Working with the Flow
An Abrupt Change in Momentum
Back on the 12th and 13th of April, 2010 we went through a significant transition in America through the I Ching Energy of Hexagram #2 NATURAL RESPONSE.
Since then, the I Ching Energy for America has broken up into multiple flows of energy, so it has become impossible to provide a reading in the way I have been over the past couple of years. However, Kuan Yin is still able to give us some guidance that will help us find the flow that will be most beneficial for us. That means that our intentions and our dedication to be true to them become very important. There is a common phrase that says, “just go with the flow.” In times like these, we need to be aware of which flow we are going with, and is it one that truly reflects when we want to go? Quite simply, there are times when we need to paddle and this is one of them. Once we find a beneficial flow, we need to learn to work with it.
I have promised to keep you informed as much as possible and Kuan Yin has some more advice to help us make the adjustments that are required to effectively handle this kind of change in the collective energy…
Feng Shui To Raise the Vibration
Here is a feng shui remedy that Kuan Yin shared with me to help raise the vibration in my home and give me some emotional protection as these unpredictable energy shifts continue.

In times where there is a lot of instability in the general energy level, it’s good to apply remedies that will help to balance things out. I was guided to plant some yarrow in the front yard, which will bring increased emotional balance and to place a piece of selenium nearby which has the ability to repel negative energies.
As soon as I set them out properly, I felt a huge sigh of relief go through me and the vibration in my home returned to its normal level. If you are an emotional type, I highly recommend this remedy.

Kuan Yin’s I Ching Reading
We are receiving help from Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, who is guiding us through the I Ching, an ancient Chinese text that follows and predicts movements and energy flow in the cosmos. Her advice as always, is direct and to the point.

“When one is feeling as though things are out of control, it’s best to follow the advice from Hexagram #9 RESTRAINED which advises:
“Nothing can be done externally…work on the Self. Refine your impulses and desires.”
~ The I Ching Workbook by R. L. Wing (Doubleday)
This is the unchanging line, so that means that there is an external blockage that will eventually move on it’s own accord. However, nothing that one might try to move it forcefully will work.
The Importance of Working with the Flow
Remember, there are certain activities that do better when the energy of the Cosmos is flowing in certain ways. In periods when the I Ching energy is chaotic, grand schemes to enforce control are out of the question. It is a good time to look very closely at any opinions or beliefs that you hold that might be causing trouble from behind the scenes. Look especially closely at conflicts that may surface during this time.
In general, it is to your best advantage to wait out what may seem like a very unfulfilling situation by going within and looking closely at your current projects and activities to review them and make adjustments if necessary.
How will you know if something needs to be adjusted? Here is one suggestion:
Make a list of important activities that you are planning for the near future. Go through them one at a time while you check in with your Highest Guidance through the Circle below.
Ask these three simple questions about the activity and you will know if an adjustment is needed.
Question #1 ~
“What am I doing?”
Question #2 ~
“How will it help?”
Question #3 ~
“Am I pushing?”
If you are unclear or get an unfavorable answer, it is for either one of these two reasons:
1) This particular activity is being blocked externally and you would do better to wait for a more auspicious time. To find out ask, “Is the problem the timing?” If the answer is ‘yes’, pull back. If you can RESTRAIN yourself from pushing forward, especially when the time isn’t right, you can avoid costly mistakes. Allow the Universe to work for you.
The other possibility is:
2) The activity needs an adjustment from within.
Ask, ‘Is an adjustment needed from within?”
If that is the case, it would be wise to closely examine your opinions and beliefs with the help of your Inner Wisdom.”

I read the article on the money energy block when you have a stairwell directly across from your front door. Mine is leading up to the second floor. Yes I am exhausted working all the time to keep money coming in and out it goes. No cure was mentioned. Could you tell us what to do.

Dear Pat,
The cure is, first of all, to eliminate the mental pattern as described in the exercise. Everything begins on the mental level, so that is actually a big part of it.
As to what to do on a physical level in your home – without being able to be there and actually see what is going on, it’s hard for me to recommend a definite cure. The main thing is being able to get the energy flowing correctly and grounded in the center of the home rather than flowing out the door and that will probably require a more complete analysis and a combination of remedies, based on your individual circumstances.
My recommendation is to seek out the help of a professional feng shui expert in your area. If that’s not possible I might be able to work with you directly over the phone. You can contact me at (505) 271-4612 and talk about setting that up.
I hope that this is of some assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Rheanni
