks and pulling rabbits out of the hat when it comes to health care reform.

Sacred Cow Tipping Game

By appealing to the baser instincts of their constituents, the Old Guard seems to have successfully bullied and intimidated those leaders who claimed they were dedicated to changing the way our government works.

If this is all it takes to cave their determination, what will happen when matters of greater consequence are debated?

Remember how George W. Bush used to distract us with his confusing double-talk and poor grammar? While everyone got all upset and emotional about the gibberish that was being said, Dick Cheney and his cronies were busily working behind the scenes, organizing outrageous schemes under the table. By the time everyone figured out what was going on, it was too late. The damage had already been done and a course was set that led us to the place where we are now.

They were following the Sacred Cow that has supported innumerable acts of war, poor planning and bad decisions:

“Use distraction and fear to get what you want.”

What would have happened back then if we had stayed focused on what was important and let cooler heads prevail? Would we have spent trillions of dollars fighting a war that should never have happened in the first place?

Sacred3cowsweb

Now, years later, we seem to be letting the same thing happen again. Will we actually allow hysterics to distract us from a moral responsibility that has been left in the ditch for too long?

Change Begins From Within

Think of your own life. How often do you get distracted from the real issue by cheap theatrics and emotional outbursts from certain people who have their own agenda? Can you stay focused on what’s in your long term, best interests in spite of their behavior? What are they doing that is distracting you?

You don’t have to give away your power to decide just because someone is behaving irrationally.

You can decide that going for solutions that benefit us all in the long run is preferable to succumbing to screaming and going for the short term solution that isn’t really a solution at all.

Be The Change You Hope To See

You can support an underlying change in consciousness by looking at the Soul Contract Circle below and affirming these statements:

Soul Contract Circle

“I release my agreement to be distracted from what is important.”

“I release any agreement I have to refuse to learn from the past.”

“I release my agreement to make important decisions based on emotional reactions.”

“I stop feeding the screamers with my attention and take affirmative action for the benefit of myself and my fellow human beings.”

You can replace those old Sacred Cows with this:

“I now make a commitment to make sane and balanced decisions that are in my long term, best interests.”

To understand how deeply these Sacred Cows have affected you, play the complete Tipping Game and help yourself shift into a whole new way of thinking.

Tipping Point – The Seductive Energy of Hate

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I was recently at a workshop where people were talking about careers and livelihood and was struck by the common theme of hate. These were all good people, mind you, people who wanted to be happy and prosperous. Yet each and every one of them (including me) was holding on to a reason for their unhappiness.

Sacred Cow Tipping Game

Several people didn’t like the city they lived in – they found it too dry, not enough green, the people too “in your face”, too much poverty, etc. Other people didn’t like their jobs, the people they had to deal with or certain aspects of their work.

Many of them were facing physical illnesses including depression, fibromyalgia and anxiety and most of them consistently used the word “hate” to describe whatever was challenging them.

“I hate my job. I hate this person. I hate the gangs. I hate having to chase after the almighty dollar. I hate having to feel all the negative energy around me!”

Release the Binding Energy of Hate

I learned early on in my intuitive practice that hate is a binding energy. What I mean by that is when you “hate” something, your thoughts, your mindset and your energy gets very hard and constricted – not to mention your heart. The same goes for anger, however, anger is more of an immediate reaction – it usually comes up to let you know that something is off – something is wrong that needs your attention right away. It’s telling you that there is some aspect of this situation that isn’t good for you. Anger can be a very useful emotion when it motivates you to take productive action to change something that’s causing you harm.

Hate is different in that it has taken anger and hardened it into a whole belief system. It is a refusal to accept that there might be something good about the object of our hate. We focus our attention on it and send angry thoughts toward it, thinking that somehow doing so will make it go away and ease our suffering. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. The more we hate something, the more we are bound to it.

What You Put Out, You Get Back…Tenfold

The negativity is made worse when the status quo teaches us to react with these Sacred Cows:

“If you hate, you can make something go away.”

