Feng Shui and Bankruptcy

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

If your mind is in turmoil or preoccupied with financial fears, it is quite difficult to “stay positive” and face the challenges of our lives. One reason that we have so much difficulty is because each of us has experienced bankruptcy or serious loss in this life or even in past lives and there are collective Karmic Imprints that perpetuate the patterns of devastation in all of us.

Our Intuitive Learning Games are designed to clear personal and collective karma that are drawn from various energy flow principles, including those of feng shui. In this healing exercise, we will use a classic feng shui problem as a model to demonstrate and clear the collective karma around bankruptcy.

This picture represents a house with a serious energy flow problem. If you look carefully, you can see that the stairs leading up to the second floor are positioned very unfortunately right in line with the front door.

Why is this a problem?

Because the chi’ or positive energy flow for prosperity all runs right out the front door, causing severe financial stress on those who live there. People who live in houses with this kind of floor plan often experience continuous exhaustion, bankruptcy and loss.

3 Step Process to Remove the Karmic Imprints of Bankruptcy and Loss

Step 1

While looking at this Intuitive Learning Circle, think of a time when you were afraid of running out of money. Let the energy of the chart slow you down and help you to release fixations and tensions.

Step 2

Look again at the feng shui blueprint above that represents bankruptcy and loss. Now use this symbol to dissolve the image in your mind until there is nothing left but clear space. Use this affirmation to help you:

“I release all agreements to support the energy pattern of bankruptcy in any way.”

Once you have done that, imagine that there is the same blueprint for all your friends, family and community members and that they are laid out in row upon row, reaching out as far as the eye can see. You realize that everyone is being affected by this blueprint in one way or the other.

Remember to include your pets and others animals. They have souls and karma too.

You think to yourself, “Everyone is suffering because of this pattern. I can’t bear to see so much suffering. I will dissolve this blueprint in my own mind at least for the sake of everyone I know and care about.”

Then you use the symbol to dissolve the whole scene.

Step 3

Imagine that you can gather all the karmic imprints for bankruptcy, loss and physical exhaustion from all your past lives as if they were seeds sitting in a storehouse. Use this symbol to send the whole storehouse up to the Sun for purification.

Once you are finished, use this same symbol to plant the seeds in your heart for peaceful, balanced prosperity and good health.

Now imagine that you are turning to face the Sun, ready to embrace your life.

Congratulations!

You have reduced your karmic potential for bankruptcy and given yourself the gift of greater peace of mind. If you know someone who could use this process, send them a link.

Sacred Cow Tipping – Disrespecting the Earth

Friday, October 16th, 2009

It is almost as if the Family Tree of Humanity is rooted in the fields of war, unrest and devastation and is unaware that there are also fields of prosperity, cooperation and peace that we could be nurtured in.

Large Sacred CowPerhaps it’s because many of us buy into the rancor and shortsightedness of this Sacred Cow:

“Disrespect the Earth and those that inhabit her.”

If the collective agreement with that statement could be released, perhaps Humanity could choose to be replanted in common ground where people work together to get climate change under control. A place that is free from disrespect and exploitation is a place where miracles can occur much more easily and sustainable prosperity can be achieved.

Bearing Fruit in a Richer Garden

Intuitive Learning Circle You can loosen up the soil that imprisons your own family tree if you can take just a few minutes out of your time. Look at the Sacred Contract Circle to your left and release these agreements:

“War and competition is the source of my prosperity.”
“ I have to be rooted in disrespect and exploitation.”
“There is no common ground.”
“Miracles are not possible.”

Play our tipping game, and release your agreement to abide by these Sacred Cows from the Status Quo.

Kuan Yin | Entering the New Paradigm

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading for August, 2009

We are receiving help from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point.
Kuan Yin - New Paradigm

Currently we are moving through Hexagram #51 SHOCKING.  This is what she recommends…

“It is important that you accept the changing times and change with them. This means that certain habits and negative behaviors are bound to come to the surface over the next month and if you choose to put your head in the sand, you will miss one of the largest opportunities to heal your heart in this time of SHOCKING change.

Now is an opportune time to clear out confusing ideas and societal prejudices by going within and examining what is most important to you and make a firm determination to stay centered, even as chaotic forces are at their strongest.

Know that those who choose to use force or aggression to further their agendas will experience serious backlashes and setbacks during SHOCKING times. This is not the time to push ahead rashly, rather it is a time to step back and clarify your principles. Be certain that you are coming from a place of love and that you are clear about where your actions will lead you.

