Bringing your Idea into Alignment with Nature
The purpose of The Magic If is to develop an idea that flows with more than one point of view.
Any idea that takes only one point of view into account can be hijacked by your critical mind and used to take you places you don’t want to go.
Take for example, the war in Iraq. If the administration had taken more than one point of view - if they had listened to their detractors - they would have received real help about possible problems in their plan.
You can avoid having your critical mind (or ego, if you prefer) hijack your good ideas by letting your imagination play with it for a while first. That way, you can access all of your resources and find a solution that has a better chance of taking you where you really want to go.
Everywhere you hear the familiar refrain, “the country’s heading in the wrong direction”, so let’s use that as our first Tipping Point.
Ghandi said, “be the change you want to see”. Play with that. Play The Magic If using your own idea about what direction you want to see our country going.