“Hate somehow makes you safer.”

“Hating something makes you superior to it.”

“Hate helps you to feel better about yourself.”

“When you hate something, you cause damage to it, but not to yourself.”

Sacred Cow Quartet

A Complex Pattern and Recipe for Unhappiness

To see these social contracts in action, all one needs to do is observe some one like Rush Limbaugh or some other politico that you “hate”. Mr.Limbaugh deliberately and seductively uses the energy of hate to keep himself in a position of power. Let’s look at it.

He taps into an existing prejudice and says something hateful, something guaranteed to offend a large sector of the population and suddenly all eyes are upon him. Those of us who who consider ourselves to be tolerant and peace loving find ourselves being sucked into the hate energy and mindset. We hate the hate mongerer and are now riding on the same bus with him.

Bus Bench

With Rush, it’s all the more insidious because he knows what he’s doing. He’s consciously using these Sacred Cows to keep himself in the public eye. Hating him does not make him go away. It makes him more powerful and it keeps the Sacred Cows fed, all fat and pleased with themselves. They say, “Look how easy it was to get them to buy into our delusion.”

So how do we get off the bus? How do we relieve the stress and suffering that comes with the mindset of hate?
I suggest that we start by releasing our agreement to hold on to hate as if it is helpful to us.

Look at the Soul Contract Circle below and imagine that you can burn and release any social contracts that are causing you harm. You can use the affirmation below it to help you:
Soul Contract Circle

It’s amazing how much energy you can free up by doing this and as intuitive people, we can do even more.

Emotions are Simply Energy in Motion = e-motion

We can sense the energy that’s being put out, right? So we can use that ability to disperse the energy too!

You can use this symbol to help you get in contact with with the energy pattern of hatred and dissolve it. All you have to do is look at this symbol, relax and get in contact with that hardened pattern of hate. Once you have it, use your intention to dissolve it, like dark clouds dispersing in the atmosphere.

Dissolving Destructive Blueprints

Once you’ve freed your mind, attention and energy from the grip of hatred, you can go through the Tipping Point Game to get even more centered and find out what would work better for you.

We all have a desire to be free of suffering and head in a direction that will bring us happiness. None of us need any more hate. Don’t let it get you to take the wrong bus.

Get off the Bus by Tipping this Sacred Cow!

Conscious Career Resources

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

It totally goes against the grain to slow down and be choosy when you’re out of a job in the middle of an economic crisis, and yet, that is exactly the time when you would be best served to take some time and review what is going on with your career. Grasping at just anything isn’t likely to help much in the long run.

Michaelene of Sun 2 Soul Transitions has generously provided a Job Website Link Listing Service for those who are out of work or looking for online support as they go through this time of massive transition.

The page is called Angels on my Side and on it she has researched and listed all kinds of articles, job search sites, inspirational and miscellaneous related sites that could be very helpful to anyone who wants to make conscious choices about the new direction their lives are taking.

She has included Kuan Yin’s Simplicity Game and our Tipping Point Game called “Creating a Tipping Point for Economic Prosperity.”

Thank you, Micheaelane, for taking the time to put this wonderful resource together!

Sacred Cow Tipping – Commitment to Freedom

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

We are getting closer and closer to releasing our economic agreements with the Status Quo. However, before we’re finished this particular series of Cow Tipping Games, we really must handle this major Sacred Cow accompanied by her siblings, because they would just love to keep us stuck in the mire of doubt, fear and cynicism:

“Without the Status Quo in charge, the world will fall into chaos and be destroyed.”

Sacred Cow QuartetThis “big one” sets the playing field up so that the others can spread their misinformation and thinly veiled threats throughout the pasture, keeping people like us corralled into a scenario of doom and gloom. This manure creates thoughts in our heads, like these:

~ “You don’t know what you’re doing.”
~ “You obviously don’t understand.”
~ “You’re lost.”
~ “What if you make a mistake?”