Preparing For A New Way of Manifesting

KYManifestlrg
The Heavens have created an awesome moment to facilitate transformation and if you are wise, you will utilize it to it’s fullest. Rarely has there been the opportunity to shift your perception so easily as in this time. Take stock of the persons, places and things that bring you joy and consciously connect them like a diligent spider weaving a web of love. This will assist you in staying centered in the storm.

If you willingly follow and adapt your life according to those things that are naturally good, you will find that you can rid yourself of ancient abuses that have long sucked the spirit of humanity dry. In the wake of SHOCKING times, there is much progress that can be made.”

Kuan Yin’s “Realignment for a New Paradigm” is this month’s  special meditation.

Tipping Point – The Seductive Energy of Hate

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

I was recently at a workshop where people were talking about careers and livelihood and was struck by the common theme of hate. These were all good people, mind you, people who wanted to be happy and prosperous. Yet each and every one of them (including me) was holding on to a reason for their unhappiness.

Sacred Cow Tipping Game

Several people didn’t like the city they lived in – they found it too dry, not enough green, the people too “in your face”, too much poverty, etc. Other people didn’t like their jobs, the people they had to deal with or certain aspects of their work.

Many of them were facing physical illnesses including depression, fibromyalgia and anxiety and most of them consistently used the word “hate” to describe whatever was challenging them.

“I hate my job. I hate this person. I hate the gangs. I hate having to chase after the almighty dollar. I hate having to feel all the negative energy around me!”

Release the Binding Energy of Hate

I learned early on in my intuitive practice that hate is a binding energy. What I mean by that is when you “hate” something, your thoughts, your mindset and your energy gets very hard and constricted – not to mention your heart. The same goes for anger, however, anger is more of an immediate reaction – it usually comes up to let you know that something is off – something is wrong that needs your attention right away. It’s telling you that there is some aspect of this situation that isn’t good for you. Anger can be a very useful emotion when it motivates you to take productive action to change something that’s causing you harm.

Hate is different in that it has taken anger and hardened it into a whole belief system. It is a refusal to accept that there might be something good about the object of our hate. We focus our attention on it and send angry thoughts toward it, thinking that somehow doing so will make it go away and ease our suffering. Unfortunately, the opposite is true. The more we hate something, the more we are bound to it.

What You Put Out, You Get Back…Tenfold

The negativity is made worse when the status quo teaches us to react with these Sacred Cows:

“If you hate, you can make something go away.”

“Hate somehow makes you safer.”

“Hating something makes you superior to it.”

“Hate helps you to feel better about yourself.”

“When you hate something, you cause damage to it, but not to yourself.”

Sacred Cow Quartet

A Complex Pattern and Recipe for Unhappiness

To see these social contracts in action, all one needs to do is observe some one like Rush Limbaugh or some other politico that you “hate”. Mr.Limbaugh deliberately and seductively uses the energy of hate to keep himself in a position of power. Let’s look at it.

He taps into an existing prejudice and says something hateful, something guaranteed to offend a large sector of the population and suddenly all eyes are upon him. Those of us who who consider ourselves to be tolerant and peace loving find ourselves being sucked into the hate energy and mindset. We hate the hate mongerer and are now riding on the same bus with him.

Bus Bench

With Rush, it’s all the more insidious because he knows what he’s doing. He’s consciously using these Sacred Cows to keep himself in the public eye. Hating him does not make him go away. It makes him more powerful and it keeps the Sacred Cows fed, all fat and pleased with themselves. They say, “Look how easy it was to get them to buy into our delusion.”

So how do we get off the bus? How do we relieve the stress and suffering that comes with the mindset of hate?
I suggest that we start by releasing our agreement to hold on to hate as if it is helpful to us.

Look at the Soul Contract Circle below and imagine that you can burn and release any social contracts that are causing you harm. You can use the affirmation below it to help you:
Soul Contract Circle

It’s amazing how much energy you can free up by doing this and as intuitive people, we can do even more.

Emotions are Simply Energy in Motion = e-motion

We can sense the energy that’s being put out, right? So we can use that ability to disperse the energy too!

You can use this symbol to help you get in contact with with the energy pattern of hatred and dissolve it. All you have to do is look at this symbol, relax and get in contact with that hardened pattern of hate. Once you have it, use your intention to dissolve it, like dark clouds dispersing in the atmosphere.

