I am on the board of a non-profit organization and we often struggling with finding enough people to contribute their time and energy to get things done. This has created a lot of stress and resentment. So I tipped the sacred cow of “You can never get anyone to do anything” to let go of the idea that I can’t get people to help so I have to do everything myself. There will always be someone who if they see they are truly needed, will come to the task.