Reclaim Your Faith in Yourself

Those kinds of thoughts have never lead us in a positive direction, they take us right back to avoidance of our own power and being willing to settle for less.
Intuitive Learning Circle “Things will never change, we might as well give up.”
“It’s too hard. We don’t have a chance – we’re screwed.”
“Let’s face it, there’s no way out.”
“I’m too scared to make a decision, make it for me.”
“I’m stuck, we’re stuck, the whole world is stuck.

We aren’t stuck; the Status Quo  is stuck and we need to stop following the Status Quo. It feels really sticky and unpleasant, that’s true. However, the very fact that we’re feeling it so strongly means that we’re breaking away from it. Don’t give up!

Look at the Sacred Contract circle to your right and let go of your personal, familial and cultural agreement to be lead around by fearmongering of the Status Quo. Tip the cow and make a new commitment to a change in direction. Not just any change, a real change that has freedom, peace and prosperity at its core.

I Ching Reading – The Truth Shall Set You Free

Monday, May 4th, 2009

As you recall, Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion is helping us through these difficult times with advice, divinations and energy readings based on the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point. Let’s see what she has to say this month…

Kuan Yins I Ching Readings

“American society has interesting and conflicting views about the Truth. You say, “the Truth shall set you free” and yet your actions often belie the statement.

The fear of the Truth is the subject of our reading and the Hexagram from the I Ching that conveys the energy of the cosmos at this time is #35 Progress. We are moving out of Hexagram #23 Deterioration where major aspects of your society have come face to face with defeat, yet that is not necessarily a bad thing.

If you have been paying attention to the media and believing that you have no options, you will disregard the underlying changes that have appeared for the better. If you, instead, will listen to the messages from your heart you will understand that indeed, Progress is being made.

Remember that the forward movement of humanity is not dependent upon false ideas about money and returning to the “good old days.” You know intuitively that the time for new answers is upon you.

Communication is the key and here I will quote from the I Ching Workbook by R. L. Wing:

“Communication is now of vast importance during a time of rapid PROGRESS. It is wise for you to stay in close touch with all levels of your social world. Monitor the needs of others and be supportive of progressive improvements. Take an active part in the affairs of society now in order to refine and enhance your inner worth.”

What Will Help During this Time?

Learn to stop identifying with the small mind for it would like you to believe that the Truth is something to be afraid of.

What if you stopped trying to control the Truth and made it a friend? Could you allow it to be more of a guide and objective force of Nature than something to be avoided or denied?

If you are unhappy, what is the harm in accepting the Truth and then taking steps to rectify it? Perhaps some may feel that there would be some form of punishment involved in finding a solution.

I would suggest that there is more suffering involved in denying or avoiding the Truth than there is in coming clean. The opportunities for reform are great and far reaching at this time, yet the opportunity is lost when the Truth cannot or will not be discerned.

Make a Pact With Your Spirit

Choose to follow Truth and forgive yourself unconditionally for any error or misunderstanding you may be holding in your small mind. Allow your heart and spirit to soften the harsh words you have for yourself and others. All are caught in the illusion of the small mind and you can help by removing your voice from the cacophony of accusations.

Hope for the Future

Your smile and gentle words will accomplish more in this time than forceful or punitive measures. Give yourself permission to reform your strength of character. Allow the the energy of the cosmos to influence your understanding of the human condition. Then, when you can see the seeds of discontent within yourself as well as others, you will know the true meaning of compassion.

Holding grudges against yourself and others is not productive and distracts from the true possibilities.

If you fear certain decisions that will set you free, allow your hope for the future to relax you and show you the way forward.

Release any agreement to be hard on yourself or others.”

Tips For Making Friends With The Truth

Kuan Yin's Simplicity Game
“Truth Knows No Master”

If your life has become too complex, play the Simplicity Game I have provided for you. The Truth is much easier to perceive when extraneous elements are removed.