Dissolving Destructive Blueprints

Once you’ve freed your mind, attention and energy from the grip of hatred, you can go through the Tipping Point Game to get even more centered and find out what would work better for you.

We all have a desire to be free of suffering and head in a direction that will bring us happiness. None of us need any more hate. Don’t let it get you to take the wrong bus.

Sacred Cow Tipping – Commitment to Freedom

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

We are getting closer and closer to releasing our economic agreements with the Status Quo. However, before we’re finished this particular series of Cow Tipping Games, we really must handle this major Sacred Cow accompanied by her siblings, because they would just love to keep us stuck in the mire of doubt, fear and cynicism:

“Without the Status Quo in charge, the world will fall into chaos and be destroyed.”

Sacred Cow QuartetThis “big one” sets the playing field up so that the others can spread their misinformation and thinly veiled threats throughout the pasture, keeping people like us corralled into a scenario of doom and gloom. This manure creates thoughts in our heads, like these:

~ “You don’t know what you’re doing.”
~ “You obviously don’t understand.”
~ “You’re lost.”
~ “What if you make a mistake?”

Reclaim Your Faith in Yourself

Those kinds of thoughts have never lead us in a positive direction, they take us right back to avoidance of our own power and being willing to settle for less.
Intuitive Learning Circle “Things will never change, we might as well give up.”
“It’s too hard. We don’t have a chance – we’re screwed.”
“Let’s face it, there’s no way out.”
“I’m too scared to make a decision, make it for me.”
“I’m stuck, we’re stuck, the whole world is stuck.

We aren’t stuck; the Status Quo  is stuck and we need to stop following the Status Quo. It feels really sticky and unpleasant, that’s true. However, the very fact that we’re feeling it so strongly means that we’re breaking away from it. Don’t give up!

Look at the Sacred Contract circle to your right and let go of your personal, familial and cultural agreement to be lead around by fearmongering of the Status Quo. Tip the cow and make a new commitment to a change in direction. Not just any change, a real change that has freedom, peace and prosperity at its core.

Creating a Tipping Point for Sustainable Economic Prosperity

The Status Quo is at it again – trying to blow the smoke of denial in our eyes. They would like us to rescue the Old Economy and bring back the old ways of manipulating commerce and unsustainable business practices.

Sacred Cow Tipping Game

What is actually required is to move forward and build the infrastructure for a New Economy based on sustainability, access and accountability. Yet the Sacred Cow that says, “Keep looking backwards” is front and center, stubbornly digging it’s heels in to sabotage any real change.

Most people know in their heart of hearts that the old economy is dying. The Old Guard would love to feed the sense of hopelessness and fear with their carefully calculated doomsday predictions and the Media will gladly oblige.

What we can do to pull the plug on this kind of thinking is to turn our focus towards businesses and solutions that are being built now, rather than spending our precious resources on keeping the Titanic afloat.

To do that, we will have  to release our social contract to comply with “Keep looking backwards”. One way to do that is to consciously make some new decisions.

Soul Contract Circle

Take a look at the Soul Contract Circle above and use these affirmations to break the contract:

“I release my agreement to buy into the fear, denial and doomsday thinking of the Old Guard.”

“I release any agreements I have to feed them with my attention or energy.

“I stop supporting those who are greedy or irresponsible.”

“I now focus on building the infrastructure for a sustainable economy.”

If you want to change your focus even more, you can play the entire Sacred Cow Tipping Point Game.

Sacred Cow Tipping – Blame the Victim

Friday, March 6th, 2009

Large Sacred CowCreating a Tipping Point for Economic Prosperity

Long, long ago, the Status Quo established a particularly opportunist Sacred Cow to use whenever cornered by their own abuse of power. This collective agreement was bred and perpetuated into the people through the use of force and trauma to avoid responsibility, and it’s being used now with the economy:

“Blame the Victim.”

The way it often works is for the perpetrator to insist that they had no choice – they had to do whatever it was they did because of the victim. They don’t want the economic recovery plan to help the people that need it the most. They think they are able to depend on compliance because the victims are so used to being abused, falling into the role almost automatically. A victim readily accepts blame because that is what they have been trained to do through repeated traumatic events.

Freeing Up the Victim Mentality

Intuitive Learning Circle Look at the Sacred Contract Circle to your right and go through this checklist of agreements that support the identity of being a victim:

“I release the agreement that I am to blame for things others do.”

“I retract any statements I have made while being threatened.”

“I completely forgive myself for the mistakes I believe myself to have made.”