Perhaps you have allowed some simple benefit to be ignored. Now is the time to become aware of it and embrace it for your higher good. Meditate on this symbol and place it in your home, someplace where you can see it often. As you look at it, ask yourself, “What benefits am I turning away from?” For most of you, there are many. Resolve to change your attitude towards them and accept them as gifts.

The small mind would prefer that you forget the gentler movements of the cosmos because it is addicted to dramatic and apocalyptic visions. Release your agreement with those visions and allow your heart and soul to guide you. Let yourself be supported by the emerging energy of Progress.”

Sacred Cow Tipping – Time to Change Focus

Creating a Tipping Point for Sustainable Economic Prosperity

The Status Quo is at it again – trying to blow the smoke of denial in our eyes. They would like us to rescue the Old Economy and bring back the old ways of manipulating commerce and unsustainable business practices.

Sacred Cow Tipping Game

What is actually required is to move forward and build the infrastructure for a New Economy based on sustainability, access and accountability. Yet the Sacred Cow that says, “Keep looking backwards” is front and center, stubbornly digging it’s heels in to sabotage any real change.

Most people know in their heart of hearts that the old economy is dying. The Old Guard would love to feed the sense of hopelessness and fear with their carefully calculated doomsday predictions and the Media will gladly oblige.

What we can do to pull the plug on this kind of thinking is to turn our focus towards businesses and solutions that are being built now, rather than spending our precious resources on keeping the Titanic afloat.

To do that, we will have  to release our social contract to comply with “Keep looking backwards”. One way to do that is to consciously make some new decisions.

Soul Contract Circle

Take a look at the Soul Contract Circle above and use these affirmations to break the contract:

“I release my agreement to buy into the fear, denial and doomsday thinking of the Old Guard.”

“I release any agreements I have to feed them with my attention or energy.

“I stop supporting those who are greedy or irresponsible.”

“I now focus on building the infrastructure for a sustainable economy.”

If you want to change your focus even more, you can play the entire Sacred Cow Tipping Point Game.

Kuan Yins Advice for March

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009
Grounding in the New Paradigm

Kuan Yin has been helping us to transition from the old paradigm to a new paradigm of sustainable prosperity.

Her advice springs from the I Ching, an ancient book of divination that follows the flow of the cosmos. Because of that, her advice and instruction comes from a different perspective than ours.

Kuan Yins I Ching Readings

Kuan Yins I Ching Readings

To help you better connect with her  assistance, she uses Intuitive Learning Circles to communicate with you through meditation, affirmations and visualization.

These Circles and Charts will help you to identify problems, change your focus to positive solutions, ground yourself and get in the present. Simply relax and gaze at them while contemplating Kuan Yins  words. Your intuition will come forward and give you the help that you seek.

The I Ching Reading for March

Hexagram #23 DETERIORATION (Splitting Apart)

Identify the problem

Identify the problem

If you are feeling hopeless, it is because you are focusing on what is falling apart rather than that which is being built.

There is a great and accelerated deterioration in matters that pertain to the old Status Quo. Do not focus your eyes and senses towards them because there is little that you can do in the arena of the old economy.

Focus Your Attention on Positive Solutions

Focus Your Attention on Positive Solutions

Focus instead upon the new grids of prosperity that are already growing like flowers throughout your country. Like a plant, they need your attention and loving intentions to help them grow and be strong.

If you are a person who is building one of these new flowers, take the time now to fully disengage from that which is disintegrating around you.

Ground Yourself

Ground Yourself

Step into the new garden of sustainable prosperity and make sure the flower that is your business and service to the community is fully planted in the new garden.

Don’t assume that you have completed the replanting of your energy and livelihoods because aspects have been entrenched in the old until just recently.

Visualize

Visualize

See your business endeavor as a flower. What kind of flower does it seem to be like?

With this symbol, imagine that you can send it love and light and all the elements required for life to flourish.

When you are grounded in hope rather than fear, the trajectory of your efforts to prosper has no other choice than to head in the direction of your highest good.

Taking the time now to replant yourself fully in the garden of hope will prevent future mishaps and conflicts.”