“I am forgiven, regardless of what any other person has told me.”

Now go through the tipping point game and let’s tip this Sacred Cow to send a clear message that there is another choice.

Thank you for your participation – the energy that you are freeing up through this process is making a difference on how bad this economic crisis gets.

Sacred Cow Tipping – The Hidden Cost of War

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Large Sacred CowCreating a Tipping Point for Economic Prosperity

There are many good reasons why people have difficulty changing direction and some of them have to do with our Sacred Cows.

The majority of these unconscious agreements are held in place by trauma.

By far, the biggest cause of trauma is war and the members of the old guard that perpetuate it. That’s why today’s Sacred Cows are:

“Treat people like commodities; use them up and then throw them away.”

And

“Only weak people experience post-traumatic stress.”

What is Post Traumatic Stress?

Warlike Energies

Personally, I have suffered from many of the symptoms of post traumatic stress for most of my life:

  • Feeling fear about the future
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Frequent boughts of insomnia or nightmares
  • Feelings of guilt or helplessness
  • Uncontrollable crying
  • Flashbacks
  • Shock and overwhelm.

As a child, I had a horrible time getting along with others and school was a major struggle. I grew up with constant panic attacks and seemed to get myself in trouble no matter what I did.

It wasn’t until my mid-thirties that I realized my behavior was not due to just being a bad person as I was often told. I had reasons for my apparent lack of control, and they were good ones. My father was a navigator in the Army Air Corps during World War II and the Korean War and had participated in countless bombing missions. When he came home, the U. S. Military gave him a couple of weeks R&R in the Carribean – no counseling and no opportunity to decompress from the horrors of war.

Needless to say, he was not ready to return and take up the role of “Father Knows Best”, the popular TV show of the time. He was moody, given to rages, migraines and had no patience for small children. I lived my preschool years in absolute fear of him and as a young adult, I rebelled and went out of my way to hurt him. It wasn’t until I was 44 and he was dying of cancer that I understood where the violence had come from; what had happened to our family and what was really responsible for it.

Before he passed away, my father shared his deep regret and guilt about killing so many people. The pain and remorse that he had been holding in was eating up his body and palpable on his face as he recounted wartime experiences that both humbled and horrified me at the same time.

I literally watched him go yellow and break out into a cold sweat while he detoxed a drug the military had given him in place of quinine as a “treatment” for malaria. Evidently the drug did nothing whatsoever to protect him or the thousands of other soldiers who took it from malaria, it was only intended to keep them on their feet no matter what. No wonder he turned into a workaholic and could never relax. The mass use of that drug may explain a lot about the health problems of many men of his generation – heart attacks, stoicism, emotional inaccessability, workaholism, alcolholism, not to mention cancer.

In his death, my father taught me something very important about post traumatic stress. He had spent his whole life running away from it, yet when he realized his time was running out, he began to accept what had happened and how frightened he had been. By providing him with a safe and loving place to talk, he was able to let it go emotionally, spiritually and physically. I know that by the time he passed away, he had made his peace with me and more importantly, with himself.

With him as an inspiration, I sought after a form of treatment that might be instrumental in breaking the cycle of war, abuse, learning disabilities and chronic health problems, and that is how the circles we use in our Tipping game came to be.

This set of Sacred Cows will not tip on their own. Please join me in playing this game.

I Ching Reading – January Transitions

Monday, January 26th, 2009

The Goal of your economic system has been, up until this point, purely the acquisition of money. Today marks the beginning of a new era where money will eventually find its proper place.

Kuan Yin Simplicity GameIn the new system, the Goal of Balance becomes primary as that is the only frame of existance that can support life on a long-term basis.

Much needs to be done, yet your recent freedom from the bondage of your old ways can help you make the change.

It has been mentioned before that there are new chalices to contain the flow of prosperity. Some are still very much attached to the old chalice, which I will call “Greed”. When making your way to the new chalices, you will have better luck if you can understand how you have been out of balance and what to do to regain it.

As you make the transition from Greed to Balance it is of great importance that you don’t confront or struggle with opposing forces and as a result become emotionally involved with what is, actually, a futile situation. If you remain entangled with these forces you will not be able to make progress.

ProsperityListen to your heart and let it give you a song that will help you to remain on track and in balance.

Think of your new life as a garden that you will be tending differently. To train your mind to make appropriate adjustments, consider using the Games for Hope Series.

Each game will help you to set up and nurture your new garden using the new chalices of prosperity.
